THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE ODYSSEY ILLUMINATE TOO CLOSE TO THE CAR AND NOT FAR ENOUGH DOWN THE ROAD TO SEE AND IT EXASPERATED ON HILLS GOING DOWN WHERE YOU REALLY CAN'T SEE AHEAD OF YOUR VEHICLE. AT NIGHT THERE IS A SHARP BLACK LINE ON THE WIND SHIELD WHERE THE LIGHTS STOP ILLUMINATING ABOVE THE LINE. I HAVE TO BEND MY HEAD SIDE WAYS TO SEE UNDER THE BLACK LINE WHERE THE LIGHT IS. VERY UNSAFE. I ASKED THE HONDA DEALER ABOUT IT AND THEY SAID THAT THE LIGHTS WERE AT THE CORRECT LEVEL. I TOLD THEM I CAN'T SEE UNLESS I BEND MY HEAD SIDE WAYS TO SEE UNDER THE BLACK LINE WHERE THE LIGHT ILLUMINATES THE ROAD. THEY RAISED THE LIGHTS UP FOR ME A BIT AND NOW EVERYONE FLASHES THEIR LIGHTS AT ME INDICATING MY LIGHTS ARE TOO BRIGHT. IT IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY (I ESTIMATE SPEED AT 65-70), IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE LEFT FRONT TIRE STRUCK AN OBJECT IN THE ROADWAY. THE OBJECT LEFT A SMALL SCRATCH ON THE FRONT BUMPER, SEVERED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLE AND MAY HAVE SCRATCHED THE SHIELD ON THE GAS TANK. THERE WAS NO GROSSLY OBVIOUS DEFORMITY OF THE WHEEL OR CLEAR DAMAGE TO TIRE. THE IMPACT ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND FRONT END IS NOT YET CLEAR, AS THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT THE SHOP. DESPITE THE MILD TO MODERATE NATURE OF THE IMPACT, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG AND THE LEFT CURTAIN AIRBAG DEPLOYED. THANKFULLY, THERE WERE NO INJURIES HOWEVER, IT IS MY PERCEPTION THAT THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED INAPPROPRIATELY, CAUSING A FAIR DEGREE OF ALARM AND EXTENSIVE INTERIOR DAMAGE TO THE VAN. *KB
CAR FAILED TO RESPOND TO KEYPAD LOCK TRANSMITTER, AND THEN FAILED TO START 3 CONSECUTIVE ATTEMPTS. THIS SAME CAR'S PREVIOUS BATTERY DIED COMPLETELY APPROXIMATELY 4 WEEKS AFTER INITIAL PURCHASE AND WAS REPLACED JUST 4 MONTHS AGO. CAR HAS ALSO HAD NUMEROUS INCIDENTS WHERE VOICE RECOGNITION AND CELLPHONE BLU-RAY CONNECTION ACTED ERRATICALLY OR FAILED COMPLETELY. *TR
BOUGHT THE ODYSSEY 2011 EXL AND DROVE FOR 100 MILES. THEN THE TPMS LIGHTS CAME ON AND STAYED ON FOR EVER. TAKEN AN APPOINT WITH HONDA SERVICE AND THEY WOULD LIKE TO ADJUST THE TIRE PRESSURE. STILL NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY. *TR
NEW 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING MODEL HAD A SNOWFLAKE LIKE CRACK THE SIZE OF A HALF-DOLLAR IN PASSENGER SIDE TOP CORNER OF WINDSHIELD. CRACK WAS IN THE CENTER OF THE GLASS AND COULD NOT BE FELT FROM THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED BY HONDA DEALER TWO TIMES AND EACH TIME THE WINDSHIELD STARTS TO CRACK AFTER A FEW DAYS OF DRIVING. EACH TIME THE INSTALLATION WAS PERFORMED BY A DIFFERENT VENDOR. LOCAL HONDA DEALER HAS COME INTO CONTACT WITH THREE SIMILAR ISSUES WITH THE 2011 MODEL. THE LATEST CRACK FOUND IS ABOUT 8 INCHES LONG OVER THE PASSENGER SIDE ABOUT 12 INCHES FROM THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING 35 MPH THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED SUDDENLY AND THE REAR PASSENGER SEAT FLIPPED FORWARD WHILE IT WAS OCCUPIED BY HER CHILDREN. THE FAILURE RECURRED. AS A RESULT OF THE FAILURE, ONE OF THE BABIES SUSTAINED A NOSE INJURY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 8000.....UPDATED 10/11/12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE SECOND FAILURE OCCURED AUGUST 2012. THE SEAT OF THE VEHICLE COLLAPSED ON ANOTHER CHILD. MY HONDA ODYSSEY HAS "STALLED" ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. IT HAPPENS MOST OFTEN WHEN YOU ARE SLOWING DOWN TO NEAR STOP AND THEN NEED TO RAPIDLY ACCELERATE (IE, YOU ARE APPROACHING A RED LIGHT THAT THEN TURNS GREEN). IT OFTEN PAUSES AND STUTTERS (ALMOST LIKE IT JUMPS) BEFORE ACTUALLY ACCELERATING. IT HAS NEVER COMPLETELY CUT OFF, IT JUST FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TOO. THIS PROBLEM ALWAYS OCCURS ON AN INCLINE AS WELL. FOR EXAMPLE, IF MUST STOP ON A HILL AND THEN ACCELERATE - IT FEELS LIKE IT WILL MOST CERTAINLY CUT OFF BEFORE RAPIDLY STARTING TO ACCELERATE SEVERAL SECONDS LATER. ONE TIME, SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, I ACTUALLY HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED IN BECAUSE IT WAS DOING IT SO MUCH AND I WAS AFRAID TO DRIVE IT ON THE HIGHWAY. I WAS TOLD BY THE HONDA DEALER THAT IT WAS A SPARK PLUG PROBLEM (CORRODED OR SOMETHING) AND THESE WERE REPLACED. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM HAS PERSISTED. VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP AGAIN BECAUSE IT IS NOW OCCURRING EVERY SINGLE TIME I DRIVE IT. CURRENTLY, HAVE ABOUT 40,000 MILES ON IT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO JERK VIOLENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. TRANSMISSION SOMETIMES SHUDDERS TERRIBLY WHEN SHIFTING, DOES NOT KNOW WHEN TO SHIFT, SOMETIMES DELAYS WHEN SHIFTING INTO REVERSE. CURRENTLY HAS 44,000 MILES. *TR
IN 2011 AFTER WE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE WE TOOK A TRIP TO COLORADO WHERE OUR BRAKES FAILED, I WAS PUSHING THE BRAKES GENTLY DOWN A HILL AND AFTER ABOUT 1 MINUTE THE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY, I THOUGHT I HAD A FLAT SO I PULLED OVER AND CHECKED BUT THE TIRES WERE FINE, THAN I REALIZED THAT THE DISC BRAKES HAVE WARPED MAKING THE CAR DIFFICULT TO SLOW DOWN, AFTER WE MADE IT BACK HOME WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER WERE THEY TURNED THE BRAKES TO SMOOTH IT OUT AND TOLD US IT WAS FINE. IT WAS FINE FOR A LITTLE WHILE 2-3 MONTHS WHEN IT STARTED DOING IT AGAIN, WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER AGAIN THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE DISCS IN THE FRONT BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO WE JUST HAD TO FIGHT WITH THEM TO GET IT DONE. IT DIDN'T TAKE BUT ABOUT 5000 MILE WHEN IT STARTED DOING THE SAME THING, THIS TIME I CALLED OTHER FRIENDS WHO OWNED THE SAME STYLE MINIVAN AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE BRAKED, THIS TIME I ORDERED A SET OF HIGH PERFORMANCE DISC BRAKE SET FOR THE FRONT TO SEE IF IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE AND IT DID. I HAD THOSE DISC BRAKES ON FOR 2 YEARS AND THE CAR IS FINE, THE ISSUE IS THAT THE BRAKES ARE NOT MADE WELL ENOUGH TO HOLD UP ON THE LONG TERM, BECAUSE AFTER BRAKING DOWN HILL FOR ABOUT A MILE THE DISC BRAKES IN THE FRONT WARP AND CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY, I TOLD MY FRIENDS WHAT I DID TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM AND THEY ALL FOLLOWED MY LEAD TO CHANGE OUT THE FACTORY FRONT DISCS WITH A BETTER QUALITY ONE, AND THAT SEEMS TO BE WORKING FOR NOW. I STRONGLY SUGGEST SOME TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER BECAUSE HONDA SHOULD HAVE UPGRADED THE BRAKES ON THEIR OWN WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY TO HAVE A SAFETY ISSUE LIKE THIS FIXED. I CAN TELL YOU THIS THAT I WILL NOT BE OWNING ANY HONDA PRODUCT IN THE FUTURE, I HAD TOO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS ONE.
AS SOON AS THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS TO THE SECOND GEAR, THE ENTIRE CAR WILL SHUDDER. SAME THING HAPPENS OFTEN ON THE THIRD, FOURTH, AND FIFTH. ANOTHER THING THAT HAPPENS ON THE TRANSMISSION IS THAT WHEN IT'S IN OVERDRIVE IN THE SIXTH GEAR, THE RPM WILL JUMP ABOUT A HUNDRED OR TWO, UP AND DOWN, RANDOMELY. WHEN IT'S ALSO IN OVERDRIVE, IT MAKES A WEIRD NOISE. IN THE CABIN, IT SOUNDS LIKE AN EXTREME WIND NOISE, BUT YOU CAN TELL THAT IT'S COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME I GIVE THE CAR SOME GAS. SOME OTHER PEOPLE ARE ALSO HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS I'M HAVING BECAUSE PEOPLE ON THE FORUM ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE.
BRAKE COMPONENTS DEFECT.
2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EX-L WITH 300 MILES ON IT, STUMBLES/HESITATES AT LOW SPEEDS (15-20 MPH) WHEN LIGHT THROTTLE APPLIED WITH TRANSMISSION IN "D" ON A SLIGHT INCLINE. HONDA DEALER IN BOONE, NC COULD NOT RESOLVE PROBLEM. ON 7-25-2011. OWNER DROVE CAR FROM DEALER AND PROBLEM HAPPENED THREE MORE TIMES. IMMEDIATELY RETURNED CAR TO DEALER BUT DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM BUT SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT HONDA FOR ADVICE. THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED SIX TIMES SINCE NEW AND CAR HAS JUST 525 MILES ON IT AND GIVES DRIVER SENSATION THAT ENGINE HAS STALLED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR MALFUNCTIONED AND FAILED TO LATCH CLOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE MOTOR IN THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. HOWEVER THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. BOUGHT A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING ELITE IN 3/2011. NOW 4 MONTHS LATER I AM GETTING THE "BATTERY CHARGE LOW" WARNING. HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SPOKE TO THEM. THEY STATE IT'S NOT A PROBLEM AND I NEED TO DRIVE THE CAR MORE. IT IS CONCERNING THAT THE CAR SHUTS THE DOME LIGHTS OFF, EVEN THE DASH LIGHTS OFF AUTOMATICALLY. THIS IS A SUPPOSED SAFETY ITEM OF THE CAR THAT I AM TO IGNORE? I AM DEEPLY CONCERNED REGARDING THIS ISSUE. FIRST, HONDA IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS -- "IGNORE IT. IT'S NOT A PROBLEM." SECOND, THIS ISSUE, I FEEL, IS POTENTIALLY PLACING MY FAMILY IN DANGER IF THE BATTERY CANNOT STAY CHARGED. FINALLY, THIS IS NOT AN INFREQUENT ISSUE AS EVIDENCED BY THE NUMBER OF POSTS/COMPLAINTS ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE AND OTHER FORUMS ON THE WEB (WWW.ODYCLUB.COM) YET HONDA CONTINUES NOT TO PUT OUT A TSB REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. THE COMPLAINTS CONTINUE AND NO ACTION IS BEING TAKEN BY HONDA TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS SEEMS REMINISCENT OF TOYOTA STATING THERE WASN'T AN ACCELERATOR PEDAL ISSUE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT, AND IT SEEMS THE LOWLY CONSUMER IS NOT MAKING IT HAPPEN. *KB
2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EL. ON THE INFORMATIONAL DISPLAY THE BATTERY CHARGE LOW WARNING LIGHT HAS COME ON FOR THE SECOND TIME IN APPROXIMATELY 45 DAYS. THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHO RESET THE SENSOR. HE TOLD ME THAT WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN TO DO THE SAME THING. IT BOTHERS ME THAT I HAVE TO DISABLE A SAFETY FEATURE FOR THIS VEHICLE IN ORDER TO USE IT IN THE MANNER THAT IT WAS INTENDED. I AM CONCERNED THAT MY WIFE WILL BE LEFT STRANDED WITH A DEAD BATTERY. *TR
2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. CONSUMER STATES PROBLEM WITH REAR SEAT BELT *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE REAR SEAT HAD A MIDDLE SEAT WHICH FOLDED DOWN INTO A CONSOLE. THE SET BELT FOR THE MIDDLE WAS ATTACHED TO THE CEILING ABOVE IN LIEU OF THE SEAT ITSELF. THE OTHER TWO BACK SEATS RECLINED AND THEREFORE, THE SEAT BELT HUNG IN THE GENERAL AREA WHERE ONES HAND WOULD BE WHILE RECLINING. WHILE DRIVING, THE CONSUMERS CHILDREN WERE RECLINING, NAPPING AND PLAYING IN THE BACK SEAT, WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, ONE OF THE CHILDREN BEGAN YELLING. THE CONSUMER LOOKED BACKED AND DISCOVERED THE OTHER CHILD HAD MANAGED TO WRAP THE SEAT BELT AROUND HER NECK SEVERAL TIMES. IT TOOK THE CONSUMERS HUSBAND OVER FIVE MINUTES TO UNWRAP THE SEAT BELT FROM AROUND HER NECK. THE CONSUMERS DAUGHTER RECEIVED BRUISES AND RED MARKS AROUND HER NECK. (THE VEHICLE BELONGED TO THE CONSUMERS MOTHER-IN-LAW)
WHEN WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE THE DEALER TOLD US THE ODYSSEY HAS A NEW AND IMPROVED BREAKING SYSTEM. SIX MONTHS AFTER WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE WE HAD A WOBBLE WHEN BREAKING (8,000 MI). WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WERE TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG. THE ISSUE CONTINUED TO GET WORSE AND WE RETURNED AGAIN AT 20,000 MILES. AT THAT POINT WE WERE TOLD THE ROTORS WERE WARPED BUT IT IS AN "ANNOYANCE" AND NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. NOW AT 38,000 MILES THE VEHICLE SHAKES VIOLENTLY WHEN BREAKING. I AM TOLD ITS MY DRIVING HABITS THAT CAUSED THIS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANOTHER CAR WITH BREAK ISSUES PRIOR TOT 50,000 MILES. THE DEALER WANTS $350 TO FIX WITH NO GUARANTEE THE ISSUE WILL NOT OCCUR IN ANOTHER 8K MILES.
WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP ON WET ROADS, THE TIRES SPIN AND THERE IS NO TRACTION; THE CAR FISHTAILS AND STARTS VERY SLOWLY. I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE INITIAL TIRES WERE CHEAP, BUT I RECENTLY BOUGHT NEW TIRES (NOT FROM HONDA) AND SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED TIRES THAT WOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM. BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. I NO LONGER THINK IT IS A "TIRE" ISSUE, BUT A CAR AND WEIGHT-DISTRIBUTION ISSUE. DRIVING IN THE RAIN OR ON WET ROADS IS VERY DANGEROUS IN A HONDA ODYSSEY.
THE BATTERY AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FREQUENTLY GOES DEAD, LEAVING MY FAMILY STRANDED AND FEELING INSECURE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE. FOR EXAMPLE, IF I SIT IN THE CAR, TURNED OFF, WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION (NO LIGHTS ON, NO RADIO, ETC.) THE BATTERY WILL DIE. I HAVE TO HAVE IT JUMPED, OR WAIT HOURS (WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION) FOR THE BATTERY TO RECHARGE. I DON'T FEEL SAFE BEING STRANDED SOMEPLACE FOR HOURS AT NIGHT.
BATT LO WARNING COMES ON FROM TIME TO TIME IN OUR 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE AT THE DEALERS TWICE FOR THIS PROBLEM, ONE TIME FOR 2 DAYS WITH NOTHING MORE FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER "TO DRIVE THE CAR MORE TO KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED UP" THIS IS NOT A FIX, IT IS ONLY A BAND AID. HONDA OF AMERICA SERVICE REP I TALKED WITH WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I TOLD HIM THE WIFE IS WORRIED THAT IF IT IS REAL AND IGNORED SHE MAY BE LEFT STRANDED WHICH COULD BE A DANGER TO HER IN THESE TIMES. HONDA HAS SENT A "SERVICE NEWS ARTICLE" TO THEIR DEALERS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BUT AGAIN THEIR COMMENT TO FIX THE PROBLEM IS TO CHARGE THE BATTERY AND MOMENTARILY DISCONNECT THE BATTERY SENSOR FOR 10 SEC, AND AGAIN THIS WAS DONE TO OUR VEHICLE AND WAS ONLY A SHORT TERM FIX., WITHIN DAYS IT WAS DOING IT AGAIN. HONDA NEEDS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND GET THIS GENERIC PROBLEM FIXED. *TT
SIR / MADAM: I BOUGHT A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING ELITE, IN DECEMBER, 2010. IT HAS A DEFECTIVE FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM WHICH CAUSES THE FRONT ROTORS TO WARP AND THE BRAKE PADS TO GLAZE OVER FROM OVERHEATING; CAUSING ALL THESE COMPONENTS TO PREMATURELY WARE OUT. I BELIEVE ALL HONDA ODYSSEY'S HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. HONDA SAYS THE FRONT ROTORS ONLY HAVE A 12,000 MILE WARRANTY, SINCE IT IS A WEAR ITEM, I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF ALL REPAIRS. ON TWO (2) OCCASIONS, WHILE TRAVELING ON THE US INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS, DOWN STEEP MOUNTAINS IN COLORADO AND NORTH CAROLINA, THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED SHAKING 3 INCHES ' WHICH IS VERY FRIGHTENING ' SO MUCH SO, I STARTED LOOKING FOR THE 'RUNAWAY TRUCK RAMP'! THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 46,000 MILES AND HAS HAD TWO (2) SETS OF FRONT ROTORS INSTALLED, THE CURRENT ROTORS HAVE BEEN TURNED AT LEAST THREE (3) TIMES, AND THREE (3) SETS OF FRONT BRAKE PADS. THE FRONT END CURRENTLY SHAKES WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED BECAUSE THE ROTORS ARE WARPED AGAIN BUT THE DEALER WANTS TO WAIT LONGER BEFORE TURNING THEM (THEY ARE ALMOST TO THE MINIMUM ROTOR THICKNESS). I HAVE DOCUMENTED THESE PROBLEMS BY EMAIL AND IN PERSON WITH THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER, HONDA MANUFACTURING AND HONDA USA. HONDA'S DISTRICT CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER DROVE THE VEHICLE AT 46,073 MILES AND ACKNOWLEDGED THE FRONT ROTORS WERE WARPED. HOWEVER, HONDA DENIES THERE IS A FRONT BRAKE PROBLEM. EVERY OTHER AUTOMOBILE I HAVE EVER OWNED HAS NOT REQUIRED BRAKE PADS BEFORE 50,000 PLUS MILES, NOR NEW ROTORS BEFORE 100,000 PLUS MILES. THE BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SETS OFF AN ALARM (BATTERY CHARGE LOW) ALMOST EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN NOV 2010. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS NOT DESIGNED TO CHARGE THE BATTERY PROPERLY AND MAY CAUSE ME TO BE STRANDED WITH A DEAD BATTERY WITH NORMAL DRIVING AND USAGE. I HAD PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON 03/14/2011 FROM STOCKTON HONDA. THE VIN IS [XXX]. MY VAN IS LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD WITH LESS THAN 3,000 MILES. THE ?LOW BATTERY WARNING LIGHT? SHOULD NOT COME ON BECAUSE THIS IS A BRAND NEW VEHICLE. WHEN THE ?LOW BATTERY WARNING LIGHT? COMES ON, ALL THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY. MANUAL SLIDING DOORS (BOTH SIDES), ARE EXTREMELY HARD FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN TO OPEN, EITHER FROM INSIDE THE CAR OR OUTSIDE THE CAR. IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT, IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT/IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY CHILDREN TO OPEN THE DOORS TO EXIT THE VEHICLE WITHOUT ANY HELP. MANY ADULTS WOULD EXPERIENCE A SIMILAR PROBLEM. VEHICLE WAS BRAND NEW OFF THE TRUCK (ONLY 4 MILES ON IT) AND AS SOON AS MY IPHONE 4 WAS PAIRED WITH THE VEHICLES HFL SYSTEM, THE TPMS FAILED. I'VE RESEARCHED ONLINE FORUMS AND AM SEEING A GROWING LIST OF OWNERS REPORTING THE SAME ISSUE. *TR

TAKEN AN APPOINT WITH HONDA SERVICE AND THEY WOULD LIKE TO ADJUST THE TYRE PRESSURE. ANOTHER DEALTER WOULD LIKE TO RESET THE WHOLE SENSOR SETTINGS.
