I purchased a used Honda Civic last summer. This year I started receiving recall notices. I did not respond until the notice told me that they could provide a loaner because I don't have a ride to drop off and pick up the vehicle. I have made at least 4 attempts over the last couple of months to remedy the airbag situation, but the Honda representatives were not willing to set up a loaner vehicle. Then when they finally seemed like it would happen, I was told that I don't have the right insurance and they won't do it for that reason. I know the company needs to fix millions of these air bags and are trying to save money but, I need them to fix mine too. Now they say they can't accommodate my situation. I am asking Honda to please fix my airbag. The attached flyer states that it is dangerous and deadly and that they would do it. Thank you
2010 HONDA CIVIC LX. CONSUMER STATED THAT FRONT AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING COLLISION. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE THE VEHICLE WAS STRUCK ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE. THE VEHICLE SPUN THROUGH A GRASS MEDIAN, ACROSS 3 LANES AND CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL HEAD ON. THE PASSENGER'S AIR BAG DEPLOYED, BUT DID NOT INFLATE. A POWDERY SUBSTANCE SPEWED FROM THE AIRBAG. THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. TWO OF THE VEHICLE'S OCCUPANTS RECEIVED NON LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES.
Airbag deployed unexpectedly while I was driving through a construction zone - I think it was right when I drove onto a metal construction plate. This would have been very bad if a car was right behind me. I do not have the car for inspection, since due to the cost of replacing the airbag system my insurance declared it a total loss and picked it up for salvage although the car was otherwise in great working condition with no other damage. However I have many pictures of my car from all angles that were taken for insurance purposes. No one else inspected the car in person before it was picked up since my insurance wanted to do a virtual inspection. There were zero warnings of the problem before it happened.
The sun visor keeps splitting at the seam. When that happens it'll no longer hold itself in place and it will flop down blocking my view. At this point I've replaced both sun visors 3 times since I bought the car, about once every 3 years in the summer. This started happening at about 80,000 miles. Whatever adhesive Honda is using to put these together don't hold up in the heat. You can feel the visors getting soft and bending in the heat until it inevitably breaks. It can't be usage either since both the driver and passenger side fail at about the same rate and the passenger sun visor rarely gets used.
The contact owns a 2010 Honda Civic. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under an NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V042000 (Air Bags); however, the repair caused the driver’s side seat belt buckle to not be detected while latched closed. The driver’s side seat belt warning light illuminated. The local dealer advised the contact that the passenger’s side air bag would not work as intended due to the driver’s side seat belt buckle warning light. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts not being available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 108,743.
Dealers will not replace passenger air bag at no cost.
While driving to work on December 20th, all of my curtain air bags and driver side air bags deployed without cause or warning. I brought it in to a Honda dealership to be inspected and I was told I was at fault even though it was an equipment error. There were no lights on my dash indicating the sensors on my 2010 Honda civic were not functioning properly. Thankfully I was not on any highway during the the incident or more serious trouble could have occurred. There was a ringing in my left ear for days after the incident.
Sudden radiator failure resulting in engine failure.

The contact owned a 2010 Honda Civic. The contact's wife stated while driving 45-50 mph and suddenly the vehicle hydroplaned, the contact's wife lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree, the vehicle then rolled three times then crashed into a telephone pole where the vehicle came into a stop. The frontal air bags did not deploy but the side air bags did deploy. The contact sustained inquires to her c3 and c4 vertebrae's, bruising to the body that was treated medically at a hospital. A police report was filed and the vehicle was towed to a tow yard where the vehicle was determined destroyed. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with, NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V042000 (AIR BAGS) however the VIN was not included. The contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 250,000.
DEALERSHIP BOUGHT USED CAR CATCHES FIRE AFTER JUST TWO DAYS OF PURCHASE: I BOUGHT A USED CAR WITH NO WARRANTY ON IT FROM A LOCAL DEALERSHIP EXACTLY TWO DAYS AGO. WHILE DRIVING ON THE SECOND DAY OF PURCHASE, THE CAR SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN AND FUMES STARTED TO COME OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT AND AS I STOPPED THE CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, FLAMES BEGAN TO FLICKER OUT OF THE ENGINE BAY AND WITHIN A MINUTE OR SO, THE ENTIRE CAR WAS ENGULFED IN FIRE! I WAS ABLE TO CALL 911 AND GET OUT OF THE CAR IN TIME, BUT THE CAR'S GONE, COMPLETELY. I AM THINKING THAT THERE MAY BE SOME FAULTS IN THE CAR THAT WERE NOT SPECIFIED IN THE CAR FAX REPORT FROM THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THIS IS NOT AN EVERYDAY OCCURRENCE THAT A CAR SETS IN FIRE. NOW, AS MY INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER THIS TYPE OF FIRE DAMAGE (LIABILITY INSURANCE) I AM STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE AND I DEALER IS NOT READY TO CO-OPERATE. THIS IS A BIG FINANCIAL LOSS FOR ME AND I AM SEEKING HELP TO RECOVER SUCH BIG LOSS. THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY TRAUMATIZING FOR ME AS WELL FOR MY GIRLFRIEND WHO WAS WITH ME. THIS HAS DEFINITELY LEFT US WITH PTSD.
MY SON WAS HIT FROM BEHIND WHILE AT A STOP. HIS CAR WAS PUSHED INTO THE CAR IN FRONT OF HIM. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CAR WAS TOTALED.
1. Power stearing failure. The car is available for inspection upon request. 2. When the failure occurs, the power stearing became very rigid in such way I'm unable to turn the stearing wheel. This has occured when I'm in the middle of a curve but also has occur when I'm in a straight line. This failure is intermitent, to 2-3 consecutive times for a couple of days (3-5days max) to then not appear for months. 3. and 4. The problem hasn't been reproduced or inspected by the dealer or independent service center. 5. A light with a stearing wheel and exclamation mark appears. No symptoms prior to failure. The first time to show this failure was over a year ago.
MY BRAKES WILL BE STUCK (I COULD NOT APPLY THE BRAKE) WHEN I SUDDENLY PRESS DOWN THE BRAKE PEDAL HARDLY. I HAD THIS ISSUE WHEN I BOUGHT IT NEW. I HAVE REPORTED THE ISSUE TO HONDA ONCE I DID ONLINE SURVEY. TODAY, I WAS INVOLVED IN AN CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE I COULD NOT APPLY BRAKE. I HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME IN THE STREET. THE BRAKE WORKS FINE AFTER THE ACCIDENT IF I PRESS THE PEDAL SLOWLY. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND SCARY.
CLEAR COAT IS MOTTLED AND PEELING FROM ROOF AND TRUNK. PAINT UNDERNEATH IS DULL AND OXIDIZED.

VEHICLE REAR ENDED, AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY AND SEATBELTS PROTECTION DEVICE DID NOT WORK. THE VEHICLE WAS IN IN MOTION UPON IMPACT. I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE 95 NEAR MILE MARKER 195 IN ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA.
GOT A AC PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE.FOUND OUT THAT THIS ENGINE IS MISSING A HEATER CONTROL VALVE.PRIOR YEARS HAVE ONE ,BUT YEARS 2006- 2011 FORGOT TO PUT ONE IN.I LIVE IN PHOENIX WHERE TEMP.IS HIGH, SO AC IS USED MORE.THIS IS IMPORTANT TO THE CLIMATE CONTROL OF THE VECHICLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 HONDA CIVIC COUPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER AN UNKNOWN AIR BAG RECALL. A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE WAS APPROACHING FROM THE HIGHWAY RAMP AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE ATTEMPTING TO AVOID A CRASH. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BACK, NECK, JOINTS, CONCUSSION, BRUISES AND CUTS THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE POLICE TOWED THE VEHICLE TO AN IMPOUND LOT. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 90,000. *LN*JB
RACK AND PINION STEERING WENT COMPLETELY OUT ON VEHICLE CAUSING CAR TO CRASH INTO GUARDRAIL OF A BRIDGE. CAR WAS IN MOTION ABOUT TO CROSS BAY BRIDGE WHEN THIS HAPPENED, SAFETY OF DRIVER AND OTHER VEHICLES WAS COMPROMISED. CAR WARS TRYING TO TURN RIGHT HEADING TOWARD THE BRIDGE WHEN RACK AND PINION FAILED CAR WAS STOPPED BY HITTING GUARDRAIL ABOUT 45 MILES AN HOUR. STARTER HAD TO BE REPLACED THE VERY NEXT MONTH ALSO PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSION. ALL OF THIS HAS BEEN REPAIRED BY OWNER. I DON'T FEEL THIS SHOULD HAPPEN AS VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE EXCESS MILEAGE ON IT.
PASSENGER AIRBAG REPLACED FROM RECALL AND DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG NOT REPLACED IS NOT IN RECALL. THE SHOW MARKETPLACE ON CBS DID A SEGMENT ON DEALERSHIP RIPOFFS AND CAME ACROSS THE AIR BAG(S) ISSUE ON A 2008 HONDA CIVIC. (TAKATA) IS THE COMPANY FOR SAID AIRBAGS. SAME MAKE AND MODEL AS MINE.HAS METAL SHARDS NEED TO BE REPLACED WAS NOT RECALLED. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED WHILE THE RECALL IS OUT. THESE AIRBAGS CAN GO OFF AT ANYTIME WHILE DRIVING OR SITTING
01/16/2020 . APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 1130 AM . 12 PM.I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT . LIGHT TURNED GREEN , I HAD CAR IN. GEAR D. PROCEEDED FORWARD, IT'S WAS RAINING. SO THE FRONT WHEELS SOMEWHAT. PEELED OUT JUST TRYING. TO GET GRIP ON ASPHALT .NEXT THING I KNOW SOUND OF SOMETHING BRAKING FROM .I THOUGHT IT WAS UNDER CAR .AFTER THAT COULDN'T PUSHED ON GAS PEDDLE CAR WOULD NOT DRIVE BUT MADE A HORRIBLE SOUND . I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR INTO N. TO PUSH IT OUT OF THE INTERSECTION . I LOOKED THROUGH THE PAPERWORK SEEN THE INSPECTION REPORT AND IT SHOWS THE TRANSSMITION AND DRIVETRAIN WAS REPAIRED/ REPLACED . THEY DIDN'T DO A GOOD JOB AT FIXING OR REPLACING THAT AREA OF MY HONDA CIVIC
When I first bought the car and or around 07/22/2019 I brought it home parked it in front of my house in Santa rosa CA. As I was walking to my house I took a look at the car I just bought and notice a small drip of oil or fluid . didnt pay attention to it . Do to the fact it came straight off the lot . As time went on power steering fluid would get low I was driving from santa rosa to sausalito ca every day on a very strict disiplinary probation by my Employer Heath Ceramics LTD. I had to be on time and figured I had a safe car to get me to work and back. Months after I bought the car and kept an eye on the fluids . I was at a stop light before work in Santa Rosa . The light turned green as I excelerated the train axle snaped . Took it to car max were I bought it and let them know it was leaking the day I brought it home until the day the train axle snapped . They repaird it no charge . I drove home and it was leaking more this time I took it back and said I want a new car it was sold to me leaking and still after carmax repaird it its still leaking . They repaird it again no charge and refused to let me get a new car . Turns out the seal in the train axel wasnt replaced and sold to me. I could have wrecked on that comute .On the contract check list it marked train axle replaced or repaird I showed dan the auto repair manager at car max santa rosa ca and his manager When I first took the car in to be repaired .
MY 2010 MODEL YEAR HONDA CIVIC WITH THE 1.8L R18A1 4-CYL ENGINE WILL NOT MAINTAIN ITS NORMAL ENGINE OPERATING TEMPERATURE DURING THE COLD WINTER MONTHS. THE ENGINE TAKES A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME TO WARM UP, WHETHER IT IS IDLING IN THE DRIVEWAY OR BEING DRIVEN IN THE CITY/HIGHWAY. THIS PROBLEM IS ESPECIALLY NOTICEABLE WHEN USING THE HEAT TO WARM UP THE CAR. IF I TRY TO USE THE DEFROST SETTING, THE CAR WILL NOT REACH ITS NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND THE AIR BEING BLOW OUT IS LUKEWARM. EVEN IF I WAIT UNTIL THE CAR IS FULLY WARMED UP, IF I ATTEMPT TO USE THE DEFROST, THE ENGINE TEMPERATURE WILL DROP. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE ENGINE'S TEMPERATURE, I MUST KEEP THE DEFROST SET BETWEEN THE HOT AND COLD INDICATORS ON THE CLIMATE CONTROL KNOB. THIS POSES AS A PROBLEM, BECAUSE THE AIR BEING BLOWN OUT DOES NOT EFFECTIVELY DEFROST MY WINDOWS. I ALSO DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE MY ENGINE AND HAVE IT RUN TOO COLD. ANY OUTSIDE TEMPERATE BELOW 30 F IS WHEN THE ENGINE SEEMS TO STRUGGLE WITH KEEPING A NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATE.
MAKES CLUNKING SOUND WHEN IN DRIVE AND THE SPEED SAYS 5 BUT THE CAR IS NOT MOVING I THINK THE DRIVE SHAFT IS NOT TOGETHER
WIPER BLADES MAKES LOUD RUBBING NOISE, BECAUSE WIPER ARMS ARE PRESSED VERY HARD AGAINST WINDSHIELD CAUSING FRICTION BETWEEN THE BLADES AND WINDSHIELD. I INSTALLED NEW WIPERS FROM SAM'S CLUB, STILL LOUD NOISE IS NOT GOING AWAY. THIS PROBLEM EXISTED EVER SINCE I BOUGHT BRAND NEW CIVIC IN 2010, BUT DUE TO LIGHT USAGE MOSTLY IN DRY DAYS, I IGNORED THIS PROBLEM. I FEEL CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE IN RAIN OR SNOW DUE TO POORLY DESIGNED WIPER ARMS OR WIPER ASSEMBLY. I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN 54,000 MILES SINCE 2010.
IN 2012 I PURCHASED A 2010 HONDA CIVIC EX COUPE. I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE SUN VISORS BREAKING. AT FIRST MY WARRANTY COVERED THE COST AND THEN OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE OF $150.00 EACH TIME I HAD TO REPLACE. THE ISSUE IS THE SAFETY OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE IN THE SUN LIGHT OR THE EVENING, DUE TO THE BROKEN SUN VISORS DANGLING IN MY LINE OF SIGHT. ENCLOSED ARE PICTURES OF THE BROKEN SUN VISORS PASS AND PRESENT. I WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACING THE DRIVERS SIDE ONCE AGAIN FOR MY SAFETY, DUE TO THE SHARP POINTY OBJECT BY MY HEAD WHERE THE SUN VISOR WAS ATTACHED TO. I DID CALL HONDA CORP AND REPORT THE ISSUE ONLY AGAIN AND THE SAFETY ISSUE OF THE POINT OBJECT BY MY HEAD. I TOOK MY HONDA TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SUN VISOR. BOTH THE SERVICE PERSON AND MECHANIC HAD TO CAREFUL PLACE THEMSELVES IN MY HONDA TO ENSURE THEY DID NOT POKE THE HEAD ON THE SHARP POINTY OBJECT.
TAKATA RECALL AFTER NUMEROUS MAILINGS FROM HONDA ENCOURAGING ME TO HAVE MY DEFECTIVE AIRBAG REPLACED, I FINALLY CALLED THEIR SERVICE HOTLINE IN MARCH 2019. I EMPHASIZED THE NEED TO OBTAIN A "FREE LOANER VEHICLE" AS BOLDLY ADVERTISED IN THEIR MAILING, AND HOW MY SCHEDULE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO HAVE THE REPAIR DONE WITHOUT SUCH ACCOMMODATIONS. I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A RETURN PHONECALL THE NEXT DAY FROM TURNERSVILLE HONDA TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT. TWO WEEKS WENT BY WITHOUT A RETURN CALL, SO I CONTACTED TURNERSVILLE HONDA MYSELF TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. AFTER ~15MINUTES ON THE PHONE, THE SERVICE REP INFORMED ME THAT THEY "DO NOT OFFER LOANER VEHICLES" DESPITE WHAT WAS STATED IN THE ADVERTISEMENT. I THEN CONTACTED AMERICAN HONDA'S CORPORATE OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY COULD ASSIST IN FULFILLING THEIR PROMISED ACCOMMODATIONS. DESPITE AN ADDITIONAL 3 MONTHS AND A DOZEN PHONECALLS AND PROMISES FOR ASSISTANCE, I AM STILL NO CLOSER TO HAVING THIS DEFECT REPAIRED. MY CASE NUMBER IN THIS MATTER IS 09466794. AS WORKING PARENTS WITH A FULL SCHEDULE, TWO SMALL CHILDREN, AND TWO OLDER PARENTS BATTLING CANCER, WE SIMPLY CANNOT DEAL WITH THESE SORTS OF OBSTACLES IN GETTING A POTENTIALLY DEADLY SAFETY DEFECT REPAIRED. WE EXPECT REASONABLE AND TIMELY ACCOMMODATIONS TO BE MADE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE SO BOLDLY ADVERTISED IN THE RECALL NOTIFICATIONS. I HOPE YOU CAN ENCOURAGE HONDA TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEIR LEGAL AND MORAL OBLIGATIONS TO REPAIR OUR VEHICLE.
MY CAR WAS IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR A RECALL REPAIR AND EVERY SINCE THEN THE SRS LIGHT SEEMS TO COME ON. THE SRS LIGHT FIRST CAME ON WHEN I HAD A PASSENGER IN THE PASSENGER SIDE GETTING OUT FROM THE CAR EXITING IT THE CAR THE CAR IS A 2010 WITH 35000 MILES IT'S A ONE OWNER CAR NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT AND REPAIRED ALWAYS AT THE DEALER ALL SERVICE HISTORY. THE ONLY PERSON THAT'S MESS WITH THIS SYSTEM IS THE DEALER WHO'S TRIED TO REPAIR AND GET THE LIGHT OFF SRS LIGHT AND STILL IS NOT FIXED WANTING ME TO PAY ALMOST $1,800
POWER STEERING NOT RESPONSIVE POWER STEERING NOISE AND FLUID LEAK
YHE WEATHERPROOFING STRIPS OF ALL MY WINDOWS ARE MELTING AND COMING OFF. ONE ALREADY DID. I DONT LIVE IN A VERY HOT CITY. IM AFRAID IT WILL ALLOW WATER TO LEAK IN DOOR AND GET TO ELECTRONICS AND MESS UP WINDOW FUNCTION. IF WINDOW GOES OUT YOU WOULDNT BE ABLE TO ROLL WINDOW DOWN IF AN EMERGENCY ARISES WHICH WOULD BE A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. AN A RANK IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

HI THERE! I OWN 2010 HONDA CIVIC AND WITHIN THE LAST YEAR OR LONGER, THE PAINT ON THE ROOF AND HOOD, TRUNK AREA KEEPS DISAPPEARING. I AM LOSING MY PAINT. I NOTICE A LOT OF HONDA CIVICS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I AM A VEHICLE OWNER WHO TAKES CARE OF MY VEHICLE INCLUDING THE APPEARANCE OF IT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE ON MY CAR IS 85997 MILES. I CONTACTED THE HONDA DEALERSHIP AND I SPOKE TO THE SERVICE ADVISOR ABOUT THE WARRANTY ENHANCEMENT ON THE PAINT/ TSB AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS EXPIRED.. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. HONDA SHOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND REPAIR THIS. I ONLY DO CITY DRIVING AND MY CAR WAS IN A PARKING GARAGE UP UNTIL LATE 2018 AND THEN RIGHT AFTER I STARTED NOTICING THE PAINT IS GETTING FADED. I ATTACHED A COUPLE PICTURES TO SHOW WHERE THE PAINT DAMAGE IS LOCATED. THANK YOU KINDLY.
THE SPEED SENSOR FAILED WHILE DRIVING MY 2010 HONDA CIVIC ON A HIGHWAY FORCING THE CAR INTO A LOW GEAR. SINCE FORD F150S ARE BEING RECALLED FOR THE SAME PROBLEM, I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW IT IS HAPPENING IN OTHER VEHICLES AS WELL. $500 DEALER REPAIR BILL.
UNKNOWN The paint on the top of the car and the trunk has peeled off and creates condition for rusting of the metal parts. This in time jeopardies the structural integrity of the car especially in accidents. I have see description of number of Honda Civics with this problem.
THE SPEEDOMETER FLICKERS SPEED. FOR EXAMPLE IF I AM GOING 70 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, MY SPEEDOMETER WILL DISPLAY I0.
DRIVER SIDE SUN VISOR POPPED/EXPLODED OPEN. THIS HAPPENED DURING SUMMER MONTHS WHEN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE WAS HIGHER. BEFORE SUN VISOR EXPLODED OPEN, IT HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED OR MOVED FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND WAS IN DORMANT POSITION (NON-USE). CAR WAS NOT IN USE AND WAS PARKED IN PRIVATE HOME DRIVEWAY WHICH HAD BEEN STATIONED THERE BETWEEN 20-24 HOURS. HAD CAR BEEN IN MOTION I BELIEVE THIS COULD CAUSE SIGNIFICANT SAFETY RISKS. AFTER VISOR EXPLODES OPEN IT WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO BE SET IN DORMANT POSITION AND COULD BLOCK VISION OR HIT DRIVER. PIECES COULD ALSO DISLODGE AND HIT DRIVER.
There's an electrical issue that is affecting the A/C connection. The compressor belt won't turn and it's due to the electrical issue. The fuse box over heats and turns on the "Check engine" light. Most Hondas have this same A/C issue but the problem is the faulty fusebox and fuses that are causing electrical issues to the rest of the car making it dangerous to drive.
