Additionally, the mechanic informed the contact that the alignment had failed due to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The used car dealer where the vehicle was purchased was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 271,000.
Recurring System Problems: My vehicle continues to exhibit intermittent system failures, causing unpredictable and potentially dangerous driving conditions. These issues have included: engine stalling, braking issues, electronic system malfunctions].
There are several incidents reported regarding ongoing assessment with GMC interplay activity I have noticed this have become a dangerous drive ability inside acceleration controls Governor sets whiling driving engine play transmission shifts this have gone beyond everyday practices during drive times this have been very noticeable during anyone time RPM gauges constantly disrupted radio functions remote controls are at play many problems are being serious illegal assessed during drive compulsive fuel guagement.I have been placed at dangerous risk by interplay noticability. Now slight tick sounds after full services sparkplug and wire as tuneup oil changes fuel services and coolant same recurring problems continued after serviced alignment services.controls are very strong
Numerous difficulties have arisen during the process of driving on multiple occasions. The tablet/Radio continues to reset, and the traction control sensor light continues to illuminate. I have communicated with the GMC service center on several occasions, and each time, no issues were found. During an oil change at another dealership, no service recommendations were mentioned, yet a list of offset services was listed on Mopar. As I continued to drive, I noticed that the speed controls were limiting speeds, necessitating self-serviced accelerated drives. This has been ongoing for some time while driving and has required ongoing fuel adjustments. I have received tune-up services, coolant services, fuel services, wheel balancing, and several alignments, which have recently caused significant inconvenience. Routine maintenance has been performed, and the RPM gauge remains constant during operation. Make a unsafe drive.
Dash is cracking badly on its own. Is cracking also where airbag is held. Pieces can fly as projectiles and cause bodily harm when airbag deploys.
There have been several signal within system to have beyond service diagnostic and this have gone through many GMC SERVICE CENTERS EVERY TIME I HAVE SERVICE ARE NO ISSUES TO PROVIDE EVERY TIME AFTER THERE ARE MANY CONTINUED ISSUES ARISE. DEACTIVATIONS ARE OCCURRING MORE FREQUENT THAN BEFORE PURCHASE.CONSTANT PLAY WITH COMPUTER SYSTEM.
I am writing to express my concerns and frustrations regarding the recurring issues with my vehicle despite multiple service appointments at Classic GMC Arlington. Despite numerous attempts to address these problems, I continue to experience issues with Continuity of service and performance Fueling system and coolant system problems (twice in six months) Stabilizer link light illumination during startup RPM acceleration while slowing down or stopping Ticking sound from the engine. Each time I bring my vehicle in for service, I am told that there are no issues with the performance, idle, or spark plugs, despite having recently received a full service tune-up. I suspect that there may be intentional damage or tampering with my vehicle, which is causing these persistent problems.I have not had any prior issues or service lights illuminated before, and there were no incidents reported by the previous owners. I believe there may be fraudulent activity involving the manufacturer and service providers. schedule a thorough inspection and diagnosis to address these recurring issues.
Cracked dash. Very weak
GMC shuts down while driving. Almost caused 2 accidents. Then it starts back up. Very dangerous!!!
Engine coolant is usually water–based, and may also be oil. A three–valve–per–cylinder was originally slated for the LS7, and was abandoned imputable to design complexities. E85 ethanol should is an understatement to the ‘war on fossil fuels.’ The L98 is a modified version of the L76, with increased power and reduced redundant hardware. A Vee engine is common configurations of internal combustion consisting of two cylinder banks connected to a common crankshaft.
We were driving on the freeway and our sunroof unexpectedly exploded. I didn't see any rock or object. It caught us all off guard.
Front dash is cracking by air bag compartment and vents.
When attempting to install car seats on the 3rd row, the seat belts do not remain locked after pulled all the way out. Pulling all the way out should activate the ALR, but it does not. I am unable to seat belt install on my 3rd row which is required when a child is over 40lbs.
the towing brakes system fails every day, the blind spot warning fails with every rain day, dashboard is cracking and falling apart, the Crome rims provided by gm the Crome is peeling off and cause loss of air daily
R and R shifter cables needed fixed exhaust needed fix brakes needed fixed. Still need air conditioning fixed was told the hoses are all cut this is how the sold us the Yukon. I took it back twice and they would not fix it. I have tried calling and talking to people to see what to do. Could you please help me.we used all our money for down payment at time.
Crack in dashboard at the passenger airbag location.
I, like thousands of other GMC owners have been frustrated to no end, having to deal with a cracked and highly unsafe vehicle dashboard. I own a 2011 GMC Yukon and my dashboard has cracked so bad, that it’s not only aesthetically unappealing but it poses a grave danger to myself and all passengers inside. If I were to be involved in an accident and the airbag deploy, it would send shards of hard sharp plastic through our faces. You can imagine how much pressure would be behind those sharp pieces as they embed into someone’s face. GMC owes it to its consumers to recall these dashboards and make it right. I feel GMC is intentionally and wrecklessly placing my family in danger by blatantly refusing to recall this obvious problem. As an American consumer, can you help me with this please? Thank you
Keep getting traction control and stability issue warnings along with reduced engine power. Idles up and down and rough Car was parked haven’t moved
Dash board is cracking in multiple spots. Have contacted GMC multiple times over the years to get it fixed. GMC will not fix or replace even though I have been having the same problem since 2014-2015. New cracks keep appearing.
2011 GMC YUKON. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO TAKATA AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER REFUSED TO HONOR THE RECALL DUE TO THE VEHICLE'S AGE.
The contact owns a 2011 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that while driving at 60-65 MPH, the check engine warning light, the ABS warning light, the emergency parking brake warning light, the stability tract warning light, the warning indicator “Service Brake System” and other unknown warning lights illuminated. The brake pedal was depressed but felt rigid and failed to respond. The contact depressed the brake pedal with more pressure, but it hesitated to respond, causing 40 feet in stopping distance delay. The contact continued to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the EBCM module, the BPCM module and the valve ABS unit needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 131,814.

MY 5TH CYLINDER EXPLODED. I HAD A P0305 CODE FOR 5TH CYLINDER MISFIRE, TOOK INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPLACED THE COIL PACK ON THAT CYLINDER ON 10/20/2020 AND 01/17/2021 THE 5TH CYLINDER EXPLODED CAUSE CHUNKS OF METAL TO BE THROWN THROUGH THE SIDE AND CAUSE A CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. IT WAS STATIONARY IN A PARKING LOT BUT I WAS JUST ABOUT TO PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE TO DRIVE WHEN I HEAR A NOISE AND SHUT THE CAR OFF. UPON FURTHER RESEARCH THERE IS CURRENTLY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE GM FOR THE HIGH FAILURE RATE OF 2010-2014 YEARS FOR VEHICLES THAT USED THE 5.3LITER ENGINES; THE 6.2 LITER ENGINE, THE ONE IN MY VEHICLE, WAS MANUFACTURED IN THE SAME PLANT AS THE 5.3 LITER. GM FAILED TO DISCLOSE TO THE PUBLIC OF THE KNOWN DEFECT TO THE ENGINES.
DASH CRACKED
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2011 GMC YUKON FROM MY PARENTS. THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS. THIS VEHICLE WAS KEPT UNDER THIER CARPORT AND NOT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE DASHBOARD HAS MULITPLE CRACKS. MOST CONCERNING IS THE CRACKS NEAR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. WHAT IF I WERE IN AN ACCIDENT, THE DASHBOARD COULD BECOME SHRAPNEL IMPALING MYSELF OR MY PASSENGER. ALSO THE DEFECTIVE DASHBOARD COULD SPLINTER AND PUNCTURE THE AIRBAG MAKING THEM INEFFECTIVE. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND EVEN LAWSUITS. I AM APPALLED TO KNOW YOU AND GMC ARE AWARE OF THE RISKS OF THE CRACKED DASHBOARD CAUSING GREAT BODILY HARM OR DEATH. YOU AND GMC HAVE DONE NOTHING TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. I HAVE A 2002 HONDA ACCORD THAT SITS IN THE SUN AND THE DASHBOARD IS IN PERFECT CONDITION.
THE DASHBOARD HAS SEVERELY CRACKED AND COULD CAUSE HARMFUL PLASTIC TO SHOOT TOWARDS PASSENGER IF THE AIRBAG IS DEPLOYED. THIS ALSO CAUSES THE INTERIOR TO MAKE LOUD DASH SOUNDS WHILE DRIVING AFFECTING THE EXPERIENCE OF THE DRIVE.
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON XL. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE STARTING VEHICLE, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DETECTED AN ABNORMAL BURNING ODOR IN VEHICLE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V381000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT STATED THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED YATES BUICK GMC 13845 W TEST DR, GOODYEAR, AZ 85338 (480) 795-7563 WHO STATED THE REMEDY PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
HAVING AN ONGOING ISSUE WHILE DRIVING. I'VE BEN ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE RAIN AND SNOW GOING 65-70 MPH AS WELL AS DRY PAVEMENT. ALL OF A SUDDEN MY DASHBOARD WILL LIGHT UP SAYING SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, BRAKE SYSTEM, ABS , PARK ASSIST OFF AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS UP AND BLINKS . I WILL LOOSE MY BRAKES I THEN HAVE TO PUMP MY BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES TO GET TO EVEN SLOW DOWN OR STOP . IT'S ALSO HAPPENED WHEN I AM DRIVING DOWN A RESIDENTIAL STREET. WHEN I PULL OVER TURN THE TRUCK OFF AND GOES BACK TO NORMAL FOR A SHORT DISTANCE. WEATHER DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A FACTOR OR SPEED. TAKEN VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY DON'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. HAD THEM REPLACE BEARINGS AS WELL AS SPEED SENSORS AND IT IS STILL HAPPENING. AND I HAD A CODE COME UP FOR CYLINDER MISFIRE AND KNOCK SENSOR. THEN TAKE IT GARAGE AND NOTHING IS WRONG.
DASH IS CRACKED NEXT TO THE AIR BAG TOWARD THE WINDSHIELD AND IS DROPPED DOWN. AFRAID IF IT KEEPS DROPPING DOWN OR IS BUMPED HARD WILL SET THE AIR BAG OFF. IF THE AIR BAG GOES OFF THE DASH COULD SHATTER CAUSING DAMAGE TO WHOEVER IS IN THE VEHICLE. AFRAID IT BEING NEXT TO THE AIR BAG.
THE CHROME MAGS ON MY TIRES/VEHICLE WEAR DOWN AT THE TIRE LINE CAUSING MY TIRES TO LOSE AIR. THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. ALTHOUGH I WILL RECORD LAST OCCURRENCE, THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES IN PAST 5 YEARS RESULTING IN THE NEED FOR REPAIR.
THE DASHBOARD HAS SPONTANEOUSLY CRACKED IN TWO LOCATIONS AFTER SITTING IN OUR GARAGE. A 6" CRACK HAS NO FORMED OVER THE CURVED INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY ON DRIVER SIDE AND A 1" CRACK HAS OCCURRED NEAR THE AIR BAG COVER CORNER ON PASSENGER SIDE. THESE CRACKS ARE SIMILAR IN LOCATION AND SIZE TO OTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED ON GMC YUKONS. STARTED NOTICING THE CRACK IN AUGUST OF 2020. I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL ON PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG.
I have replaced the battery and alternator. My door locks keep locking and unlocking on the own while driving, all my electrical in my car dim and keep resetting, my gauges are going all over the place. My car will turn itself off. While stopped at a red light, it seems to want to go on its own. While not running, I get in to leave, and my key at times don’t want to turn over. Then at times I try to start it and it will tell me theft control and won’t crank. When I’m out of my vehicle at home, my car will lock itself when the setting is turned off. The problem has been going on for a year but only getting worse now.
DASHBOARD CRACKED ON DRIVER'S SIDE AND PASSENGER AIRBAG. *TR
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HWY ON APPROXIMATELY 04/08/2020 I HEARD A LOUD POP AND THEN A TICKING SOUND. I PULLED OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO LOOK AT THE MOTOR TO FIND THAT 4 OF MY EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLTS WERE BROKEN OFF. BOTH OF THE FRONT AND REAR BOLTS ON BOTH MANIFOLDS WERE MISSING AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE EXHAUST PORT WAS LEAKING. AFTER TAKING IT TO A SHOP TO BE LOOKED AT, THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH GM V8 ENGINES AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS. THIS ISSUE COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT IF SOMEONE GETS OUT OF THEIR VEHICLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THEY OR ANOTHER OPERATOR ISN'T PAYING ATTENTION, SOMEONE COULD GET RUN OVER. I DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES AS MY SUV IS IN THE SHOP BEING REPAIRED.
VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. NO WARNING SIGNALS AND HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF THE DAY. SPEED WAS 70 MPH
I WAS DRIVING WITH MY VEHICLE IN AUTO 4WD, BECAUSE WE HAD ICY ROADS. MY VEHICLES REAR DRIVE SLIPPED ON SOME ICE AND THEN I GOT A MESSAGE INDICATING MY STABILIZER SYSTEM WAS NEEDING WORK, THEN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (INSTRUMENTATION DASH) STARTED TO FLASH ON AND OFF. I PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF MY VEHICLE AND THEN TRIED TO RESTART IT AND IT WOULD NOT START. I TRIED A 2ND TIME AND IT STARTED, PUT IT IN GEAR AND STARTED BACK OUT ON THE ROAD. MY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED TO GO CRAZY ALL OF THE SUDDEN, ALL THE LIGHTS STARTED TO FLASH, MY POWER DOORS STARTED TO LOCK AND UNLOCK SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE ENGINE STARTED TO ACCELERATE ITS RPM'S, AND DOWN/UP SHIFTING MY GEARS, MY DASH BOARD INSTRUMENTS STARTED FLASHING, HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING FAN WAS SPEEDING UP AND SLOWING DOWN, THEN TURNING ON AND OFF. I THOUGHT MY VEHICLE WAS POSSESSED BY A DEMON REALLY PUTTING A SCARE IN ME. I WAS SCARED THAT IT WAS GOING TO ACCELERATE AND I WAS NOT IN CONTROL AT ALL, SO I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF. IT WOULD NOT RESTART ONCE AGAIN, ON MY 3RD ATTEMPT IT STARTED. I PUT IT IN GEAR AND IT WENT GOOD. I THINK THE INSTRUMENTATION FLASHED MAYBE ONE OR TWO TIMES, BUT OVERALL IT WAS DRIVING, THANK GOD, BECAUSE IS WAS COLD OUT AND I WAS IN A RURAL AREA. FOUR DAYS LATER I DROVE MY VEHICLE TO WORK, WENT OUT TO TAKE IT TO LUNCH AND IT WOULD NOT START, NOTHING WOULD WORK, COMPLETELY DEAD. I HAD IT TOWED TO SHOTTENKIRK CHEVROLET IN QUINCY, IL, WHICH IS WHERE IT IS AWAITING THE DIAGNOSTIC REPORT. 1/16/2020. I CANNOT TELL YOU ENOUGH, THE WHOLE ORDEAL SCARED THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME.
VEHICLE STOPPED FOR TRAFFIC LIGHT ON A CITY STREET INTERSECTION, WOULD NOT PROGRESS. HAD TO BE TOWED. TRANSMISSION WENT OUT & WERE TOLD THAT THIS MODEL, YEAR AND ENGINE HAD A FAULTY TRANSMISSION COMPUTER WHICH LED TO INTERNAL PUMP FAILURE, AFFECTING PERFORMANCE OF TORQUE CONVERTER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED HE NOTICED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS FRACTURED IN FRONT OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND NEAR THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
DASHBOARD IS CRACKING AND WILL POSSIBLY CUT AIRBAG OR DRIVER IN A CRASH. PLASTIC IS BRITTLE AND COULD SHATTER. SUSPENSION HAS POOR DAMPENING. TRUCK WAS REPAIRED SEVERAL TIMES BY DEALER ONLY TO FAIL SOON AFTER REPAIRS. TRUCK BOUNCES OVER SHARP BUMPS AND BECOMES DANGEROUS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. TRANSMISSION SHUDDERS AND SHAKES
THE UPPER DASH PANEL CRACKED. THERE IS A LARGE CRACK IN THE CURVED PORTION OF THE DASH ABOVE THE STEERING WHEEL AND GAUGES. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN SUBJECT TO ANY EXTREME TEMPERATURE CHANGES - IT IS ALWAYS PARKED INSIDE A GARAGE. I WENT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AFTER IT HAD BEEN SITTING UNUSED FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOTICED THE CRACK RIGHT AWAY AS IT IS VERY NOTICEABLE. NOW, WHEN DRIVING THERE IS A VERY AUDIBLE RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM THE DASH. ASIDE FROM THIS BEING AESTHETICALLY AND AUDIBLY HIDEOUS, I AM WORRIED THAT THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. IF THE VEHICLE WERE TO BE INVOLVED IN A CRASH THE CRACKED PIECES OF THE DASH COULD MORE EASILY INJURE SOMEONE. I ALSO FEAR THE CRACKED PIECES THAT ARE RATTLING INSIDE THE DASH COULD PUNCTURE THE AIRBAGS AND RENDER THEM USELESS IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING FLAW. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND CARE THIS VEHICLE RECEIVES.
As per Tread Act that confirms reimbursement for recalled items, I replaced the Takata airbag on 09/18/2019 after a recall issue by NHTSA, but prior to GMC manufacture initiating the repair. General Motors refused to reimburse the cost of the replacement of the airbag. Under Tread Act the manufacturer is required to reimburse any repair prior to actual recall.
A CRACK APPEARED ON THE FRONT DASH NEXT TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND CRACKED OVERNIGHT. I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE AIRBAG WORKING PROPERLY.
MY YUKON'S DASH IS CRACKED IN SEVERAL PLACES, SOME EXTENDING 14 INCHES INTERFERING WITH THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. THE SECOND LARGE CRACK IS LOCATED ABOVE AND BEHIND THE STEERING WHEEL ON THE DASHBOARD AS WELL. NOTHING WAS DROPPED OR ANYWAY I OR MY FAMILY CRACKED IT. AFTER RESEARCHING, THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH MY MAKE MODEL AND YEAR. I BELIEVE GM SHOULD OWN THIS DEFECT AND PROTECT ITS LOYAL DRIVERS AND CONSUMERS, RATHER THAN WAIT AND SEE IF AN AIRBAG DOESN'T DEPLOY PROPERLY, GOD FORBID, RISKING THE LIVES OF INNOCENTS. I SERVED MY COUNTRY IN IRAQ BECAUSE I CHOSE TO, GM CAN CHOOSE TO DEFEND ITS CONSUMERS AS WELL. EVEN A DISCOUNT ON REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS I KNOW PEOPLE JUST EXPECT EVERYTHING TO BE GIVEN TO THEM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
THERE HAS BEEN NO INCIDENT AS YET INVOLVING THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, FOR EIGHT YEARS THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN LOCATED IN A GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF HIGH HUMIDITY AND TEMPS WHICH IS A FACTOR OF INSTABILITY WITH THE TAKATA AIRBAGS. WE HAVE TRIED, UNSUCCESSFULLY, TO GET THE AIRBAGS REPLACED BY OUR LOCAL GM DEALERSHIP.WE ARE FILING THIS COMPLAINT IN THE HOPE OF GETTING NHTSA TO ORDER GM TO DO THE RESPONSIBLE ACT OF REPLACING AIRBAGS IN AFFECTED VEHICLES BEFORE ANY MORE INJURIES HAPPEN.
BOTH BRAKE LIGHTS NO LONGER WORK. BUT IT'S NOT THE BULBS OR THE FUSES. THOSE ARE GOOD.
ONE WEEK AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I BROKE DOWN DUE TO AN OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT I BROKE DOWN (STALLED OUT IN THE ROAD) DUE TO 2 LIFTERS COLLAPSING AND THE CAMSHAFT BEING DAMAGED. AFTER REPLACING ALL LIFTERS, THE CAMSHAFT, SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES, AS WELL AS ANOTHER OIL PRESSURE SENSOR JUST IN CASE THE OTHER ONE WAS BAD I STILL HAVE LOW OIL PRESSURE. THIS COST $3,000.00! I LEFT THE SHOP AND BROKE DOWN ON MY WAY HOME WITH A FLASHING ENGINE LIGHT AND THE STABILITRAK LIGHT AND MESSAGE FLASHING. IT SHOOK SO HARD I THOUGHT IT WOULD EXPLODE IN THE ROAD AND THEN STALLED OUT! IT WAS TOWED BACK TO THE SHOP WHERE IT CONTINUES TO SIT. ITS BEEN THERE 3 WEEKS. ITS BEEN AT THE SHOP LONGER THAN I'VE GOTTEN TO DRIVE IT. AFTER GOOGLING WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM IT APPEARS THIS IS NOT UNCOMMON AND GMC/CHEVROLET IS WELL AWARE OF THE FAULTY ENGINE. THOUSANDS OF POSTS ARE ON DIFFERENT SITES COMPLAINING HOW EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE PUT THEIR VEHICLE IN THE SHOP AND HAD THE REPAIRS DONE, THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE ENGINE THAT CAUSING THE ISSUES AGAIN! THE MANUFACTURER IS WELL AWARE THEY ARE PUTTING LIVES AT RISK REPEATEDLY AND CAUSING FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS FOR THE CONSUMER BUT IT IS OBVIOUS THEY ARE CONCERNED ONLY ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE AND NOT LIVES.
CRACK IN DASHBOARD ON TOP OF AIRBAG
