I PURCHASED A JAGUAR S-TYPE FROM CHASE AUTO GROUP,INC.. I PAID 13,000 IN CASH AND THE 3,000 BY CHECK.. THE DEALER SOLD ME A LEMON CAR BECAUSE HE HYPED THE CAR AND TOLD ME THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR AND LOW AND BEHOLD THEIR WHERE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. THE CAR DASH BOARD LIGHTS DID NOT WORK AND THE RADIO'S LIGHT STAYED ON ALL THE TIME, AND IT DRAINED THE BATTERY THE CD PLAYER DID NOT WORK BECAUSE THEIR WAS NOT A CD PLAYER IN THE CAR AND WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR TO BE FIXED HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD ADD THE CD PLAYER AND FIX THE CAR AND ALL OF THE NECESSARY THINGS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO THE CAR. I WENT BACK TO CHECK ON MY CAR, BECAUSE HE HAD NOT CALLED ME AND HE HAD SOLD MY CAR TO SOMEBODY ELSE. I TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED MY MONEY BACK AND HE REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME FOR MY MONEY AND TOLD ME THAT HE COULD GIVE ME TWO CARS TO MAKE UP FOR MY LOST. I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY BACK THAT THIS COMPANY OWES ME. *TR
DT: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING THE WINDOWS STARTED GOING UP AND DOWN. ALSO THE HEADLIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. THE VEHICLE SURGED UNCONTROLLABLY. HE PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF, AND THEN RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. HE DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME. THE NEXT MORNING, THE VEHICLE'S WINDOWS WERE DOWN. RECEIVED A MESSAGE "FUEL COMPUTER DATA ERROR" THIS MESSAGE STOPS THE SPEEDOMETER FROM WORKING, STOPS THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES FROM FUNCTIONING, STOP THE CRUISE CONTROL FROM WORKING AND STOPS THE TRIP COMPUTER FROM FUNCTIONING. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL GARAGES LOOK AT THE PROBLEM INCLUDING JAGUAR, AND NO ONE CAN FIND THE PROBLEM AFTER MANY HOURS OF LABOR. *NM
RECEIVED A MESSAGE "FUEL COMPUTER DATA ERROR" WHEN ATTEMPTING TO USE THE TRIP COMPUTER. DEALER ATTEMPTED REPAIR BE SWAPPING OUT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, GENERAL ELECTRONICS MODULE, REAR ELECTRONICS MODULE, PCM AND FUEL SENDERS. PROBLEM WAS NOT REPAIRED. NOW, WHEN ATTEMPTING READINGS AT THE ODBII CONNECTOR, THEY CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE SYSTEM, AND CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM AFTER MANY HOURS OF LABOR. THE CAR IS DUE FOR ITS STATE INSPECTION IN A FEW WEEKS , AND WILL FAIL DUE TO THE INSPECTION FACILITIES INABILITY TO ACCESS THE ODBII CODES/HISTORY. THE DEALER HAS GIVEN UP TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, AND I AM FACING A FAILED EMISSION TEST ON MY UPCOMING INSPECTION.....I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT, AS JAGUAR CLEARLY WON'T, OR CAN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.*AK

WHILE DRIVING OUR S TYPE JAGUAR THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WHEN DOWN. IT APPEARS THAT THEIR IS A DEFECT IN THE "ELECTRICAL CLUSTER" THAT CAUSING THE SYSTEM TO THINK THE CAR HAS BEEN STOLEN. MY WIFE WAS FORTUNATE THAT SHE WAS COMING TO A STOP WHEN IT OCCURED. THE CAR HAS NOW BEEN IN THE REPAIR SHOP FOR 4 WEEKS WHILE THE DEALER TRYS TO GET A REPLACEMENT PART THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. TWO ADDITIONAL UNITS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED WITH THE SAME RESULTS
INCIDENT 1: THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS HAS FAILED AT LEAST 10 TIMES DURING A TWO YEAR PERIOD. I HAVE REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO THE MANUFACTURER AT LEAST 5 TIMES. SEVERAL OF JAGUAR FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS HAS TRIED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM BUT WITH NO SUCCESS. AFTER EACH ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM, I WOULD CHECK THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OK BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY FAIL AT THE MOST HAZARDOUS TIMES DURING STORMY, RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS. INCIDENT 2: I WAS REAR-END IN THE CENTER LANE OF TWO MERGING MAJOR EXPRESSWAYS AND THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM COMPLETELY FAILED. IT TOOK THE DEALER 3 MONTHS TO GET THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED. INCIDENT 3: THE VEHICLE WILL ROLL WHILE IN DRIVE IF I AM ON AN INCLINE.*AK
WHILE SITTING IN THE TURNING LANE, CONSUMER PROCEEDED TO MAKE THE TURN AND VEHICLE DIED. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY SAID THERE WAS A COMPUTER PROBLEM. THIS WAS THE SECOND 2000 JAGUAR THAT CONSUMER HAD . THE FIRST ONE CONSUMER TRADED FOR THE PRESENT ONE BECAUSE OF THE SAME PROBLEM. CURRENTLY, PROBLEM HAS RESURFACED. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT THE COILS. THERE WERE NO SPARK PLUGS, AND WHEN THE COILS FAILED VEHICLE SHOOK AND LOST POWER. CURRENTLY THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT RUNNING ON ALL 8 CYLINDERS. *AK
WATER GETS INTO THE TRUNK, WHICH HOUSES THE COMPUTER SYSTEM, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL OUT AND DIE. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
