over the course of this last year I've been in contact with Hyundai motors of America and my local Hyundai dealership after my 2015 Hyundai was showing signs of engine issues i was traveling along i-95 with my child at highway speeds when my car suddenly came to a stop causing panic and what could've been a tragic accident. had I wasn't able to regain control of my car. I was told to schedule an appointment which I did that same day taking my car in for service where I learned about several recalls on my car make and model. I was informed that a update was need along with knock sensor detecting software since that initial contact I've taking my car back to the dealer regarding smell of something burning and excessive oil consumption. my local dealership have since performed Nemours oil consumption test finding issues and picking and choosing what information is being sent up to corperate. I had the service manager tell me Hyundai is not willing to honor the repair unless my car engine brakes down or catch fire which is very likely. the service manager then proceeded to state I would in fact need a new engine eventually. "I have everything documented " which then I contacted Hyundai motors America for a second time and was told to return to dealership where a case was open not once but twice and ended up closed stating Hyundai motors America not honoring the extended warranty on my vehicle. this is very hazardous and concerning cause my car again on 9/15/2023 came to a sudden stop traveling highway speed.
Hybrid car with various hybrid system failures that results in sudden loss of power while driving. this has occurred 3 times to me while on the highway (I-75 in South FL). Car suddenly loses power, could not accelerate but I was able to get off the highway safety. This has been reproduced at the dealer and they first replaced the hybrid generator then the hybrid battery and ECM and now it occurred again yesterday while I had 2 children with me and now they blame the transmission. This is a dangerous car that should be recalled and investigated for the true cause of sudden and unpredictable power loss.
Hybrid system warning comes up often and everytime I take it to get assessed, something different is getting fixed. These repairs are all expensive out of pocket repairs. The problems continues to happen and I’m constantly repairing something different.
Trying to break after being hit to prevent hitting another driver . Ended up hitting the driver still and my car ended up catching on fire .
Consuming 1 quart of oil every 2 weeks, which is about 800 miles of highway driving for me.
Insurance companies are not proving insurance because of rise in theft of Hyundai vehicle. Now they are asking to install remote start kit for physical engine immobilizer. Cost of this installation is $350 - $500, Hyundai is not entertaining this issue. Hyundai are saying we have done anti theft software update but insurance companies are saying that is not enough.
Engine Failure for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.4L In-Line4 (144CI) VIN(F) Odometer 141477. Engine starts then runs hot starts clunking and sputtering and then shuts off. Burns oil and has caused a complete exhaust failure. Vehicle cannot past emissions text. The vehicle was a safety risk as the engine may catch fire and the vehicle was use for transportation to work and children to school. The Engine Light stays on constantly the engine oil light comes on as oil is burned off. Vehicle was purchased at a third party dealer and as the new owner did not receive recall notice or settlement notice.
I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Carmax on 12/6/22 in Tinley Park, IL. The motor on the car went out on 8/30/23. I took my car to family mechanic to find out that the motor has a hole in the back of it. I had it towed to Happy Hyundai on 9/1/23 in Oak Lawn. I was by Happy Hyundai that they will not be able to look at my car for for 4-6 weeks. Carmax claimed to have did an all point inspection on the car but yet the motor went out. I’ve only had the car for 8 months. The motor went out while I was driving on the express way going over 50 mph. My safety and others around me was put at risk. Luckily me and no one was hurt. The only time the engine warning lamps came on while I was on the expressway and that’s when the car started to slow down while trying to get to the right side of the expressway.
While driving, I was in the middle of a left turn and had a reduction of the power steering assist system. I had to hit the brakes before entering the opposing traffic. I had to muscle the steering wheel to get out of the middle of the road.
The contact’s daughter owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while the vehicle was idling, the vehicle hesitated. The contact stated that his daughter had to depress the accelerator pedal to rev the engine. The contact then stated that on a separate occasion while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hesitated and stalled. Additionally, the contact stated that on another separate occasion while his daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated. The contact’s daughter was able to regain control of the vehicle and depressed the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the vehicle remained. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
This is the second engine that has been replaced for the same issue. It had a connecting road bearing failure & went into limp mode.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that she checked the engine oil every Sunday and became aware that the oil level was low. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The contact was adding one quart of engine oil every ten days. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000.
Engine just stopped while driving This should be apart of the attached recall but it is not showing when looked up by my vinn. How to update this?
Component : High pressure fuel pump Is being fixed as speak ; can provide statement and diagnostic from mechanic. 2. The first time the fuel pump failed it went out on the freeway, I was accelerating onto the freeway and I hear a big pop sound , the whole car went into limp mode . Leaving to cruising on the freeway. No warning , no check engine . I had children in the car . The issue was deemed ; a faulty fuel pump . Second time mechanic let me know there was a crack in the pump ( had been replaced less than a year ago ) . Because of the crack , gas & fumes filled the cabin of the vehicle , to the point where you could not operate without having all windows down . The vehicle could have caught fire ! Me and my family could have been hospitalized because of these fumes coming through the vents. Again, no check engine , nothing ! That repair is being fixed as we speak . Another $1,200 job . 3. No the vehicle has not been inspected by insurance or law enforcement . Only by licensed mechanic shops . 4. There were no warnings , Both times the high pressure fuel pump failed . No prior signs of the issue the first time & the second time the gas smell was so unbearable , that was the indication .
Vehicle displayed hybrid warning while moving through an intersection on a highway. The car's engine turned off along with the power steering and brakes. Had the light not been in my favor, I would have been unable to stop on a high speed highway with oncoming traffic.
Car has a distinct burning smell when driving it. This has been going on since late summer of 2023. I moved to a different state from NC to AL. Had it inspected and because it wasn’t smelling at the time the mechanic stated there were no issues. Also, got a recall for campaign 993 with my vin number from Hyundai and no dealership will honor it bc when they look up the vin it says no recall due. Please help me rectify this situation so I’m not out of a car. I don’t know if it’s bc I relocated that I’m not getting cooperation. I’m not able to even schedule an appt with the dealership bc of this. Please help.
The engine and yes it is. Because my car turned off in the middle of the loop on the highway when there was a lot of traffic and we could have gotten hit. No it has not been. No it has not been. We were driving on the highway then the engine started sputtering and it wouldn’t go faster then 40 when I tried pulling off to the side that’s when the engine ,battery ,and oil light turned on and after that the car just shut off and wouldn’t want to turn back on.
I have taken my car to mechanic and they have told me that my car is leaking gasoline. They recommended that I go to the dealer. When I called the dealer they told me that I would have to pay for the diagnosis. This is obviously concerning as gasoline fumes are toxic. There has been no warning lamps turned on this whole time but can definitely smell it when I finish my ride.
While driving, received Hybrid system warning that shut the car down . Power steering and braking were non-existent so safely stopping and pulling over was near impossible.
While turning in an intersection on a highway, car displayed check hybrid system and shut down. power steering could not engage so braking and turning was almost impossible. Car had to be towed, was not able to be restored
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? My engine stopped working while I was driving on the highway from Texas to Norman. This happened when I tried downshifting from 6 to 5. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? I had to find a way to maneuver from the fast lane to the side of the road without putting myself or any other road user at risk. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? After several failed diagnoses from different specialists such as auto locksmiths and other mechanics looking at the alternator and starter as possible causes of the problem, I had to have it towed to the Hyundai dealership in Norman to have it diagnosed and I was told that it was very likely to be an engine recall issue with a motor inside the engine having locked up. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? It was inspected by Hyundai Norman and they confirmed that it was the engine recall issue, but after sending it to Hyundai headquarters, they are unable to work on the problem due to my vehicle having a salvage title. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning lamps, messages or symptoms prior to the engine failure
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that two weeks after having the oil changed, the low oil warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed to not add oil but to bring the vehicle back to the dealer at 1,000 miles driven. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
The electric power steering suddenly failed while making a turn on a neighborhood road shortly after beginning a drive. The incident also triggered warning lights for the Forward Collision Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and Smart High Beam System. I was able to return the car to a safe location and turn it off. When I turned the car back on later, power steering and other systems worked normally. The service center was unable to recreate the issue. They recommended replacing the steering column for a cost of $3,000+ but did not perform the service due to the issue not recurring. Approximately 10 days later, the electric power steering failed again while backing out of a parking space. It worked normally again after turning the car off and back on. It is unclear if this issue is connected to the known problem with the steering coupler in this vehicle. (My specific vehicle was not included in the recall associated with the coupler issue, but has demonstrated the steering catch/clunk that is the hallmark of that problem.)
Hyundai is having failed engine problems after certain amount of mileage. The engine is burning oils with no leaks anywhere in the engine. You change engine oil after a week we will see the engine light flashing on your dashboard. This is my 2nd vehicle with the same problem. Thank you
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.
We have a 2015 hyundai sonata with a panoramic sunroof. About 2 weeks ago we opened the sunroof and noticed the wind deflector popped up higher than normal. When we tried to close the sunroof it would not close. The deflector was sticking up and we had to push it down quickly to avoid punching our hands in the sunroof. It still did not want to close after we tried, but the sunroof was down almost all the way. We called hyundai the same day to get it looked at. We thought maybe it broke something in the process of closing because it didn't look closed 100%. They could not get us in until mid August. We were not too concerned because the sunroof was mostly closed down so rain could not get in. Today driving about 50 mph the sunroof just FLEW off the car and shattered into a million pieces in full traffic. Someone could have been seriously injured!! There was absolutely no indication that the sunroof was not secure on our vehicle otherwise we would not have drove it
The vehicle is demonstrating clear signs of engine failure based off the symptoms Hyundai states on its website for the rod knock bearing recall (no power, enters limp mode, white smoke out tailpipes, etc.) Hyundai states vehicle passes testing. Engine also has oil consumption issues, has had its PVC value fail twice in ten months, and burns through 1.5 qts of oil every 496 miles (has failed all 3 consumption tests). The vehicle has stalled out on multiple occasions and risked my/my child's life, has required cylinder cleanings and fuel injection cleanings, and the engine gets extremely hot. This is the second failed engine in the Sonata, and Hyundai has not stated if they will replace it.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while decelerating and approaching a stop light, the vehicle suddenly experienced a loss of motive power and stalled. The vehicle could not be restarted and was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the engine had seized and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,000.
The air bag warning light illumination. Dealer replaced the "clock spring" in steering wheel. This part was recalled for all like vehicles through 2014 and warranty as extended to 100,000 miles or 14 years. Model year 2015 was not included in the recall, yet the same part failed thereby making the driver's front air bag inoperable. It should have been included in the recall. I requested reimbursement from the manufacturer in the amount of $638.50 but was told the vehicle was no longer under warranty. No vehicle should br driven without properly working air bags.
ENGINE CYLINDER MALFUNCTION. LOSS OF POWER AND CHOKING, HESITATION IN MOVING FORWARD. COULD CAUSE ACCIDENT OR TRAFFIC FLOW. NOT CONFIRM BY DEALER. BUT AUTOMOBILE IS REPAIR SHOP TO DETERMINE PROBLEM.NO WARNING SIGNS ARE DISPLAYED.
I took the car for 4 recalls it had 2 of which were physical and the other two were software according to them. Took the car back to drop someone off, turned it off and then on; it began losing and breaking on its own at slow rpm’s slamming on the breaks. a minute later after having turned the corner I turned on my hazards and it had continued to randomly happen to the car. It is not consistent it is completely random and I have had a mechanic only inspect it while it happened once because I’ve only been able to have it happen while being inspected out of luck . I’ve gotten several error codes to the car since from p04 misfires. Evap leaks etc. the car was in pitch perfect condition and after that day it has since stopped working properly . I have photos of the mechanics that day even leaving food in the back of my car as if they just relaxed and didn’t do their job as professional as it could’ve have been . They denied anything is wrong with the car and have offered me discounted inspections after claiming nothing was wrong they gave me one free inspection and I haven’t gone back . My engine or censors are messed up. It puts my health and others at safety because it slams on the breaks unknowingly and randomly at low RPMs. The manufacturer has inspected my car and claimed it was okay although they unprofessionally left food and ate breakfast and left trash in the back. (With photo proof) . Last there was NO issues whatsoever with my car until that day. Never had a misfire . Never had a engine light . Never had a popped tire . It all began they DAY I got my car back not even an hour later. I could not return that day because it was near closing time of the dealership and the day after I went they denied it has been tampered. This happened around the beginning of July 1-8th 2023.
The contact's friend owned a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while her friend was driving at 20 MPH, a motorist informed her that there was a fire visible underneath the hood. As her friend opened the driver-side door, the vehicle became engulfed in flames. The contact's friend was taken to the hospital where she sustained severe burns to the left side of her body. The contact's friend had her skin grafted from the right side of her body to repair the severe burns sustained to her left thigh and ankle as well as other parts of her body. A police and fire report was filed. The vehicle was completely incinerated due to the failure. The remains of the vehicle were towed to an independent tow yard where it was deemed a total loss. According to the fire report, the fire was caused by an unknown electrical failure malfunction; the source of the failure was undetermined. The dealer nor the manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was 71,820
I would like to write about my experience with New Port Richey Hyundai. I have owned a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited since 2015. I take immaculate care of my car and it only has 65,000 miles. All maintenance has been done regularly and on time. For the last six months I have had a warning light and alarm going off for a few seconds once in a while, which shuts off my cruise control. I took the car in, in the spring of 2023 to have the codes read and no problems were found. Finally, In July of 2023, while my wife was in traffic it started again and totally shut off the car. Unfortunately, the brakes did not work as well. She was going up a slight incline and was able to come to a stop. The brake pedal went completely to the floor. The warning was about a Hybrid System Failure. It was very upsetting to her that her brakes failed when the Hybrid system had a problem. This should never happen! Once the car was towed to New Port Richey Hyundai in Florida, we were told that the car would be look after. The car was returned in the middle of July 2023 with a new electric motor installed. Everything was working fine until today, August 23, 2023. The same warning light that I brought the car in for in May 2023 is going off again. It only stays on for a second or two, so I don’t have time to read it. I really hope this car does not shut off again with no brakes when traveling on the interstate. As mentioned before the car has low miles and is well cared for. This should not be happening.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle shut off without warning. The contact had the battery replaced, but the vehicle would not start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that ECM needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was unknown.
I have about 119,000 miles on my Sonata. One day while driving in normal conditions my check engine light illuminated and my RPMs were limited. I was Able to limp it home and park it. I hooked Up my OBD11 reader and it gives me p1326 code for knock sensor. After some investigation I read Hyundai has a recall for excessive rod bearing wear that leads to engine failure. I’ve checked my VIN with this recall and my 2015 sonata does not qualify even though it has the same engine and make as the recall covers. Knock sensor has been replaced and of course it wasn’t the problem as you can clearly hear the knocking in the engine.
Engine failure due to a problem with the type of engine. Hyundai denied warranty and class action settlement claim, due to exceptional neglect. All oil changes etc were accounted for. the car with no warning, had been driving great, lost all power and left me and my two grandchildren on the side of the road. The Hyundai dealership confirmed that the engine was blown. There were no warnings
My car has an anti theft defect that’s making cars like mine easy to be stolen. Over the weekend I took my kids to six flags and my car was stolen. I had my 3 kids with me and my wife. My kids are scared and feels unsafe. If theirs anything you guys can do to help me out, I will appreciate it. I do not have the money to fix my car at the time. I need my car to get back and forth to work.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The contact added oil to the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called an independent mechanic who referred her to the dealer. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ball bearing and valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. The rotors and brakes were metal-to-metal, and the vehicle was losing oil. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000. The VIN was not available.
My 2015 Hyundai Sonata has recently been having both electrical and engine problems. Roughly a month ago, I had my vehicle completely stall in the middle of the highway. I lost power and a bunch of lights came on at once. Thankfully, I was in the right lane so I was able to safely get off the road even though I had many other cars speeding around me. I had no acceleration, I was just cruising off the highway at this point. Thankfully, my brakes did still work. Engine light and a bunch of errors turned on but went away once I pulled off and restarted the vehicle. I pulled off the road and once I decided to try and start it and go again, my car felt like it had hardly any power the whole way home. Fast forward to last weekend, I was driving home and my car would not accelerate. The engine light comes on and this time, my acceleration didn’t completely shut off, I was just very limited. I had to ease into the gas because I felt like it was having a hard time shifting gears and keeping up with the RPMS. I felt uncomfortable pushing it above 50. As I got close to home, I noticed a knocking noise in the engine. I plugged one of my code readers in and it spit out 7e8, 7e9 and I believe it was p1326. Super rough start and feels like it’s going to break down if I try to drive it. I’ve left it parked since
City driving and the bells and warning message on the dash stated the electrical system was being evaluated for causes why the engine/electric drive failed
My car had been in and out of dealership going through oil consumption testing. Was at dealership on Monday June 19th having more pictures as well as dropping oil pan etc. I was told Friday June 23 2023 car would be ready they were checking a seal to make sure it didn’t leak. I picked car up brought it home went out of town with my fiancée in his vehicle. Drove my car on Monday June 26th to work when I got off I picked my granddaughter and mother up. Drove home and 5 minutes of being inside my car exploded in my driveway. I did receive 1st degree burns was treated at my local ER.
The car burns oil. I have to put oil in it every few weeks. Also will start shaking while acceleration. I replaced engine coils several times. Main issue is burning oil, don't know why.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that after being parked at a rest station for an undisclosed period, his wife attempted to start the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to start. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence and later towed to the dealer, who determined that the engine had seized. The dealer related the failure to Manufacturer Service Campaign: 953 (Engine) however, the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 136,000.
Engine light came on, checked the oil and there was no oil in the engine.
Engine turned off running. Car was at Hyundai Dealer, Puerto Rico for 5 months. The car belongs to campaign lots 21-01-066H and 19-01-006H-2, which establishes alternative transportation service, or rental car coverage, the transportation service was denied. In addition, Hyundai PR did not provide me with a warranty period for the new or remanufactured engine, fuel pump and starter. A complaint was filed with DACO (government agency) and it was found in favor of the defendants Hyundai de PR and Sojitz (Cataño, PR) since they did not issue documentation reporting that it was covered under the campaign, they argue that it was as a courtesy (good will) which they also did not present evidence of. After repaired (200 miles) the car presented low voltage, code P0234-P0236 overboost condition, the unit was verified presenting broken cables from one tail of the map sensor. I incurred transportation and crane expenses, and the repair of the cables, and the replacement of the map sensor.
The power steering went out on two different occasions. The power steering assist light came on (red steering wheel light in the lower left corner of panel). The car was extremely difficult to drive. Once the car was shut off the system reset and the steering was normal. I brought the car to the dealership twice and they told me they could not duplicate the problem and could not repair the car unless they could duplicate the problem. Hyundai USA basically told me the same thing; even though there must be a known issue because they have extended the warranty on the power steering assist system. The dealership and Hyundai's only solution was to have the car inspected at another dealership. This is a ridiculous solution since the problem seems to be an intermittent issue. Having the car inspected by another dealership will not solve anything. I believe this issue makes my car UNSAFE to drive! Hyundai will not reply to my questions such as: why an error code was not recorded when the power steering light is triggered? Hyundai should pay for the repair of these issues as they are reported by the owner and not only when it is occurring at the dealership.
I brought this car brand new at ABC HUNDUIA IN Las Vegas NV I now like in NY And my engine making a loud winning noise as I steer and the seat drivers side does not retract back into place .I just spent over 3 grand to fix other issues A/C cost over 3 grand but they never fixed what I requested. Please help me Thank you [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
I am unsure what exactly happened but it is giving an error code for the engine sensor. I was driving the expressway (55-65MPH) and my car went directly into safe mode. Which I didn’t kno what it was til later. I went from going expressway speed to almost getting t-boned getting off of the exit ramp as I was unable to accelerate over 2RPMs. So my acceleration would jolt my car when going over 2RPMs. I made it to a gas station where I had my mechanic friend meet me. He said I had no oil. We put 4 quarts in and it barely did the job! I had gotten my car serviced and oil changed not too far from when my car began to “shut down”. So oil is in the compartment, the engine light turns off. Well then I’m driving the expressway AGAIN thinking the problem is solved but also curious WHY and HOW I had no oil. All of a sudden the car goes back into the mode. Engine light comes on an I am once again going de-accelerating in traffic on an expressway. I get off an exit and make it home in back roads. I had to pay for rentals and I was unable to get it to the Hyundai manufacturer. I got it to another certified mechanic which stated there is an oil leak somewhere but is unable to be found. As the 4qts added days prior, was almost gone again. The engine sounds awful, there’s rattling noises, noises sounding like a fan is broken but still spinning. There was absolutely NO warning signs prior. Nothing was on, nothing was off, absolutely NOTHING to forewarn me of this awful situation until it decided it was going to safe mode on the expressway out of nowhere. I owe thousands of dollars in rentals, I can’t afford to even pay that off! For Hyundai to diagnose my car, they wanna charge 80$! When I already have the error code from the previous mechanic. I don’t have the money to be doing this funny business. The car actually turned off when I was driving it and was in like an idle mode or something. I have no clue. Nobody has any idea where the oil goes. It isn’t showing smoke anywhere
My steering wheel locked up and I had to turn the car off and back on again in order to steer.
2015 Hybrid Sonata, milages at 82,000 km, owned for 8 years. "Hybrid system warning, do not drive" message occurred, car lost 100% of its power, went into complete stop without any warnings on the middle of the highway. Hazard lights do not work and unable to warn incoming traffic that the car has completely stalled in the highway. The car is unsafe to drive. Went to Hyundai (here in Canada) several times, being charged every time for diagnostic and repair works, been told that the issues were fixed via software update. Problem persists. There are compelling evidences from different car forums, websites and NHTSA own database (28 reports under Unknown, 22 reports under Electrical sys. categories...) on the hybrid system failure or/and 100% power lost lead to complete stalled car. Although all these reports did not site any injury, major or death events, NHTSA should compel Hyundai to take appropriate actions to render the car safe to drive for the public because if accidents should happened, it cannot be undone and will affect lives of people. The public relies on a governing body to represent us and hold the manufacturer responsable to ensure that their mkt released products are safe: to save lives, prevent injuries, reduce vehicle-related crashes.
