After driving for 15 or more minutes, the power steering fails. The warning light for the power steering and stability control turn on at that moment, as well. This failure occurs while driving and the wheel jerks a bit if the car is in a turn. There was a power steering recall for other Hyundais of the same era, which is very coincidental.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle stalled and failed to restart. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 174,000.
My car goes through 5 qts of oil every 1500 miles. I have been in contact with numerous dealerships in the area, and nobody will look at it until the engine fails. Was told thats the only engine recall they will honor. So I am basically being forced to drive an unsafe car. I have a case with Hyundai, and all they have told me is to continue working with service managers at dealerships, even though this is impossible. My car only has 97k on it, I have kept up on its oil changes (not that it matters) and now am forced to spend extra money just to keep it hopefully running. My case# with Hyundai is 20870570. I owe around $15k on this damn car, and the trade in value has come WAY down to around $6000. In no way can I afford to take on $9k of negative equity. How can the EPA force VW to buy back cars, when all they did was produce "bad" emissions, but Hyundai cant be forced to buy back vehicles that catch fire, get stolen on the regular, and break down in the middle of traffic endangering the lives of its occupants and others. This makes absolutely 0 sense.
I purchased my 2015 Hyundai Sonata new in Hawaii while stationed there with the military. A few years later the paint on the hood and roof started to peel as seen in the picture with the hand. I took the car back to the dealership I purchased it from and inquired about the peeling paint (the car was barely driven as Hawaii is small and i was deployed most of the year). The attendant said it was not covered and there was nothing Hyundai could do about it. I then paid out of pocket over $500 to get these areas painted. Recently now January 2023, the paint started peeling in numerous locations (except where i had gotten the car professionally painted to fix the previous peeling). It has been flying off while driving in patches which made me nervous. I am currently stationed in NJ, so i went to the local Hyundai prior to deployment in November and the attendant said it was a known issue with my color paint (it was defective) then he took pictures to file the claim. Hyundai came back and said they would cover 75% of the cost leaving me to pay about $400 out of pocket. i was not ok with this as i had already paid out of pocket for their mistake, and the car was continuing to peel even just in the week that passed so i am sure down the road it will peel. i called customer care (as that was what the dealership directed me to do since i was not happy with 75%) i spoke to a manager who said it is up to the dealership what they want to cover. i told the manager the dealership said it was up to Hyundai and to contact customer care, the manager then hung up on me. at that point, i called the dealership back and explained what happen. they said that was not true and the could offer 75%.
2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO STEERING DEFECT.
since around 6/2022 been having oil issues but really didn't start getting bad till 12/2022 while driving car has rattling noise with acceleration and almost stalls due to oil light kept popping on and off come to find out I was almost out of oil. which lately i have been having to constantly check my oil due too high oil usage and keep a jug in my trunk every where I go so I don't stall on side of the road and not to mention that oil light really doesn't give warning of oil being low either. So my co worker had me check to see how fast it burns oil. we put oil in the car on a friday and by the next friday its low again and now it may 2023 and burning oil at a higher rate of me checking twice a week now. i check my car on a sunday an put oil in and it was out by thursday. this is really a hazard and very dangerous while driving because you don't know when the oil is low or out and light does't give warning and you can completely stall in traffic if you don't keep check and cause a accident and i have children and myself and family and others to watch out for. I hope this matter is taken care of quickly before someone gets hurt a recall to fix this matter is urgent
Our 2015 Hyundai Sonata has made a clunking sound when accelerating or slowing down. We took our car to Brandon Hyundai and explained the problem. They had our car for 1 day and said a motor mount and a transmission mount were faulty. They said they did the repairs and that it was covered by warranty. Within a few days the car was making the same sound and we returned it to Hyundai. The next day the car repair was "completed". Again they said it was a motor mount and it was repaired at no expense since it was covered by warranty. The noise returned and we will schedule another appointment to hopefully fix the problem. Our Sonata has 97000 miles on it and we think Brandon Hyundai may be stalling until the warranty runs out. Our family has bought 5 new Hyundai's in the last 10 years and have been very pleased with the cars. I don't blame the vehicle, just the dealer's service department. RVE
This is the third time this has happened. The car just starts to beep and stops working wherever it is. Its died on the highway and another busy road during rush hour causing a dangerous backup in which the police needed to be called. The car just beeps and flashes on the dash "Hybrid System Warning! Safety Stop and Do not Drive". Also, "check charging system". The car just stops and basically dies on the road when this light comes. When this happens the steering wheel does not really work and the gas/breaks have limited function. This could cause a major accident on a major highway or even off of a highway. I am quite surprised that there has not been a recall for this serious safety concern.
Alternator tensioner bracket broke, causing the alternator to hang loosely, which caused the car to gradually lose electrical power to all accessories and safety equipment due to the serpentine belt being loose from the broken bracket. During traveling immediately before failure, the battery warning light illuminated on the dash panel, going on and off intermittently. Thereafter, I began losing control of all my electrical safety features, including power steering, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, forward collision warning system, and eventually power to my entire vehicle as the battery was drained of all charge. At the time of events, my family of 4, including a 2 year old and a 10 week old, were all occupants of the vehicle. With the power of the vehicle declining, the power steering was activating/deactivating intermittently causing the car to jerk one way or the other unexpectedly. Had we remained traveling on the highway at highway speeds, our safety would have been greatly compromised from the unexpected power failure to all electrical safety features. The vehicle and fractured tensioner bracket have not been inspected or confirmed by dealer or independent service provider as the vehicle is not drivable. The broken tensioner bracket is apparent and indisputable.
The car has been having problems with oil consumption. The problem became known in 2022, but the dealer/service department (Frank Hyundai, National City, CA 91950) did not care for the issue or safety. The dealer told me, "Your car is OK." On 7/3/2023, the engine light came on. A second round of oil consumption tests began along with a 90,000-mile service, including replacements of filter assy and gasket, four new tires and front and rear brakes, spark plugs, suspension/steering repair, shaft assy, engine repair, cooling system service, and fuel induction service. Shortly after, the car slows down even when my foot is on the accelerator. It feels like the vehicle will stall/stop (while driving in the middle of the road). I can see the rpm gauge erratically going up and down. The car lurches or jerks. I reported the jerky problem to the dealer at the second 1000-mi oil consumption test, but the dealer did not make any diagnostic tests or repairs because, per the dealer, "it did not jerk while we test-drove it." The problem continues.

As Im driving the ((electric power steering)) goes out. Its happened 4 or 5 times and when you turn your car off for a period of time the errors go off and dont come back till it does it again. It gets to you cant hardly turn the steering wheel. I'm a big guy and struggle to steer the car when this happens. If this happens when youre driving you could kill yourself or someone else by not being able to turn the steering wheel to avoid another vehicle or person. I was at a dealership and because the icons werent on they couldnt trouble shoot the issue. There was an icon with EPS! in red and an icon with skid marks
Driving on a busy street the car suddenly started to show a Hibrid system warning safety stop and do not drive and then the car slowed down on traffic scary situation since it was a busy road then another car pulled up and two guys help get it out of the road since the car would not start again. Our safety was at risk on the middle of the road and could possibly caused an accident. The problem still persist I towed it to the dealer and paid for a diagnostic wich the dealer took a month to return the car back to me and they did two recalls but never performed a diagnostic on the car and instead they just called the tech line and gave me a $6000.00 estimate for a hi voltage battery replacement.
2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO EXCESSIVELY BURNING OIL. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE IS BURNING 1QUART OF OIL MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY THAN EACH 1,000 MILES AND HAS TO CONSISTENTLY CHECK THE OIL LEVEL OF THE VEHICLE.
The bug guard/wind deflector has become detached (AGAIN) on my panoramic sunroof while driving on the freeway. It puts myself & passengers as well as other people driving on the freeway in danger as there is a known issue that the detached bug guard/wind deflector is what causes detaching window panels or shattered sunroof panels. I took my vehicle to the Dealership in Salt Lake City, UT for a repair on the bug guard and was told since it had been repaired before through the original recall, they would not repair it again. (the fix is loctite super glue). I asked about my warranty on the panoramic sunroof and they told me that it only covers the glass and I would need to pay $160.00 for the diagnosis of the detached bug guard. - which can be seen by opening the sunroof. I spoke with the service manager of the dealership as the simple fix of super glue is much less expensive than fixing my glass and he told me it since the repair had already been made on the original recall that they would do nothing if the glass wasn't broken. There was no warning lamp or other symptoms, it just suddenly became detached while driving on the freeway.
The power steering started malfunctioning and then caused all warning lights on the dash to illuminate including check engine, power steering, abs, and after coming to a stop and waiting several minutes the lights went off but power steering was still not operating correctly
I had 26,661 miles on my vehicle and took it to V-Tech Auto (Lake Forest, Ca) for brake service on 12/11/21 when I was told by the Manager Adele that my front axle was leaking grease and needed to be replaced. My wife’s vehicle (same 2015 Hyundai Sonata SE with 54k miles) was found to have the exact same issue by another repair shop Pep Boys in Lake Forest, CA on 10/23/22 (reported today, please see her complaint Vin# 5NPE24AF7FH18963). Adele from V-Tech stated that my front axle (CV Axle) needs to be replaced because it is leaking grease. I called to Hyundai Motor America this week because we have had in the past several other vehicles varying makes (Honda, Toyota, and Mazda) but never in hundreds of thousands of miles driven was such a repair ever needed. Now both of our vehicles with exceptionally low mileage need to have the front axles replaced. The Supervisor Justin (Hyundai Motor America, Fountain Valley, CA) on 11/2/22 gave me a case number 20531055 and stated that I will receive a call back from a case manager, today (11/4/22) I received the called back from a case manager Cierra. Her position is the same as the first phone call to their customer service a couple days earlier, is that we pay for the diagnostic (*$179) and repair (*$1140 each vehicle, diagnostic deducted if work is done there) at only a Hyundai Dealership and maybe after the fact they will make a “Good Will Reimbursement”, but they will not approve that beforehand and may not approve it at all thereafter. Though there is a 5-year warranty or 60K whichever comes first, these repairs are not covered because 5 years has elapsed though under the 60k mileage, nor is it covered under their extended 10-year warranty. The estimate for their work was provided over the phone by *Tuttle Click Hyundai of Irvine (Irvine, Ca), their repair however is for a remanufactured part (Pep Boys is for a new) about $400 more per vehicle. We shouldn't have to pay for manufacturer's defects.
I have approximately 54k on my vehicle and took it to Pep Boys (Lake Forest, Ca) last week for oil change. They state that my front axle (CV Axle) needs to be replaced because it is leaking grease. They state their replacement is a brand-new part. Less than a year ago my husband took his car to V-Tech Automotive who cited the same repair for his vehicle, the same year, make, and model (2015 Hyundai Sonata SE, Vin# 5NPE24AF6FH205523), at that time his vehicle had only 26,661 miles. My husband called to Hyundai Motor America this week because we have had in the past several other vehicles varying makes (Honda, Toyota, and Mazda) but never in hundreds of thousands of miles driven was such a repair ever needed. Now both of our vehicles with exceptionally low mileage both need to have the front axles replaced. The estimate for their work was provided over the phone by Tuttle Click Irvine (Irvine, Ca), their repair however is for a remanufactured part (Pep Boys is for a new) about $400 more per vehicle. We are not inclined to pay exorbitant pricing or at all for design defects.

2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L Hybrid with 35,333 miles has a broken front driver's side strut spring. Contacted Hyundai corporate and was told there is no recall on this year model. Dealer has been contacted regarding repair and they cannot inspect car till Dec. After research this looks the same as NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V629000 (SUSPENSION). There were no warning indicators and I had noticed a noise and the feeling of suspension issue coming from the front driver's side. Broken spring was found by jacking up the front driver's side wheel.

My car has 113,000 miles and the engine went out going down the highway with my young daughter in the car. This could have been a disaster if someone would have been behind us. After researching about my issues I found almost all their motors are going out or catching fire. Someone needs to hold them accountable. My car has been in the shop for weeks now with no approval from Hyundai. My daughter almost died last year in a car wreck. What if someone’s engine goes out with someone behind them. Someone could lose a life. This is serious.
Strong odor of gasoline noticed after driving vehicle and smell remained present for a few hours after ending the drive. Found out that many drivers for the Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima have had same complaints and the issue is a component of the fuel pump that is cracked. Traced it back to my vehicle, and that in fact is the problem. Since gas is combustible, this is a seriously dangerous defect.
My oil is burning with in a weak. And flludding out my spark plugss And then when I push the gas, my car just vibrates everything and it doesn't wanna go..Iknow other models were recalled for this issue . This issue has been fixed twice and it keeps happening.
My engine failed and was repaired under a campaign recall. Tim Short in Pikeville ky kept my vehicle 3 months to install new engine. Check engine light came on on the way home the day I picked it up. Made appointments to go back and have it checked and they said catalytic converter was clogging up but it would be my responsibility to fox it at my cost. Asked If it would be safe to drive oh yes you may lose a little Power over time but should be fine. Left the dealership and didn't make it home the car started vibrating and shit down got it started back and barely made it to a place to pull off. Car had no power, smoke boiling out of engine and exhaust. Dealership and hyundai refused to cover having it towed back. This last engine was the 3rd engine put in this vehicle due to recalls and this one didn't even make it 3 weeks . There is definitely an engine problem with hyuandi.. inhav been left without a vehicle for 3 months and have to have it towed back again at my cost. I wasn't even given a rental while it was being repaired. The car has 121,000 miles but has had 3 failed engines. Something needs to be done.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle began to shake violently. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle off to the side of the road and turned the vehicle off. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle was still shaking. The contact drove the vehicle to her residence at approximately 10 MPH. The contact had called an independent mechanic to her residence who diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the oil warning light was flashing on and off. Additionally, the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of oil. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the oil pressure switch failed, and oil had entered the ECU. The vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of oil and the spark plugs needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.
My 2015 Hyundai Sonata has issues when switching from eco-to standard to sports, it constantly shakes when approaching a red light or stop.. my vehicle is constantly stock and vandalize and stole. Need you to easy assessability by thieves. this constitute higher insurance for me and consistent problems
Intake actuator for camshift seal failed. Internal oil seal plug is leaking. There is a recall for this already but Hyundai is telling me recall is not attached to my VIN so they are refusing to fix it. my make model year is 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.4l. Engine light is on. It is unsafe to drive as engine revs extremely high, and when I take my foot off break engine lurches forward. This is a safety issue making car unsafe to drive. I have been fighting with Hyundai for 6 weeks now, and they still refuse due to national recall in place, is not attached to my VIN. Please attach recall to my vin as this is exact issue I am having.
In September 2022, we noticed a noise coming from under the car hood. Sounded like a thump as we accelerated. We took it to the Hyundai’s service department and was told that they couldn’t hear anything or find a problem. They changed my oil. We continued to hear a noise but thought it wasn’t a concern. In February, a fairly new tire went flat and we returned to the Hyundai service department. I received a call later and was told that they could hear a noise and they checked, and my oil was extremely low. They topped it off and told me to return in a thousand miles to see if it was still burning oil. If it was burning significant oil at that point, they would seal it and begin the Hyundai oil consumption test. At about 600 miles, I could smell a strong plastic burning odor and we checked the dip stick and the oil was barely detectable. We called Hyundai and was told there was nothing they could do and we have to go the full thousand miles to determine if we qualify for the test. We are concerned are engine is going to stall, burn up or catch fire in our garage. They told us, we couldn’t get are car in to be looked at until the end of March. After doing some research, I am aware that there is a current class action lawsuit against Hyundai for this issue.
While I was driving, my check engine light came on. It wasn’t flashing so I was going to continue driving to a parts house (because the dealerships around me were closed) and have them check the codes that were present. Immediately after I had that thought, I noticed the car was smoking and the battery light and the traction control light had come on, so I proceeded to pull over and shut the vehicle off. I got out and noticed the hood had soot on the edges. I called 911 and watched the car go up I’m flames. This all happened in less than a mile. I noticed a fluid of some sort had sprayed out of my vehicle onto the road and the underneath the vehicle was coated in the fluid. This is still being investigated but I know of a lot of Hyundai/Kia vehicles have caught on fire while driving. I’m not 100% sure of the cause yet, but I want to document that this did happen to my vehicle. I would love to update as soon as we figure out what has caused the car to catch fire while I was driving.
My power steering light came on last night when I arrived from work on Saturday night. Was hoping to take it in to be looked at but the dealership I bought it from is closed till Monday at 10. Woke up Sunday for work decided to see if the light was still on but it was off but about 7 minutes into the the light came back on along with the abs light, engine light, and oil light. I believe a couple more lights came on but not sure which ones but the car stopped working and starting completely
My vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power steering a few days ago, with approx 52,000 miles on the odometer. At the time it happened, two warning lights came on and remained on: a red steering wheel with an exclamation point, and an orange ESC control (icon: car with squiggles underneath) light. For a few days if I turned the car off and back on, the power steering would return and the warning lights would turn off. However today the car started with the lights on and no power steering and it appears to be permanently failed at this time. There is a recall issued for 2015 Sonatas for a power steering issue that sounds identical but my VIN does not appear to be included. My local dealership has no appointments available until November 8th and I have been informed that new power steering components will cost over $2500.
Paint peeled off hood, initially causing a distraction while driving, while it fluttered, then when departing the hood it stuck to the windshield causing a visibility issue before using the wipers to remove it. Dealer said it's a known issue with this paint color, but said the warranty period was over.
I reported a fuel leak while the vehicle is in motion to the dealer on 9/12. They had the vehicle 3 days and could not find the leak although the service manger agreed he smelled fuel when the vehicle was brought in. They released the car without repair.
This Car Was A One Car Accident, 2 People Were In The Vehicle. A On Coming Car In The Opposite Lane Was Swerving In My Lane Causing Me To Try To Get Over To The Right Of The Road Trying To Dodge The Car , We Hit Some Kind Of Post No Air Bags Deployed, I Also Have Pictures As Well As Documentation From Hyundai Fixing The Engine On The Car They Supposedly Inspected Everything And Said The Only The Wrong Was The Breaks. Well No Airbags Deployed One Person Is Hospitalized Lung Was Out Of Chest And the Other Person Suffered Injuries To The Face And Arm Which Is Also Documented We Are Currently Still In The Hospital So Any Other Documentation Can Be Sent Later On
This is yet another incident of a Sonata Hybrid hybrid flashing a warning to the driver and the the engine shutting down. This time it was Sep 7, 2022 in Morristown, TN. A brief internet search led to this: https://www.tsbsearch.com/Hyundai/17-HC-003-1 indicating that the issue is known to Hyundai. This is definitely a safety issue, this is a known problem, why was no recall issued?
My battery, oil and check engine light came on. The car would not start, took it to the dealer they had my car 3 weeks and they said they couldn’t pull any codes because it started up. However, they did charge the battery. I drove the car a few day and the same thing Happened where the same codes came on and car wouldn’t start. I had to find a ride to work and when I got home and started the car it started right up. I have also read plenty of reviews claiming this same things has happened to them.
My wife is concerned for her safety and our three children. On start up and driving engine feels like it's shutting off and turning back on. I was told by a local mechanic that there are several issues that Hyundai knows about and basically aren't fixing. Engine light keeps coming on and off with a different code everytime. Issue has been going on for about a year replaced spark plugs and had decarbonization process done to no avail.
The truck button has disintegrated twice now and needs a manufacturers recall.
There was a recall on my car maybe a year ago for an issue with the turn signals. The driver might turn on the right turn signal but the car would show the left turn signal to other drivers. I had the recall work (software update) done at my local Hyundai dealership several months ago. Since then, I have a new issue with the turn signals/headlights. When the headlights are in "auto" mode at night, turning on the turn signal causes the headlights to turn off. The headlights don't turn back on until you straighten out the wheel. This is a major safety concern because for a few seconds, I can't see anything and other drivers can't see me. I have researched this on Google and found several other Hyundai Sonata owners (different years) with the same issue. See links below: https://www.hyundai-forums.com/threads/flickering-intermittent-headlights-and-interior-lights.282777/ https://www.hyundai-forums.com/threads/headlights-flash-off-and-on.644549/ I have made numerous attempts to contract Hyundai customer care regarding this issue but they do not return calls or provide any assistance. I believe this issue should be a recall as it is a major safety concern, but no one at Hyundai seems to care. Hyundai has told me multiple times that if I pay out of pocket for this now ($636) and it becomes a recall later, there is no guarantee that I will be reimbursed, which I'm not even sure is correct.
The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while the vehicle was in for routine maintenance, the independent mechanic discovered that the engine oil was extremely low. The contact stated that the vehicle had been regularly serviced and had received the schedule oil changes as needed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who recommended that an oil consumption test be performed on the engine. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 68,000.
Low beam headlamps cast a shadow that seriously impedes vision of the roadway. Hyundai dealer informed me that other Sonata owners have complained of the same issue, but they have been instructed by the factory to claim that the defect is "normal". By the way, I have seen many similar complaints on internet sites lodged by Sonata owners across the country. * Please be advised: the attached photo is not oriented correctly. It is a vertical view. I could not get the program to orient it to the horizontal vies.
When driving at night the headlights have gone off several times when the turn single is used. The headlights will come back on when the turn single returns to the neutral position.
I would like to start by saying I love my Hyundai. I love the way it drives. It is a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited, my only means of transportation. My main concern is my vehicle was made without an engine immobilizer which makes it very easy for thieves to steal my car, by removing part of the steering column and using a USB charging cable. And to add to this problem, if a thief was to break a window to gain entry in the vehicle, the window is not part of the car’s alarm system. I am aware of a lot of Hyundai vehicles being stolen due to this problem. On or about 08/16/2022, I contacted Hyundai Customer Care Main Office and the gentleman I addressed this problem to said Hyundai was supposed to be making a kit available for purchase in October 2022, with a price range of $100+ through $200+. I am upset because 1) I don’t feel like I should have to purchase this kit out of my pocket because it is not my fault Hyundai made my car this way and I wasn’t aware of this at the time of purchase and 2) I work a $10 an hour job and cannot afford this kind of purchase. I feel like Hyundai should foot the bill for this kit. I work in an area where car break-ins happen fairly often. Car break-ins happen a lot in the Fayettville NC area. I am very concerned and pray and trust Hyundai will address my concerns and will work toward a resolution for me and other Hyundai owners. Please let me know what Hyundai can do about this. Thank you in advance for taking care of this matter! Sincerely, Virginia Phelps
on aug 18 i was driving on the interstate at 80 mph , suddenly i could no use my gas pedal it lost power , the engine and oil flashed lucky i was able to get my car pulled over out of harms way and called a tow truck , i had it towed to my nearest Hyundai dealership ,on september 22 my car was denied for engine replacement due to me being the second owner , i've only had this car a year , i would like to warn any one with a Hyundai to take caution because their is no warning signs until it happening .
In Nov 2021, the door handle on the rear driver side door came off. Today, the front driver door handle broke. This is a huge safety matter because I cannot get into my car without opening the front passenger door and crawling into the driver seat. In the case of an emergency, this could be detrimental. There are also other reports of door handles falling off on the Internet (https://www.abcactionnews.com/money/consumer/taking-action-for-you/door-handle-defect-forces-woman-to-crawl-through-the-back-of-her-car-to-get-to-the-drivers-seat?_amp=true). I have called Hyundai and they refuse to do anything about this issue and it costs 300+ per handle to replace. There is no reason door handles should be falling off…especially ones that you don’t use as often, such as the one for my rear driver side door.
