Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)CAR STALLED WHILE DRIVING IN A STRAIGHT LINE, VEHICLE WAS STILL IN MOTION WHEN ENGINE STOPPED WITHOUT ANY WARNING LIGHTS (SUDDEN AND TOTAL LOSS OF POWER). STEERING CONTROL WAS LIMITED WHEN ENGINE SHUTOFF AND BRAKE PEDAL ALSO REQUIRED MUCH MORE PRESSURE THAN NORMAL TO BRING CAR TO STOP. ISSUE HAPPENED WHILE TAKING OFF FROM SCHOOL PARKING LOT, SO NO ACCIDENTS WERE CAUSED, BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A VERY LIKELY CAUSE FOR AN ACCIDENT ON A BUSY FREEWAY. CAR DID NOT START BACK UP AND HAD TO BE TOWED BACK TO REPAIR SHOP.
