Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)The fuel door/charge door would not open. Conditions were such that I was safe and had sufficient range without charging, but were I farther from home this could have left me stranded. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer, other service center, manufacturer, police, or insurance representative, though a friend was not able to open it either/confirmed the issue was not "user error". There were no warnings. The incident occurred after rain in the prior evening, followed by below freezing temperatures. The fuel/plug door opened in the afternoon when temperatures were warmer.
When driving the instrument panel displayed a warning message of electrical problem and stop the vehicle. BlueLink displayed failure code P1A9096 indicating ICCVU failure. Drove vehicle to local dealer where the ICCU/fuse was replaced.
