ON 2/3/2015 I REC'D LETTERS FROM HONDA MOTOR CO STATING THAT BOTH FRONT AIR BAGS POSSIBLY HAD LIFE-THREATENING PROBS. I CALLED LOCAL DEALER, JEFF WYLER HONDA, AND NEW PARTS WERE ORDERED THAT DAY. TODAY, 4/17/15, THE DEALER STILL HAS NOT REC'D THEM. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT HONDA CO TELLS CUSTOMER THAT THEIR LIFE IS IN DANGER IF CAR IS DRIVEN BUT DOESN'T FIX PROB! IT'S BEEN 2 1/2 MONTHS! THE DEALER'S HANDS ARE TIED AS HONDA CO TELLS THEM PARTS ARE BACK ORDERED- WITH NO ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE. MAYBE YOU CAN LIGHT A FIRE UNDER HONDA CO! *TR

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AIRBAG REPLACEMENTS FOR THE HONDA RECALL SINCE JANUARY. OUR DEALER, JL FREED IN MONTGOMERYVILLE, PA HAS RECEIVED ONE OF THE TWO AIRBAGS BUT HAS NO IDEA WHEN THE OTHER WILL BE IN. OVER 90 DAYS OF WAITING SEEMS EXCESSIVE FOR A RECALL REQUIREMENT. *TR

MY AFFECTED VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT 30 MPH WHEN BROADSIDED BY A VEHICLE TRAVELING AT 40-45 MPH ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE; MY VEHICLE WAS ALSO SHOVED OUT OF THE DRIVING LANE, PROCEEDED TO COLLIDE HEAD ON WITH A STREET SIGN WITH THE FRONT RIGHT AND A UTILITY POLE WITH MY FRONT LEFT. NEITHER THE FRONT OR SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND JAWS OF LIFE WAS UTILIZED TO EXTRICATE ME. I SUFFERED A LEFT-SIDED HEAD INJURY (LARGE CONTUSION, CONCUSSION), SHOULDER INJURY (ROTATOR CUFF, FRACTURED SCAPULA) AND BACK AND NECK STRAINS. THESE INJURIES WERE CAUSED BY CONTACT WITH THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE ON THE LEFT SIDE. INJURIES COULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLY AVOIDED IF SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND CUSHIONED THE IMPACT/PROTECTED DRIVER FROM CONTACT WITH VEHICLE FRAME. CONTACT WITH AMERICAN HONDA AT THE NATIONAL OFFICE REGARDING THIS MATTER WAS MET WITH TOTAL DISINTEREST. ONE PERSON ACTUALLY TOLD ME I SHOULD BE GLAD IT DID NOT GO OFF BECAUSE I COULD HAVE BEEN HURT WORSE BY THE AIRBAG. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THERE WERE TWO RECALLS FOR AIRBAGS RELATED TO MY VEHICLE - NEITHER OF WHICH I WAS CONTACTED. THEY CLAIMED THEY HAD AN INCORRECT ADDRESS, BUT I HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY NOTIFIED OF NON-RELATED RECALLS WITH NO ISSUE OF INCORRECT ADDRESS, AND THERE ARE RECORDS OF THE DEALER THAT HAS DONE PRIOR RECALL WORK. WHILE USING 'CRUISE CONTROL' IN FREEWAY TRAFFIC, THE CARS AHEAD BEGAN TO SLOW, SUDDENLY WHILE I HAD CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED, IN FIFTH GEAR. *TR A BLACK PRIUS WAS THE CAR IMMEDIATELY AHEAD OF MINE. THE SLOWING OF THE TRAFFIC WAS SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH SO THAT I USED LIGHT BRAKING TO DISENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL AND SLOW THE VEHICLE. JUST A 'TAP' ON THE BRAKE IS ALL THAT HAS EVER BEEN NECESSARY TO DISENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL IN THIS TYPE OF SITUATION. "LIGHT' BRAKING AND THEN 'VERY HEAVY' BRAKING DID NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DISENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL OR TO SLOW THE VEHICLE WHATSOEVER. I ALMOST COLLIDED WITH THE REAR END OF THE PRIUS. THE ONLY WAY I COULD RESUME CONTROL AND SLOW MY VEHICLE WAS TO REACH OVER AND SLAP-OFF THE MASTER, CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH AT THE FAR LEFT OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THIS WAS VERY SCARY AS I'VE HEARD OF IT HAPPENING BUT HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THIS VEHICLE AND I'VE OWNED IT SINCE NEW. WHEN I FIRST ATTEMPTED TO TAP THE BRAKE TO DISENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL, AND SLOW; MY VEHICLE ALSO SEEMED TO ACCELERATE AT THE SAME TIME... I THINK THAT THIS, PROBABLY, WAS NOT ACTUALLY THE CASE AS THE CLOSURE RATE TO THE OTHER VEHICLE AND MY INABILITY TO SLOW THE VEHICLE, PROBABLY JUST MADE IT SEEM LIKE THE CAR WAS ACCELERATING... MY PROBLEM IS THAT AFTER I GOT THE RECALL INFORMATION THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THE PARTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HOW LONG DO THE COMPANIES HAVE TO GET THE PARTS TO THE DEALERS?THE RECALL LETTER CAME OUT IN JANUARY. IT IS NOW THE MIDDLE OF MARCH. *TR

SINCE I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE IN JANUARY, I'VE BEEN CALLING ALMOST ALL HONDA DEALERS IN OUR AREA IN SAN DIEGO CA AND THEY'VE BEEN TELLING ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS NECESSARY FOR THE RECALL. I RECEIVED A TENTATIVE SERVICE DATE ON APRIL 11, 2015 WITH THE HONDA DEALER IN MISSION VALLEY BUT WHEN I CALLED TODAY, THEY APPARENTLY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ORDERED PARTS YET, SO MY SCHEDULE WAS CANCELLED. SAME THING WITH THE HONDA DEALER IN EL CAJON. THEY SAID THAT THEY HAVE NO PARTS AS OF YET. WE HIGHLY DEPEND ON THIS VEHICLE FOR TRAVEL AND WITH THE RECALL ISSUE STILL UNRESOLVED FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS NOW, GOD FORBID THAT WE DON'T GET INTO ANY ACCIDENT. IN CASE WE DO, AGAIN GOD FORBID, I DEMAND FULL RESPONSIBILITY FROM WHOEVER IS NOT ACTING FAST ENOUGH IN RESOLVING THIS DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH OUR VEHICLE! *TR

I HAD JUST TAKEN THE CAR INTO THE DEALERSHIP THE WEEK BEFORE, AND THEY HAD REPLACED THE STARTER AS WELL AS DOING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. ONE WEEK LATER, I HAD JUST LEFT THE HOUSE AND WAS DRIVING TOWARD A MAJOR INTERSECTION AT 55 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTED TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN. I PUSHED DOWN ON THE BRAKE AND WAS ABLE TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN SOMEWHAT BUT THE ENGINE WAS STILL RACING. I TRIED TO PULL THE ACCELERATOR UP BUT WITH THE TOP OF MY FOOT, BUT THIS DID NOTHING. PUTTING ALL OF MY WEIGHT ON THE BRAKE I SLOWED IT ENOUGH TO TURN INTO A PARKING LOT AT ABOUT 10 MPH, AT WHICH POINT I JAMMED IT INTO PARK. THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO RACE UNTIL I TURNED IT OFF. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVED, THE DRIVER STARTED THE CAR WHICH AGAIN CAUSED THE ENGINE TO REV EXTREMELY HIGH, AND HE IMMEDIATELY TURNED IT OFF. AFTER TOWING TO THE DEALERSHIP, THE MECHANICS THERE WERE UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, DURING WHICH TIME THEY DROVE IT FOR ABOUT 80 MILES. THEN THEY CALLED US AND SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG OR REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM, AND THEY HAVE ASKED US TO COME PICK UP THE VEHICLE. I AM WORRIED THE PROBLEM COULD RECUR, AND DO NOT WISH TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE ANY LONGER. *TR

THE CONTACT REMOVED THE REMOTE STARTER PER THE DEALER'S INSTRUCTION, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS UNABLE TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 137,000.

THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG WAS REPLACED IN A PREVIOUS RECALL. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED, SHE MUST WAIT TO BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL FROM HONDA REGARDING THE NEXT STEP. *JB

I AM UNABLE TO INSERT KEY INTO DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND AS A RESULT CAN NOT OPEN THE DOOR TO GET IN. I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE, OPEN THE DOOR TO DRIVER'S SIDE. DRIVER SIDE FRONT DOOR LOCK DOES NOT TURN AND WE ARE STRANDED AS THE DOOR DOESN'T OPEN. I AM HOPING TO CALL HONDA AND SUGGEST THEY HAVE A RECALL AS THIS LOOK LIKE WIDE-SPREAD ISSUE BASED ON THE FEEDBACK ON THE WEB.
I FIRST CALLED CORAL SPRINGS AUTOMALL, CORAL SPRINGS, FL 33071 ABOUT REPLACING THE AIRBAGS IN MY VEHICLE (DUE TO A RECALL) ON OCTOBER 22, 2014. I SPOKE TO A WOMAN WHO DID NOT IDENTIFY HERSELF, WHO SEEMED RELUCTANT TO HELP, AND WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK. AFTER WAITING THREE DAYS, ON OCTOBER 25 MY HUSBAND CALLED AGAIN. HE SPOKE TO DEXTER, WHO PROMISED HE WOULD CALL BACK WHEN THE PARTS WERE IN STOCK WITHIN 7 TO 10 DAYS. AGAIN THERE WAS NO RETURN CALL. SO MY HUSBAND CALLED AGAIN ON NOVEMBER 11. THIS TIME DEXTER SAID THAT THE PARTS "COULD BE ON BACK ORDER FOR TWO MONTHS." WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE SAFETY CONCERNS OF DRIVING WITH THESE DEMONSTRABLY DANGEROUS AIRBAGS, DISTRESSING BECAUSE THERE IS REGULARLY A BABY IN THE CAR, DEXTER ADVISED THAT THE AIRBAG FUSE BE REMOVED UNTIL THE SITUATION WAS REMEDIED. ONCE MORE WE RECEIVED NO PHONE CALLS FROM THE DEALERSHIP. THUS ANOTHER CALL WAS MADE ON JANUARY 06, 2015. MY HUSBAND AGAIN SPOKE TO DEXTER, WHO REPEATED THAT HE WOULD CALL BACK IN 7 TO 10 DAYS. PREDICTABLY, NO ONE CALLED. ANOTHER CALL WAS PLACED BY MY HUSBAND ON JANUARY 15. THIS TIME, AT LAST, DEXTER MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR JANUARY 23. ON THE 23RD, THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG WAS REPLACED, AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE PARTS FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE WERE UNAVAILABLE (NO FURTHER EXPLANATION). THEY WOULD NEED TO BE ORDERED. I DON'T COMPREHEND HOW IT IS THAT AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING FOR THESE PARTS, AND BEING FORCED TO DRIVE IN AN UNSAFE VEHICLE, THIS DEALERSHIP IS STILL UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM--DESPITE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO DO JUST THAT. THE PROBLEMS DO NOT SUBSIDE FROM HERE. TODAY, JANUARY 27, I WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO ADDRESS THE FACT THAT THE COVER ON THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG WAS NOT ATTACHED. ONCE AGAIN, I WAS TOLD THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG PARTS WERE ON ORDER AND NO TIME FRAME FOR COMPLETION WAS OFFERED. *TR

SO THE AC IN STANDARD EQUIPMENT. HONDA OF AMERICA SETTLES A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT FOR THIS CAR MODEL. HOWEVER THEY WILL NOT HELP ME GET MY CAR UP AND RUNNING WITHOUT ME PAYING FOR A REPAIR THAT IS DUE TO A BAD DESIGN BY THEY MANUFACTURER. DRIVING WITH SPEED CONTROL ON I TAPPED THE BRAKES TO RELEASE IT. THE CAR SPED UP AS IF THE ACCELERATOR HAD BEEN PRESSED TO THE FLOOR AND HELD THERE. I CONTINUED TO TAP THE BRAKES, BUT THE SPEED CONTROL WOULD NOT RELEASE. I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND IT WOULD NOT RELEASE. NOW I AM FLYING DOWN THE APRON OF THE ROAD JUST MISSING STOPPED CARS STILL GOING 65 BEING JOSTLED VIOLENTLY. THE SPEED CONTROL DISENGAGES AFTER I PASS ABOUT 20 CARS. THE CAR FINALLY IS ABLE TO STOP. MY HAND WAS AT NO POINT CLOSE TO THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS OF THE SPEED CONTROL. MY FOOT NEVER HIT OR HELD THE ACCELERATOR. A RIGHT REAR TIRE WAS IMPALED BY DEBRIS.

AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR RECEIVING THE PARTS COULD BE GIVEN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DELAY. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TAKATA RECALL I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN MAY OF 2014. I WAS HIT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR/FRONT FENDER ON A CITY STREET GOING APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES/HOUR IN A STRAIGHT DIRECTION. THE AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED. I SUSTAINED A DEEP GASH ON MY RIGHT FOREARM AND WHAT APPEARED TO BE CHEMICAL BURNS ON THE SKIN SURROUNDING THE GASH, BOTH PALMS AND BOTH THUMBS THAT TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS TO HEAL. THE "BURNS" WORSENED OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL HOURS FOLLOWING THE CRASH. I ASSUMED THEY WERE CHEMICAL BURNS AFTER DOING A QUICK INTERNET SEARCH. I DID NOT GO TO A DOCTOR BUT INSTEAD TREATED THE AREA WITH AN ANTIBIOTIC CREAM AND LATER, ALOE VERA. I HEALED WITHIN A FEW WEEKS, BUT I STILL HAVE A SCAR ON MY RIGHT FOREARM FROM THE GASH (RECENT, 2/16/17 PHOTO ATTACHED). THE INJURY WAS CAUSED BY THE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. AT THE TIME OF THE CRASH BOTH MY HANDS WERE ON THE STEERING WHEEL AT A "10 AND 2" POSITION.
WHILE I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK, I DECIDED TO TAKE THE FREEWAY (INSTEAD OF THE NORMAL ROADS) BACK HOME. I WAS HITTING SPEEDS THAT WERE 60MPH-65MPH. IT WAS UNTIL I WAS 15 MINUTES INTO MY DRIVING THAT I HEARD SOMETHING SNAP IN THE FRONT OF MY CAR AND HEARD A DENSE WHOOSH. THE HOOD OF MY CAR SLAMS UP AGAINST MY WINDSHIELD AND I AM COMPLETELY BLINDED; I CAN NOT SEE IN FRONT OF ME. THANKFULLY, I USE MY REAR VIEWS WHILE I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY AND MANAGE TO DRIVE OFF TO THE SHOULDER. LATER DISCOVERED HIGH BEAMS TO BE FUNCTIONAL. WAS SEARCHING ONLINE FOR FIX AND RAN ACROSS MANY PEOPLE WHO HAD SAME PROBLEM AND COMPLAINED OF BURNT WIRING. BOTH PASSENGER REAR DOORS STOPPED RESPONDING TO THE KEYLESS REMOTE. THEY CAN ONLY BE UNLOCKED MANUALLY FROM THE INSIDE OF THE CAR. DRIVER DOOR STOPPED RESPONDING SHORTLY THERE AFTER. HAVE TO MANUALLY UNLOCK/LOCK THE DOOR WITH THE KEY. THE INTERIOR DRIVER DOOR LOCK CAN NOT BE MOVED UP OR DOWN MANUALLY. ONLY THE KEY CAN MOVE THE DOOR LOCK. ALMOST 100% OF THE TIME I USE THE REMOTE TO UNLOCK AND LOCK THE 2003 HONDA CR-V EX. WHEN RECENTLY TRYING THE KEY, IT DID NOT WORK IN THE DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK. AS A RESULT OF DISCOVERING THIS DEFECT, I TRY THE KEY OCCASIONALLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEEING WHAT HAPPENS IN THE DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK. OTHER KEY/LOCK OBSERVATIONS: 1. USUALLY THE KEY DOESN'T EVEN GO INTO THE LOCK. 2. SOMETIMES THE KEY GOES IN THE LOCK ALL THE WAY, BUT WON'T TURN EITHER WAY. 3. OCCASIONALLY THE LOCK WORKS PERFECTLY, WITH NO RESISTANCE OR APPARENT PROBLEM, LEADING ME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH THE LOCK. 4. EACH OF THESE SPORADIC ISSUES HAPPEN WITH TWO OTHER HONDA-MADE "SIDEWINDER" KEYS FOR THE CAR, WHICH ARE LIKE NEW. (THE MAIN KEY IS ALWAYS USED FOR THE IGNITION AND IS WORN THEREFROM.) 5. THE OTHER LOCKS ON THE CAR (IGNITION, FRONT PASSENGER & 5TH DOOR) DO NOT EXPERIENCE THESE PROBLEMS. HONDA SERVICE CLAIMS THE LOCKS PINS HAVE WORN OUT. HOW CAN THE LOCK PINS WEAR OUT WHEN THEY ARE BARELY USED? IF THE PINS HAVE WORN OUT, WHY DOES THE KEY GO ALL THE WAY INTO THE LOCK SOMETIMES? AND WHY DOES THE LOCK WORK PERFECTLY SOMETIMES? THIS IS A PERSONAL SAFETY ISSUE, AS WELL AS AN ISSUE REGARDING A BASIC FUNCTION OF THE CAR. DESPITE SERVICE BULLETIN 03068 (NHTSA ID NUMBERS 10004794 AND 10012644), HONDA SERVICE INSISTS THAT THE CONSUMER PAY TO HAVE THE PART(S) FIXED. THIS APPEARS TO BE EITHER A MANUFACTURING OR MATERIALS DEFECT, OR A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHICH CONSUMER COULDN'T CAUSE, AND FOR WHICH THE CONSUMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEAR THE COST TO FIX. *TR

WHILE DRIVING THE HIGHWAY FROM BEND OREGON TO ALBANY OREGON I WAS IN A 2 CAR CRASH. I RECALL THE EXPLOSION OF THE AIRBAG AND THEN COMING TO AGAINST THE ROCK WALL AT DETROIT DAM. I HAD HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SENDING IT SPINNING AND CRASHING UP AGAINST THE GUARD RAIL IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THE HONDA CRV WENT TO THE RIGHT AND ROLLED 3 TIMES COMING TO A STOP ON THE SIDE. THERE WAS MEDICS, POLICE AND AMBULANCES THAT CAME. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO GET ME OUT WITH THE JAWS OF LIFE AND I WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SALEM OREGON HOSPITAL. THE DRIVER OF THE FIRST CAR SUSTAINED A BROKEN SHOULDER AND TORN MUSCLES. I HAD A SEVERE CONCUSSION AND SEATBELT BURNS. MUSCLES HAD BEEN TORN FROM MY BACK AND SHOULDERS. I WAS IN THERAPY FOR MANY MONTHS AND STILL SUFFER FROM THE PAIN AND MEMORY LOSS.

MY WIFE WAS ACCELERATING HER 2003 HONDA CR-V ONTO THE MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE FROM THE ON-RAMP, BUT THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE WELL ABOVE NORMAL HIGHWAY SPEED. THE BRAKE ONLY SLOWED IT PARTIALLY, SO SHE TRIED TAPPING THE ACCELERATOR WHICH RELEASED. ALARMED BY THIS SHE GOT IT SERVICED WHERE MECHANIC BLAMED THE PROBLEM ON BUILDUP OF DEPOSITS ON THE THROTTLE PLATE, WHICH THEY CLEANED, AND DID OTHER PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER I WAS LEAVING THE SUPERMARKET ON AN VERY COLD DAY OF ABOUT 10F. I STARTED THE CAR IN PARK, AT WHICH POINT THE THROTTLE WENT TO MAXIMUM BY ITSELF, AT VERY HIGH REVS. FORTUNATELY IT WAS STILL IN PARK. I TRIED ALL KINDS OF TAPPING ON AND AROUND THE ACCELERATOR. I INSPECTED THE ACCELERATOR AREA FOR A STUCK FLOOR MAT OR A FOREIGN OBJECT, BUT FOUND NOTHING. I TURNED THE CAR OFF, BUT WHEN I TURNED IT ON, IT CONTINUED TO REV AS IF FLOORED. THE SECOND TIME I TURNED IT OFF AND ON, IT RETURNED TO NORMAL OPERATION. IT DROVE NORMALLY FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. FINALLY, MY WIFE WAS DRIVING ON A BUSY DIVIDED HIGHWAY WITH MANY BUSINESSES WHEN THE ACCELERATOR STUCK OPEN AGAIN. THE CAR SPED UP TO DANGEROUS SPEED, AND STOMPING ON THE BRAKE ONLY PARTLY SLOWED IT. SHE SHIFTED INTO LOW GEAR WHICH ACTUALLY MADE IT SPEED UP. SHE WAS APPROACHING A TRAFFIC LIGHT WITH STOPPED CARS. NOT WANTING TO HIT A COLUMN OF STOPPED CARS, SHE STEERED INTO A THICK SNOWBANK BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, HOPING TO STOP IT NON-DESTRUCTIVELY. BUT THE HONDA DID NOT STOP UNTIL IT HIT A TELEPHONE POLE VERY HARD, WITH AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND TOTAL VEHICLE LOSS. SHE ESCAPED WITH ONLY MINOR BRUISES. *TR
