WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIRE TREAD WAS SPREADING AND THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,761 AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
CONSUMER'S WIFE WAS TRAVELING AT ABOUT 55 MPH AND VEHICLE HIT A POT HOLE. THE IMPACT BROKE THE ENTIRE TIRE RIM. CONSUMER TOOK THE RIM TO THE DEALER, AND WAS TOLD THAT JAGUAR NO LONGER MADE THIS TYPE OF TIRE RIM, AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO EXCHANGE ALL THE RIMS, BUT WOULD ONLY BE CHARGED FOR ONE. *AK
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AND WITHOUT WARNING, THE PASSENGER'S SIDE WHEEL FELL OFF, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SKID INTO THE WOODS. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE AND BRING IT TO A COMPLETE STOP INTO THE DRIVEWAY OF A BARN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, OR FATALITIES. *AK *SC *JB
