I NEVER RECEIVED A NOTICE ABOUT THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WHICH SUPPOSEDLY WAS SENT OUT AS BULLETIN #12-072. I DID HAVE A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY ON MY CAR I THOUGHT BUT I AM TOLD IT WAS ONLY FOR 3 YEARS AND THAT MY WARRANTY EXPIRED AFTER 7 YEARS ON MY CERTIFIED USED CAR WARRANTY. I WOULD NOT HAVE IGNORED THE RECALL WARNING.

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V061000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 164,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE OUTER RACE SECONDARY SHAFT BEARING IS BROKEN CAUSES ABNORMAL NOISE. THIS COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL ADDITIONALLY BROKEN PIECES MAY BECOME LODGED IN THE PARKING PAWL RESULTING THE VEHICLE ROLLING AFTER IT IS PLACED IN PARK POSITION. UNEXPECTED VEHICLE MOVEMENT INCREASES THE RISK OF A CRASH OR PERSONAL INJURY. IT TOOK A LONG TIME FOR SOMEONE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER STATED RODENTS CHEWED THROUGH THE WIRING HARNESS. THE CONSUMER STATED THE MANUFACTURERS USE SOYBEAN MATERIAL IN THE WIRING, WHICH ATTRACTED THE RODENTS.

AFTER PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AT THE GROCERY STORE, I PLACED MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK. ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE CAR LURCHED FORWARD AT A HIGH SPEED ALMOST HITTING THE CAR PARKED IN FRONT OF ME. I HAD TO DEPRESS THE BRAKES ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR TO STOP THE CAR (AND MY BRAKES ARE FAIRLY NEW)! ALMOST SCARED ME TO DEATH! I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM.
