The vehicle flipped down an embankment and into a creek and none of the air bags deployed, frontal or side curtains. Insurance adjuster has inspected vehicle. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to failure.
1. Fuel tank started leaking on the top. 2. Middle backseat belt was stuck. It would not pull out. No matter what we tried it just got tighter and tighter, had to cut it. 3. Can't use seat warmer on passenger side because it will burn the person sitting there because the seat tore.

WELL MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND WILL NOT GO OFF! I TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC AND THEY REASSURED ME THE AIRBAGS ARE THERE AND HAVEN'T BEEN DEPLOYED AT ALL. BUT MY CONCERN IS THAT THE LIGHT IS ON FOR A REASON EITHER THE SEATBELTS OR THE AIRBAGS ARE FAULTY. NO MATTER IF I'M PARKED OR IF I'M IN MOTION THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON AND I WANT TO BE SAFE AND SECURE THAT IF I'M IN AN ACCIDENT I WON'T BE KILLED BECAUSE MY AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY AS THEY SHOULD! I KNOW MY JEEP IS OLD BUT IT'S IN GOOD CONDITION I'M NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE I SEARCHED BY MY VIN AND IT HASN'T HAD A RECALL ABOUT THAT PROBLEM SO PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

AS A RESULT, THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE DESTROYED ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT WAS PARKED IN THE GARAGE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE CHEST AND ARMS. THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE DRIVER AND THE FRONT DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. *AS
EVER SINCE I BOUGHT MY 2005 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT HAS CONSTANTLY BEEN ON. I THOUGHT WHEN SOMEONE SITS THERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO GO OFF! I HAVE READ MULTIPLE STORIES OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. SOME HAVE EVEN BEEN PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENTS AND SEAT BELTS OR AIR BAGS DIDN'T WORK. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE THAT JEEP NEEDS TO FIX ASAP!

AIR BAG LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY FLASHING AND RENDERING CRUISE CONTROL USELESS. EVERYTHING WORK AS NECESSARY, THEN ONE DAY WHEN ATTEMPTING TO GET ON HIGHWAY, I PRESSED CRUISE CONTROL ONLY FOR IT TO FLASH IN THE DASH PANEL, THEN DISAPPEAR. ONCE OFF THE HIGHWAY TO MY DESTINATION, I TURNED THE GRAND CHEROKEE OFF. WHEN I GOT BACK IN THE VEHICLE, THE AIRBAG LIGHT STAYED ON FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES THEN SHUT OFF. DURING THE TIME OF THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON, I WAS ABLE TO PRESS THE CRUISE CONTROL AND HAVE IT STAY ON THE DASH PANEL, BUT I STILL HAD NO USE OF IT. ONCE THE AIR BAG LIGHT SHUT OFF, I THEN PRESSED CRUISE CONTROL AGAIN JUST FOR IT TO FLASH ON THEN BACK OFF. NOW THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT IS FLASHING OR STAYS ILLUMINATED WHEN THE VEHICLE IS BEING USED. MY JEEP JUST PASSED 125,000 MILES. THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN TO SUCHA LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE FOR THE AGE.. WHO WILL FIX THIS MESS?

THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,000.
AIRBAG LIGHT HAS COME ON AND THE JEEP DEALERSHIP WANTS TO CHARGE ME A FEE FOR THEM TO LOOK AT IT AND THEN FIX THE ISSUE. I HAVE READ ON MULTIPLE SITES THAT THIS IS A REOCCURRING ISSUE WITH MY SPECIFIC MODEL AND YEAR. JEEP WANTS TO CHARGE ITS CUSTOMERS A FEE TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN A SAFETY FUNCTION THE VEHICLE THAT WOULD SAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CASE OF AN ACCIDENT.

THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED. THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 73,000.
THE CENTER BACK SEAT SEATBELT WILL NOT COME LOOSE. IT IS TIGHTENED AND WILL NOT RETRACT. I HAVE TO PUT MY SIX YEAR OLD ON THE LEFT PASSENGER SIDE BECAUSE I CANNOT SEAT HER IN THE MIDDLE. IT'S CONCERNING IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, MY CHILD IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO MORE INJURIES SINCE I CANNOT PROPERLY SEAT HER IN THE MIDDLE SEAT IN THE BACK. ALSO, WHEN IT RAINS, THE CAR LEAKS INTO THE INSIDE. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR QUITE SOMETIME. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT. I SPOKE WITH MY COUSIN WHO ALSO OWNS A BRAND NEW JEEP AND EVEN HERS DOES THIS AS WELL.
THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT WILL NOT HOOK. NEEDED TO PUSH THE RELEASE BUTTON TO ENGAGE THE SEAT BELT. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN PARK. I HAVE THE MALFUNCTIONING SEAT BELT FOR YOUR EXAMINATION. JUST SEND ME AN ADDRESS. THE SEAT BELT AND PRETENSIONER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. A $351.23 REPAIR.
AIR BAG DASH LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON AFTER STARTUP. I TOOK THE JEEP IN TO TEXAN : JEEP AT 18555 59 N HUMBLE, TEXAS 77338 TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT ON 9/03/16.THEY SAID IT WAS NOT COMMUTICATING WITH THE PCM AND THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR THE AIRBAG PROBLEM. SO IT WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON. INSTEAD THEY PREFORMED 3 OTHER SAFTEY RECALLS THEY SAID THE JEEP NEEDED BUT AIR BAG PROBLEM THE WOULD NOT FIX.
THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON CHRYSLER SAYS THEY NEED TO BE FIXED AND DO NOT WORK ALSO THE BACKING OF THE DOOR HANDLES HAVE ALL CRACKED AND BROKE THE DOORS DO NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE DUE TO THE BACKING THAT HOLDS THE DOOR HANDLES TOGETHER HAVE ALL CRACKED AND BROKE.
MY JEEP WAS IN A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT AND THE FRONT END WAS TOTALLY BASHED IN AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS CAME OUT. THE JEEP IS A COMPLETE TOTAL AND THE AIR BAGS ARE STILL NOT DEPLOYED. HAVE YOU HAD ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS YEAR AND TYPE OF VEHICLE? IT WAS IN MOTION AND RAN INTO A HUGE AREA WITH SEVERAL LARGE SIGNS.
