VIBRATION AT OR ABOUT 2000 RPM FELT IN STEERING WHEEL AND INTO THE CENTER CONSOLE ARM REST. REPORTED TO HONDA 3 TIMES WITH NO FIXED RESULT.
MY 2015 HONDA CR-V TOURING MODEL VIBRATES LIKE CRAZY. SOMETIMES WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. CERTAINLY MORE CONCERNING IS HAVING IT VIBRATE WHILE DRIVE 65-80 MILES AN HOUR WHILE DRIVING FROM COLORADO TO OREGON WHICH IS MY FIRST ROAD TRIP IN THIS VEHICLE. WHEN TAKING NORMAL CURVES IT IS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. LESS CONCERNING BUT STILL AN ISSUE IS THAT THE SUNROOF LEAKS WHEN GOING THROUGH A POWER WASH. HONDA'S SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO NOT GO THROUGH A POWER WASH. I SINCERELY HOPE SOMETHING CAN BE DONE BEFORE SOME ONE IS SERIOUSLY HARMED. *TR
MY FIRST ROAD TRIP IN MY NEW CR-V. DRIVING AT APPROX. 65 MILES AN HOUR IT STARTED VIBRATING VIOLENTLY. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO STEER AND MAINTAIN CONTROL. WHEN I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT STILL IN DRIVE BUT IN IDLE THE VIBRATION CONTINUED. THIS WENT OFF AND ON FOR NO APPARENT REASON FOR 758 MILES. THEN THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING. I WOULD GET A MESSAGE ACC OFF. THIS WAS ALSO INTERMITTENT THROUGH OUT THE TRIP. ON THE WAY BACK HOME DRIVING THE 758 MILES I HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS. THIS IS POTENTIALLY A DANGEROUS SITUATION AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN CONTROL WHILE DRIVING. A SIDE ISSUE, NOT DANGEROUS, THE SUNROOF LEAKS WHEN GOING THROUGH A POWER WASH. HONDAS SOLUTION... I BOUGHT 2015 CR-V ON 3/14/2015, AND NOTICED THE VIBRATION PROBLEM ONE WEEK LATER. I REPORTED TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SEVERAL TIMES, BUT THEY DENIED THE CAR HAS SUCH PROBLEM. THE VIBRATION IS GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER THAT GET ME DISTRACTED AND FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WHILE DRIVING. ON 4/11/2015 I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE SERVICE DEPT. OF DEALERSHIP, AND SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THAT NOT ONLY YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM, WE CANNOT FIX IT, AND WE ARE WAITING FOR INSTRUCTIONS FROM HONDA HEADQUARTER. I WAS SURPRISED WHEN I HEARD THIS! I CHECKED ONLINE AND FOUND SO MANY MANY COMPLAINS ABOUT THIS ISSUE SINCE LAST NOVEMBER, BUT HONDA STILL SELL CR-V ON MARKET. I THINK THIS IS IRRESPONSIBLE TO THE CUSTOMERS! HONDA SHOULD TELL THE TRUTH TO THE CUSTOMERS AND LET THEM MAKE THE CHOICE. HONDA KEEPS SAYING NO SAFETY ISSUE, HOW CAN WE BELIEVE THEM? WHY OTHER CARS DON'T HAVE SUCH PROBLEM? MIGHT BE NO SAFETY ISSUE FOR THE NEW CAR RIGHT AWAY, HOW ABOUT YEARS AFTER? HOW MANY YEARS CAN HONDA GUARANTEE? I PURCHASED MY 2015 HONDA-CRV EX-L ON MARCH 17TH 2015 FROM LIVERMORE HONDA IN CALIFORNIA AND MY NEW CAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS START VIBRATING IN IDLE,STOP AND DRIVING MODE WITH SPEED MORE THAN 60MPH AFTER DRIVING FOR MORE THAN 45 MINUTES AND THAT CAUSING ME BACK PAIN AND HEADACHE AND THIS WILL CAUSE HEALTH HAZARDS IN THE FUTURE AND THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY AND HEALTH ISSUES. A STRONG VIBRATION WHEN VEHICLE IS STOPPED AND IN DRIVE. THE VIBRATION RATTLES THE WHOLE CAR- YOU CAN SEE THE VIBRATION IN OPEN WINDOWS, THE PASSENGER SEAT, THE GEAR SHIFT. UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVE AND LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN THE SAFETY OF MY VEHICLE. SCARED TO DRIVE MY CAR ON LONG DISTANCES. FIRST HONDA- PROBABLY LAST. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING AT 58 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED WITHOUT WARNING. THE SERVICE BRAKES AND CMBS WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE P2583-92 CODE WAS RESET. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,040. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE BRAKED ON ITS OWN. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS UNPREDICTABLE AS HE AND HIS WIFE WERE ALMOST REAR ENDED. UPDATED 06/22/15. *JB
SEVERE DISTRACTING VIBRATION OF POWER TRAIN, WHEN IDLING AT STOPLIGHT, IN DRIVE, WITH FOOT ON BRAKE. ALSO VIBRATES AT LOW SPEED, UNDER POWER, IN THE 1000-2000 RPM RANGE. VERY ANNOYING AND DISTRACTING IN TRAFFIC. THE POWER TRAIN SOMETIMES EVEN SHUDDERS AS THOUGH GOING OVER A RUMBLE STRIP, PARTICULARLY WHEN UNDER LOAD, TRANSITIONING THROUGH THE 2000 RPM RANGE. NOT SURE IF IT IS ENGINE, OR TRANSMISSION, OR BOTH. MAKES ME FELL VERY INSECURE WHILE DRIVING. WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO GET RID OF VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAD A VIBRATION THAT COULD BE FELT IN THE FLOOR PAN, SEAT, GS PEDAL, AND IN THE STEERING COLUMN. THE VIBRATION MADE THE VEHICLE VERY FATIGUING TO DRIVE. THE CONSUMER WAS ADVISED TO PUT THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL AT STOPS AND TO DRIVE IN "S" GEAR WHEN DRIVING UNDER 40MPH. UPDATED 05/11/2017 *JS
CAR HESITATES/STALLS WHEN MAKING TURNS.
THE PART IS PROTECTOR 91720, PN: 52352-T1G-E01. IT IS SMALL PLASTIC PART TO PROTECT REAL WHEEL AXLE OR BODY STRUCTURE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR. WHEN MY CAR HAS SOME VIBRATE (IT DID NOT HIT ANYTHING), THE PART FALLEN TO THE FLOOR. AND ONE SIDE OF THE PART IS STILL ON THE CAR. IT MADE THE CAR SPEED SUDDENLY SLOW BECAUSE THE ONE END OF PARTS IS DRAGGING ON THE ROAD. THE PART IS NO SCREW ON FALLEN SIDE. THE PART IS BROKEN NOW. THE DEALER AGENT TOLD ME IT IS NOT ON THE CAR WARRANTY AND I NEED PAY IT. I THINK IT MAY CAUSED MORE SAFETY ISSUE IF I DRIVE ON THE HIGH WAY WHEN IT HAPPEN. *TR
MY HONDA CRV 2015 LX MODEL VIBRATES AT STOP, ALL SIGNAL LIGHTS AND BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC, ITS REALLY DISTRACTING THE DRIVE AND DRIVER. FILED A COMPLAINT WITH AMERICA HONDA, BUT NO USE. THEY DON'T HAVE FIX RIGHT NOW.
MY HONDA CR-V VIBRATES AT IDLE WHILE IN GEAR AT APPROXIMATELY 500-600 RPMS. IT ALSO VIBRATES WHILE ACCELERATING AT ALL SPEEDS UNDER APPROXIMATELY 2100-2200 RPMS. THIS CAN'T BE GOOD FOR THE LONGEVITY OF THE ENGINE AND IS DISTRACTING, HENCE A SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
I BOUGHT A HONDA CRV 2015 EX-L. AFTER DRIVING IT FOR ONE DAY EXPERIENCED SERIOUS VIBRATIONS IN DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT WHILE DRIVING AND EVEN MORE INTENSE WHEN IDLING. I NOTICED AN ANNOYING VIBRATION UPON SMOOTH ACCELERATION, BETWEEN 1000 AND 1500 RPM. I HAD NOT NOTICED THIS PROBLEM ON THE DEMO I TEST DROVE, I FEEL THAT I PAY 30000 DOLLAR FOR VIBRATIG CHAIR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND VIBRATED ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT REMEDY FOR THE CONDITION. THE DEALER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEWLY DESIGNED ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION/POWER TRAIN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CONDITION CONTINUED TO PROGRESS WITH NO SOLUTION TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED NO PERMANENT REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 800. SJ
I PURCHASED A HONDA CRV SEVERAL DAYS AGO AND FOUND THERE IS A VERY STRONG DISTRACTING VIBRATION IN THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT SEATS WHILE DRIVING. THE SEATS SHAKE. IT ALMOST CAUSED ME TO GET IN AN ACCIDENT YESTERDAY. THE VIBRATION CONTINUES TO GET WORSE. IT IS CONSTANT BUT VERY PRESENT UPON IDLING OR COMING TO A STOP. THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AS WELL AS HONDA BUT NO FIX AVAILABLE. *TR
WHEN THE CAR IS IN "DRIVE" AND WHILE SITTING STILL AT A LIGHT OR WITH THE FOOT ON THE BRAKE, THE ENGINE IDLE SPEED DROPS DOWN AND THE ENTIRE CAR VIBRATES. HONDA SAYS THAT THIS IS SIMPLY A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR AND HAS SO FAR NOT OFFERED ANY TYPE OF REPAIR OR REMEDY. MANY OF THE OTHER OWNERS HAVE POSTED THE SAME VIBRATION PROBLEM AT SEVERAL WEBSITES INCLUDING THE HONDA OWNERS BLOG SITES. PLEASE INVESTIGATE TO SEE IF SOME REMEDY CAN BE FOUND AND THE ISSUE CAN BE RESOLVED. THERE IS A PRONOUNCED VIBRATION WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED AND ALSO WHEN THE RPM ARE AT 1200 . IT MAKES STEERING THE CAR DIFFICULT AND THE RIDE FEEL UNSTABLE. THE STEERING WHEELS SHAKES VIOLENTLY. ALSO WHEN YOU SHIFT THE CAR OR PUT IN PARK THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO ROLL SLIGHTLY OR DOES NOT REACT QUICKLY TO THE CHANGING OF THE GEAR. *TR

WHEN CAR IS FIRST STARTED IT DRIVES FINE BUT ONCE THE ENGINE REACHES OPERATING TEMPERATURE AT ABOUT 15MPH TO 30MPH THERE IS A VIBRATION FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL. IF I LET OFF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THE VIBRATION STOPS OR WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS INTO THE NEXT GEAR THE VIBRATION STOPS. PROBLEM ONLY SEEMS TO BE AT LOW SPEEDS AS CAR SEEMS TO DRIVE GOOD WITH NO VIBRATIONS FROM 30 MPH TO 65 MPH. HONDA DEALER SALESPERSON TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE NEW CVT TRANSMISSION. I CALLED HONDA USA AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NO KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALER FOR A CHECK. THE DEALER AFTER CHECKING THE CAR TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. THIS WAS ON MARCH 23, 2015. ON MARCH 24, 2015 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE HONDA DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE STATING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THESE NEW TRANSMISSIONS AND THAT HONDA IS TRYING TO FIND A FIX BUT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW LONG ITS GOING TO TAKE TO FIGURE WHAT THE FIX IS GOING TO BE. TODAY MARCH 25, 2015 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM HONDA USA CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYING THAT THE SYMPTOMS THAT I'M EXPERIENCING IN THE CAR ARE A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR. I INFORMED HER THAT I SPOKE TO THE DEALER REP AND HE TOLD ME THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE TRANSMISSION AND SHE SAID SHE WASN'T INFORMED ABOUT IT. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I PAID $26,000 FOR A CAR THAT VIBRATES AT LOW SPEEDS, THAT MY WIFE WON'T DRIVE BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T FEEL SAFE IN IT, AND HONDA USA IS TELLING ME ITS NORMAL FOR THE CAR TO DO THIS. TALK ABOUT BEING FED A LINE OF BULL. NOW LETS SEE WHAT IF ANYTHING THE GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO DO BECAUSE THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THESE VEHICLES. *TR
JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR A MONTH AGO AND HAD TO TAKE MY CAR TO DEALER TWICE FOR SEVERE VIBRATIONS WHEN MY CAR IS IN IDLE. DEALER LET ME KNOW THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT DOES NOT HAVE A FIX. VIBRATIONS BEGAN ON NEAR PASSENGER SEAT BUT NOW CAN BE FELT IN THE ENTIRE CAR. THEY ARE DISTRACTING AND CAUSE ME TO BE NAUSEOUS SINCE I HAVE A LONG COMMUTE IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. *TR
A FEW DAYS AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I BEGAN TO NOTICE A VIBRATION ON THE FRONT END, MOSTLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND MOST SEVERE AT 60-70 MPH RANGE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE 3 TIMES IN MARCH. THE FIRST TIME THEY BALANCED ALL THE TIRES, THE SECOND TIME THEY PUT TWO NEW TIRES IN THE FRONT. I DROVE IT ON A TRIP (ABOUT 600 MILES TOTAL) AND IT WAS EXTREMELY IRRITATING THE WHOLE TIME I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. THE THIRD VISIT TO THE DEALER AND I DROVE IT WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NORMAL. WE THEN DROVE ANOTHER NEW 2015 CRV AND IT DROVE THE SAME WAY. HIS BEST SUGGESTION WAS TO INVEST IN MICHELINS TO REDUCE THE ROAD NOISE. HE CALLED BACK ABOUT A WEEK LATER TO LET ME KNOW THERE WERE "SOME KNOWN ISSUES" AND HE LET ME KNOW IT THEY FOUND A FIX. I THEN SEARCHED NHTSA ONLY TO DISCOVER SIMILAR PROBLEMS LISTED , SO HERE I AM, POSTING MY COMPLAINT TO ADD TO THE LIST. HONDA HAS ALSO POSTED TO ANNOUNCE THEY'LL BE RECALLING CERTAIN VEHICLES TO REPLACE THE ENGINE BLOCK BUT YET TO RECEIVE A LETTER AT THIS POINT FOR MINE. I ALSO EXPERIENCE THE VIBRATION AT IDLING, WHICH IS ALSO ANNOYING, BUT IT WAS NOTED ON CONSUMER REPORTS WHEN I RESEARCHED BEFORE BUYING THE CAR SO THERE YA GO. AT THIS POINT THE MAIN FIX NEEDS TO BE THE VIBRATION AT DRIVING SPEED, AND I THEY NEED TO ADDRESS THE IDLING ISSUE TOO. I SHOULD MENTION THE SERVICE MANAGER HAS KEPT IN CONTACT WITH ME AND SAID HE IS DETERMINED TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. *TR
THIS IS REGARDING A BRAND NEW 2015 HONDA CR-V BOUGHT FROM A HONDA DEALER IN NORTHRIDGE, CA. STARTED NOTICING A VIBRATION OF THE SEATS WHEN I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT(IN D GEAR WITH BRAKES FULLY PRESSED). BEING A HOT DAY, I THOUGHT IT WAS THE A/C CAUSING THE VIBRATION. LATER THAT DAY, WITHOUT THE A/C RUNNING, THE VIBRATION HAD INCREASED. I REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT IN WHEN MY ACCESSORIES WOULD ARRIVE IN A FEW DAYS. CHECKED INTO SERVICE DEPARTMENT WITH THE CAR AFTER A WEEK AND THE SERVICE MECHANIC CLAIMED THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. UPON INSISTENCE, HE BROUGHT OUT A SIMILAR CAR AND SHOWED THAT THE VIBRATION EXISTED ON THAT CAR AS WELL AND THAT THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. RESEARCHING ONLINE I FIND THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS FORUMS, INCLUDING A FACEBOOK PAGE AND A HONDA OWNERS FORUM THAT REFLECTS THE ISSUE FACED BY MANY OTHER OWNERS OF THE NEW 2015 MODEL HONDA CR-V. I WOULD LIKE TO FORMALLY REQUEST AN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS ISSUE SINCE AMERICAN HONDA REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE. *TR

EVERYDAY IT GETS WORSE AND IT IS NOW HAPPENING EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT. I CALLED MY SERVICE ADVISOR AND TOLD HIM ABOUT IT AND THAT I WANTED TO BRING IT IN. HE SAID DON'T BOTHER TO BRING IT IN. PURCHASED THE 2015 CRV IN FEBRUARY 2015. APPROXIMATELY A WEEK AFTER MAKING THE PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE BEGAN EXTENSIVELY VIBRATING WHILE STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN, WITH THE VEHICLE ENGAGED IN THE DRIVE POSITION AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS PRESSED. I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THAT THE RPM'S DROPPED BELOW 600. THE VIBRATION IS FELT IN BOTH THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS SEATS, BUT MORESO IN THE DRIVERS SEAT. IT FEELS AS THOUGH THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO STALL OUT. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AS I HAVE THE CONSTANT FEAR THAT IT IS GOING TO STALL OUT AT ANY GIVEN TIME. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER ON FOUR OCCASIONS, BUT THEY STATE THEY CANNOT REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM SO THEY HAVE BEEN OF NO HELP. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM BY HONDA, BUT IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THEY ARE MERELY BRUSHING IT OFF IN HOPES THAT THE COMPLAINTS WILL STOP.

CAR HAS SIGNIFICANT VIBRATIONS WHEN RPMS ARE IN LOW END OF RANGE. I BROUGHT IN FOR THEM TO LOOK WITH 1169 MILES ON ODOMETER ON MARCH 18 AND WAS TOLD IT IS "CONSISTENT" WITH OTHER CRVS. I STATED THAT VIBRATIONS WERE IN THE RANGE OF 1500-2000 RPMS. AS OF APRIL 14, ISSUE HAS GOTTEN WORSE, WITH VIBRATIONS RANGING FROM 600-2500. I NOW FEEL SLIPPAGE DURING ACCELERATION. VERY UNNERVING. AFTER TEN DAYS OF OWNING THIS CAR TODAY IS THE FIRST TIME THAT EXPERIENCED ENGINE VIBRATION AT IDLE WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT. THE VIBRATION IS FELT THROUGH THE CABIN AND THE DRIVER SEAT. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. THE ENGINE VIBRATION IS NOTICED AROUND 550 600 RPM. IF THE AC IS TURNED ON THE RPM INCREASE AND THE VIBRATION GOES AWAY. I HAVE BROUGHT A BRAND NEW HONDA 2015 CRV FROM ONE OF THE HONDA DEALER IN SAN LEANDRO, CA. FEW DAYS LATER, I NOTICED SOME VIBRATION ON THE FRONT SEATS OF THE CAR WHEN I AM AT THE STOP SIGN/SIGNAL WITH CAR IS IN THE DRIVE MODE (D) WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE PADDLE. THE VIBRATION IS RANDOM AND NOT ALWAYS BUT CAN BE FEEL AT THE BACK OF YOUR BODY AND IT IS VERY STRONG SOMETIME THAT AS A DRIVER YOU GET DISTRACTED AND FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WHILE DRIVING. IF YOU HAVE TO ARE STUCK IN SOME TRAFFIC JAM AND HAVE TO STOP LONGER THEN THE VIBRATION ON BOTH THE FRONT SEAT IS QUITE NOTICING AND CAUSES IRRITATION ON THE BACK AND YOU CANNOT SIT FOR LONG IN WHILE THE SEATS VIBRATING. AND I REPORTED THE ISSUE TO THE DEALER, THEY TOLD ME THEY ARE HELPLESS AND CANNOT DO ANYTHING AND ASKED ME TO CONTACT AMERICAN HONDA. MOST OF THE 2015 HONDA CRV HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, AND IT'S BEEN MORE THEN 8 MONTHS, BUT HONDA DID NOT TAKE ANY ACTION TO FIX IT!
THE 2015 HONDA CR-V HAS A PROBLEM WITH A VIBRATION WHILE THE CAR IS STOPPED IDLE AND IN DRIVE AT SLOW SPEEDS THE IDLING OCCURS AT EVERY STOP LIGHT, AND IN HEAVY HIGHWAY BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC. THE VIBRATIONS ARE EXPERIENCED IN THE FRONT PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEATS AND CENTER CONSOLE. DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS EXPERIENCE MOTION SICKNESS INCLUDING HEADACHES, NAUSEA. ANY NEW PASSENGER IN MY VEHICLE IS STARTLED BY THE VIBRATIONS. EVERY NEW PASSENGER COMMENTS ABOUT THE STARTLING VIBRATIONS. SOME PASSENGERS EVEN SCREAM DUE TO THE STARTLING VIBRATIONS. ALL OF THIS IS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER WHO IS TRYING TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRAFFIC. THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT IS HESITATING AND WILL STALL WHEN THE GAS PETAL IS DEPRESSED. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED YET, BUT THE ISSUE IS GETTING WORSE NOT BETTER. HONDA ADMITS TO THIS ISSUE, BUT OFFERS NO RESOLUTION AND CALLS THIS MERELY AN ANNOYANCE. THIS ISSUE IS GETTING WORSE AND THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE TO FIX THE ISSUE. I AM NOT CERTAIN IF THE ISSUE IS THE MOTOR, TRANSMISSION, OR FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. IT COULD BE ANY OF THOSE SYSTEMS. THE ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE CR-V MORE FUEL EFFICIENT BY USING THE HONDA ACCORD'S ENGINE HAS BEEN A FAILURE AND RESULTED IN A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE CARS.

I AM AFRAID THAT THIS WILL CAUSE A MAJOR ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION FAILURE IN THE FUTURE IF IT IS NOT ADDRESSED. I AM NOT SURE HOW THIS COULD BE A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CVT TRANSMISSION BECAUSE I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER WHO OWNS A 2014 HONDA ACCORD WITH THE SAME CVT AND POWERTRAIN AND THE ISSUE DOES NOT EXIST. AT FIRST, THEY SAID THERE IS NO FIX FOR THE ISSUE YET. NOW THEY SEEM TO HAVE SHIFTED THEIR RESPONSE TO "THIS IS A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC". ON 2/6/15 WHILE DRIVING ON US 17,COASTAL HIGHWAY, JUST OFF I-95 SOUTH, EXIT 87 ENROUTE TO HINESVILLE, GA, MY WIFE AND I HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION INSIDE OUR CAR. WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED AT FIRST, BUT SUDDENLY OBSERVED THERE WAS A HOLE IN OUR MOONROOF. AFTER SAFELY PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, WE INSPECTED THE DAMAGE. WE SAW THAT A FEW PIECES OF GLASS AND SOME GLASS DUST HAD DROPPED DOWN ONTO OUR CONSOLE, BUT ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT. LOOKING AT THE DAMAGE FROM OUTSIDE OUR CAR, WE SAW THAT THE REMAINING GLASS NEXT TO THE HOLE, WHICH WAS ABOUT 10 INCHES IN DIAMETER, WAS POINTED TOWARD THE SKY. THIS WAS THE CASE FROM ALL AROUND THE HOLE IN THE GLASS. MY IMMEDIATE THOUGHT WAS THAT THE GLASS HAD BLOWN OUTWARD MEANING THAT THE GLASS HAD EXPLODED UPWARD FROM INSIDE THE CAR. IF WE HAD DRIVEN UNDER AN OVERPASS, I COULD UNDERSTAND THAT SOMEONE HAD POSSIBLY DROPPED A ROCK OR OTHER PROJECTILE ONTO THE TOP OF THE CAR WHICH HIT THE MOONROOF GLASS. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. THERE ALSO WERE NO OTHER VEHICLES NEARBY, THERE WERE NO PEOPLE ALONGSIDE THE ROAD AND THE TREE LINE WAS ABOUT 30 YARDS OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SO IF ANYONE HAPPENED TO BE THROWING ROCKS FROM THE TREES, THEY WOULD HAVE HAD A VERY LONG THROW. THERE ALSO WAS NO SOUND OF A ROCK HITTING THE MOONROOF GLASS OR NO EVIDENCE OF A ROCK OR OTHER PROJECTILE AFTER THE GLASS EXPLODED. I CONCLUDE THE EXPLOSION WAS CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE GLASS OR INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE GLASS. I DECIDED TO SUBMIT THIS COMPLAINT BECAUSE I BELIEVE THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY MATTER THAT DESERVES YOUR ATTENTION. IF OTHER TRAFFIC HAD BEEN NEARBY, THE EXTREMELY LOUD EXPLOSION COULD HAVE CERTAINLY DISTRACTED ME ENOUGH THAT I COULD HAVE EASILY HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE OR VEHICLES. *TR
