HAD JUST PUT VEHICLE (LEASED) INTO PARK POSITION WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING. LEFT VEHICLE FOR A SHORT WHILE. WAS INFORMED, BY A WITNESS, THAT VEHICLE HAD BUCKED AND THEN STARTED ACCELERATING, FAST, BACKWARDS. VEHICLE THEN HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT WAS PARKED. CONTACTED MANUFACTURER AND INFORMED WILL BE SENDING AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTOR TO CHECK ON VEHICLE. MR
TRANSMISSION CHANGED FROM PARK TO REVERSE WHILE PASSENGER WAS OUT OF VEHICLE. MR
BLEND DOOR WENT OUT ON PASSENGER SIDE APPROX 5 MONTHS AGO THEN TODAY THE DRIVERS SIDE WENT. UNABLE TO DEFROST WINDOW. NO HEAT/ NO AC. TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT KEPT GOING OFF. UNTIL THE CENTER TOP DISPLAY WENT OUT, ENGINE LIGHT WONT SHUT OFF. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH SUDDENLY THE DRIVER SEAT AND DOOR AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. CONSUMER SUSTAINED INJURIES. *AK
2003 GRAND CHEROKEE PASSENGER/DRIVER SIDE WINDOW MECHANISM WAS REPLACED DUE TO FREQUENT PROBLEMS. *TS *NM
WHILE DRIVING, THERE WAS A LOUD GRINDING AND OR WINDING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE GASKET AND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID HAD FLOWED ON OVER TO THE OVERDRIVE. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTED. TS SCC
THE DASH BOARD WAS VERY SHINY, AND AT NIGHT IT WAS WORSE, CONSUMER STATED HE COULD BARELY SEE THE ROAD. *JB THE PROBLEM OCCURRED WHEN RAINING AT NIGHT DUE TO THE SHINY DASHBOARD AND ONCOMING HEADLIGHTS. THE WINDSHIELD GETS A REFLECTION AND APPEARS FOGGY AND IT'S NOT. SHOULD BE NO REFLECTIVE. SCC
WHILE IN CRUISE CONTROL DRIVING UP HILL THE VEHICLE AUTOMATICALLY SHIFTED GEARS AND SLOWED DOWN. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER WHICH SAID THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THAT PROBLEM. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *PH
CONSUMER NOTICED THAT AFTER PLACING VEHICLE IN PARK WHILE ENGINE WAS RUNNING, AND CONSUMER STEPPED OUT OF VEHICLE, VEHICLE JUMPED INTO REVERSE, KNOCKING CONSUMER TO THE GROUND, AND CRASHING INTO THE HOME. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT BRAKE ROTORS PROBLEM. ROTORS WARPED AFTER 18,000 MILES. *AK
AT 5000 MILES, VEHICLE SHIMMIED WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED AT 50 MPH. AFTER REPAIRS WERE DONE THE PROBLEM RECURRED 11,000 MILES LATER. DEALERSHIP HAS REPLACED THE ROTORS ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. *AK
