Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)MY VEHICLE JUST SUDDENLY STOPPED DEAD, IN THE ROAD AFTER LEAVING MY RESIDENCE AND ALL CONTROL WAS LOST. UNABLE TO PUT TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRAL TO PUSH VEHICLE OFF ROAD. I HAD IT REPAIRED BY A TRAINED MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A FAULTY IGNITION. I HAD THE FAULTY IGNITION REPLACED AND THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATIONAL AGAIN ALONG WITH THE WORRY OF THIS HAPPENING AGAIN.
THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I DON'T KNOW IF MY VEHICLE WILL START. I PUT THE KEY IN AND SOMETIMES IT STARTS RIGHT UP AND OTHER TIMES, I HAVE TO KEEP TURNING AND TURNING AND WAIT UNTIL IT WILL CATCH ON. THERE WERE TIMES WHERE I HAD WAIT UP TO AN HOUR FOR MY CAR TO START. I NEVER KNOW WHEN BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN INDICATOR WHEN THE VEHICLE WILL DECIDE TO START. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN IT WOULD WORK FINE FOR ONE MONTH WITH NO INCIDENT, THEN IT WILL NOT SWITCH ON. SEEMS LIKE WHEN I TAKE IT TO THE SHOP, THAT IS WHEN THE CAR DECIDES TO ACT RIGHT. AND THE SERVICE STABILITRAC LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT I NEED A RACK AND PINION. I REALLY THINK THE IGNITION SWITCH SHOULD BE RECALLED. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT MY VEHICLE WAS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. UPDATED 09/15/15*LJ
OUR SUV HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SO MANY TIMES FOR STABILITY TRAC CONTROL ELECTRICAL WINDOW SWITCH ,TWO STEERING COLUMNS OUT SIDE TEMP READING, NEW SHOCK,NEW CONVERTERS. *TR
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
NHTSA source checks for this vehicle year
Checks are recorded separately for each dataset, not for the whole page. Dates use UTC. A missing check date does not mean no records exist.
Vehicle import recorded: Apr 28, 2026. This is the stored import date, not confirmation that every source was successfully refreshed.
