CONSUMER STATES THAT THE MANUAL SLIDING DOOR WOULD INTERMITTENTLY NOT OPEN. VEHICLE BEEN TO THE DEALER ON SIX OCCASION AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL OCCURRING. FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *MR
SLIDING DOOR LOCKS WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOCK AND STAY LOCKED. AT OTHER TIMES DOOR WILL LOCK IN AN OPEN POSITION. CONTACTED DEALER. *AK
TRANSMISSION FAILED. NLM
MY SON ACCIDENTLY PULLED THE LEVEL TO CLOSE THE POWER SLIDING DOOR. MY WIFE WAS STILL PUTTING STUFF IN THE VAN. THE DOOR PINNED HER AGAINST THE FRAME, IT DID NOT STOP AS EXPECTED. I LATER CHECKED THE OPERATION OF THE DOORS AND FOUND THE PASSENGER SIDE TO BE INTERMITTENT (SOMETIMES IT WOULD STOP) AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE WOULD NEVER STOP. MY WIFE SUFFERED SEVERE BACK AND NECK PAIN AND BRUISES ON HER SHOULDER. ACCORDING TO THE OWNER'S MANUAL THE DOOR SHOULD STOP. HOWEVER, THE NEXT SENTENCE SAYS IT MAY NOT BE IMMEDIATE AND MAY CAUSE "BRUISING AND DISCOMFORT". THIS IS A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR PEOPLE WITH CHILDREN. IF MY 18-MONTH OLD WOULD HAVE HAD HIS HEAD IN THE WAY THE DOOR WOULD HAVE SMASHED IT HARD. HONDA NEEDS TO TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THESE TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE OPERATING CORRECTLY. WE DECIDED IT WAS TOO MUCH RISK, SO WE GOT RID OF THE VAN AND BOUGHT A TOYOTA SIENNA WITHOUT POWER DOORS. *AK
VEHICLE PULLS HARD TO RIGHT. DEALER SAID VEHICLE WAS ALIGNED TO SPECS BUT HAD TO MAKE SOME TYPE OF FRONT BAR ADJUSTMENT ANYWAY TO CORRECT. *AK
DRIVERS SIDE MIRROR BROKE AWAY, BUT INTACT MIRROR GLASS FELL OUT. POOR DESIGN , COMPROMISES SAFETY BY ELIMINATING REAR VISION. *AK
TRANSMISSION REPLACED AT APPROXIMATELY 1000 MILES DUE TO DEFECTIVE TORQUE CONVERTER ACCORDING TO SERVICING HONDA DEALERSHIP. VAN PULLS HARD TO THE RIGHT. PROBLEM FIRST NOTED DAY AFTER DELIVERY. HAS BEEN IN DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SEVERAL TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM. DEALER REPLACED FIRESTONE TIRES WITH MICHELINS, REPLACED WHEELS AND PERFORMED 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT. PULLING TO RIGHT PROBLEM NOT SOLVED. RETURNED TO DEALER AND THE SERVICE MANAGER VERIFIED THAT IT IS NOT A WHEEL, TIRE NOR ALIGNMENT PROBLEM. SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT IT IS PROBABLY DUE TO THE CROWN IN THE ROAD. VAN PULLS HARD TO RIGHT ON ALL ROADS WITHIN A MATTER OF SECONDS OF TAKING HANDS OF OFF THE WHEEL. MY OTHER TWO VEHICLES DRIVEN ON THE SAME ROADS AND IN THE SAME LANES DO NOT PULL TO THE RIGHT NOR LEFT. *AK( DOT NUMBER: )
THIS IS A BRAND NEW MINIVAN, PURCHASED WITH ONLY 9 MILES IN ODOMETER. AFTER A WEEK OF DRIVING IT, IT BEGAN TO FEEL LIKE IT NEED IT MORE REV IN ORDER TO PICK-UP SPEED, SPECIALLY WHEN DRIVING IN FREEWAY CONDITIONS (TRAFFIC). THE VAN DID NOT DOWNSHIFT AS EXPECTED FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES, IN ORDER TO GAIN SPEED, I HAD TO PRESS THE ACCELERATOR UNTIL THE ENGINE REACHED 3K RPM, AND EVEN THEN THE TRANSMISSION NOISE CONTINUED. IT IS NOT A CONTINUOS OCCURANCE, IT IS DOING IT EVERY FOUR TO FIVE DAYS. I TOOK THE VAN TO THE DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT THE VAN AND SERVICE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE THROUGH A COMPUTER, WHICH DETECTED NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VAN, ALTHOUGH THE SERVICE MANAGER HAD NOTICED THE PROBLEM. IN THE FIRST INSTANCE I WAS GIVEN THE VAN BACK WITHOUT ANYTHING DONE TO IT, EXCEPT FOR A TRANSMISSION FLUID FLUSH. FIVE DAYS LATTER, ON APRIL 17, 2000 THE NOISE AND TRAIN PROBLEM SHOWED UP AGAIN, THIS TIME MORE SERIOUS. I TOOK THE VAN TO ANOTHER DEALER, AND THEY PERFORMED A COMPUTER TEST THAT AGAIN SHOWED NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE, HOWEVER THE NEW SERVICE ADVISER DID NOTICE THE PROBLEM WHEN HE TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE. HONDA WAS CONTACTED AND THE COMPANY ADVICED A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE TRANSMISSION. BEING SUCH A POPULAR MODEL THE NEEDED TRANSMISSION IS NOT AVAILABLE AND ACCORDING TO HONDA IT WILL TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS TO GET A REPLACEMENT , HOPEFULLY NEW. ANOTHER AREA OF CONCERN IS THE BRAKE PEDAL, ONE CAN HEAR THE BOOSTER WHEN PRESSING THE PEDAL AND AT TIMES THE BRAKES DO NOT ENGAGE INMEDIATELLY. SO FAR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM SINCE THE TRANSMISSION MATTER IS OF MORE IMPORTANCE. PASSENGER DOORS STICK AND CAN NOT BE OPENED WITHOUT EXTREME FORCE. SOMETIMES UNABLE TO OPEN & DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD "DOOR OPEN LIGHT " COMES ON, BECAUSE THE DOOR HAS COME AJAR. INSIDE DOOR LATCH HAS ALSO PIERCED A DENT IN THE BODY OF THE DOOR.
VAN PULLS SIGNIFICANTLY TO THE RIGHT. HONDA ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR 6 TIMES STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. WE FILED THE LEMON LAW AND WOULD LIKE ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE ON PROBLEMS LIKE OURS. THANK YOU. *AK (DOT NUMBER: N/A TIRESIZE: N/A)
CONSUMER'S SON HAD HIS FINGERS IN WAY OF DOOR. WHEN CONSUMER ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE DOOR FROM CLOSING ON CHILD'S FINGER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO SO. CHILD WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL WITH BROKEN FINGERS. BUT, WAS TREATED AND RELEASED. *AK
THE LEFT REAR SLIDING DOOR HAS FAILED TWICE. IT WILL CLOSE BUT NOT LATCH ALL OF THE WAY. THE ALARM GOES OFF. THE RIGHT SLIDING DOOR HAS FAILED TWICE. IT WILL CLOSE MOMENTARILY AND THEN AUTOMATICALLY REOPEN. A FRIEND FOUND MY DOOR WIDE OPEN IN A PARKING LOT WIDE OPEN. THIS COULD RESULT IN THEFT OF CONTENTS OF ENTIRE VAN. IT COULD ALSO RESULT IN SOMEONE HIDING IN THE CARGO AREA AWAITING FOR MY RETURN UNDETECTED. IT ALSO LEAVES ME STRANDED WITH MY THREE KIDS. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE A CAR WITH A DOOR WIDE OPEN WITH THREE YOUNG CHILDREN. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE A CAR WHEN THE DOOR IS NOT LATCHED ALL OF THE WAY EITHER. MY NEIGHBOR HAS HAD HIS CAR IN 7 TIMES ALSO FOR HIS SLIDING DOORS. I AM GOING TO ARBITRATION ON TUESDAY, MAY 23 HOPING IT BE DECLARED A LEMON. MY NEIGHBOR WILL BE DOING SO SOON ALSO.*AK
WHEN FILLING FUEL TANK CONSUMER'S DAUGHTER WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK THE DRIVER'S SIDE SLIDING DOOR. DOOR OPENED QUICKLY AND JAMMED OVER THE FUEL FILLER DOOR AND INTO THE GAS NOSSLE WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE BODY OF THE CAR AND FUEL FILLER DOOR. *AK
TIRES DID NOT FAIL. THERE IS A STEERING SHIMMY THAT HAS NOT GONE AWAY AFTER NUMEREOUS ATTEMPTS TO BALANCE AND ROTATE TIRES. *AK( DOT NUMBER: )
THERE HAVE BEEN REPEATED PROBLEMS WITH BOTH POWER SLIDING DOORS JAMMING AND BEING NONFUNCTIONAL. THE DOORS ALSO FREQUENTLY SET OFF THE ALARMS WITHIN THE VEHICLE CLAIMING THAT THE DOOR IS OPEN WITH THE CAR IN DRIVE, YET THE DOOR DOES NOT SHOW "OPEN" ON THE INDICATOR PANEL ON THE DASHBOARD. THERE HAVE BEEN 8-9 ATTEMPTS BY THE DEALER TO REPAIR THIS PROBLEM AND YET , IT CONTINUES TO RECUR. THE HONDA REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER HAS BEEN INVOLVED (GREG BAZIL) AND HONDA CORPORATE HAS BEEN CONTACTED FOR HELP WITH ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS. NOTHING FIXES MY CAR.
WHILE FUELING VEHICLE FUEL TANK BURSTED INTO FLAMES, RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
PROBLEMS WITH STEERING ON 2000 HONDA ODYSSEY. *MR THERE WAS A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEN GOING 65 MPH ALONG WITH BRAKE PULSATION (REAR BRAKE DRUMS WERE TAPERED AND THE SHOES DID NOT APPLY PROPERLY), RIMS WERE OUT OF ROUND, THE VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT, DRIVER'S WINDOW SQUEAKED WHEN GOING DOWN, BRAKES SQUEAKED, ONE TIRE WAS FOUND BAD WHEN THE VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL OCCURRED AND WAS REPLACED. EVENTUALLY ALL THE TIRES WERE REPLACED BUT THE VIBRATION STILL OCCURRED. *SCC *JB
ENGINE CHECK LIGHT STAYED ON 6 TIMES. 6 TIMES TO DEALER. CORRECTED BY REPLACEMENT OF GASOLINE FILLER NECK. HONDA FIELD ENGINEER CALLED IN 3/22/00 TO CHECK REPAIRS.
WHEN PUTTING CAR IN REVERSE IT MADE A POPPING NOISE LIKE IT WAS RUNNING OVER SOMETHING. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION, CONSUMER HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE MARCH 14TH FOR TRANSMISSION. *AK
THE TRANSMISSION CONTAINED A BEARING FLAW WHICH CAUSED THE TRANSMISSION TO SPONTANEOUSLY DOWN SHIFT FROM 4TH TO 2ND GEAR, THIS PROBLEM ALSO CAUSED A SEVERE VIBRATION IN THE TRANSMISSION. *TS *JB
THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR ON OUR VAN KEEPS GETTING STUCK AJAR WHEN I TRY TO CLOSE IT. I BELIEVE THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND HAVE HAD TO PUT A LOT OF FORCE AGAINST IT TO GET IT CLOSED SINCE I HAVE TWO SMALL CHILDREN IN THE BACK SEATS. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TO HALL HONDA TO GET FIXED ONCE AND THEY THOUGHT THEY FIXED IT AND IT STILL DOES IT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IS DOESN'T DO IT ALWAYS, IT IS ON AND OFF. YESTERDAY WAS THE LAST TIME. I DOES IT AT LEAST 5 OUT OF 7 DAYS A WEEK. I PUT TWO SMALL DENTS IN THE DOOR TRYING TO CLOSE IT WHILE I WAS AWAY FROM HOME ONCE SINCE MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE BACK AND I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE IT THAT WAY. THE HONDA DEALER IS ACTING AS IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO FIX THE DENTS BUT IF THE DOOR WASN'T MALFUNCTIONING THE DENTS WOULDN'T BE THERE. I WAS AFRAID MY CHILDREN COULD FALL OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING HOME AND COULDN'T LEAVE IT OPEN. I AM TAKING THE VAN BACK IN TONIGHT AND WE'LL SEE IF THEY FIX IT THIS TIME. ALSO I WILL BE TALKING TO THEM ABOUT GETTING THE TWO LITTLE DENTS FIXED FREE OF CHARGE SINCE THIS WASN'T MY FAULT. THIS PROBLEMS STARTED SHORTLY AFTER WE BOUGHT THE VAN. THANK YOU CHERYL CEPEK. *AK
RIGHT ELECTRIC SLIDING DOOR OPENS INTERMITTENTLY WHEN CAR IS IN PARK. OF SOME 20 INCIDENTS ONLY 2 HAVE OCCURRED WHEN THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING (TRANSMISSION IN PARK) AND DOORS UNLOCKED. OTHER INCIDENTS OCURRED WHEN CAR WAS UNATTENDED AND DOORS UNLOCKED. DEALER NOTIFIED. DEALER REQUESTED CAR BE LEFT FOR OBSERVATION. THIS APPROACH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO OWNER AS PROBLEM MAY TAKE A WEEK OR TWO TO REOCCUR.*AK
THE CONSUMER IS HAVING CONTINUOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOORS AND THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE DEALER MANY TIMES FOR ADJUSTMENTS HOWEVER THE PROBLEM CONTINUES, BOTH DOORS ARE UNABLE TO BE OPENED OR CLOSED AND THERE IS A CONTINUOUS BUZZING NOISE WHICH OCCURS FREQUENTLY EVEN THOUGH THE DOORS ARE SHUT. WHILE PUTTING FUEL INTO FUEL TANK, DRIVER'S SON INSIDE THE VEHICLE, PRESSED A BUTTN THAT OPENED THE SLIDING DOOR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, NEXT TO FUEL DOOR. WHEN DOOR OPENED, FUEL PUMP WAS KNOCKED DOWN, AND SPILLED FUEL ALL OVER CONSUMER AND ALL AROUND. *AK
WHILE PUTTING KIDS IN THE CAR, ONE OF THE CHILDREN PULLED THE SIDE DOOR HANDLE AND THE DOOR AUTOMATICALLY ROLLED SHUT. THIS DOOR COULD INJURE SOMEONE, ESPECIALLY A CHILD IF CAUGHT BETWEEN THE DOOR. CONSUMER FEELS THERE SHOULD BE A BETTER SENSOR SYSTEM TO STOP WHEN THERE ARE OBJECTS BLOCKING THE DOOR. *AK
REAR SLIDING DOORS ARE NOT OPENING/CLOSING PROPERLY. INTERMITTENTLY DOORS WOULD NOT OPEN AT ALL. THIS CAUSES CHILD TO BE LOCKED IN AT TIMES. ALSO, REAR PASSENGER'S OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES BROKE OFF AS WELL. DEALER NOTIFIED, AND WAITED ON HANDLE REPLACEMENT. REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK *ML
VEHICLE WAS PARKED. ENGAGED THE SLIDE DOOR TO CLOSE AND FORGOT SOMETHING. REACHED IN WHILE DOOR WAS CLOSING AND GOT CAUGHT. SAFETY FEATURE WAS DESIGNED IN A MANNER THAT DOOR WILL RETRACT IF SOMETHING IS IN ITS WAY, BUT IT FAILS TO RETRACT UNTIL THE DOOR IS ALMOST CLOSED. IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL IT STATES THAT THE DOOR MAY CLOSE ENOUGH TO CAUSE BRUISING BEFORE IT RETRACTS.*AK
ORIGINAL TIRE ON A HONDA, ODYSSEY, 2000. P215/65TR16. WHILE DRIVING DOWN FREEWAY AT 65 MPH, CONSUMER FELT CAR STARTING TO VIBRATE. CONSUMER SLOWED DOWN, AND FOUND THAT FRONT RIGHT TIRE SIDEWALL COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM TREAD.*AK. CONSUMER RETURNED TIRES TO THE MANUFACTURER.*JB
TWICE (ON COLD DAYS) I HAVE FOUND MYSELF UNABLE TO DEPRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. ON THE SECOND OCCATION I CHASED THE CAUSE DOWN TO THE THROTTLE MECHANISM LOCATED AT THE END OF THE ACCELERATOR CABLE. ON BOTH OCCASIONS AFTER I HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR AT 5 M/HR FOR 1/4 MILE OR SO AND THE ENGINE HAS WARMED UP THE THOTTLE MECHANISM STARTED FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. MY DEALER HAS CHECKED OUT THE MECHANISIM AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. (I'M SURE THERE IS.) *AK
WHILE TRAVELING 45MPH VEHICLE BECAME STUCK AT FULL THROTTLE. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN & STOP BY PUTTING VEHICLE INTO PARK. CONSUMER HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP. DEALER MECHANIC STATED THERE WAS EXCESSIVE MOISTURE IN THE THROTTLE BODY. *AK *ML
BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT SLIDING DOORS AUTOMATICALLY OPEN BY ITSELF WHILE VEHICLE IS PARKED AND WHILE DRIVING. YH
POWER SLIDING DOORS REVERSE THEMSELVES THE FIRST TIME ANYTHING GETS IN THEIR PATH. IF YOU STOP THE DOOR AND ATTEMPT TO CLOSE IT A SECOND TIME THE DOORS WILL NOT STOP CLOSING. THE DOOR CLOSED ON MY HUSBANDS FINGERS THE OTHER WEEK AT THE CAR DEALERSHIP. WE ARE LOOKING TO BUY A HONDA ODYSSEY, BUT ARE THINKING TWICE BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I AM CONCERNED THAT A CHILD COULD GET HURT PRETTY BAD BY THE POWER OF THIS CLOSING DOOR. THE SALESMAN TOLD US THAT YOU CANNOT TRY TO CLOSE THE DOOR A SECOND TIME WITHOUT WAITING FOR A LEAST 1 WHOLE MINUTE, BECAUSE THE MECHANISM NEEDS TO RESET ITSELF. IF CHILDREN ARE GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE DOOR IT IS HARD TO SAY THAT THEY WOULD NOT WAIT THE FULL 1 MINUTE AND THAT SOMEONE MIGHT BE IN THE WAY OF THE SLIDING DOOR. *AK
REAR PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR OPENED UP AND MADE SOUNDS. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND MECHANIC TOLD HER THAT THERE WAS A SENSOR INSIDE OF THE DOOR PANEL. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE PASSENGER REAR SLIDING DOOR OPEN ON IT'S OWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND REPLACED IT NUMEROUS TIMES. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS AT THIS TIME. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *JB
ELECTRIC SLIDING POWER DOORS DO NOT REBOUND WHEN ENCOUNTERING OBSTACLE. SHOULD A PERSON INADVERTANTLY GET IN THE WAY OF A CLOSING DOOR, THE MOTOR WILL EXERT TREMENDOUS FORCE ON INDIVIDUAL, LIKELY CAUSING INJURY. THE OWNERS MANUAL SUGGESTS PRESSING THE "OPEN" BUTTON ON THE REMOTE KEY RING OR THE DASH BOARD. IN THE CASE OF A SMALL CHILD ENTERING/EXITING (WHICH IN THE CASE OF A MINI-VAN IS QUITE LIKELY), THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY IS SEVERE. THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD HAVE DESIGNED AN ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE SENSOR, OVER-CURRENT SENSER (SIMILAR TO GARAGE DOORS), OR OTHER DETECTION DEVICE TO CREATE A SAFER DOOR. PLEASE INVESTIGATE.

WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS,(55 MPH) VAN PULLED TO THE RIGHT. THE VAN WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP, SOME ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE, BUT THE VAN STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT. VAN WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP FOR THIS PROBLEM ON JAN 22, 2000. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK

LEFT SIDE SLIDING DOOR KEEPS STICKING CLOSED WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL CAR IS REPEATEDLY TURNED OFF AND ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED REPEATEDLY SINCE THE VAN WAS NEW! SEEMS TO BE ELECTRICAL RATHER THAN "DOOR SEAL STICKING" AS HONDA CLAIMS. EACH TIME THEY JUST GREASE THE DOOR SEAL. NOW THE LEFT OUTSIDE HANDLE HAS BROKEN WHEN TRYING TO OPEN DOOR. AND NOW THE RIGHT SIDE SLIDING DOOR IS STARTING TO STICK ALSO. HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS EVERY TIME WE TAKE IT IN FOR SERVICE/REPAIR. HONDA JUST SHRUGS IT OFF AND SAYS THEY WILL FIX THE BROKEN HANDLES FREE WHILE ITS UNDER WARRANTY. THE DEALSHIP HAS NEVER ONCE LET ON TO ME THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OTHER VANS UNTIL I SAID I FOUND OUT FROM THE NHTSA WEBSITE. DOES MY FAMILY HAVE TO BE TRAPPED IN THE VEHICLE AND DIE BEFORE HONDA DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS?

TRANSMISSION IS MAKING A NOISE, TORQUE CONVERTER VIBRATING CAUSING NOISE. CONSUMER IS CONCERNED THAT TRANSMISSION MAY FAIL. AK *JB
VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED CONTINUOUS VIBRATION PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION. CONSUMER BELIEVES THAT TORQUE CONVERTER VIBRATIONS WHICH ARE A KNOWN ISSUE, SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES THE POTENTIAL FOR A BEARING FAILURE, AND COULD RESULT IN SPONTANEOUS 4-2 DOWNSHIFTS. CONSUMER REQUESTS THAT HONDA REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION. CONSUMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT INFORMED CONSUMER THAT A REPLACEMENT WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION FAILS. *JG. *AK
REAR PASSENGER DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY AND THERE IS A SCREW FROM THE LATCH PUSHING OUT THROUGH THE OUTSIDE PANEL OF THE DOOR. *AK
POWER ADJUSTING DRIVER'S SEAT WOULD RECLINE BY ITSELF INTERMITTENTLY. VEHICLE BEEN INSPECTED BY TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS, AND BOTH WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE PROBLEM. *AK
HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES. THEY CANNOT FIX IT. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED IN SUMMARY. *AK
WHEN FACING UPHILL, VAN WILL ROLL BACKWARD CONTINUOUSLY ONCE DRIVER'S FOOT IS REMOVED FROM THE BRAKE UNTIL GAS IS APPLIED OR BRAKE REAPPLIED. *AK
