DRIVER AND REAR CENTER SEAT BELT UNBUCKLED AFTER BEING BUCKLED. REAR CENTER SEAT BELT HAD A CHILD SEAT INSTALLED WHEN IT UNBUCKLED. DEALERSHIP WILL BE NOTIFIED.*AK
PE 04 018/OIL FILTER FIRES: AFTER LEAVING JIFFY LUBE FOR AN OIL CHANGE, CONSUMER NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE. DROVE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE SHOP, AND MECHANIC REPLACED THE OIL FILTER AND THE OILS. *AK
CONSUMER FOUND ERRORS IN THE OWNERS MANUAL REGARDING THE OIL CHANGE. ITS STATED THAT THE OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 10,000 MILES. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER WHO STATED IT SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 3,000 MILES. THE DEALER THEN CALLED THE HONDA 800 NUMBER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 5000 MILES. THE CONSUMER IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE INDIFFERENCE. *NLM
CAR PULLS TO RIGHT, WAS SOMEWHAT CORRECTED 18 MONTHS LATER, BUT SHOP OVERCORRECTED THE FIX AND NOW IT DRIFTS TO THE LEFT. PULLS TO THE RIGHT UPON ACCELERATION.*AK
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT, WITH WHAT I AND APPARENTLY HONDA OF NORTH AMERICA CONSIDER A SAFETY DEFECT WITH THE 2003 HONDA CRV. THE CENTER REAR HEADREST RESTRAINT IS OF THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE LEFT AND RIGHT REAR HEADREST ON THIS VEHICLE. WHAT THIS DOES IS PREVENTS THE DRIVER FROM BEING ABLE TO HAVE A CLEAR VIEW IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. IN ORDER FOR THE DRIVER TO HAVE A CLEAR VIEW FROM THE REAR VIEW MIRROR, THE HEAD RESTRAINT MUST BE REMOVED THEREFORE DEFEATING ITS SAFETY PURPOSE FOR THE MIDDLE PASSENGER IN THE REAR SEAT. HONDA OBVIOUSLY REALIZED THIS , BECAUSE THE 2005 MODEL HAS A LOWER HEIGHT REAR SEAT MIDDLE PASSENGER HEAD RESTRAINT, AS IT SHOULD. AS A CONSUMER I BELIEVE THAT HONDA, SHOULD OFFER OWNER'S OF THIS VEHICLE, THE NEW UPDATED LOWER HEIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT FOR THE REAR SEAT MIDDLE PASSENGER AT NO CHARGE TO OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE. *AK
THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER FOR RELIEF BUT THEY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER REFUSES TO COVER THE FIRE UNDER THE VEHICLE'S WARRANTY. *LA *NM

FAX E-MAIL FROM (MT) RE DEFECTIVE COMPUTER IN THEIR 2003 HONDA CRV, CAUSES THE ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON. *TS A COMPUTER READ OUT INDICATED THAT AL FOUR CYLINDERS WERE MISFIRING. *JB
2003 HONDA CRV. AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON AND CONSUMER WANTS TO KNOW IF THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER. *NJ
CONSUMER STATES ENGINE STALLED ON THREE OCCASSIONS. THE LAST TIME HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTIONS MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN WHEN THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. PH
WHILE TRAVELING AT 30 MPH ANOTHER VEHICLE RAN A STOP SIGN, CAUSING CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL. VEHICLE WAS AIRBORNE, LANDING ON A TELEPHONE POLE. NONE OF THE VEHICLES AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. *AK
DASHBOARD LIGHT WENT OUT. DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE SWITCH, BUT THE PROBLEM RECURRED. WIRE HARNESS WAS THEN REPLACED, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTED. CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL SHORT. BUT THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT LOCATE THE EXACT COMPONENT THAT WAS THE SOURCE OF THE SHORT. *AK
THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED TO RETURN TO ITS POSITION AFTER A TURN WAS MADE. THE CONSUMER HAD TO APPLY FORCE TO GET THE STEERING WHEEL TO DRIVE STRAIGHT. *AK WHEN GOING AROUND CURVES AND CORNERS, THE WHEELS OCCASIONALLY HANG IN THE DIRECTION OF THE TURN AND WOULD NOT RETURN. THIS OCCURRED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS COLD. *SCC *JB
WHEN THE "AUTO" INDICATOR LIGHT GOES OUT ON THE DASHBOARD POWER WINDOWS AND SUN ROOF STOP OPERATING. DRIVER HAS TO MANEUVER THE IGNITION SWITCH OR RESTART THE VEHICLE TO GET THE WINDOWS AND SUN ROOF TO OPERATE. DEALER REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK
WINDSHIELD DEVELOPED A CRACK THAT STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM RIGHT SIDE. CONSUMER STATED "NO OBJECTS MADE CONTACT WITH THE WINDSHIELD. THE CAUSE OF THE CRACK WAS UNDETERMINED BY DEALERSHIP. *AK
AFTER THE SHIFT CABLE NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 03V 274000 WAS PERFORMED THE VEHICLE JERKED FORWARD WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR STOPPING. ALSO, WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE IT IDLED HIGH. *AK
THE OCCUPANT,10 YEARS OLD, IN THE REAR SEAT TOOK THE SEAT BELT OFF TO REACH FOR SOMETHING. SOMEHOW THE SEAT BELT GOT TWISTED AROUND THE PASSENGER'S WAIST AND CONTINUED TO TIGHTEN AFTER EVERY MOVEMENT. SEAT BELT HAD TO BE CUT OFF BECAUSE THE PASSENGER BECAME UPSET AND HAD DIFFICULTY BREATHING. DEALER WILL REPLACE THE SEAT BELT ONLY AT CONSUMER'S EXPENSE. *AK
