CONSUMER COMPLAINED THAT THE BUMPER CLEARANCE FOR THE VEHICLE WAS TOO LOW. CONSUMER DROVE TO A CONCRETE STOP. WHEN PULLING AWAY, IT RIPPED THE BUMPER OFF THE VEHICLE. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, WHO SUGGESTED THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP. CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT THE REPAIR WILL HAVE TO BE PAID OUT OF POCKET. ALSO, CONSUMER WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT THEY SERVICED ABOUT 4 OR 5 OF THESE DEFECTS A WEEK. *AK
THE HANDLE THAT IS THE "SHIFTER" FOR PUTTING THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION INTO GEAR BROKE OFF! COMPLETELY CAME OFF THE STICK AND ALL THE PIECES INSIDE THE HAND HELD PIECE FELL OUT, LEAVING THE METAL ROD EXPOSED WHICH, THANK GOODNESS, I COULD PUSH IN AND STILL GET THE CAR IN GEAR. IT IS A 1999 HONDA ACCORD THAT ALSO HAS THE PROBLEM OF A PREVIOUS RECALL WHERE THE CAR WILL ROLL EVEN W/THE KEY TAKEN OUT. I LOVE MY HONDA BUT HAVING THE GEAR HANDLE COME OFF IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD AND I HAVE NO IDEA IF I DRIVE IT IF IT WILL CONTINUE TO ALLOW ME TO SHIFT IT. I WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER? VEHICLE ENGAGED CRUISE CONTROL AT 65 MPH AND VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO 90 MPH ON ITS OWN, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SLOW DOWN. BRAKES WERE APPLIED, BUT THE SPEED STILL CONTINUED UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS SHUTDOWN BEFORE PULLING OVER.*AK
199 HONDA ACCORD - THE WELD ON THE RIGHT BRACKET ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT FAILED CAUSING THE SEAT TO RECLINE BACKWARDS UNEXPECTEDLY. I AM ONLY 195 POUNDS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A SEAT FAIL IN ANY VEHICLE I'VE EVER OWNED. THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A RECALL ITEM. THE SEAT FAILURE RESULTED IN ME JERKING THE STEERING WHEEL AND TEMPORARILY LOOSING CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE. THOUGH I WASN'T HURT IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE HAD THERE BEEN ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE LANE I VEERED INTO. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE FIXED AT NOT COST TO THE OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES. *AK
I HAVE A 1999 4 CYLINDER HONDA ACCORD WITH 85,000 MILES ON IT. WHEN ACCELERATING THE TRANSMISSION HESITATES SOMETIMES. ALSO WHEN IT SHIFTS FROM 1ST TO 2ND IT SLIPS, CAUSING THE RPMS TO OVER-REV BADLY. I AM A FIRST TIME CAR BUYER AND BOUGHT A HONDA BECAUSE I FIGURED THEY WERE RELIABLE AND I WOULDNT HAVE TO SHELL OUT THE CASH FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION 6 MONTHS AFTER MY PURCHASE.*AK
I HAVE A 99 HONDA ACCORD V6 COUPE. MY TRANSMISSION STARTED HOLDING OUT GOING INTO SECOND GEAR, AND HAD A SMALL JERK. WHEN COME TO A COMPLETE STOP, IT WOULD DOWNSHIFT HARD BACK INTO 1ST GEAR. THE TRANSMISSION FINALLY GAVE UP ON THE HIGHWAY ON MY WAY TO WORK. THE TRANY WOULDNT SHIFT OUT OF SECOND GEAR, AND WHEN IT DID, IT WOULD QUICKLY SHIFT BACK DOWN, AND CAUSE THE ENGINE TO REV AT A HIGH RPM. I CALLED HONDA AND THEY SAID THEY COULDNT HELP ME. I HAD MY CAR PUT IN THE SHOP, AND MY TRANY REBUILT. COST ME $1200. I WAS READING A CHAT FORUM, AND HAVE DISCOVERED A TON OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVEING TROUBLE WITH THEIR TRANSMISSIONS IN THEIR HONDAS'!!
MY 1999 HONDA PASSPORT HAS A FAULTY FUEL GAUGE SYSTEM. IT READS LOW ALL THE TIME.*AK
VEHICLE EXHIBITS A NOTICEABLE KNOCKING NOISE WHEN FIRST STARTED UNTIL IT SUFFICIENTLY WARMS UP. USUALLY ABOUT 5 MINUTES. *JB
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON; INITIAL REVIEW O2 SENSOR ($200) PART + LABOR; FURTHER REVIEW INDICATED EXHAUST MANIFOLD WAS CRACKED, NOT WARRANTIED; COST TO RPLC MANIFOLD $500 + LABOR; AND STILL HAD TO RPLC O2 SENSOR. CRACK APPEARS TO BE A STRESS CRACK / POSSIBLE DESIGN FLAW. *AK
THE HONDA CIVIC 1999 WILL NOT PASS STATE EMISSIONS TEST NOT BECAUSE OF THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER (WHICH FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND IS COVERED NO MATTER WHAT), BUT BECAUSE OF THE OXYGEN SENSOR. HONDA CLAIMS EVEN AFTER THE WARRANTY IS UP ANY PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING EMISSIONS TEST ARE COVERED NO QUESTIONS ASKED. MY QUESTION IS WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS PIECE. MANY WHO HAVE THIS MODEL ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE EXACT PROBLEM. I HAVE PUT A LOT OF MONEY INTO THIS CAR AND IT SEEMS MORE PROBLEMS OCCUR. I WAS TOLD UNTIL I GET THE SENSOR REPLACED, I SHOULD PUT A HIGHER LEVEL OF GAS(89/93) IN THE CAR, WHICH MEANS MORE MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET. ALSO, THE CAR VIBRATES UNCONTROLLABLY AT HIGH SPEEDS AND WHILE STOPPED, IT FEELS AS IF IT IS GOING TO STALL. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THE RECALL ON THE IGNITION PIECE. HOPEFULLY, HONDA WILL FIX THAT PROBLEM. THE OXYGEN SENSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BY HONDA. *JB
(11/09/05) THE FRONT AIRBAGS MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. (THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS) *AK *SC
ENGINE SHUT DOWN WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AS WELL AS IN LOCAL TRAFFIC. IGNITION SWITCH WAS REPLACED ON A RECALL SEVERAL YEARS AGO. NO WARNING WAS GIVEN BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN. *AK

DURING A 35 MPH REAR END COLLISION, THE FRONT AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONSUMER HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED. THE CONSUMER SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION. *JB
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY VEHICLE STRUCK AN OBJECT SITTING IN THE ROAD THAT APPEARED TO BE A CARGO CARRIER TOP, AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CONSUMER STRUCK HIS HEAD ON THE VEHICLE ROOF AND SUSTAINED SPINAL INJURY. CONSUMER DID NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. HOWEVER, THE FAMILY PHYSICIAN MADE THIS DIAGNOSIS.*AK
WHILE DRIVING THE TRANSMISSION MADE A LOUD NOISE AND SHUDDERED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SHOP AND BOTH TECHNICIANS INDICTED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A REBUILT, USED OR NEW TRANSMISSION. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER BUT THEY REFUSED ANY ASSISTANCE. *AK *NM
CAR ACCIDENT; TOTAL COLLISION. THE AIR BAG NEVER DEPLOYED UPON IMPACT.
ONCE PUTTING 1999 HONDA CIVIC EX 4DR, IN PARK I AM UNABLE TO REMOVE THE CAR KEYS FROM THE IGNITION. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED TWICE IN ONE WEEK. THE ONLY WAY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEYS ARE BY, PUSHING A SCREWDRIVER DOWN THE SLOT ON THE SIDE OF THE TRASMISSION SHFTER, THE SLOT THAT IS USED TO RELEASE THE GEAR LEVER WHEN ONE WANTS TO TOW THE VEHICLE, SO SAYS WILDE SUN HONDA, IN SARASOTA,FL.*AK
PASSENGER SIDE SAFETY BELT FAILURE. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SAFETY BELT BUCKLE DOES NOT STAY LATCHED. A FORCEFULL PULL BY HAND WILL UNLATCH THE BELT FROM THE BUCKLE. HONDA DEALER IS REPLACING IT TODAY.*AK
MY O2 SENSOR FAILED 1/9/2004 WITH 80,500 MI ON MY HONDA CIVIC LX 1999. I REPLACED THE O2 SENSOR. AFTER HEARING ABOUT THE DEFECTIVE MANIFOLD, I HAD MY MANIFOLD CHECKED AND SURE ENOUGH, IT WAS CRACKED. I HAVEN'T REPLACE THE MANIFOLD BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL REASONS. THE HONDA SERVICE STATED THAT IT WILL EVENTUALLY GIVE AND WILL NEED REPLACING.
MOUSE INFESTATION OF '99 HONDA COVIC. PURCHASED CAR IN JULY 1999, FOUND MOUSE EVIDENCE WITHIN TWO MONTHS, CAUGHT MOUSE WITH TRAP. FOUND MORE EVIDENCE SUMMER 2003, SET TRAPS AND CAUGHT 10-12 MICE. TOOK CAR INTO DEALER FOR 30,000 MAINTENANCE AND TO FIX HEATER (WHICH WAS PLUGGED WITH SOMETHING). DEALER SHOP REMOVED THREE MORE MICE FROM AIR INTAKE/HEATER MOTOR AREA. WITH HANTIVIRUS FROM MICE DROPPINGS A REAL THREAT IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, SAFETY IS AN ISSUE. THE CAR WAS NEVER LEFT OPEN WHEN PARKED. DEALER CLAIMED TO HAVE FOUND GLASS IN CAR AND SUSPECTED US OF BREAKING GLASS AND LEAVING CAR EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE CRITTERS.NOT TRUE, THE MICE ARE ENTERING BY SOME ENTRANCE "NOT LOCATED BY HONDA DEALER". REPAIRMAN TOLD WIFE THAT HE HAD SEEN "LOT'S OF MICE INFESTATIONS", BUT CHANGED HIS STORY WHEN HIS BOSS CORRECTED HIM AND GAVE HIM A DIRTY LOOK. WE SUSPECT THAT THE PROBLEM MAY BE MORE WIDESPREAD THAN HONDA WILL ADMIT.*AK
TRANSMISSION VIBRATES WHEN ACCELERATING FROM STOP. THIS IS THE SECOND TRANSMISSION ON THIS CAR. THE FIRST ONE HAD BEEN REPLACED ON WARRANTY BECAUSE OF THE SAME PROBLEM. *LA
VEHICLE WAS SLUGGISH AND CONSUMING MORE GAS; A RATTLING NOISE AT ACCELERATION AFTER BEING IDLE FOR AWHILE; ACCELERATED WITH REDUCED POWER. I TOOK IT INTO THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD THE EXHAUST MANAFOLD WAS CRACKED. THE CAR IS NO LONGER MAKING THE NOISE AND IS RUNNING AS IT SHOULD, BUT THE COST TO ME WAS $620 (MOSTLY IN THE HONDA PART).
HAVE BEEN IN 3 ACCIDENTS WITH MY 99 HONDA CIVIC. AIRBAGS HAVE NEVER DEPLOYED. LAST ACCIDENT CAR WAS TOTALED, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE PUSHED IN, AXLE BENT, TRANSMISSION PUSHED BACK, DRIVER AIRBAG RELEASED 1 INCH FROM STEERING WHEEL, PASSENGER SIDE SUNK IN!!! (IMPLODE) *LA
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE WINDOW ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR EXPLODED AND SHATTERED INTO MILLIONS OF PIECES OF GLASS. SOME OF THE GLASS CUT MY HUSBAND'S (HE WAS DRIVING) FACE AND ARMS.*AK THE TEMPERATURE DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE BEEN A FACTOR, AS IT WAS ONLY 80F. SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE FRONT WINDOWS HAVE ALWAYS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEIR SEALS. WE HAVE ALWAYS EXPERIENCED A WHISTLING SOUND COMING FROM THE WINDOWS WHEN WE TRAVEL ON THE INTERSTATE. WE THINK THE POOR SEAL CONSTRUCTION MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR.
I NOTICE THE PASSENGER RIGHT FRONT WINDOW WAS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. THE WINDOW WOULD GO UP AND DOWN SLOWLY. THE HONDA MECHANIC DIAGNOSIS REPORTED THE WINDOW REGULATOR NEEDED REPLACING. TWO MONTHS LATER THE DRIVER LEFT FRONT WINDOW WOULD GO UP AND DOWN SLOWLY. LAST WEEK THE WINDOW WOULD NOT GO UP ON ITS OWN AND I HAD SOMEONE HELP PULL THE WINDOW UP. I KNOW ITS THE REGULATOR. I WANT TO KNOW IF ANY CAR OWNERS WHO OWN A 1999 4 SEDAN HONDA CIVIC ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. I'VE OWN TWO CARS PREVIOUSLY AND NEVER EXPERIENCE THE REGULATOR SHORTNING OUT AFTER 4 YEARS. I DON'T KNOW IF ANYTHING CAN BE DONE AT THIS STAGE SINCE THE CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY BUT I WANT A RECORD OF THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM I'VE EXPERIENCED WITH MY CAR.*AK
MY DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW SLOWED THEN CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP ONE RAINY DAY WHILE GOING THROUGH A TOLL BOOTH. I WAS TRYING TO CLOSE THE WINDOW. IT STOPPED HALFWAY OPEN OR SHUT DEPENDING ON YOUR POINT OF VIEW. I BROUGHT IT TO MY MECHANIC AND TOOK A PEAK WHILE HE REPAIRED IT. THE CLAMPS ATTACHED TO THE MOTORIZED TRACK, THAT HOLD THE WINDOW IN PLACE WHILE MOVING UP AND DOWN, HAD LOOSENED UP. THE SLACK HAD CAUSE THE CLAMP TO SHIFT POSITION DURING MOVEMENT AND THE WINDOW IN TURN SLID OUT OF ALIGNMENT. THIS CAUSED THE WINDOW TO JAM AGAINST THE DOOR FRAME. THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED IT WAS ALSO DURING RAINY WEATHER.
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND WITH NO WARNING VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF CAUSING CONSUMER TO PULL OVER, AND IT WILL BE HARD TO GET THE VEHICLE BACK STARTED.DEALER NOTIFIED.*AK
I ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY WINDOW REGULATOR ON MY 1999 HONDA CIVIC EX SEDAN. MY CAR WAS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD WHEN THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WENT OUT WHILE ROLLING IT DOWN AND STUCK HALFWAY. AFTER TAKING THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND LOOKING AT IT, THE PLASTIC HOLDING THE WIRES IN IT HAD SPLIT AND THE WIRES WERE RUBBING CAUSING THEM TO FRAY. MY HUSBAND SWITCHED THAT REGULATOR OVER TO THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AND THE PASSENGER OVER TO THE DRIVER SO THAT I COULD AT LEAST USE MY DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. ABOUT A YEAR LATER THAT WINDOW DID THE SAME THING. NOW I AM STUCK WITH TWO FRONT WINDOWS THAT WILL NOT ROLL DOWN. I CALLED THE DEALER TO SEE HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO FIX THEM AND THEY SAID YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE MOTOR AND EVERYTHING EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE MOTOR. IT WILL COST $265 TO REPLACE WHEN YOU INCLUDE LABOR.
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN COMING ON PERIODICALLY FOR A FEW MONTHS. I WAS INFORMED WHEN I TOOK IT TO HONDA THAT MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WANTED TO CHECK ON A SECOND OPINION JUST TO BE SAFE. WHEN DOING SO I HAVE BEEN TO 3 DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOPS THAT SPECIALIZE IN HONDA'S. EACH STATES THAT THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF REQUESTS FOR CATALYTIC CONVERTERS OVER THE PAST 8-9 MONTHS FOR MY SAME MODEL. I FOUND THAT TO BE VERY DISTURBING. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT THIS BE LOOKED FURTHER INTO. *JB
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON; IT TURNED OUT THAT THE O2 SENSOR HAD BLOWN. WE WERE ABOUT TO HAVE IT REPLACED WHEN OUR MECHANIC SUGGESTED THAT HE HAD SEEN A BUNCH OF HONDA CIVICS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND AS IT TURNED OUT, THE EXHAUSED MANIFOLD HAD CRACKED CAUSING THE O2 SENSOR TO GO. WHEN OUR CIVIC WAS CHECK, THIS WAS EXACTLY THE CASE. IT IS ~$1000 FOR PARTS ALONE. WE BELIEVE HONDA KNOWS THIS PROBLEM EXSISTS AND WILL NOT RECALL DUE TO THE COST.

CONSUMER STATES THAT WHEN HIT AT 30MPH IN THE FRONT CENTER OF THE VEHICLE THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY CAUSING MINOR INJURIES TO THE CONSUMER. DEALER NOTIFIED. TS
WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH A PARKING LOT, A LAMP POST WAS HIT ON THE DRIVER SIDE QUARER PANEL ABOVE THE TIRE. THE SPEED TRAVELED WAS 5 MPH AND THE AIRBAGS WENT OFF. THERE ARE NUMEROUS PROBLEMS COMPLAINTS OF AIRBAGS NOT GOING OFF IN FRONTAL COLLISIONS, BUT A SIDE IMPACT AT 5 MPH CAUSED THE AIRBAG TO GO OFF, WHICH IN TURN ALSO TWISTED THE DASH BOARD AND BROKE THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. THE ACTUAL CRASH ITSELF CAUSED LESS THEN $500 OF DAMAGE, IT IS THE AIRBAG, WINDSHIELD, AND DASH BOARD THAT CAUSED ALL OF THE DAMAGE.

CONSUMER STATES THAT DEALERSHIP WANTS TOO CHARGE TO HAVE ALARM DISCONNECTED TO HAVE RECALL DONE, BUT WILL NOT RECONNECT, AFTER RECALL IS COMPLETE. TS
I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ON MY 1999 HONDA CIVIC FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH IN SEPTEMBER 2002. I TOOK THE CAR TO GET A NEW SWITCH INSTALLED. AFTER THAT I DID NOT SEE A POSITIVE CHANGE OR FASTER START UP OF THE CAR . IN FACT, IT SEEMED TO START SLOWER AND SLOWER. WHEN I WOULD PRESS THE ACCELERATOR I FELT A GRINDING SENSATION UNDER MY FOOT FROM THE GAS PEDAL, WHICH SOUNDED LIKE THE CAR WAS STRUGGLING TO SPEED UP. ALSO, WHEN I WOULD TURN THE KEY IN THE IGNITION THE CAR WOULD NOT START RIGHT AWAY, IT STALLED FOR ABOUT (7) SEVEN SECONDS OR SO. I BELIEVE THIS CAR IS A LEMON. WHEN I BOUGHT IT, THE GEARS WOULDN'T CHANGE PROPERLY. I WOULD PRESS THE ACCELERATOR TO GO UP TO SPPED ON THE HIGHWAY AND IT WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME FOR THE CAR TO CHANGE GEARS, IT SOUNDED VERY LOUD BECAUSE OF THIS. I DON'T KNOW WHY IT DID THIS, I AM CONCERNED AND IT BECAME VERY ANNOYING. I HAD AN ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING THIS CAR ON OCT. 16, 2002. AS I WAS DRIVING I HEARD SOMETHING CRACK UNDER THE CAR AND THE CAR STARTED TO SPIN TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD CAUSING ME TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR. I BELIEVE THE CAR HAD A SAFETY DEFECT THAT CAUSED THE WHEELS TO BREAK, RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER TOLD ME THESE ARE SOME OF THE DAMAGES TO THE CAR: THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOOR SHIFTED, THE AXLE BROKE, THE TIRES AND WHEELS BROKE, THEY DECLARED THE CAR A TOTAL LOSS. I BELIEVE THE WHEELS/TIRES BROKE FIRST, WHICH IS PROBABLY WHAT THE CRACKING SOUND WAS THAT I HEARD WHICH CAUSED THE CAR SWERVE. MY INSURANCE COMPANY PAID THE CAR OFF SO FAST WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THEY ARE HIDING SOMETHING. ASLO, I THINK THE STEERING OF THE CAR WAS OUT OF LINE, BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE CAR WOULD VEER TO THE RIGHT WHEN I WOULD BE DRIVING STRAIGHT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO STAY IN THE LANE I WOULD APPRECIATE ALL THE INFORMATION YOU CAN GIVE TO HELP ME FIND OUT WHAT ELSE IS WRONG WITH THIS CAR AS I ALREADY SAID A RECALL FOR THE IGNITION WAS ISSUED MORE DEFECTS MAY BE FOUND. I MARCIE BEEBE WAS TRAVELING DOWN LEE SUMMIT ROAD, NORTHBOUND, AT 35 MPH. I WAS TRAVELING DOWN A HILL AND APPROACHING A CORNER, WHEN I APPLIED MY BRAKES. AT THAT POINT, MY BRAKES LOCKED UP AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO STEER THE CAR AFTER THAT POINT. I CROSS INTO THE SOUTHBOUND LANE STRIKING A CAR AND INTO A DITCH WHERE MY CAR WAS STOPPED BY A STREET SIGN. I NOTICED MY CAR WAS NOT RUNNING WERE THERE ANY LIGHTS ON INDICATING MY CAR WAS STILL HAD POWER. I DETECT MY BRAKES LOCKED UP AND THIS IS WHY I LOST ABILITY TO STEER, CAUSING THIS MISFORTUNATE ACCIDENT. DT
