COLD WEATHER ENGINE STARTS WITH RATTLE SOUND VTC ACTUATOR ISSUE.

TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR LIGHT : THE TIRE INDICATOR LIGHT REMAINS ON WEATHER THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED OR MOVING. THIS HAS BEEN RESET USING THE MANUAL, BY A TIRE CENTER AND ALSO BY A HONDA DEALER. AFTER THE HONDA SERVICE THE LIGHT REMAINED OFF FOR I DAY. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE BUT I WAS NOT NOTIFIED AND THERE IS NOT A RECALL. I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO IGNORE IT ...REALLY THAT IS THE ANSWER!
I BOUGHT MY CAR BRAND NEW AT THE END OF 2013. ON OLD MORNING AND SPORADICALLY AND COOL MORNINGS IN THE SPRING AND FALL THERE IS A LOUD GRINDING SOUND UNDER THE HOOD. IT LOOKS LIKE MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS ISSUE. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN 3 TIMES NOW TO A HONDA DEALER AND EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY ARE THEY CAN'T REPLICATE THE ISSUE AND DO NOT HEAR IT THEMSELVES. THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIX OR REPAIR IT YET IT SEEMS TO BE SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM.
WITH COLD STARTS (STARTING THE ENGINE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING) THERE IS A GRINDING RUMBLE FROM UNDER THE FRONT OF THE CAR THAT LASTS A SECOND OR TWO. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR, AND THE SERVICE DEPT HAS SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT. YESTERDAY, I TOOK THE CAR IN TO HAVE IT EXAMINED AND REPAIRED, AND THE HONDA SERVICE MANAGER CONFIRMED THAT THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM A DEFECTIVE VTC ACTUATOR. HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT HONDA IS CONTINUING TO PRODUCE THE SAME DEFECTIVE ACTUATOR THEY HAVE PRODUCED FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS AND THAT THE HONDA CORPORATION WILL NOT ALLOW DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS TO REPLACE THEM. "THEY'RE ALL FAULTY, SO IT WOULDN'T MATTER." THIS DEFECT IN A CRITICAL ENGINE PART MUST BE ADDRESSED AND THE PART REPLACED.
I HAVE A 2014 HONDA CRV WITH 19K MILES ON IT. I HAD THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED 9-14-14 AT 5586 MILES AND 7-27-2015 AT 14461 MILES AT THE DEALER IN ROCKWALL, TX. I HAD THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED AT DISCOUNT TIRES ON 1-13-2016 AND THE SERVICE MAN INFORMED ME THAT AT 18746 MILES THAT THE TIRES WERE HALF GONE! THE CAR CAME WITH CONTINENTAL CROSS CONTACT LX 225/65R17 TIRES 60K TIRES. I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED MUCH MORE FROM HONDA. I QUESTIONED THE SALESMAN AT THE TIME ABOUT THE TIRES AND HE ASSURED ME THESE WERE GOOD TIRES. I DO NOT CONSISTED THIS GOOD. WHY WOULD HONDA PUT SUCH POOR PREFORMING TIRES ON THERE CARS?
DID NOT DEPLOY 2016 ACCIDENT IN MOTION STREET
THE CAR IS HESITANCE DURING ACCELERATION, THE CAR VIBRATES WHILE DRIVING, MORE NOTICED DURING HIGHWAY DRIVING. HIS STARTED AUG 20,2018, WEN I START THE CAR, THE ENGINE MAKES NOISE SHAKES DURING A COLD START. HAVE BEEN TOLD NOTHING IS WRONG. BEGAN HAVING PROBLEMS IN LATE 2016 THRU MARCH 2018. THIS HAPPENS DURING COLD TEMPERATURES.
AFTER STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT WHEN IT TURNS GREEN HAD NO ACCELERATION UNTIL PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL UP AND DOWN TWICE. THIS HAS HAPPEN NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE THEN. IT SEEMS THE ENGINE STAYS AT IDLE. ALSO HAVE ISSUES WITH THE TPS LIGHT GOING ON FOR NO REASON AND NOW A GROWLING SOUND WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD AND IT IS COLD OUTSIDE BELOW 20 DEGREES WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE. MANUFACTURE NOT NOTIFIED. THESE ARE ISSUES THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED FROM OTHER CR-V OWNERS NUMEROUS TIMES A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED GET A BEFORE SOMEONE LOSSES THERE LIFE OR CAUSES OTHER TO LOOSE THEIRS.
I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN MARCH. SINCE DECEMBER, THERE ARE SOME MORNINGS, WHEN I START THE CAR, THE ENGINE AREA EMITS A GRINDING SOUND THAT LASTS FOR FOR A FEW SECONDS. THE DEALER THINKS IT'S THE VTC ACTUATOR, A PROBLEM FOR THIS CAR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE MADE AN ABNORMAL GRINDING NOISE DURING COLD WEATHER. IN ADDITION, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 17,000.
MY CR-V IS 18 MONTHS OLD AND SINCE LAST DEC. HAS THE GRINDING SOUND WHEN FIRST STARTED. THE TIRE PRESSURE SIGNAL LIGHTS UP ON OCCASION BUT WHEN TIRE PRESSURE IS CHECKED NO TIRE IS LOW. TOOK CAR TO DEALER AND THEY SAID IT COULD BE FIXED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. HOPE SO, BUT AFTER SEEING OTHER COMPLAINTS NOT SO SURE. BOUGHT THIS CAR BASED ON FRIENDS RECOMMENDATIONS AND HONDA'S REPUTATION. WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS WEBSITE PRIOR TO PURCHASE!
I BOUGHT MY CRV IN OCT 2013. FOR THE SECOND WINTER THE CONTINUES TO BE A LOUD GRINDING NOISE ON FIRST START OF THE DAY. IT MUST BE IN THE 20S OR LOWER FOR THE NOISE. THIS WINTER I HAD THE DEALER VERIFY THE PROBLEM. SAID IT'S THE VTC ACTUATOR AND HONDA IS WORKING ON IT. DEALER AGREES IT IS A DEFEAT, BUT HONDA HAS NO FIX IN PLACE. APPARENTLY REPLACING THE VTC ACTUATOR WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. HONDA HAS BEEN AWARE OF THE PROBLEM FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS NOW. STILL NO WORD. I THINKING HONDA IS JUST MOVING ON AND IGNORING THIS PROBLEM.
CAR IS ONLY 13 MONTHS OLD AND HAD A DEAD BATTERY TWICE WHEN NOTHING WAS LEFT ON. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE I SPENT $30,000 ON THIS CAR AND MY LOAN IS FOR 4 MORE YEARS. HONDA DEALERSHIP SAYS BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM IS FINE. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING FROM HONDA, CAR IS NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. I'M SCARED TO TAKE IT FAR BECAUSE I WILL GET STRANDED. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED.
2014 Honda CRV rattling noise upon cold start at 20,000 miles into owning vehicle. Dealership could not locate the problem nor witness the problem each time we reported this whenever we brought the car in for oil changes...Problem became progressively worse over the years. Now that the rattling is essentially heard every time the car is started, we have taken it in. We are told we need a "new engine" because we need a new VTC actuator. We are also told that the car is burning oil. The new engine costs $4800 (NJ). Will this solve the problem that obviously is a Honda defect? Will the new engine have VTC actuators that will not fall apart in 1 year?... Honda has known about this problem for YEARS!
WHILE SLOWING DOWN TO MAKE A LEFT TURN, I REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE GAS AND THEN MY FOOT WHEN BACK ON THE GAS, BUT THERE WAS NO POWER. I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE GAS AND THEN BACK ON TO RECOVER. THIS HAS HAPPENED A NUMBER OF TIMES AND HAVE COME CLOSE TO TWO ACCIDENTS FROM ONCOMING CARS. THE ANSWER I GET FROM MY DEALER IS THAT THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THIS PROBLEM, AND SUGGESTED TURNING THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF. I DID THIS BUT STILL HAVE EXPERIENCE THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND MUST BE CORRECTED IN A RECALL. I ALSO, LIKE A NUMBER OF OTHER HONDA OWNERS, EXPERIENCE THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMING ON. DEALER SAYS NO FIX FOR THIS.
COLD WEATHER STARTUP, GRINDING NOISE FOR A FEW SECONDS.
TPMS TPMS SYSTEM WOULD COME ON WHEN I DROVE FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. BUT ONLY WHEN I DROVE FOR OVER AN HOUR ON THE HIGHWAY. WHEN I CHECKED THE TIRE PRESSURE THERE WOULD BE NOTHING WRONG. FINALLY I ASKED A MECHANIC AND HE RECALIBRATED/REBOOTED THE SYSTEM AND IT HAS NOT COME ON SINCE. ENGINE GRINDING WHEN I START THE CAR UP AFTER IT BEING IN THE COLD OVERNIGHT THERE IS AN INITIAL GRINDING SOUND.
WHEN STARTING THE CAR, ESPECIALLY AFTER IT SITTING FOR A WHILE, IT WILL MAKE A RATCHETING SOUND AFTER STARTING. I CALLED THE DEALER WHERE PURCHASED FROM AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A VTC ACTUATOR PROBLEM THAT THERE IS NO FIX FOR. WAS TOLD THEY ARE WORKING ON IT AND WOULD HAVE A FIX IN FEBRUARY.
SOME MORNINGS WHEN STARTING THE CAR, THERE IS A GRINDING FROM UNDER THE FRONT OF THE CAR THAT LASTS A SECOND OR TWO. IT BEGAN HAPPENING THIS WINTER AT AROUND MILEAGE19K. I CALLED THE HONDA SERVICE MANAGER, HE KNOWS OF THE PROBLEM AND THAT THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM A DEFECTIVE VTC ACTUATOR. HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT HONDA IS CONTINUING TO PRODUCE THE SAME DEFECTIVE ACTUATOR THEY HAVE PRODUCED FOR THE PAST 8/9 YEARS AND THAT THE HONDA CORPORATION WILL NOT ALLOW DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS TO REPLACE THEM. I AM CONCERNED AT SOME POINT ENGINE PARTS ARE BEING DAMAGED. I THINKING HONDA IS IGNORING THIS PROBLEM.
DOES NOT BLOW HEAT OR AIR EASILY. APPEARS TO BE BLOCKED. TAKES FOREVER TO WARM OR COOL CAR. HAD 2005 HONDA CRV WITH NO PROBLEMS
TOOK VEHICLE TO GET B1 SERVICE AT HONDA DEALER. WAS NOTIFIED THAT OIL SEEPAGE WAS VISIBLE IN THE ENGINE AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED, SERVICE NOTES STATE WILL INSPECT AT NEXT SERVICE. THE CAR HAS 19,245 MILES.
TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THE PRESSURE IS AT RECOMMENDED SETTING. DOESN'T MATTER WHERE I'M DRIVING. HAVE BROUGHT THIS IN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES. THEY ALWAYS CHECK FOR ME AND TELL ME I'M FINE, AND TO JUST RESET THE LIGHT. I WOULD LOVE IF THEY COULD PROVIDE A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM, THERE MAY COME A TIME THAT I NEED TO KNOW THAT THE TIRE IS UNDERINFLATED.
THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM LIGHT COMES ON EVEN THOUGH THE AIR PRESSURE IN THE TIRES IS AT THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURE. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY, MANY TIMES AND THE DEALER CANNOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. THE LAST TIME I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THEY "RECALIBRATED" THE SYSTEM. THAT STILL DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY ADMITTED THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM CAN OCCUR WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION AND IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS OCCURRING ON A CITY STREET, HIGHWAY OR WHEN TURNING. IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME. I'M AFRAID THAT PEOPLE WILL IGNORE THESE FALSE WARNINGS AND EVENTUALLY DRIVE WITH A TIRE THAT IS ACTUALLY UNDER INFLATED.
I HAVE A 2014 HONDA CRV WITH 21,751 MILES. I ALWAYS HAVE HAD SERVICE BY HONDA REGULARLY AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. I WAS NOT DUE FOR SERVICE FOR ANOTHER MONTH WHEN I HAD A FLAT TIRE DUE TO A NAIL. I WENT TO GET THE TIRE FIXED WHEN I WAS TOLD BY THE TIRE DEALER THAT ALL 4 TIRES WERE DRY ROTTED. I WAS SKEPTICAL BECAUSE THE CAR WAS JUST 2 YEARS OLD ON OCT. 30, 2015. I TOOK IT TO A FRIEND WHO IS A MECHANIC AND ASKED HIM ABOUT "PLUGGING" MY TIRE JUST TO SEE IF HE WOULD SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE TIRES BEING DRY ROTTED. HE TOOK THE TIRE OFF AND KEPT EXAMINING IT, THEN STARTED LOOKING AT THE OTHER TIRES THEN HE SAID ALL FOUR TIRES HAVE DRY ROT. HE SUGGESTED 4 NEW TIRES AND HE DOES NOT SELL TIRES. I CALLED THE HONDA DEALER BUT HE DID NOT GET BACK TO ME UNTIL LATER THAT DAY. I CALLED CONTINENTAL AND WAS DIRECTED TO ONE OF THEIR DEALERS. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT A BIG DEAL AND THEY WOULD ONLY PRO RATE THE TIRES NOT REPLACE THEM FOR FREE. I TOLD CONTINENTAL WHY WOULD I WANT THE SAME TIRES ON MY CAR AGAIN? THAT'S LIKE LETTING THE DOG BITE YOU IN THE BUTT!. NEEDLESS TO SAY I ENDED UP BUYING 4 NEW TIRES (DIFFERENT BRAND) AT THE COST OF $520.86. I WAS DRIVING FROM VEGAS TODAY 10/3 AFTERNOON TO LOS ANGELES. I WAS ON CRUISE FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AT LEAST. KEPT IT AROUND 70-71 BASED ON THE SPEED LIMIT. THERE WAS ONE POINT WHEN THE VEHICLE INCREASED THE SPEED AUTOMATICALLY TO 80-82 IN CRUISE. I WAS NOT INCREASING THE VALUE NOR MY LEG WAS ON THE ACCELERATOR. IT WAS SURPRISING AND SCARY. LUCKILY THE ROADS WERE FREE. ELSE THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A REAR END OR SOME OTHER THING. I HAD TO STEP ON BRAKE TO REMOVE THE VEHICLE FROM CRUISE. I AM A FAN OF HONDA AND HAD AN ACCORD 2006- 2008 AND THEN A CRV 2008 TILL 2014 AND FINALLY A 2014 CRV. OTHER OLD ONES DID NOT HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM. THIS ONE SCARED ME OUT OF MY SKIN.
WHEN ON A CURVY ROAD THE CAR SOMETIMES MAKES LOUD NOISES THUMPING NOISES AND THE PANSANGER FLOOR VIBRATES VIOLENTLY LIKE THE CAR IS GOING TO FALL A PART. CAR IS ONLY 13 MONTHS OLD AND I BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW. IT HAS 45K MILES NOW BUT PROBLEM STARTED AT 30K MILES. THE DEALER COULD NOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND DENIED THAT THEIR WAS A PROBLEM.
ON COLD MORNINGS, THE CAR STARTS WITH A GRINDING NOISE FROM THE ENGINE FOR ABOUT A SECOND OR TWO.
GRINDING NOISE UPON CAR STARTING. UPON STARTING THE CAR THERE IS A GRINDING NOISE THAT LAST APPROXIMATELY 1-1.5 SECONDS. I FIRST NOTICED THIS SOUND ABOUT A MONTH AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NORMAL AND THAT THEY HEAR THIS COMPLAINT OFTEN. THEY SAID THAT HONDA WAS AWARE, BUT THAT THEY HAVE NOT PLACED A RECALL ON IT. I ACCEPTED THAT THEY WERE GIVING ME ACCURATE INFORMATION AND FIGURED I WOULD GET A RECALL ON IT EVENTUALLY. RECENTLY, THE CAR CONTINUES TO MAKE THE GRINDING NOISE, BUT ALSO ACTS AS IF IT DOESN'T WANT TO START ON COLD MORNINGS. MAKES THIS GRINDING NOISE APPROXIMATELY 75% OF ALL STARTS OF THE CAR SINCE PURCHASING IT. I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, AND STARTER CHECKED. WAS TOLD THAT THEY DO NOT SHOW ANY PROBLEMS.
HAS THE TENDENCY TO STALL WHEN IN MOTION ,RPM DROPS TO ZERO AND WITH NO POWER, WAS BEING DRIVEN ON CITY STREET IN SUNNY AND GOOD WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE IN THE 60'S SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, DEALER SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OF FOOT ON BRAKE PEDAL, PER HONDA TEC, AND THAT THE BRAKE WAS OVER RIDING BY THE GAS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STALL WAS NOT USING BRAKE PEDAL AT ALL.
AFTER 12000 MILES NOTICED MINOR PULSATING WHEN BRAKING. PROBLEM GOT PERSISTENTLY WORSE WHERE ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR GOING DOWN HILL AT 65 MPH. TOOK IN TO DEALER WHO PERFORMED AN INSPECTION. THEY REPORTED FRONT BRAKE ROTORWARPING DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. ALL BRAKE PADS SHOWWEED MINIMAL WEAR. I STATED TO THE DEALER THAT I FELT THIS WAS NOT NORMAL. THEY TOLD ME TO CHANGE MY DRIVING HABITS. AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION THEY DECIDED TO COVER A PORTION OF THE COST BUT STATED NEXT TIME IT WOULD BE MY RESPONSIBILITY. THIS SHOULD NOT OCCUR SO EARLY ON.
RUSTED ON MAJOR PARTS OF THE SUSPENSION THAT IS HOLDING THE BREAKING MECHANISM..

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND POWERED ON WITH A CHILD THE REAR SEAT, THE CONTACT RETURNED TO THE VEHICLE TO TURN IT OFF WHEN SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT HAD TO JUMP INSIDE THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO ATTEMPT TO STOP IT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,042.
TURNED LEFT INTO DRIVEWAY AND HIT BRAKES, CAR LURCHED FORWARD AND SPED UP. I JAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND IT STOPPED JUST BEFORE RAMMING INTO THE GARAGE DOOR. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE SECOND INCIDENT. APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH AGO, A SIMILAR THING HAPPENED AFTER I APPLIED THE BRAKES, TURNED LEFT, THEN SLIGHT RIGHT TO PULL OFF THE ROAD TO PARK. SUDDENLY, INSTEAD OF STOPPING, THE CAR LURCHED FORWARD. I SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES AND WAS ABLE TO STOP ABOUT 20 FEET FROM MY INTENDED STOPPING PLACE.
BOUGHT THIS NEW HONDA CR-V WITH 3,000 SOME ODD MILES ALREADY ON IT, SO PRACTICALLY NEW. THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT CONTINUALLY COMES ON AND EVERY TIME WE TAKE IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE WE PURCHASES IT.TO CHECK IT OUT THE ATTENDANT CAN'T FIND A PUNCTURE AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THE PRESSURE IS LEAVING.SO THEY JUST RESET IT. UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN I TOOK IT INTO FIRESTONE AND THEY REALLY EXAMINED THE CAR ONLY TO HAVE ME WALK OVER AND SEE THAT THERE ARE RIPPLES (SOME PRETTY LARGE RIPPLES) IN VARIES PLACES OF THE TIRE. HE ALSO PUSH WITH HIS FINGERS THE TIRES INWARD TO SHOW HOW EASILY THESE TIRES MADE THE RIPPLES. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCK. HE SAID THESE TIRES COULD POP AT ANY TIME. I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST PURCHASED A CAR THAT NEEDS A COMPLETE SET OF NEW TIRES. FUNNY THING IS ONE OF THE TIRES ACTUALLY DID GET FLAT MAYBE 5 MONTHS AND I REPLACED THAT TIRE WITH ANOTHER CONTINENTAL TIRE (BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IF YOU GET NEW TIRES YOU NEED TO GET AT LEAST 2 OF THE SAME) NOT WANTING TO BUY 2 NEW TIRES I OPTED JUST TO GET 1 OF THE SAME BRAND. MY CRV IS 16 MONTHS OLD; I PARKED IN MY NEW GARAGE AND ON THE NEXT DAY I START THE CAR AND FUEL IS POURING OUT OF THE TANK OR FUEL SYSTEM OR FUEL PUMP. I SHUT DOWN THE CAR DUE TO THE POLLUTION IT COULD HAVE CASUED. I CALLED THE DEALER ON MONDAY AND HAD IT TOWED. THEY TELL ME THAT A CRITTER MUST HAVE CHEWED THROUGH THE LINE. HOW COULD THIS BE. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER SCAM BY HONDA TO COVER ALL THE RECALL COSTS THEY ARE HAVING TO DEAL WITH. MY GAS TANK COULD HAVE EXPLODED BECAUSE IF WAS STEAMING ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE. THE CAR WAS PARKED WHILE WE WERE EATING BREAKFAST AT JACK IN A BOX PINEVILLE MATTHEWS. THE PASSENGER GLASS WINDOW AT THE BACK OF DRIVER SEAT JUST SHATTERED INTO FINE PIECES. OF COURSE, DOCUMENTED AS AN "AT-FAULT" ACCIDENT BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY. THE RESPONSE FROM THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WAS, (AND I DIRECTLY QUOTE), "WE COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM, BUT, WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM AGAIN, PLEASE HAVE IT TOWED TO OUR DEALERSHIP!"
