The contact owns a 2019 Honda HR-V. The contact stated that the SRS sensor warning light was illuminated, and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that the SRS sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact also mentioned that the Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Rollover Protection System warning lights were illuminated; however, the contact had been advised that the warning lights was most likely been triggered due to the SRS sensor failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 99,829.
I got into car accident on 2/4/2023 and was hit on my driver side on highway, but my side airbag didn’t came out. I was hit twice on the same side and it was 4 car collision. Concerned about safety of this model. Police report was filed and Geico insurance inspector reported total loss for my car.
Driver side seatbelt does not latch properly and appears to be defective.
On 2/27/2022 vehicle was involved in front end collision. Vehicle hit a fence, concerned that on impact vehicle air bags did not deploy.
12/2/21-accident started as rear end collision and car was pushed into car in front for a front end collision. The driver side airbags didn’t deploy and the driver’s face slammed into steering wheel causing injuries.
WAS STOPPED AT RED LIGHT. DECIDED TO USE BRAKE HOLD FEATURE AND WHEN TRAFFIC STARTED TO MOVE I TAPPED THE GAS PEDAL TO RELEASE THE HOLD. THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AT AN EXCESSIVE RATE AND I ENDED UP IN THE REAR END OF THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. AIR BAG SENSOR CAME LOOSE AND WIRE WAS DANGLING AFTER IMPACT AND BAG SENSOR DIDN'T UPLOAD.*DT*JB
