VEHICLE EXPERIENCED AN ACCIDENT TO TO DRIVER FLOORMAT CAUSES THE ACELERATOR PEDAL TO STICK WHILE COMING TO A STOP; CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO CONTINUE ON TO ON ON-COMING TRAFFIC. DRIVER RECEIVER MAJOR INJURY TO RIGHT LUNGUE TO ACCIDENT. CONSUMER RECEIVED MFR. RECALL LETTER 3-4 DAYS LATERS. DEALER/ MFR.WAS NOT NOTIFIED AT THISTIME.
ACCELERATOR STICK DUE TO FLOOR MAT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. JUST RECEIVED OFFICIAL RECALL NOTICE, BUT DID NOT HEAR ANY NEWS REPORTS OF THE RECALL. *AK
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20MPH, AND WAS INVOLVED IN A SIDE COLLISION WITH A 93- FORD TRUCK, EXPLORER. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. BOTH PASSENGER AND DRIVER HIT DASH, PASSENGER'S HEAD HIT THE WINDSHIELD. VEHICLE WAS TOTALLED. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING THE ENGINE IDLED WITHOUT INDICATIONS AND THEN STARTED TO TAKE OFF. CONSUMER DEPRESSED THE BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. AK
CONSUMER'S DAUGHTER WAS HIT HEAD-ON, AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, DAUGHTER WAS SLIGHTLY INJURED. *AK

THE BUTTON ON THE EMERGENCY BRAKE STICKS. "FIXED" SEVERAL TIMES W/O SUCCESS. THE BRAKE WILL NOT ENGAGE IN THIS CONDITION AND IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD. *AK
THE REMOTE DOOR LOCKS STOPPED WORKING WHEN THE CAR HAD BEEN SITTING FOR A WEEK IN THE DRIVEWAY. APPARENTLY A "CRYSTAL" WHICH CONTROLS THIS BROKE. THERE WAS NO RESON ON MY PART WHY IT SHOULD HAVE BROKEN. I DON'T SEE WHY I SHOULD PAY $450 FOR SOMETHING THAT IS A DEFECT AND HAS BEEN FIXED NUMEROUS TIMES BY MY MECHANIC IN CIVICS OF THE SAME YEAR. ALSO, THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW HAS FAILED IN NUMEROUS CIVICS FROM 1996 ACCORDING TO MY MECHANIC, LEADING US TO BELIEVE THAT BOTH OF THESE PROBLEMS ARE DEFECTS.
WHILE ACCELERATING ON THE FREEWAY, THE ACCELATOR PEDAL STUCK. AUTO ACCELERATED TO 85 MPH UNTIL ABLE TO STICK FOOT UNDER PEDAL TO LIFT IT. UP.
WHEN AIRBAG DEPLOYED THE LEFT SLEEVE OF THE GARMENT WORN BY THE DRIVER ON THE INNER ARM AT THE WRIST IGNITED. THE DRIVER SMOTHERED THE FLAME ON THE PASSENGER SEAT TO EXTINGUISH IT. NO SERIOUS BURNS AS A RESULT, BUT A MORE FLAMMABLE GARMENT MAY HAVE CAUSED SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
I WAS DRIVING AND THE AUTO JUST STOPPED. THIS WAS FIXED AND LESS THEN 2 YEARS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPEN I WAS DRIVING AND THE ENJINE STOPPED. THE SAME THING HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE. I FIND IT UNUSUAL THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO FIX THIS UNDER ANOTHER RECALL FOR EMISSION WARRANTY , WHEN I SUBMITTED TO BE REINBURSED IT WAS DENIED. THE FIRST TIME THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE COILS AND INGINITION LOOKED AS IF IT HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE. I AM GETTING CONCERNED OVER THIS AND THE FUTURE OF THIS IGNITIONS.

WHEN DRIVING THE CAR UNDER 50 MPH THE CAR VIBRATES, THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES. DEALER CONTACTED AND CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM. *AK
CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING 45 MPH WHEN ATTEMPTING TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT BOTH DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT CAUSE, RESULTING IN OVER 3000 DOLLARS OF DAMAGE. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

FALSE DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG CAUSING INJURY TO LEFT EYE/BURN TO FACE. (QCAW)
I OWNED A 1996 HONDA CIVIC EX, BOUGHT IT NEW. I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT ON JUNE 13TH OF 1998. IT WAS CONSIDERED MY FAULT BECAUSE I PULLED OUT INTO THE PATH OF THE OTHER VEHICAL. BUT I DIDN'T, THE CAR TOOK OFF I COULD NOT GET IT TO STOP. ..I TRYED TO GET IT OUT OF THE WAY OF THE OTHER CAR. BUT WAS UNABLE TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY.WHICH ENDED UP IN AN ACCIDENT TOTALING MY CAR, AND HURTING MY BACK! I STILL TO THIS DAY SUFFER WITH MY BACK. I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THE RECALL ON MY CAR. I DON'T THINK ITS VERY FARE I'VE HAD TO SUFFER ALL THIS TIME AND WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. I WAS HIT IN THE SIDE BY A TRUCK DOING 45-50 MILES AN HOUR. MY PASSENGER AND I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED! AND IF MY CHILDERN HAD BEEN IN THE CAR THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN!!HAS TO MUCH TIME PASSED FOR ME TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? I HAD TO PAY HIGH INSURANCE PREMIUMS FOR 3 YEARS,SUFFER FROM BACK PAIN ALL THE TIME. *AK
WAS TRAVELING 30MPH, STARTED TO MAKE LEFT TURN WHEN SUDDENLY ANOTHER VEHICLE MERGED INTO LANE. THIS CAUSED HONDA TO REAREND MINIVAN. UPON IMPACT, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER SLIGHTLY INJURED. HAVE POLICE REPORT. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH HAD A DIRECT FRONTAL IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE IN WHICH THE OTHER VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. HOWEVER, CONSUMER'S AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. NO PRIOR PROBELMS WITH AIRBAGS. *AK

RECALL NOTICE SENT FOR EXHAUST MANIFOLD, DENIED DUE TO LACK OF PARTS RESULTING IN ENGINE FIRE.
WHENEVER SHOULDER BELTS ARE LOCKED, THEY WOULD LOOSEN UP. WOULD NOT STAY TIGHT. HAD CALLED DEALER & TOLD WILL NOT REPAIR UNLESS OWNER PAYS. ALSO SEAT BELT IS OUT OF WARRANTY. *AK
IN THE FIRST INCIDENT, THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN BETWEEN 60- 85 MPH AND SUDDENLY ACCELERATED UNTIL THE DRIVER STEPPED ON THE BRAKES. THE DEALER ACKNOWLWDGED THAT THE ACCELERATOR HAD STRUCK AND STATED THAT THE "CABLE" NEEDED REPLACING. DURING THE SECOND INCIDENT, THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING BETWEEN 30-45 MPH AND CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE WHILE THE DRIVER STEPPED ON THE BRAKES. THE DRIVER REACH DOWN AND PULLED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL UP TO STOP THE VEHICLE. AGAIN THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CABLE NEEDED REPALCING. *AK
ABS BRAKES FAILED.
RECALL 96V10 000/BRAKES:HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:CHECK VALVE: REPORTING AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH POOR BRAKE PERFORMANCE. DEALER/MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS ON THIS MATTER. *AK
COMPLAINT ABOUT THE MALFUNCTION ON MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW,AND THE FACT THAT THIS PROBLEM OCCURED OVER THREE TIMES WHILE UNDER HONDA WARRANTY, AND WAS NEVER RESOLVED.
BOTH HEADLIGHT GOT WATER IN THEM WHEN CAR WASHED-REPLACED SEALS AND LENSES-WARRANTY, WINDSHIELD MADE HOWLING NOISE AT FREEWAY SPEEDS-RESEALED TWICE-WARRANTY, LEFT FRONT SEAT WOULD NOT MOVE BACK AND FORTH-REPLACED TRACK-WARRANTY, DEAD BATTERY-REPLACED-WARRANTY, RT FRONT SEATBELT WOULD NOT RETRACT-INSTALLED NEW SEATBELT-WARRANTY. *AK
HAD PUT HOOD OF VEHICLE UP; SUDDENLY THE SUPPORT BRACKETS ON HOOD BROKE & HOOD COLLAPSED. HAD CAUSED A LARGE DENT IN HOOD ARE WHERE BRACKET WAS. *AK
THE DRIVER'S FLOOR MAT SLIDES UP UNDER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO GO FASTER THAN DESIRED. DEALER. SUGGESTED THAT THE OWNER PUT VELCRO ON THE MAT TO KEEP IT IN PLACE. *AK
THE HORN BUTTONS ARE TOO SMALL, AND CANNOT BE REACHED WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION AND AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY. BEFORE THE ACCIDENT THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON AND OFF. DEALER SAID THAT THERE WAS NO DEFECT IN THE AIR BAG BECAUSE THE LIGHT KEPT ON GOING ON AND OFF. *AK
ACCELERATOR PEDAL GOT STUCK AND ACCIDENT OCCURRED.
SUPPORT ROD THAT HOLDS THE HOOD UP HAS A GIVEN POINT. THE SUPPORT ROD BROKE WHICH CAUSED THE HOOD TO COLLAPSE ON SOMEONE WHO'S UP UNDER THE HOOD. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER, AND THE DEALER SAID IT WAS THE MISHANDLING OF THE PERSON WHO WAS UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. *AK
COMPUTER COMMAND CONTROL MODULE MALFUNCTIONED. IN ADDITION, ENGINE MISFIRED, CAUSING LOSS OF POWER. ENGINE CHECK LIGHT COMES ON/OFF. *AK

WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 20 MPH IN RAINY WEATHER CONSUMER PUT ON BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE SWERVED AND TURNED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD, SPINNED AROUND AND HIT THE BACK OF A ANOTHER VEHICLE, CONSUMER STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER. *AK ALSO PASSENGERS SEAT COLLASPED.*JB

FRONT DISC BRAKES FAILED, VEHICLE LOST CONTROL, RESULTING IN A CRASH/INJURIES. *AK
BOTH HEADLIGHTS HAVE LEAKS THAT ALLOW WATER TO ENTER AND ACCUMULATE INSIDE. THE LENSES FOG UP ANS SOONER OR LATER THIS MAY LEAD TO A SHORT CIRCUIT AND A POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL FIRE.
