I PULLED OUT OF A GAS STATION AFTER FILLING UP MY TANK AND WAS TRYING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN AND MY TRUCK COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN, NO WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON AND I WAS UNABLE TO STEER. THE TRUCK ROLLED ACROSS 2 LANES OF TRAFFIC, RESTING ON THE CONCRETE DIVIDER OF THE STREET. I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE TRUCK INTO PARK AND RESTART IT. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO 2 DEALERSHIPS AND THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. I HAVE ALSO CONTACTED JEEP AND WORKED WITH A CASE MANAGER WITH THE COMPANY AND THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO HELP ME. *TR
APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING MY JEEP COMMANDER, IT STALLED WITH NO WARNING. ALL THE TRUCKS LIGHTS LIT UP AND THE POWER STEERING WOULD NOT WORK. I WAS ABLE TO START IT BACK UP AND DRIVE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO HELP ME AS THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THE ISSUE. SINCE THEN IT HAS HAPPENED AN ADDITIONAL 2-3 TIMES WITH THE DEALERSHIP STILL UNABLE TO HELP ME. ALL TIMES THE TRUCK HAS STALLED OUT AND I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESTART AND DRIVE AWAY. THE LAST TIME BEING IN SEPTEMBER OF 2012 WHILE DRIVING ON A FREEWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH. *TR
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
