SOON AFTER PURCHASE, I NOTICED A DISTINCT VIBRATION THROUGHOUT THE CAR DURING IDLE AND MODERATE ACCELERATION AT NEARLY ALL SPEEDS WHEN RPM WAS AT 1800-2200. DEALER SERVICE PEOPLE DID NOT KNOW THE CAUSE, INDICATED A NUMBER OF OTHER CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS, GUESSED IT ORIGINATED IN COMPUTERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE TRANSMISSION OR DIFFERENTIAL, COULD NOT FIX IT, CLAIMED IT IS NOT A SAFETY MATTER, ADVISED TO CONTACT HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE, SAID IT IS A PRIORITY AT HONDA, AND MENTIONED NUMEROUS REPORTS AND COMPLAINTS ON BLOGS AND TV (7 ON YOUR SIDE WJLA, FEB 25, 2015) THE VIBRATION IS UNPLEASANT, ANNOYING AND DISTRACTING. OVER TIME THE SHUDDERING MAY DEVELOP INTO A SAFETY MATTER. PLEASE PUT PRESSURE ON HONDA TO RESEARCH THE PROBLEM AND MAKE A FIX OR RESTITUTION AS SOON AS THEY CAN AND CERTAINLY BEFORE INJURIES AND DEATHS OCCUR BECAUSE OF IT. *TR
WEIRD VIBRATIONS AT RPM SPEED OF 1000-2000. FEELS LIKE THE DRIVE-LINE, TRANSMISSION OR WHO KNOWS WHAT IS VIBRATING. VERY ANNOYING IN A BRAND NEW HONDA CRV $32000 CAR!! NO SOLUTION FROM DEALER OR HONDA.
PURCHASED VEHICLE 1/29/15 ALMOST IMMEDIATELY NOTICED WHEN YOU ACCELERATE THE VEHICLE VIBRATES, LET IT GO THINKING NEW CAR NEEDS TO GET BROKEN IN. 1400 MILES LATER, THE CAR IS STILL DOING IT, ACTUALLY I THINK IT'S WORSE. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY CONFIRMED THERE IS A VIBRATION WHEN YOU ACCELERATE AND CONTINUES WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING. DEALER SAID HONDA IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT DOESN'T HAVE A FIX FOR IT YET. IN FACT, THE MECHANIC AT THE DEALERSHIP SAID ABOUT EIGHT (8) OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I CONTACTED HONDA, ONLY TO BE TOLD THIS IS A "CONDITION" THEY ARE AWARE OF AND ARE INVESTIGATING, HOWEVER, SINCE THEY DON'T FEEL THERE IS A SAFETY CONCERN, THEY COULD NOT COMMIT TO WHEN A REPAIR PROCEDURE WOULD BE INSTITUTED. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. HOW CAN YOUR CAR VIBRATING WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING NOT BE A SAFETY CONCERN, HOW CAN ANYTHING THAT AFFECTS THE DRIVEABILITY OF YOUR VEHICLE NOT BE A SAFETY CONCERN. I CAN'T EVEN RID OF IT, WHAT DEALER IS NOT GOING TO QUESTION THAT VIBRATING. HONDA SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO FIND A FIX FOR THIS ISSUE OR REPLACE THE AFFECTED VEHICLES BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE VIBRATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO WAS UNABLE DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30.
I PURCHASED NEW 2015 HONDA CRV EX-L 01/21/2015. ONLY 3 MILE ON IT. IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASED, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED SEVERE VIBRATION WHEN THE CAR FULLY STOP AND ON "D" POSITION. IDLE IS VERY LOW , AROUND 550 RPM, AND VEHICLE JUST SHAKES AND PASSENGER SEAT VIBRATES. VIBRATIONS CAN BE FELT THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL, AND CREATE A DISTRACTION DURING DRIVING. BROUGHT IT IN DEALERSHIP FOR CHECKING, THEY SAID EVERYTHING IS NORMAL???. THIS IS ABNORMAL COMPARE TO OTHERS NEW CAR. I TRUST THE "HONDA" NAME, BUT NOW MAKE ME DISAPPOINTED. I SHOULD BUY THE TOYOTA RAV4 RATHER THAN BUYING THIS CRV. HONDA NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP. *TR
THIS 2015 HONDA CRV EX MODEL WHEN IDLING AT A STOP SIGN OR IN TRAFFIC IT VIBRATES TERRIBLY. IF I SIT IDLE AT A STOP SIGN OR TRAFFIC LIGHT FOR SOMETIME THE VIBRATION BECOMES SO ANNOYING I NEED TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF. THE OTHER ISSUE IS BETWEEN 1000 AND 2000 RPM AND BETWEEN 20 MPH AND 30 MPH THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT VIBRATION WHICH MAKES ME FEEL VERY UNEASY THAT THE CAR IS SHIFTING PROPERLY AND THAT IT IS SAFE TO TAKE ON A HIGHWAY. IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO REALIZE THAT IT WAS A PROBLEM AND NOW I HAVE 2000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND CONTACTED HONDA. I ALSO LOOKED ONLINE AND HAVE NOTICED APPROXIMATELY 80,000 PEOPLE THAT I'VE HAD THIS ISSUE. I SPOKE TO THE SERVICE MANAGER OVER AT SLOAN HONDA LOCATED IN PHILADELPHIA PENNSYLVANIA ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND HE EXPLAINED THAT HE WOULD LOVE TO FIX MY VEHICLE AS OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED OF THIS PROBLEM. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THAT THE DEALER AND HIS SERVICE SHOP MAKES MONEY OFF OF REPAIRS. I WOULD LIKE TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE BUT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO.MY MAJOR CONCERN IS IF I AM DOING 55 TO 65 MPH ON A BUSY HIGHWAY WHETHER THE CAR IS GOING TO FAIL BECAUSE HONDA DOESN'T KNOW WHY THESE VIBRATIONS ARE OCCURRING AT IDOL AND VARIOUS SPEEDS. *TR
MY 2015 CRV HONDA HAS A VIBRATION AT MANY SPEEDS BUT MOSTLY AROUND 2000 RPM. I HAVE CONTACTED HONDA 3 DIFFERENT TIMES TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE AND WHILE THEY ARE AWARE OF IT THE IS NO FIX. I FILED THE "LEMON LAW" IN MAINE BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD I NEED TO PROVE IT AFFECTS VALUE. HOW DO YOU DO THAT WHEN HONDA WILL NOT STATE THAT IN WRITING??? MY 2015 HONDA CRV TOURING HAD SURGED DURING INITIAL START THE PAST FEW DAYS. I THOUGHT MY FOOT HIT BOTH BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR DURING START UP. IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY. I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE AND BACKED OUT OF THE GARAGE WHEN THE SURGING STOPPED. I SHUT THE CAR DOWN AND WAITED FOR MY SPOUSE TO ARRIVE. WHEN I STARTED THE CAR AGAIN IT SURGED TO 4000 RPM THEN STOPPED. I SHUT THE CAR DOWN WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON. I AGAIN STARTED THE CAR TO PUT IT BACK INTO THE GARAGE RPMS NORMAL, SHIFTED INTO DRIVE AND THE CAR LEAPED FORWARD A COUPLE OF FEET BEFORE I COULD STOP IT AND PUT IT IN PARK. THE CAR WAS AT THIS TIME SURGING AND PULSING AROUND 4000 RPM AND WOULD NOT STOP. I SHUT THE CAR DOWN AND HAD IT TOWED TO MY HONDA DEALER SINCE I COULD NOT DRIVE IT. *TR
BRAND NEW VEHICLE ON THE THIRD TRIP FROM HOME. THE HESITATION/VIBRATION PROBLEM IS NOTICEABLE (INTERMITTENT SHUDDERING AS IF A WHEEL IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND/OR THE VEHICLE HAS JUST HIT A PATCH OF BLACK ICE, BUT RELATED TO THE NEWLY DESIGNED CRV TRANSMISSION, A PROBLEM COMMON TO ALL CRV 2015 THAT DOES NOT YET HAVE A FIX) BUT WHAT REALLY STUNNED ME WAS A SUDDEN EXTREMELY HIGH REV WHEN GOING DOWN A SMALL HILL. I WAS BRAKING LIGHTLY AT THE TIME. (SERVICE TOLD ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTS ON HILLS, SO, USING THE BRAKE CAUSED THIS. ??!!) IT DIDN'T LAST LONG, BUT THE ENGINE RACED SO COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT FEEL SAFE, AND ONE HAD THE SENSE THAT MOTION HAD SEIZED UP, ALTHOUGH IT KEPT MOVING. THE NOISE WAS INCREDIBLE. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN FOR A WHILE, AND I ASSUMED IT WAS DUE TO USING THE BRAKE ON A HILL (!!??). I STOPPED USING THE BRAKE ON HILLS AND NOTICED THAT THE TRANSMISSION DIDN'T ALWAYS DOWNSHIFT, SOMETIMES IT SHIFTED UP AS THE VEHICLE GAINED SPEED! WHAT TO DO... I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN TO SERVICE ABOUT THE VIBRATION ISSUE, ON THE 28TH JAN, AND WAS TOLD THAT ALL CRV 2015 HAVE THIS ISSUE AND THERE'S NO FIX YET. I LEFT CHEERFULLY ENOUGH, AND DRIVING HOME, THE SURGE/REV HAPPENED AGAIN, GOING UP A HILL, WITH NO USE OF THE BRAKE. I CALLED MY SALESMAN, AND THE NEXT MORNING RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK, BECAUSE THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. HE WOULDN'T GIVE MY MONEY BACK UNTIL THIS PROBLEM IS PROVEN BY A HONDA CANADA ENGINEER ON THIS OR ON ANOTHER CRV 2015 VEHICLE. I LEFT THE CAR THERE. CANADIANS-- I NEED YOUR HELP IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM! SEE THE CRV LIST AND FIND ME THERE. I OWNED IT FOR 20 DAYS, A LITTLE OVER 1000K (50 MILES). THE DEALER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEWLY DESIGNED ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION/POWER TRAIN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CONDITION CONTINUED TO PROGRESS WITH NO SOLUTION TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS NAUSEOUS FREQUENTLY WHEN THE VEHICLE VIBRATED AND SHOOK. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED NO PERMANENT REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
NEW 2015 HONDA CR-V IS EXPERIENCING STRONG VIBRATIONS IN IDLE. FELT IN SEAT, PASSENGER SEAT, STEERING WHEEL, GAS PEDAL, MIDDLE CONSOLE, ETC. I ALSO FEEL VIBRATIONS THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL, GAS PEDAL, AND CAR ITSELF WHILE DRIVING AT LOWER SPEEDS. I CAN EVEN SEE THE PASSENGER-SEAT BACK SHAKING WHEN IN IDLE. HONDA ACKNOWLEDGES IT'S A PROBLEM, BUT DO NOT HAVE A TIMEFRAME OF WHEN FIX WILL HAPPEN. NOT SURE WHAT DAMAGE IS BEING DONE TO CAR DURING THESE HIGH FREQUENCY VIBRATIONS. HOW CAN ANYTHING THAT AFFECTS THE DRIVEABILITY OF CAR NOT BE A SAFETY CONCERN? HARD ON THE HANDS TO HOLD ON TO VIBRATING STEERING WHEEL. STEERING WHEEL SHAKES AND THE CAR HAS MORE VIBRATIONS FROM TIME TO TIME WHEN THE CAR IS STOPPED AT LIGHTS ETC.
I PURCHASED A NEW 2015 HONDA CR V IN NOVEMBER 2014. THE TEST DRIVE WAS PERFECT. HOWEVER, I BEGAN TO NOTICE SLIGHT VIBRATION IN MY DRIVER'S SEAT AT STOP LIGHTS AND ANYTIME CAR WAS IDLING IN DRIVE WITH FOOT ON BRAKE. I CONTACTED MT LOCAL DEALER WHO TOLD ME I MUST CONTACT HONDA CORPORATION AND OPEN A CASE FILE ON MY CAR. I CONTACTED HONDA CORPORATE AND WAS TOLD THEY ARE INVESTIGATING BUT HAVE NO IDEA IF OR WHEN THIS VIBRATION CAN BE STOPPED. THE VIBRATION SEEMS TO GET WORSE AS MILEAGE INCREASES. THE CAR HAD 3,400 MILES ON IT WHEN I DECIDED TO TRADE THE CRV AND TAKE THE LOSS FINANCIALLY. I PAID CASH FOR THE CAR, BUT THE VIBRATION SEEMED TO GET WORSE DAILY AND FELT IT WAS NOT WORTH THE RISK TO JEOPARDIZE MY POSSIBLE SAFETY. I AM VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HONDA AND WILL NO LONGER PURCHASE ANY HONDA VEHICLE. *TR
CAR HAS A BAD VIBRATION AND SHUTTERING WHILE IDLING AND AT AROUND 60 MPH. IT SHAKES AND CAN BE NAUSEATING AT TIMES. PAID OVER 30,000 FOR A CAR THAT IS UNCOMFORTABLE AND MAKES ME SICK. I DON'T FEEL SAFE!!! HONDA DEALER SAYS IN A "CHARACTERISTIC" OF THE CAR. SOMETHING IS DEFIANTLY WRONG!!! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SHOOK AND VIBRATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO DETERMINED THAT THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE BALANCE AND PERFORMED ALL NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE AND NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURE DISCLOSED TO THE DEALER THAT THE FAILURE WAS A DIRECT RESULT OF A DESIGN ERROR, WITH NO KNOWN REMEDY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,800.
THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING WARNING LIGHT CONTINUALLY ACTIVATES WHEN DRIVING AND THERE IS NO ISSUE OR PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THE TIRES WHEN CHECKED. THE LIGHT ACTIVATES UNDER ALL DRIVING CONDITIONS, I.E., SMOOTH ROAD VERSUS ROUGH ROAD. TWICE I HAVE DRIVEN IN EXCESS OF 400 MILES IN ONE DAY AND IT DID NOT ACTIVATE FOLLOWED BY PERIODS OF DRIVING WHERE IT ACTIVATES MULTIPLE TIMES DURING THE DRIVING PERIOD. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN CHECKED MULTIPLE TIMES BY THE DEALERSHIP BUT NO MALFUNCTION CAN BE IDENTIFIED. THIS ISSUE BEGAN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING PURCHASE AND HAS CONTINUED THROUGHOUT OWNERSHIP.

ONE THAT IN SPITE OF INNUMERABLE VISITS TO MY LOCAL DEALER AND WHAT WOULD APPEAR TO BE A SERIOUS CONCERN ON THEIR PART, REMAINS UNSOLVED. THE VEHICLE IS A 2015 HONDA CRV, VIN # [XXX] PURCHASED FROM GILLMAN HONDA IN RICHMOND, TEXAS, BUT SERVICED LOCALLY BY VICTORY HONDA IN VICTORIA, TEXAS. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS THAT OF 9,838 MILES. THE PROBLEM I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IS THAT OF A " CHECK TIRE" MESSAGE THAT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY. THE SIGNAL HAS TURNED ON, ABOUT ONCE A WEEK SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR. VICTORY HONDA HAS EXAMINED THE CAR ON AL LEAST TWELVE OCCASIONS, I HAVE TAKEN IT TO MY TIRE DEALER AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH AND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED. THIS HAS BECOME VERY ANNOYING, ON ONE HAND BECAUSE I NEVER KNOW THE TRUE STATUS OF THE TIRES AND I HAVE EXPENDED A LOT OF TIME AND HAVE BEEN FORCED TO FIND ANOTHER MODE OF TRANSPORTATION EACH TIME THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN KEPT AT THE DEALER. I NEED A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM, AND I NEED IT NOW! I HAVE DONE SOME INTERNET SEARCH AND I DO NOT SEEM TO BE THE ONLY OWNER WITH SUCH A PROBLEM, YOU HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT AND IT NEED THIS RESOLVED. THIS OCCURRED ON A HIGHWAY MERGE AT I-83 AND I-695 ON DECEMBER 19, 2014 (A TRICKY AND DANGEROUS MERGE AREA). TWICE SINCE 1/1/15 I HAVE HEARD A FRIGHTENING ENGINE NOISE WHEN DECELERATING ON A WINDY DOWNHILL ROAD. THE NOISE SOUNDS LIKE A SMALL PLANE IS OVERHEAD, AND I WAS SHOCKED THE CAR WS STILL RUNNING, AS I WAS LOOKING FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR SOME INDICATION WHAT WAS WRONG. IT IS NOT A NORMAL ENGINE NOISE. HONDA IS AWARE OF THE VIBRATIONS WHEN STOPPED AND AT 1800-2000 RPMS AND DOES NOT KNOW IF/WHEN A FIX MAY BE AVAILABLE. I AM NOT THE ONLY OWNER WITH THIS ISSUE - THERE ARE A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ON THE VARIOUS REVIEW BOARDS, AND HONDA HAS ACKNOWLEDGED IT IS WIDESPREAD. HONDA WILL NOT PROVIDE THEIR POSITION TO ME IN WRITING WHEN ASKED. THE DEALER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE OTHER PROBLEMS WHICH ARE MORE INTERMITTENT, AND IT WILL BE BACK AT THE DEALER NEXT WEEK TO ADDRESS THE FRIGHTENING ENGINE NOISE AND DOCUMENT THAT PROBLEM. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR AND I AM CONCERNED THAT IT WILL FAIL, RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
AS I WAS TRYING TO ACCELERATE, THE VEHICLE STOPPED RESPONDING. THIS HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 7 TIMES NOW SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE NEW IN OCT. 2014. IT HAPPENS AS I GIVE THE VEHICLE GAS TO ACCELERATE - IT SEEMS TO JUST STOP ACCELERATING - IT LASTS ABOUT 2 SECONDS, AND THEN SEEMS TO RECOVER. THERE IS THE SENSATION THAT THE VEHICLE HAS SHUTDOWN/SHUTOFF, BUT DOES NOT ACTUALLY STALL. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO SAID THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG. IT TYPICALLY HAPPENS BETWEEN 50-65 MPH, BUT HAS HAPPENED 1X UNDER 15MPH (WAS IN A PARKING LOT AT THAT TIME). THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I HAD PULLED INTO A HIGH-SPEED LANE, GAVE THE CAR GAS, BUT IT JUST SEEMED TO GO DEAD FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS. *TR
PURCHASED NEW 2015 HONDA CRV ON NOVEMBER 8TH, 2014. IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, VEHICLE EXHIBITED SEVERE VIBRATION AND SHUDDERING DURING IDLE, WHEN ACCELERATING, AND AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. AFTER VEHICLE IS WARMED UP IDLE IS VERY LOW , AROUND 550 RPM, AND VEHICLE JUST SHAKES AND PASSENGER SEAT VIBRATES. VIBRATIONS CAN BE FELT THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL, AND CREATE A DISTRACTION DURING DRIVING. HONDA'S RESPONSE IS THAT THE VEHICLE IS WITHIN PARAMETERS AND THIS IS A CHARACTERISTIC. AN ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION SHOULD NOT SHUDDER OR VIBRATE THIS MUCH DURING DRIVING. HONDA NEEDS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AND IMMEDIATELY CORRECT IT. *TR
I HAVE BROUGHT A BRAND NEW HONDA CRV AWD LX MODEL FROM HONDA DEALER IN NJ. FROM THE DAY ONE, I NOTICED SOME VIBRATION ON THE FRONT SEAT OF THE CAR WHEN I AM AT THE STOP SIGN/SIGNAL WITH CAR IN THE DRIVE MODE WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL THE VIBRATION IS RANDOM AND NOT ALWAYS BUT CAN BE FEEL AT THE BACK OF YOUR BODY AND IT IS VERY STRONG SOMETIME THAT AS A DRIVE YOU GET DISTRACTED AND FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WHILE DRIVING. I WENT TO THE DEALER AND ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND SHOWED IT TO THEIR TECHNICIAN ON 24TH NOV 14. THE TECHNICIAN TOOK THE VEHICLE FOR TEST DRIVE AND CALLED ME AFTER AN HOUR TO SHARE HIS CONCLUSION. DEALER TOOK ANOTHER BRAND NEW 2015 HONDA CRV AND FOUND THE SAME ISSUE WITH OTHER VEHICLE. ALSO, BASED ON THE TESTING THE DEALER CONCLUDED THAT THIS PROBLEM IS THERE IN ALL NEW HONDA CRV 2015. THEY TOLD ME THEY ARE HELPLESS AND CANNOT DO ANYTHING AND ASKED ME TO CONTACT AMERICAN HONDA(ALL THESE DETAILS HE GAVE ME IN THE SERVICE DOCUMENT). I CALLED AMERICAN HONDA(NOT ONE TIME BUT SEVERAL TIMES), THEY GAVE ME THE CASE NUMBER AND TOLD ME TO GO TO THE DEALER TO FIX THE ISSUE. I TOLD THEM THAT I WENT TO THE DEALER AND THEY FIND THE ISSUE IN THE VEHICLE. I GOT A CALL FROM SOME MR MOHAMMAD(CASE MANAGER) WHO REPRESENTED HIMSELF AS RM FOR NJ AREA. WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING HE CLOSED MY CASE, I CALLED AGAIN AND ASKED THEM TO OPEN THE CASE. MR MOHAMMED CALLED ME AGAIN AND TOLD ME THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE CHARACTERISTIC OF HONDA CRV(VIBRATION ISSUE) I MEAN HE TOLD VIBRATION IS A DESIGNED FUNCTIONALLY AND I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS LIKE ALL OTHER USERS ARE LIVING. I SAID TO PROVIDE THE EMAIL OR PHONE OF MANAGEMENT SO AS TO TALK TO THEM BUT HE DID NOT PROVIDE ME THE INFORMATION AND CLOSED MY CASE WITHOUT MY CONSENSUS AND SAID WE ARE HELPLESS.
SHORTLY AFTER I BOUGHT MY 2015 CRV TOURING I NOTICED SEVERE SHAKING WHILE IDLING. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE FOR A 4 CYLINDER VEHICLE AND SINCE I HAD TRADED IN A V8 I WAS JUST NOT USED TO IT. I TOOK HIS WORD FOR IT AND HAVE UNFORTUNATELY BECOME ACCUSTOM TO IT BUT IN THE LAST MONTH IT HAS GOTTEN MUCH WORSE. NOW IT IS SHAKING VIOLENTLY ENOUGH TO WHERE IF YOU WERE DRIVING INSTEAD OF IDLING YOU MAY LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS ALSO NOT BEEN MY ONLY SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE. MY OTHER COMPLAINT IS THAT ON CERTAIN ROAD TYPES THE CAR IS EXTREMELY UNSTABLE. THE FIRST TIME I EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE I ACTUALLY PULLED OVER AND CALLED MY HUSBAND TO LET HIM KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE TIRES WERE NEW AND WERE GRABBING THE LINES IN THE ROAD AND THAT IT SHOULDN'T LAST LONG. WELL, HERE IT IS FIVE MONTHS AND 4000 MILES LATER AND IT'S ACTUALLY GETTING WORSE! THE CAR VEERS TO THE RIGHT AND TO THE LEFT UNCONTROLLABLY. MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING WHEN THERE WAS ICE ON THE ROAD AND IT ACTUALLY PULLED US AND MADE US TEMPORARILY SLIDE ON THE ICE DUE TO IT JERKING AND HE ALMOST LOST CONTROL. THIS IS THE LEAST SAFE I'VE FELT IN ANY CAR THAT I'VE EVER OWNED. I FEAR FOR MY FAMILY'S SAFETY EVERY TIME WE RIDE IN IT AND I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN HOW HONDA HAS HANDLED THE COMPLAINTS. *TR
SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE WE NOTICED THAT IT HAS AN EXTREME VIBRATION PROBLEM. FOR US, THE PROBLEM IS MOST PRONOUNCED WHEN THE CAR IS WARMED UP, AND IT IS IDLING. UNDER PARTICULAR ELECTRICAL LOAD CONDITIONS THE CAR WILL SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE VIBRATION IS THE WORST WHEN THE CAR IS IDLING IN THE 500-600 RPM RANGE. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE RIDDEN IN THE CAR AND ASKED US IF SOMETHING IS WRONG, AND WHY IS THE CAR SHAKING LIKE THAT. EVEN MY FIVE-YEAR-OLD ASKED WHY THE CAR SHAKES SO BAD. THE VIBRATION IS SO STRONG, AND THE IDLE SO BAD, THAT AT TIMES IT FEELS LIKE THE ENGINE IS ABOUT TO DIE. HONDA NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY. IT IS AN UNACCEPTABLE PROBLEM THAT MUST BE FIXED. *TR
MY NEW 2015 CR-V MAKES A TERRIBLE VIBRATION WHEN IN IDLE IN DRIVE WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE. IT DOESN'T DO IT FOR THE FIRST FEW MINUTES OF DRIVING, SO I DIDN'T NOTICE DURING MY TEST DRIVE. BUT ONCE IT'S WARMED UP, THAT'S WHEN IT DROPS DOWN TO 600 RPMS AND STARTS SHAKING AT IDLE. THIS IS A VIBRATION THAT SHAKES BOTH THE FRONT SEATS AND THE STEERING WHEEL. IT CAN BE FELT ALL OVER ME AND MY PASSENGERS' BODIES. WHILE I DO NOT LIVE IN A LARGE CITY, I WOULD IMAGINE THIS WOULD BE UNBEARABLE AND POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS FOR ANYONE WHO DRIVES IN RUSH HOUR OR OTHERWISE POOR TRAFFIC WITH ALL OF THE TIME ONE WOULD HAVE TO BE IN DRIVE WITH THE FOOT ON THE BRAKE. THIS IS NEW TO THE 2015, I HAVE FRIENDS WHO OWN EARLIER MODELS AND I CAN'T SEE OR FEEL IT IN THEIR CR-VS. *TR
THE 2015 CRV EX VIBRATES AT IDLE SO BADLY THAT IT FEELS AS IF THE ENGINE IS GOING TO STALL. IT ALSO VIBRATES WHILE DRIVING BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. THIS STARTED AS SOON AS I PURCHASED THE CRV. WHEN I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALER IN NOVEMBER 2014, WITH ONLY 200 MILES ON IT, I WAS TOLD HONDA WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS WORKING ON A FIX FOR IT. IT HAS BEEN 10 MONTHS WITH MULTIPLE VISITS TO THE DEALER AND STILL NO FIX. I HAVE BEEN TOLD RECENTLY AT THE DEALER THAT HONDA WAS MOST LIKELY NOT GOING TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE BECAUSE OF THE COST. IT CONTINUES TO BE A DISTRACTION WHILE DRIVING AND AT IDLE AND I HOPE HONDA WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX THIS ISSUE. TO ME THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE THAT NEEDS CORRECTION NOW. ALSO, I HAVE HAD A NOISE FROM UNDER THE CRV DRIVING OVER DIPS OR BUMPS IN THE ROAD AT LOW SPEEDS, MOST NOTICEABLE BELOW 30 MPH. BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER WHO HAS SINCE REPLACED TO REAR STRUTS 2 TIMES ALREADY AND STILL THE NOISE IS STILL THERE. I WILL CONTINUE TO BRING IT BACK TO THEM UNTIL THIS IS ADDRESSED. THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A NEW CAR SINCE I FIRST PURCHASED MY FIRST CAR SOME 30 YEARS AGO.
