It can only be opened from the inside, which is a safety issue if someone is being followed and needs to quickly enter the vehicle. It is the same issue as NHTSA ID Number: 11286381 that was reported 2.5 years ago, but this is now happening to me and there are several reports of this on Hyundai forums.
