Sudden unexpected acceleration. Multiple occurences during same outing, almost caused me to have an accident . had to HARD break while engine continued to surge. Had vehicle towed to Honda Dealer. They said No Code set and couldn't duplicate condition. They kept vehicle 2 weeks and drove multiple times but couldn't duplicate problem. Since no code set, nothing fixed. Do not believe any diagnosis on components were done. My opinion.

The contact agreed to pay to have the fuel injector repaired. The vehicle was currently being repaired. The failure mileage was unavailable.
Good afternoon, my Crv 2018 is having the indicated problems that indicate that the fuel pump has defects, I contacted the dealer and they made an appointment for January and when I showed up they told me that they did not have the fuel pump that they would order it and It took two weeks, they have gone 4 times and they have not resolved me. I have called more than 6 times and the response is always different saying that it is American Honda's fault because it has not sent the parts. In the recall it specifies that it is a risk of have an accident if the problem is not dealt with in time but at Honda 65 in Carolina P.R they do not take it seriously.
My car has regularly over the years I have owned it (brand new) hit the brakes on its own. The braking is so violent that all the contents of my car fly forward. I have had this type of braking occur when there is no obstruction in the road, no indication of a front end collision about to occur, nor lane crossings. This has happened a handful of times, less than 10, since 2018. However, my front crash detection has also triggered the BRAKE visual and audible warning more times that I can count that were unwarranted. It has triggered on light poles on the side of the road and the Centerville Turnpike Bridge regularly (Chesapeake, VA). There has also been one incident where I was braking and I was stopping in time, but the detection system decided to slam on the brakes even further. The brake pedal literally pulled away from my foot when I was already pressing it to the floor. The result of these incidents is my injured shoulder, sitting stalled in the middle of a busy street/highway, and being stunned as a focused driver. The car does not allow the driver to move right away and it can cause even more detrimental accidents.
The Body Control Module malfunctioned in my CRV. The alarm was going off at random and the car would start into accessory mode by itself after being shut off (after use). This is a safety concern as it draws attention to me, the driver, when parking my car in a public space. For females, this can be scary and is especially dangerous as after this the car will typically not start, nor will the doors lock, for several minutes. If it occurs in a garage, I worry about any emissions coming from the car (carbon dioxide) if the car were to start on its own, which is what was happening in my 2 car garage. I took the car to the dealer, who is replacing the body control module. I also read online that Honda is recalling certain 2018-2020 Accord Sedan, Accord Hybrid, and 2019-2020 Insight vehicles due to this issue, though 2018 CRVs were not included. The problem first appeared 1/6/2024, there were no warnings prior to it appearing. I had to get the battery jumped as it ended up dying and the same situation happened - I then took the car to the dealership.
Stalled twice within 2 miles on the road on January 5th 2024.
On my way home, the car began to tremble and make a very strange noise. I couldn't stop because I was on the highway, the next day all the lights car on the dashboard were on, I dropped my car on the dealer and still is there,.
The contact leased a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of fuel. The contact stated that whenever the fuel level reached the halfway mark, the fuel then quickly became depleted. There were no warning lights illuminated. When the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle was slow to respond. The contact stated that the brakes were making an abnormal squealing noise. Additionally, there was a grinding noise while driving up and down a hill. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The dealer stated that the vehicle was working as designed. The contact called another local dealer, First Team Honda (3444 Western Branch Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321), and was informed that the failure might be due to the brake pads and rotors. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 96,000.
Video is attached. Apon starting my car I can have a electrical/computer problem where all my safety systems start flashing problems or warnings. This can go on for a week and then disappear. When on I loose my cruise control, emergency braking and warning, low tire light stays on and other emergency systems show failure. My dealership said it could be low fuel pressure but not sure. Car runs great. I should not loose safety systems if pressure is low. I will be going back in and have a serious talk with service supervisor. Again I have attached a video of the drivers dash. Program doesn't allow me to upload files.

My car does lag when I'm driving on the highway. I need a letter emailed or sent by mail showing that the part is being ordered for my car so I can forward with my loan. The company will not go forward with my loan. I need the part fixed ASAP or a letter showing that the part is getting delivered.
Manufacturer Recall NumberKGC NHTSA Recall Number 23V-858 I have been trying desperately to get my car serviced to address the safety recall, and many car dealerships are hanging up on me when I try to schedule appointments. My car has been stalling while driving as a result of this recall issue. Please help as I now fear for my safety driving my vehicle since Honda locations are not helping me resolve this issue.
Starting late December 2023, the vehicle drained the battery in the car very quickly. I replaced the battery twice, and twice the battery was drained to death very quickly. It was discovered by the local Honda dealer that the Body Control Module (BCM) on the car wakes up by itself while the car is shutdown and parked. BCM drains the battery very quickly and leaving the car in-operable, leaving us stranded. This is a very serious security risk. It caused over $1000 to repair. This is a wide-spread problem for Honda cars. Actually there is a recall for BCM in Honda Accord models.

Our 2018 CRV Touring modelm has had the dashboard light up like a christmas tree with all codes flashing. We have had the vehicle to the local honda dealer numerous times and also to a private garage. The battery has been changerd out, The Honda dealer performed a sparkplug recall and the car continues to do this with the dashboard lighting up showing all kinds of codes. Last evening for the second time the car would not go above 10 MPH. I had to shut down the engine and restart. This is very dangerous. We bought the car brand new and have had all the maintenance done. My wife is afraid to drive the car, Is there anything NHTSA can do to have Honda look into this problem. From my looking into this it appears quite a few honda CRV's are encountering this problem. This is unsafe. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing back from you

I have not experienced a problem with my vehicle yet, but your website says, “If the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, please contact the NHTSA”. I am just writing to let you know that I called the dealer, and they told me they do not have a remedy for the problem yet. I am now concerned that I could have a problem but have no way to resolve the issue. I have to travel shortly after Christmas and will just have to pray that nothing happens.

During December 2023 , news agencies, Honda, & the NHTSB reported CRV fuel pump module may have an improperly molded impeller. Should this part malfunction, the vehicle obviously shuts down immediately losing power steering, braking, and other vital functions. I was initially told by the local Honda dealer that replacement parts were anticipated in August 2023. I received notice from Honda in May 2024 stating limited replacement parts were available and would be utilized for vehicles experiencing malfunction. In July I again contacted the Honda dealership inquiring as to when remaining vehicles could expect repair & was told they had been informed October 2024. I called Honda Corporate customer service this morning asking the same question & was given the same answer I rec'd back in July. It's now approaching 12 months since the recall was issued and multitudes of Honda owners are still forced to drive unsafe vehicles exposing themselves, family members, & other motorists to fatal accidents. Honda has not corrected this issue in a timely manner yet continues to manufacture & sell multitudes of new vehicles every day. Please use the agency's authority, even if Honda is required to halt production of new vehicles, & require Honda correct the issue immediately. If this issue isn't resolved soon, I plan to contact a U.S. Senator to review the issue. PS: we purchased a 2022 Honda CRV and have recently received a recall relative to potential fuel pump cracking & ensuing fire.
I had all the warning lights come on my 2018 Honda CRV. At one time the car also lost power. I have been visited my dealer 3 times, and still is the same problem!! It has happened 4 times.

Fuel pump module incorrect moulding. To date, no incident to report, however I phoned Mohawk Honda this afternoon who said that the owners who have been notified have relayed to Mohawk Honda that HONDA informed owners that parts will not be made available until this fall. I would like to ask if I can have the work done now and receive reimbursement. I would prefer to get this recall resolved as soon as possible. Thank you.
