WE OWNED A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EX-L FOR TWO MONTHS WHEN THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY SAID THE BATTERY WAS VERY LOW AND IT NEEDED A FULL 2 HOUR CHARGE SO WE LEFT IT OVERNIGHT. LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LATER THE LIGHT IS ON AGAIN; WE HAVE DRIVEN FEWER THAN 150 MILES SINCE THE SERVICE. WE HAVE NEITHER THE DVD NOR NAV, HAVE NOT PLUGGED IN ANY EXTERNAL DEVICES SINCE THE SERVICE, AND LEAVE NOTHING ON WHEN WE PARK THE VEHICLE. *TR
I BOUGHT A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EX IN FEBRUARY. AFTER 500 MILES ONE DAY AFTER COMPLETELY NORMAL ROUTINE DRIVING, THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT AND WARNING BELL CAME ON. CALLED DEALER AND WAS ADVISED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. WARNING WENT OFF AFTER 30 MINS OF DRIVING, BUT THEN CAME BACK ON THE NEXT DAY. WENT TO DEALER WHO TESTED BATTERY. BATTERY WAS OVER 600 CCA, WHEN ONLY REQUIRES 550, SO CLEARLY A FALSE ALARM. THE HONDA SERVICE BULLETIN ADVISE CUSTOMERS TO NOT USE TOO MANY ELECTRONICS; ALL WE HAD ON THE DAYS THIS HAPPENED WAS THE ENGINE AND THE RADIO. THIS IS AN ISSUE NEEDING RESOLUTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. *TR
TPMS SYSTEM ON 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING ELITE IS DEFECTIVE LEADING TO TPMS SYSTEM SHUTDOWN. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER THE KEY WAS IN THE IGNITION THE ELECTRICAL WARNING LIGHT IMMEDIATELY ILLUMINATED INFORMING THE CONTACT TO SHUT OFF ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS FORCED TO TURN OFF ALL OF THE LIGHTS IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH INDICATED THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONTACT NEEDED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE MORE OFTEN. ALTHOUGH THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE MORE FREQUENTLY THE ELECTRICAL WARNING LIGHT CONTINUED TO COME ON. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH TO OCCUR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 700.
RADIAN XTSL CONVERTIBLE CHILD SAFETY SEAT WITH SUPERLATCH HAS A LATCH ADJUSTER THAT DOES NOT ALLOW THE INSTALLATION TO REMAIN TIGHT. EVEN WHEN I HAVE PROPERLY INSTALLED THE SEAT (AS VERIFIED BY MANUALS AND CAR SEAT TECHS), A SIMPLE TAP ON THE TILTING ADJUSTER WILL COMPLETELY LOOSEN THE LATCH STRAPS, RESULTING IN A SEAT THAT IS NO LONGER TIGHTLY AND PROPERLY INSTALLED! THESE ADJUSTERS NEED TO BE RECALLED AND REPLACED WITH THE LOCKING TYPE THAT BRITAX, FOR INSTANCE, USES. (RELATED VEHICLE INFORMATION: MODEL YEAR=2011, MAKE=HONDA, MODEL=ODYSSEY). *TR
THIS LITTLE YELLOW ALARM MESSAGE FLASHES ON THE DASHBOARD: "BATTERY CHARGE LOW - SWITCH OFF ALL LIGHTS AND ELECTRICAL DEVICES" AND THEN IT SHUTS EVERYTHING OFF...OVERHEAD LIGHTS, DASH LIGHTS - THINGS LIKE THAT. THAT LIGHT CAN BE ON AND WE CAN DRIVE CLEAR TO TACOMA BEFORE IT GOES OFF. WE CAN HAVE JUST RETURNED HOME AFTER A TRIP TO MONROE (ALMOST 100 MILES) AND WE WILL GET THAT MESSAGE AND - AGAIN - IT WILL SHUT EVERYTHING OFF. THE CAR HAS NOT SHUT DOWN WHILE WE ARE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD - BUT IT IS FRIGHTENING TO SEE THAT MESSAGE WHEN WE ARE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY. I CAN GO BY THE CAR WHEN IT IS IN THE GARAGE AND SHUT OFF AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, I WILL HEAR THE BEEPING AND THEN I WILL SEE THE ALARM MESSAGE FLASHING IN THE CAR. THE CAR IS OFF! NO ONE TOUCHED THE CAR - BUT IT STARTS FLASHING! THEY KEEP TELLING US WE NEED TO DRIVE THE CAR MORE....BUT COME ON - IT IS 95 MILES TO MONROE! *TR
LOW BATTERY WARNING INDICATOR ON INSTRUMENT PANEL AND WARNING SOUND AFTER DRIVING AND WHEN OPENING DOOR AFTER CAR HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN FOR A FEW HOURS. *TR
DANGEROUSLY POOR HANDLING IN SNOW, DESPITE TRACTION CONTROL; IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE IT UP HILL EVEN FOR DRIVERS WITH DECADES OF EXPERIENCE DRIVING IN THE NORTHEAST.
MY 2009 HONDA ODYSSEY EX HAS 30,000 MILES AND HAS ONGOING BRAKE ISSUES. THE BRAKES ARE SOFT AND GOES TO THE FLOOR AND THE VAN DOES NOT STOP UNLESS I PUMP THE BRAKES. THE BRAKES ALSO MAKE A LOUD GRINDING SOUND WHEN TRYING TO STOP QUICKLY AND WHEN GOING DOWNHILL:(FREEWAY OFF RAMPS). IT IS NOT THE ABS BRAKING SYSTEM. THERE IS NO PULSATING FEELING ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VAN DOES NOT STOP WHEN THE BRAKES HAVE THIS GRINDING SOUND. MY HONDA DEALER HAS LOOKED AT THE BRAKES AND THEY SAY "NO ISSUES". THEY SAY BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS ARE FINE. THEY WERE CHECK AT EVERY OIL CHANGE AT THE DEALERSHIP. I HAD THE SAME SOFT BRAKES ISSUES WITH MY 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE DEALER ALSO SAID NO PROBLEMS BUT THERE WAS A RECALL WITH SOFT BRAKES PROBLEMS. I'M WORRIED WHEN I HAVE TO GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN AND COME BACK DOWN THE HILL. THERE HAS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW TO HAVE OTHER HONDA ODYSSEY OWNERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR BRAKES. *TR
"BATTERY LOW" WARNING COMES ON REPEATEDLY. BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECKED AND WAS NORMAL. BOARD LIGHTS WILL NOT COME ON WHILE THE "BATTERY LOW" MESSAGE IS ON - CAUSING A HAZARD (HAVING TO MOVE AROUND PACKAGE AND PERSONNEL IN TOTALLY DARK VEHICLE INTERIOR).
I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING ELITE 4 WEEKS AGO. AS I DROVE HOME FROM THE LOT MY TPMS (TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM) LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON. I IMMEDIATELY DROVE BACK TO THE DEALER SERVICE CENTER. INITIALLY THEY THOUGHT IT WAS JUST TIRE PRESSURE BUT QUICKLY REALIZED IT WAS AN ACTUAL ERROR OF THE TPMS SYSTEM. ONE OF THE TECHS SAID HE HAS SEEN THIS ON ONE OTHER 2011 ODYSSEY AND THAT IT IS TRIGGERED BY SMART CELLULAR PHONE INTERFERENCE. HE TOLD ME IT WOULD PROBABLY HAPPEN AGAIN IF I USED MY CELL PHONE IN THE VAN. SO THEY RESET THE TPMS ERROR AND I TURNED OFF MY CELL AND DROVE FOR 30 MINUTES WITH NO ISSUES. SO THEN I TURNED MY CELL PHONE ON, AND STILL NO ISSUES FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES. THEN MY WIFE CALLED AND AT THE EXACT MOMENT MY CELL PHONE RANG THE TPMS WENT INTO ERROR AGAIN. SO THE SERVICE CENTER TELLS ME THIS IS SOMETHING THEY CAN'T FIX. THEY ARE WAITING FOR A FIX FROM HONDA. WHEN I SUBMITTED THE CASE TO HONDA CORP CUSTOMER CARE THEY SAY THAT THIS IS NOT A "KNOWN ISSUE" AND THAT THEY ARE NOT ACTIVELY WORKING ON A RESOLUTION FOR IT. WHEN TPMS ERROR OCCURS THE TPMS SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY DISABLED AUTOMATICALLY BY THE VEHICLE COMPUTER. THEREFORE, MY VAN CURRENTLY DOES NOT HAVE TPMS PROTECTION. I JUST SPOKE WITH MY DEALER SERVICE CENTER AGAIN AND THEY TELL ME THEY NOW HAVE 5 REPORTS OF THIS SAME PROBLEM ON 2011 ODYSSEY ELITES. *TR
ON THE 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EX-L (YOUR DROP DOWN MENU DOES NOT GIVE THE ODYSSEY AS AN OPTION..BUT IT IS THE ODYSSEY), THE DRIVER'S SIDE MIRROR HAS A DISTORTION ON THE OUTER EDGE OF THE MIRROR WHICH CAUSES THE DRIVER TO EXPERIENCE DIZZINESS WHEN LOOKING AT VEHICLES AT DISTANCE. THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED BY NUMEROUS DRIVERS ON THE WEB BUT NEITHER HONDA NOR CRISWELL HONDA IN ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE MIRROR UNTIL A HONDA BULLETIN IS RELEASED WHICH WILL PROBABLY BE AFTER AN ACCIDENT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 25 MPH IN EXTREMELY SUNNY WEATHER WHEN HE NOTICED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WAS UNREADABLE DUE TO THE REFLECTION OF THE SUN. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURER IN THAT MANNER AND COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DASH INDICATED "LOW BATTERY" ON A NEW MINIVAN 6 WEEKS OLD. THE BATTERY COULD HAVE GONE DEAD AT ANY TIME. A LETTER FROM HONDA TO DEALERS INDICATED THEY HAD MANY TECH LINE CONTACTS REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. THIS LETTER TOLD THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT THE CUSTOMER SHOULD DRIVE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME AND IT MAY CHARGE THE BATTERY. CHARGING THE BATTERY BY THE DEALER WAS NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE. HONDA OF AMERICA CALLED AFTER I WROTE AND INDICATED THAT THEY HAD NO INTENTION TO DEAL WITH THIS SAFETY PROBLEM. THERE WOULD BE NO RECALL TO UPGRADE THE CHARGING SYSTEM OR THE BATTERY.
I PURCHASED A NEW 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY EX ON 1/21/2011. AFTER ARRIVING HOME MY WIFE OPENED THE PASSENGER DOOR AND THE 'LOW BATTERY CHECK MANUAL' WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS IMMEDIATELY TURNED OFF. THE NEXT DAY AND FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS THE WARNING LIGHT KEPT COMING ON. ON PAGE 87 OF THE OWNER'S MANUAL IT STATES THAT DRIVING FOR SHORT TRIPS DOESN'T GIVE THE BATTERY TIME TO RECHARGE AND THE LOW BATTERY WARNING MAY FLASH. MY DEALER STATED THAT SOME ODYSSEY'S HAVE FAULT IN THE BATTERY SENSOR SYSTEM AND WILL BE NEED TO BE HOOKED UP TO A DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE FOR 2-3 HOURS. I WAS TOLD THAT IF THE LOW BATTERY COMES ON WHILE I'M DRIVING TO BRING IT IN IMMEDIATELY. I TOOK THE CAR ON A 500 MILE ROAD TRIP AND TWO 300 MILE ROAD TRIPS. THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT HAS NOT COME ON SINCE. *TR
THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT ON THE INSTRUMENTAL PANEL WARNS AND FLASHES EVERY TIME THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND THE REAR SLIDING DOORS ARE OPEN OF THE 2011 ODYSSEY. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE AT MY HONDA DEALERSHIP (SPORT HONDA, 3101 AUTOMOBILE BLVD., SILVER SPRING, MD) AND BOTH TIMES WERE TOLD BY MY SERVICE ADVISOR THAT THE VAN IS DESIGNED TO PREVENT PREMATURE BATTERY FAILURE AND THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. THIS ISSUE DIDN'T START TIL 2 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. IT IS NOW HAPPENING MORE FREQUENT. I SPOKE TO A REPRESENTATIVE (MAY 3, 2011) FROM THE HONDA CORPORATION AND TOLD THEM OF THIS ISSUE. THEY DOCUMENTED EVERYTHING AND TOLD ME THAT THE ENGINEERS ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A FIX FOR THIS.
LOW BATTERY WARNING LIGHT COMES ON EVERY TIME WE GET INTO OR OUT OF THE VEHICLE. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER 2 TIMES TO HAVE THEM FIX IT AND THEY TELL ME TO DRIVE IT MORE. I HAVE CHARGED THE BATTERY AT LEAST 5 TIMES MYSELF AND THE WARNING WILL ALWAYS RETURN. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS SHUT OFF WITH THE WARNING MAKING IT VERY HARD AND UNSAFE TO LOAD SMALL CHILDREN INTO THE VEHICLE. HONDA WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM, BUT THERE IS EITHER A LOW BATTERY CONDITION OR A FALSE WARNING. *TR
LOW BATTERY LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON EFFECTS PRESETS, AND INTERIOR LIGHT, WAS LOOKED AT 4 TIME WITH NO CHANGE. WAS TOLD NOT TO MAKE SHORT TRIPS WHAT MOTHER DOESN'T TAKE SHORT TRIP GIVE ME A BREAK. NOISE COMING FROM FRONT END, STRUT ASSEMBLIES REPLACE ON BOTH SIDES STILL MAKES NOISE GOING BACK IN TO BE LOOKED AT AGAIN. I DON'T EVEN HAVE 3000 MILES ON IT YET HAS BEEN IN SHOP MORE THAN ANY CAR I HAVE OWNED. I THINK IT IS A LEMON !!! *TR
THE DASHBOARD CONSTANTLY SHOWS "BATTERY CHARGE LOW. SEE OWNER'S MANUAL." APPEARS CONSTANTLY. WHEN I TAKE MINIVAN TO DEALERSHIP FOR THE THIRD TIME FOR THIS PROBLEM, I AM TOLD TO DRIVE CAR MORE TO CHARGE BATTERY. THIS WAS AFTER THE CAR SAT AFTER DRIVING IT FOR A 120 MILES AND THEN SAT FOR 1 DAY. A CAR'S BATTERY SHOULD HOLD A CHARGE FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE HAVING THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE CAR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START AND LEAVE ME STRANDED. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED HE ATTEMPTED TO TURN ON THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED BUT THEY WOULD NOT FUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED BUT THE CONTACT COULD NOT RECALL WHAT THE DIAGNOSIS WAS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 420.
SINCE TAKING DELIVERY OF MY 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY IT HAS HAD A FAULTY BATTERY SENSOR, THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED. THE SENSOR FALSELY REPORTS THAT THE BATTERY IS LOW AND DISABLES SOME OF THE ONBOARD EQUIPMENT INCLUDING INTERIOR LIGHTS AND PATHWAY LIGHTS LEAVING CAR IN THE DARK. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH THE STEERING BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. AFTER STOPPING FOR GAS AND LETTING THE BRAKES COOL OFF THE SHAKING CEASED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DECIDED TO REPLACED THE ROTORS AFTER HAVING THEM ROTATED THREE PREVIOUS VISITS. THEY CONTINUE TO WARP AND CAUSE THE SHAKING IN THE STEERING. THE FRONT BRAKES HAD BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE A CHIME SOUNDED AND A LOW BATTERY INDICATOR BEGAN ILLUMINATING ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE BATTERY WAS RECHARGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON FIVE OCCASIONS WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000. WE BOUGHT A 2011 ODYSSEY EX IN MID NOVEMBER OF LAST YEAR AND HAD AN AFTER MARKET REMOTE STARTER PUT IN THE WEEK AFTER WE GOT IT. A FEW DAYS LATER, THE VSA LIGHT CAME ON. AFTER 3 TRIPS TO HONDA THEY FINALLY FIXED IT, THE WHOLE MODULE WAS BURNT OUT. A WEEK OR SO LATER, THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT STARTED COMING ON. AFTER MAYBE 4-5 TRIPS BACK TO HONDA, THEY SAY HONDA IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM BUT THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE. I DON'T DRIVE LONG DISTANCE BEING A MOM OF 3 KIDS. THEY SAY SHORT DISTANCES FOR THIS CAR ARE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. SO IT'S MY FAULT I DON'T DRIVE THAT MUCH AND NOT FAR!!! THE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CHIMES SEVERAL TIMES EACH DAY WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR AND SOMETIMES WHEN I TURN THE CAR OFF. THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT AND CHIMES ALSO GOES ON WHEN I'M JUST SITTING IN THE CAR W/ THE ENGINE OFF AND KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION. IT'S REALLY GETTING ANNOYING AND THEY HAVE NO SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM. YOU BUY A NEW CAR FOR ALL THAT MONEY AND YOU DON'T EXPECT TO SEE PROBLEMS IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. IN THE 4 MONTHS SINCE OWNING THE CAR, I HAVE 2000 MILES AND THE PROBLEMS STARTED AT ABOUT 150 MILES. I LOVE THE CAR EXCEPT FOR THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT ON ALL THE TIME. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT A CABLE CORD HAD NOT BEEN PROPERLY CONNECTED AND WAS CAUSING THE LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER CONNECTED THE CABLE CORD PROPERLY HOWEVER, THE LOW BATTERY LIGHT CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR THE SAME FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT SHE WOULD POSSIBLY HAVE TO REPLACE THE CABLE CORD. THE CONTACT DID NOT INFORM THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FAILURE NOR WAS THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 800. BATTERY WARNING LIGHT CONTINUALLY LIGHTS. DEALER INDICATES THAT WE NEED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE MORE. ALL INTERIOR LIGHTS SHUT OFF. DEALER HAS BEEN USELESS. HONDA REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE. BATTERY CHARGE LOW SEE DRIVERS MANUAL CONSISTENTLY APPEARS ON THE DASHBOARD SCREEN. NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN LEFT ON IN THE CAR. BRAND NEW 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING. ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD. HAPPENS AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY. *TR
THE VAN HAS, ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS (APPROX 1 PER 1000 MILES) FAILED TO ACCELERATE ON COMMAND, IN FACT, IT ACTUALLY SEEMS TO STALL OUT FOR 1 TO 5 SECONDS. THE LONGER IT STALLS OUT, THE MORE EXPLOSIVE THE ACCELERATION, ONCE IT COMES. THIS CONDITION SEEMS TO CROP UP MOST OFTEN JUST AFTER SLACKING OFF ON THE GAS. FOR EXAMPLE: IN TRAFFIC, IF I AND HAVE TAKEN MY FOOT OFF THE GAS TO MAINTAIN SPACE FROM THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME, THEN TRY TO ACCELERATE TO GET INTO AN OPENING IN THE ADJACENT LANE, THE VAN JUST HANGS THERE, AS IF THE IGNITION HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. THEN SUDDENLY, THE CAR RESPONDS TO THE ACCELERATOR WITH A JERK. MY THEORY IS THAT IT HAS TO DO WITH THE FUEL CONSERVATION SYSTEM THAT TURNS VARIOUS NUMBERS OF CYLINDERS OFF AND ON, DEPENDING ON DEMAND. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE DEALER WHO SOLD THIS TO ME AND THEY ASKED ME IF I COULD TAKE IT OUT FOR A DRIVE AND DUPLICATE IT FOR THEM. I TOLD THEM IT WOULD BE OKAY IF THEY WERE WILLING TO PAY FOR THE GAS BECAUSE I CAN'T "MAKE" IT DO IT ON COMMAND. I'VE JUST BECOME AWARE THAT WHAT I DESCRIBE IS THE MOST COMMON CIRCUMSTANCE: STEADY OR SLIGHT ACCELERATION FOLLOWED BY SLACKING OFF, FOLLOWED BY AN ATTEMPT AT RAPID ACCELERATION. THE ATTEMPT AT RAPID ACCELERATION RESULTS IN HESITATION AND THEN RAPID ACCELERATION, EITHER OF WHICH, COULD CREATE THE SITUATION FOR AN ACCIDENT. *TR
A "BATT LOW SEE MANUAL" LIGHT AND WARNING BEEP OCCURS ON MY HONDA ODYSSEY 2011 SINCE PURCHASE. MY HONDA DEALER HAS CHARGED THE BATTERY AND CHECKED THE SOFTWARE WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM. I HAVE ALSO REPORTED TO HONDA HEADQUARTERS. HONDA HAS NOT FIXED THIS PROBLEM. THE ODYCLUB AND EDMUNDS TOWNHALL FORUMS ARE FULL OF OTHERS REPORTING THIS PROBLEM. HONDA'S RECOMMENDATION IS SIMPLY TO DRIVE THE VAN MORE RATHER THAN FIND A RESOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY INDICATION LAMP ILLUMINATED AS THE WINDOWS AND SUN ROOF OPENED INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE AND THAT THEY SHOULD USED THE COMPONENTS MORE OFTEN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
2011 HONDA ODYSSEY TOURING - THE DRIVER SIDE SMALL WINDOW FORWARD OF THE DRIVER DOOR APPEARS TO NOT BE SEALED CORRECTLY. WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ON WINDY DAYS, THERE IS SIGNIFICANT AIR NOISE IN THE CABIN OF THE CAR. THE NOISE IS SO PRONOUNCED THAT IT OFTEN SOUNDS AS THOUGH A WINDOW IN THE CAR IS CRACKED OPEN. THE SOUND WAS FIRST NOISED THE DAY DELIVERY WAS TAKEN ON THE CAR. THIS IS MY 4TH HONDA ODYSSEY AND 6TH HONDA PRODUCT OWNED BY ME. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I EVER HEARD A NOISE LIKE THIS. I CALLED SERVICE BUT THEY OFFERED NO CONCLUSION, OTHER THAN TO FIX IT MYSELF. *TR
