ENGINE USES TWO TO THREE QUARTS OF OIL BETWEEN OIL CHANGES. THE PROBLEM STARTED AROUND 60,000 MILES. THE CHECK OIL LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON. THE ENGINE WILL KNOCK WHEN STARTING WHEN THE OIL IS LOW.
WHILE DRIVING, HEADLIGHTS IN NORMAL POSITION DIM TO POINT OF NOT BEING SAFE TO SEE AND THEN THEY FLICKER TO BEING NORMAL LOW BEAMS AGAIN. THIS PROCESS OCCURS AT SPEEDS FROM 0-70 AND OCCURS 2-3 TIMES A MINUTE. THIS ALSO OCCURS WHEN BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE ON. PLEASE PRESSURE HONDA TO FIX THIS VERY WELL KNOWN AND IGNORED PROBLEM BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. WHAT DOES IT TAKE? FORUMS ALL OVER INTERNET WITH SAME COMPLAINS. NOT ISOLATED EVENTS !!! *TR
I HAVE A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE THE CAR WAS PARKED, BUT RUNNING, THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WAS SHUT SLIGHTLY HARDER THAN NORMAL, AND THE SIDE CURTAIN AND SEAT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ONLY. THERE WAS NOT A SIDE COLLISION OR EVIDENCE THAT THE CAR WAS HIT. I TOOK IT TO GILLMAN HONDA IN HOUSTON TX AND PAID $125 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THEY SAID THE SENSOR FOR THE SIDE AIRBAG WENT OFF (CODE F4-11) AND IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I MADE A CLAIM WITH HONDA USA. AN INSPECTOR CAME AND CLAIMED HE NOTICED PREVIOUS DAMAGE (SCRAPES) TO THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE CAR AND EVEN THOUGH THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY THEN, THAT MAY HAVE CAUSED IT. I TOLD THEM MY CONCERN IS THAT THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED SO SENSITIVELY AND I HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD CHILD. I DON'T WANT HIM TO GET INJURED. HOW CAN I ENSURE IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. THEY RESPONDED THE REASON THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WAS INCONCLUSIVE AND IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED. *TR
PASSENGER AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT COMES ON INTERMENTLY WHILE DRIVE CAR . HAD HONDA CHECK THE ISSUE OUT THEY SAID WOULD COST APPROX. $1000 TO REPAIR. READ ARTICLE IN LOCAL NEWS PAPER AUG 22,2015 THAT NHTSA IS INVESTIGATING DEFECT THAT COULD PREVENT AIRBAGS FROM DEPLOYING. WE SPENT SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS TO HAVE THIS ISSUE FIXED AT A LOCAL GARAGE. WERE DOS THIS ISSUE CURRENTLY STAND?.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SAFETY RESTRAINT WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COMPUTER MODULE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 111,000.
2208 HONDA ACCORD, NEVER BEEN IN THE ACCIDENT, SRS STAY ON AND THE OFF (PASSENGER AIR BAG ON). TOOK THE HONDA DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THE SRS UNIT DEFECTED. AND WILL COST ME $500 . I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN ANY ACCIDENT. I THINK HONDA SHOULD COVER THIS SAFETY DEVICE UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO START AND AN ABNORMAL NOISE WAS HEARD WHEN SHIFTING GEARS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE VTC ACTUATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
STARTED GETTING A RED LIGHT WITH SEAT BELTS SIGN. CHECKED IN THE MANUAL - SHOULD TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND GET IT REPAIRED. ACCORDING TO THE DEALER THE SRS AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.IF THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT - THE BAGS WILL NOT OPERATE - WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE AIR BAG SAFETY WILL BE IN VAIN. THE REPAIR COST IS AROUND $460. I SAW LOTS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE ON THE INTERNET FOR 2008 HONDA ACCORD. HOPE THE DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION WILL LOOK INTO IT AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. *TR
AIRBAG PASSENGER LIGHT KEPT STAYING ON LONGER AND LONGER, EVENTUALLY TURNS OFF. AT 114,XX LIGHT STAYED ON THEN SOON AFTER AIRBAG LIGHT INDICATOR ON DASH WAS ILLUMINATED. THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS ON THE VEHICLE. NO REPAIRS OR MODIFICATIONS TO AFFECT SYSTEM. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DEALER SINCE IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY BY 3 MONTHS. I DID TELL THEM ABOUT THE INTERMITTENT ISSUES BUT ASSUMED ALL WAS WELL. THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC THAT TOOK WELL OVER 4 HOURS TO ISOLATE THE POSSIBLE ISSUE. DEALER'S RESPONSE; AFTER PIN TESTING FUSE BOX FOUND BAD PSS FUSE/ RELAY BOX. WAS TOLD TO SIGN A WAIVER TO DRIVE MY OWN VEHICLE OUT THE LOT. THE ENTIRE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS DOWN AND WILL NOT WORK UNTIL REPAIRED. I WAS IN SHOCK TO KNOW THAT IF I HAD AN ACCIDENT MY FAMILY AND I COULD BE IN GRAVE DANGER, THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG IT COULD OF NOT BEEN WORKING. I CALLED HONDA AMERICA TO COMPLAIN CASE# N012014-10-0900059. THEY SAID THE CAR IS TOO OLD AND OUT OF WARRANTY FOR THEM TO COVER THE REPAIR. I HAVE SINCE PARKED THE CAR AND HAVE'NT DRIVEN IT SINCE. THIS IS OUR 7TH HONDA AND NEVER WOULD EXPECT THIS TYPE OF SERVICE OR RELIABILITY ON THIS VEHICLE. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED ENGINE OIL LEAKING ONTO THE SPARK PLUGS. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE SPARK PLUGS NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO THE DEALER (MEYER HONDA, 1268 CENTRAL PARK DR, O'FALLON, IL 62269, (618) 622-0588), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED EVERY 30,000 MILES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 173,000.
I WAS PARKED, SOMEONE GOT OUT OF MY PASSENGER SIDE FRONT DOOR. AFTER SHUTTING THE DOOR, ALL OF MY PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED, INCLUDING THE PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG. *TR
I PURCHASED A USED 2008 HONDA ACCORD EX-L 4 CYLINDER. UNKNOWN AT THE TIME THAT THESE SPECIFIC MODEL CARS HAVE A HISTORY OF EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. ALTHOUGH A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT COVERED THE V-6 MODELS THE 4 CYLINDER MODELS WERE NOT. AFTER PURCHASING BEFORE I EVEN PUT 2,000 MILES ON VEHICLE IT WAS ALMOST OUT OF OIL WITH NO SIGNS OF LEAKING. FINALLY TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP AND HAD OIL CONSUMPTION TEST DONE IN AUGUST 2015. THEY DECIDED THE PISTON RINGS WERE BAD. THEY DID GIVE ME A 10% DISCOUNT ON THE REPAIRS. SHORTLY AFTERWARDS I RECEIVED A WARRANTY EXTENSION FOR 2008-2011 HONDA ACCORDS FOR 8 YEARS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE DATE OR 125,00 MILES. WHEN PURCHASED IT HAD 135,000 AND AT TIME OF REPAIR 150,000. I TRIED CALLING DEALERSHIP TO COMPLAIN SINCE HONDA NEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM LONG BEFORE THE EXTENSION SINCE THEY ISSUED A SERVICE BULLETIN 12-087, 2012. THIS IS MY SECOND HONDA I HAVE OWNED AND PROBABLY WILL BE THE LAST IF THEY DO NOT COVER MY REPAIR BILL OF $1727.75. IT IS SAD THAT A CAR COMPANY THAT MAKES A FAULTY CAR TO TAKE THREE YEARS TO ISSUE A WARRANTY EXTENSION THAT PROBABLY HAS ABOUT 50% OF VEHICLES AFFECTED THAT DO NOT MEET THE MILEAGE CRITERIA. HONDA SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL. I AM A WORKING MAN WITH A FAMILY AND CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY A NEW CAR WITH LESS THAN A 100,00 MILES AND THEN HAVE A $1727.75 REPAIR BILL THAT I HAD TO MAX A CREDIT CARD OUT ON, NOT TO MENTION THE EXTRA MONEY SPENT ADDING OIL EVERY 1,000 MILES BEFORE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. IF HONDA CARES ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT THEY SHOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE NOT ISSUE AN EXTENSION AFTER MOST OF THE CARS ARE OVER THE CRITERIA FOR THE WARRANTY EXTENSION. I WILL BE SUBMITTING MY PAPERWORK TO SEE IF THEY WILL RESOLVE MY CASE. I SURELY HOPE SO. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER HONDA AFTER READING ALL THE COMPLAINTS AND THE CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

MY HUSBAND AND I ALONG WITH MY TWO DAUGHTERS GOT IN OUR 2008 HONDA ACCORD ON MONDAY AFTERNOON, MY HUSBAND WAS THE LAST ONE IN. HE GOT IN THE FRONT PASSENGERS SIDE SEAT AND WHEN HE SHUT THE DOOR THE SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED! MY OLDEST DAUGHTER WAS IN THE SEAT BEHIND HIM AND WHEN THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IT HIT HER IN THE FACE CAUSING BURN MARKS ON HER FACE AND NECK AND ALSO SHE HAS SOME LOSS OF HEARING IN HER RIGHT EAR AND A CONSTANT RINGING IN HER EAR! WE CONTACTED OUR INSURANCE COMPANY THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP US! WE THEN CONTACTED OUR LOCAL HONDA DEALER WHERE WE PURCHASED THE CAR AND THEY SAID SORRY NO RECALL ON YOUR CAR AND ITS NOT UNDER WARRANTY BUT WHEN I EXPLAINED MY DAUGHTER WAS INJURED THEIR ATTITUDE CHANGED AND WERE TOLD TO CALL AMERICAN HONDA AND TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED! AT THIS POINT WE WERE TOLD TO DRIVE THE CAR TO OUR LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP FOR THEM TO RUN TESTS ON THE CAR TO SEE WHY THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED! MY FAMILY AND I HAD WATCHED FIRE WORKS ON THE 4TH OF JULY WHEN THEY WERE OVER WE ALL GOT IN THE CAR I WAS THE LAST TO ENTER WHEN I CLOSED MY CAR DOOR ALL THE AIR BAGS ON THE WHOLE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR DEPLOYED IN THE PARKING LOT IN WITCH HE HAD PARKED TO WATCH THE FIRE WORKS. *TR
THE HONDA ACCORD 2008 MODEL STARTED TO CLUNK HEAVILY IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION WHEN THE WEATHER WAS HOT, ANYTHING ABOVE 85 DEGREES. WHEN THE FRONT END WAS LIFTED OR WEATHER COOLED, THE SOUND WENT AWAY. STEERING BECAME SLOPPY AND FELT UNSAFE. THIS SUMMER WHEN WEATHER WAS VERY HOT, THE CLUNK BECAME VERY LOUD AND METAL SCRAPING ON METAL WAS APPARENT, ESPECIALLY ON START, STOP AND ANY BUMPS. HONDA ISSUED A SERVICE BULLETIN DATED SEP. 17, 2013, BULLETIN 12-082 THAT DESCRIBES THIS PROBLEM AND ATTRIBUTES IT TO BALL JOINTS THAT BECOME UNLUBRICATED IN HIGH AMBIENT TEMPERATURES. OF COURSE METAL ON METAL CONTACT WITHOUT LUBRICATION IN THE BALL JOINT QUICKLY DESTROYS THE BALL JOINT, AFFECTS STEERING ADVERSELY, FATIGUES THE METAL AND COULD LEAD TO BREAKAGE. I ATTEMPTED TO HAVE HONDA NORTH AMERICA PAY FOR THE REPAIR OF THIS PART THAT THEY ACKNOWLEDGE IS DEFECTIVE IN THEIR SERVICE BULLETIN 12-082, BUT THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO PAY FOR THE COMPLETE REPAIR. I HAD NEW BALL JOINTS PUT ON AND IT STEERS WELL AND CLUNKING IS GONE. WAS NOT WILLING TO LET IT GO ON LONGER AND RISK BREAKAGE AT DETRIMENT TO MYSELF AND FAMILY. THIS IS A PART THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED/REPAIRED AT HONDA'S EXPENSE AND POSES A SAFETY RISK.

THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED HOWEVER THE FAILURE RECURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V395000 (POWER TRAIN) WAS NOT VALID. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.

UPDATED 09/22/14*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER FOUND TWO IMPACT MARKS ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE AND STATES THAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. THE IMPACT THAT CAUSED THE MARKS OCCURRED ON 5/16/2014. THE DRIVER HIT A DOUBLE CURB. THE AIR BAG SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED ON 6/29/14. UPDATED 2/11/2015*JS

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

PURCHASED A SET OF FOUR NEW HANKOOK VENTUS V12 EVO TIRES BACK IN JUNE 2013. I DRIVE VERY LITTLE- HAVE ONLY 30K IN MY '08 VEHICLE. I WAS PLANNING A ROAD TRIP THIS MONTH & OF COURSE DID ALL THAT WAS NECESSARY INCLUDING A VEHICLE CHECKUP. AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 2 HOURS ON THE HIGHWAY (W/ A BREAK AFTER AN HOUR, WHICH INCLUDED ANOTHER VEHICLE CHECKUP), THE STEERING WHEEL STARTING SHAKING VIOLENTLY & I SAW SMOKE COMING FROM THE SIDE OF MY CAR THROUGH MY SIDE VIEW MIRROR. PULLED OVER TO FIND THAT ONE OF MY TIRES WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN OUT & THE SIDE WALL WAS TORN. I WAS IN COMPLETE SHOCK. THESE WERE NEW TIRES- ONLY A YEAR OLD, WITH CONSIDERABLE TREAD ON THEM. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR IT TO GET BLOWN OUT LIKE THIS. CALLED AAA FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE & THEY HAD TO PUT A SPARE TIRE ON. I WAS HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY FROM HOME & FROM MY DESTINATION & THERE WERE NO TIRE SHOPS OPEN IN THE AREA. HAD TO DRIVE CLOSE TO 100 MILES, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON AT 50 MPH TO GET TO A 24 HR TIRE SHOP. FIRST SHOP DIDN'T HAVE MY TIRE SIZE, BUT SECOND ONE DID. TIRE WAS INSPECTED & THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE OR ADVERSE OBJECTS FOUND WITH THE TIRE OTHER THAN THE SIDEWALL BEING TORN & THE TIRE BLOWN OUT. HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY FOR A NEW TIRE (THEY HAD NO USED TIRE), SINCE I WAS STILL HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY FROM HOME & MY DESTINATION, & I COULDN'T KEEP DRIVING WITH A SPARE TIRE ON. I ENDED UP PAYING A HEFTY FEE FOR THE NEW TIRE & OTHER CHARGES. I INITIALLY PAID A VERY HIGH AMOUNT, FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WERE QUALITY TIRES FROM HANKOOK, APPARENTLY I WAS VERY WRONG. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER BUY HANKOOK TIRES AGAIN. *TR
MY VEHICLE WAS HIT HEAD ON BY A PICKUP TRUCK. THE WHOLE FRONT END OF MY VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG DID DEPLOY, HOWEVER I HAVE A FIRST DEGREE AIR BAG BURN ON MY RIGHT INNER WRIST/ FOREARM. MY VEHICLE WAS DETERMINED TO BE A TOTAL LOSS. I RECEIVED A VEHICLE REPORT ON MY CAR AFTER THE ACCIDENT AND FOUND THAT THE NHTSA HAS ISSUED 1 SAFETY RELATED RECALL NOTICE ON MY VEHICLE IN THE PAST INVOLVING POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION : CONTROL MODULE. THIS RECALL BEGAN ON 7/31/2011. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON 2/1/2012. I SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD THIS VEHICLE UNTIL IT WAS INSPECTED AND REPAIRED. *JS

I PURCHASED THIS CAR LAST YEAR AND IT HAD OVER 150000, AS I CHECKED THE OIL I NOTICED IT WAS LOW I HAVE ADDED 1 QT IN BETWEEN EVERY OIL CHANGE. I HAVE NOTICED THAT I AM IN NEED OF OIL CHANGES MORE FREQUENTLY THAN IN THE PAST. HISTORICALLY, I WENT EVERY 3,000 MILES. NOW, I NOTICE THE VEHICLE GETS "SLUGGISH" AROUND 2,200-2,500 MILES. I GET AN OIL CHANGE, AND EVERYTHING IS USUALLY GOOD..... FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 2,200 MILES. THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN DAILY ALL OPEN HIGHWAY. 2 WEEKS AGO, I GOT A FULL SERVICE OIL CHANGE FROM A DEALER. ON 5/19/14 MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON, THE VSA LIGHT, AND THE (!) LIGHT. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER AND CHECKED THAT ALL HOSES WERE INTERACT, I COULD NOT HEAR ANY AIR LEAKS, ETC. I CHECKED THE OIL STICK AND IT WAS ESSENTIALLY BONE DRY! (THE ENGINE WAS WARM) NO OIL SLICKS PUDDLES IN THE DRIVEWAY, PARKING SPACES, NOTHING! I IMMEDIATELY PUT 2 QUARTS IN AT THE GAS STATION, FRESH GAS, AND THE EVERYTHING TURNED OFF! IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE BURNING OIL THAT QUICKLY? I HOPE NOT! I'LL BE MONITORING THIS CLOSELY. *TR

MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE ON CITY STREETS, THE AIR BAG LIGHT SPONTANEOUSLY CAME ON IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. CAR WAS TAKEN IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION AND I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS A SRS SYSTEM FAILURE- MEANING THE AIR BAG SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. TO REPLACE WOULD COST $487 OR I COULD OPERATE THE VEHICLE KNOWING THAT THE AIR BAGS WOULD NOT DEPLOY IF I WERE IN AN ACCIDENT. I CALLED HONDA TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS IS A SAFETY FEATURE THAT HAS FAILED AT 86,000 MILES AND SHOULD BE COVERED. I WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED AFTER 36,000 MILES. SUMMARY: THERE WAS A PREMATURE FAILURE OF THE SRS MODULE IN MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD WHICH, ACCORDING TO A LOCAL HONDA REPRESENTATIVE, RENDERS THE AIRBAGS USELESS IN A CRASH OR CAN CAUSE PREMATURE DEPLOYMENT. THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ON AS WELL AS THE ENGINE LIGHT WHICH THE DEALERSHIP MENTIONED THEY WERE BOTH RELATED. CHARGING A DIAGNOSTICS FEE WHEN I HAD ALREADY PERFORMED THE DIAGNOSTICS THROUGH WORK AND ASSOCIATED PARTNERSHIPS (FLEET MANAGEMENT PROVIDER AND MAINTENANCE VENDORS). I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET CLOSE TO $640 FOR PARTS AND LABOR. SEEMS SILLY AS THIS WAS A SAFETY RELATED SERVICE. DESPITE THE RECALL A FEW YEARS AGO, HONDA STILL IGNORES THE PROBLEM OF REAR BRAKES THAT WEAR OUT RAPIDLY AND THEREFORE REQUIRE FREQUENT REPLACEMENT. AT JUST OVER 91,000 MILES, I NOW HAVE TO SCHEDULE MY 3RD REAR BRAKE REPLACEMENT AND IT WILL BE THE SECOND TIME THAT I MUST REPLACE THE REAR ROTORS. HONDA REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEIR REAR BRAKES ARE FLAWED AND SEEM TO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO CORRECT THEM. THEY ALSO DO NOT FEEL AS THOUGH THEY SHOULD OFFER ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THEIR SUBSTANDARD REAR BRAKES. WE ARE THEREFORE FORCED INTO HIGH REAR BRAKE AND ROTOR REPLACEMENT BILLS. PERHAPS IT WAS THEIR PLAN ALL ALONG TO BILK UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS.
