My light start turn on and off in some times and this start happens 3 days ago
hit from rear and seat belt popped out of housing and stripped or extended all the way out. Will not retract, major injury to right breast.
The passenger airbag light stays on after the car is started and in motion. Regardless if there is a passenger seated or not. The car was taken in to the dealership during the recalls on takata airbag replacement. The passenger airbag light was off and now the light been staying on. I am extremely concern if my family or someone else gets into an accident, the airbag won’t deploy or may randomly deploy on its own.
All 5 automatic door locks failed to open causing me to be locked inside the car. After many minutes and retrying the key fob I was able to exit via the front passenger door. Later that same day once returning home I was locked out of all 5 doors. The car was towed and the left front door and right rear door actuators were replaced. These had previously been recalled and replaced on extended warrenty in 2015. The failure of the locks this last week are acutally the Honda approved replacements. The problem was reproduced by the repairing garage. Odd sounds from the doors had been heard prior to the breakdown.
I was in an accident in which the vehicle was totaled. I slammed into another car. My face slammed into the steering wheel, my airbags did not deploy.
I GOT A LETTER TELLING ME TO CONTACT HONDA
"TAKATA RECALL" WHEN I CRANK THE CAR WITH NO PASSENGER THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON FOR A SECOND AND THEN GOES OFF SAYING THERE IS SOMEONE IN THE SEAT WHEN THERE IS NO ONE THERE. I CHECKED MY VIN FOR RECALLS AND IT SAYS THERE IS NONE BUT I PUT A BLUE DRIVER TESTER ON IT AND IT SAYS THE RECALL IS STILL THERE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR INDICATOR ILLUMINATED OFF AND ON WHILE THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WAS OCCUPIED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GREENWICH HONDA IN GREENWICH, CT WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE INDICATOR EVENTUALLY REMAINED IN THE OFF POSITION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 190,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, A 2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE AND AN UNKNOWN TRUCK. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK, BACK, AND HEAD, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE CONTACT 'S RESIDENCE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (AUTO DEPOT, 5525 W CHARLESTON BLVD, LAS VEGAS, NV 89146). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 134,000.

WELL I HAD THE DRIVER SIDE REPAIRED AND THEN LAST YEAR I BELIEVE I HAD THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG REPLACED ALSO, BUT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG SYMBOL IS SHOWING UP AGAIN ON MY CAR WHAT CAN I DO CAUSE THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR A DIAGNOSIS BUT IT IS SHOWING THE SYMBOL OF THE AIRBAG AS IT DID BEFORE SO THE AIRBAG SYMBOL COMES ON AND OFF SOMETIMES IT STAYS ON THE WHOLE DAY AND THEN THE NEXT DAY IT DOES NOTHING SO ITS BEING GOING ON AND OFF OCCASIONALLY

HONDA REPLACED BOTH THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGER FRONT AIRBAGS. I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT APRIL 2017. I WAS BROADSIDED, DRIVERS DOOR WAS IMPACTED. MY HEAD WENT HROUGH THE DRIVERS WINDOW. NONE OF THE SIDE AIRBAGS INFLATED. THE BODY SHOP WAS DISTURBED THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I HAVE BEEN IN PHYSICAL THERAPY SINCE THE ACCIDENT. THE VA HAS BEEN SUPPLYING MEDICAL TREATMENT. HONDA DENIED RESPONSIBILITY ALTHOUGH THEY NEVER SAW THE CAR. MY INSURANCE COMPANY PROGRESSIVE WILL NOT REPAIR THE FAULTY AIRBAGS BECAUSE THEY WERE FAULTY BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. WESTPORT HONDA WHERE I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE CAR IS NOT INTERESTED IN TAKING IT AS A TRADE IN BECAUSE OF THE KNOWN AIRBAG PROBLEM. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR. I CAN'T SELL THE CAR WITHOUT REVEALING THE KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAGS. THE DASHBOARD DISPLAY LIGHT COMES ON WITHOUT WARNING INDICATING THE SIDE AIRBAGS ARE NOT WORKING. THE INDICATOR IS OFF MOST OF THE TIME. I NEVER KNOW WHEN IT'S GOING TO COME ON AND HOW LONG IT'S GOING TO BE ON. HONDA INDICATED TO ME THAT THE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE TESTED AT MY EXPENSE. I AM DISABLED AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO HAVE THIS DONE. OR ABLE TO TRAVEL TO SUCH A FACILITY.
TAKATA RECALL I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON 4/19/2017 WHEN THE CAR IN FRONT OF MINE STOPPED, I DEPRESSEED THE BRAKE PEDAL HOWEVER IT FAILED TO STOP, I STRUCK THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME WHICH CAUSED MY AIRBAG TO INFLATE. IT RUPTURED AT THAT TIME RELEASING DIRTY SMOKE SLIKE MATERIALS AND BURNED THE SKIN ON MY LEFT WRIST. I MELTED MY COAT AND BLOUSE SLEEVE SINGING MY WRIST.. AT THE TIME OF THE BRAKE FAILURE AND RUPTURED AIRBAG INFLATION I WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET.

TAKATA RECALL 2 DIFFERENT RECALLS RECEIVED MAR 2016 AND JULY 2016 AND LETTERS STATED PARTS AVAILABLE FALL 2016 AND WOULD BE NOTIFIED BY LETTER. TODAY, FEB 25, 2017 CALLED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD PARTS ARE AVAILABLE AND HAVE BEEN FOR SOME TIME. WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THIS BY HONDA.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A RECALL NOTIFICATION WAS RECEIVED SOMETIME IN JANUARY FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL AIR BAG. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN A RECALL FOR THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR AND WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT INFORMED THE DEALER THAT THE DOOR LOCKS THAT FAILED ON THE VEHICLE WERE THE PASSENGER AND REAR DOOR LOCKS, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE DEALER GAVE THE CONTACT A BILL OF $500 TO ORDER THE PARTS, NOT INCLUDING LABOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS WERE NOT PROVIDED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
