TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO HESITATE, YET, IT DID NOT STALL. OCCASIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL AT LOWER SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER; HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART TO REPAIR IT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SECOND DEALER WHO STATED THAT AN ABS SOFTWARE UPDATE NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED AND WOULD REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT SINCE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED THE WARRANTY ON THE VEHICLE WAS VOID. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 700 MILES. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3,000.
2010 JEEP WRANGLER WHEN FILL GAS TANK ALWAYS OVER FLOWS ON FIRST CLICK FROM PUMP. *TR
1 NEW JEEP WENT DEAD WHILE DRIVING,ENGINE WON'T CRANK THIS WAS AT 181 MILES ON CAR 2 TOW TO DEALER 3 CONNECTOR C1 @PCM PINS 34 & 35 WERE REVERSED INSTALLED NEW TIPM ALSO. COULD NOT GET CAR OFF ROAD. *TR
2010 JEEP WRANGLER JUMPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR UNDER ACCELERATION. AVERAGE RATE OF OCCURRENCE IS 2 TIMES A DAY. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN DECEMBER OF 2009. PROBLEM REPORTED TO TATE JEEP IN FREDERICK, MD IN MARCH. DEALERSHIP REMOVED INNER AND OUTER SHIFTER BOOTS AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO ME WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITHOUT THE BOOTS INSTALLED TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM RECURS. DEALERSHIP NOTIFIED 1 WEEK LATER THAT THE PROBLEM REMAINED; THEY RESPONDED THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE APPOINTMENT. AFTER THREE WEEKS, I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO INQUIRE AS TO THEIR PLAN; THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO ORDER THE PARTS. FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE JEEP WITHOUT THE INNER AND OUTER SHIFTER BOOTS AND OF COURSE THE PROBLEM REMAINS. THERE HAS BEEN NO ATTEMPT FROM THE DEALER TO CONTACT ME. THE VEHICLE PREVENTS A SAFETY PROBLEM AS IT CAN AND WILL JUMP OUT OF FIRST GEAR WHEN PULLING INTO TRAFFIC AND WHEN TRYING TO ASCEND HILLS; ALL OF WHICH RISK A VEHICLE COLLISION. ADDITIONALLY WHEN THE SHIFTER JUMPS, IT DOES SO WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO CAUSE SIGNIFICANT PAIN AND RISK INJURY IF ONES HAND HAPPEN TO BE IN THE WAY. *TR
I HAVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND WHEN STARTING FROM A STOP IN FIRST GEAR THE TRANSMISSION WILL POP OUT OF FIRST GEAR AND INTO NEUTRAL LEAVING YOU TO COST UNTIL YOU CAN GET IT BACK INTO GEAR. THIS OCCURS RANDOMLY AND WITH NO WARNINGS. AFTER THE FIRST TIME THE FREQUENCY INCREASES UNTIL THE ISSUE IS FIXED. THE PROBLEM CAN BE CORRECTED BY REPLACING THE APPROPRIATE SYNCHRO. WHEN PULLING OUT INTO HEAVY TRAFFIC THIS COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A RATTLE FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. UPON EXAMINING THE STEERING COLUMN, THE CONTACT NOTICED A BOLT UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE BOLT WHICH MOUNTED THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT TO THE SEAT POPPED OUT WHEN BUCKLING THE SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 680.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO USE THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM, THE CONTACT NOTICED MAJOR HIGHWAYS AND OLD PUBLIC BUILDINGS DID NOT APPEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS COMMON. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 8,000.
LETTER RE THE PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED WITH A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER FEELS THAT VEHICLE FALLS UNDER THE NEW CAR LEMON LAW (ENTIRE PACKAGE NOT IMAGED, FORWARDED TO NVS-200) *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THERE HAVE BEEN REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE REMAINS DEFECTIVE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING SLUGGISH AND BURNING OIL, BUT NO LEAKS WERE FOUND. THE PROBLEM WENT ON FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE ENGINE WAS DEFECTIVE, BUT THE DEALER WOULD NOT APPROVE A NEW ENGINE, SO THEY KEPT REPLACING PARTS. THE VEHICLE WAS EVENTUALLY RETURNED TO THE CONSUMER, WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THE DEALER CHECKED THE ENGINE AGAIN, AND DISCOVERED IT WAS BURNING 1 QUART OF OIL PER HOUR AND IT WAS DETERMINED THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE HARD TOP WAS LEAKING AND RUINED THE CARPET. THE STARTER WAS DEFECTIVE. ALSO THE TRANSMISSION WAS EXHIBITING A BURNING SMELL, IT WOULD SLIP AND WOULDN'T GO INTO GEAR AND THE FLUID WAS NO LONGER THE CORRECT COLOR. ALSO, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE ROSE JUST UNDER THE OVERHEATING POINT. THE RADIATOR COOLING FAN WAS DEFECTIVE. ALSO, THERE WAS A GRINDING NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSFER CASE. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED IN A MANNER IN WHICH THE ROOF AND DOORS COULD BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE DURING WARM WEATHER. WHEN THE ROOF AND DOORS WERE REMOVED, THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS WERE REPOSITIONED TO MOUNT ONTO THE FRONT WINDSHIELD SUPPORT FRAME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE MIRRORS WERE MOUNTED IN THIS POSITION, THE VIEW IN THE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR WAS OBSTRUCTED BY APPROXIMATELY 85 PERCENT, REDUCING VISIBILITY WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO REPAIR AVAILABLE FOR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL AND THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER HOWEVER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
2010 JEEP WRANGLER WILL POP OUT OF FIRST GEAR. CONSUMER ALSO STATES THAT THE ENTIRE VEHICLE SHAKES. CONSUMER ALSO HAS SEVERAL OTHER CONCERNS WITH VEHICLE. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED THE SHIFT LEVER POPPED BACK WITH FORCE AND SPEED. ALSO, THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS WHEN STARTING FROM AN UPHILL, TRAFFIC LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE DEALER STATING A SERVICE BULLETIN HAD BEEN ISSUED AND TO BRING THE BRING THE VEHICLE IN. WHEN THE CONSUMER ARRIVED, HE WAS INFORMED A REPAIR KIT WOULD NEED TO BE ORDERED. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK DID NOT HAVE A SENSOR; THEREFORE, EVERY TIME FUEL WAS PUMPED AND THE TANK WAS FILLED, FUEL SPILLED OUT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO A MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 900.
2010 JEEP WRANGLER 2DR, MANUAL TRANSMISSION. TRANSMISSION JUMPS OUT OF 1ST GEAR. THE TRANSMISSION WILL JUMP OUT OF 1ST GEAR (JOG) INTO NEUTRAL WHEN BEGINNING TO ACCELERATE FROM A DEAD STOP. THIS EVENT OCCURS EVERY SO OFTEN WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER. THE VEHICLE HAS 630 MILES ON IT AND THIS JUMPING OUT OF GEAR HAS HAPPENED ON MORE THAN A DOZEN OCCASIONS ALREADY. IT HAS ALREADY PUT ME IN AN UNSETTLING SITUATION, OCCURRING WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CROSS ONCOMING TRAFFIC. IF IT WASN'T FOR QUICK REACTIONS AND A WIDE BERTH, AN ACCIDENT WOULD HAVE BEEN UNAVOIDABLE. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME WHERE A PERSON WHOSE VEHICLE IS SUFFERING FROM DEFECT IS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT. BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE BUT THE PROPOSED FIX (INNER BOOT REPLACEMENT AND/OR MODIFICATION) HAS FAILED AS THE VEHICLE STILL JUMPS OUT OF GEAR. CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT HAS ONLY ISSUED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HOW TO POTENTIALLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE WHICH DO NOT ALWAYS WORK (SEE PREVIOUS SENTENCE). *TR
NEVER KNEW THAT THIS WAS AN ISSUE UNTIL RECENTLY BUT FOR 5 YEARS, SINCE THE FIRST FILL UP OF GAS, THE AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF ON THE PUMP POPS FOLLOWED BY A SPURTING OF GASOLINE OUT OF MY TANK. IT GETS EVERYWHERE. ON ME, MY CLOTHES, MY SHOES, THE GROUND, NOT TO MENTION ALL OVER THE SIDE OF MY JEEP AND THE FENDER.
6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. POPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR EVERY TIME. FIRST GEAR UNUSABLE, RESULTING IN HAVING TO USE 2ND GEAR TO START. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THIS JEEP HAS NEVER BEEN OFF-ROAD.
LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING THAT MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE DRIVEN MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS FOR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES ARISE SUCH AS THESE. WE HAVE A 6 MONTH OLD, 2010, JEEP WRANGLER, 2-DOOR, MANUAL TRANSMISSION. IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE CLUTCH BEGAN POPPING OUT OF FIRST AND SECOND GEAR. LAST MONDAY, SEPT. 20TH, WE HAD A CHRYSLER DEALER LOOK AT THE ISSUE AND THE TECHNICIAN TOOK APART THE TRANSMISSION AND REPLACED A SNYCHRONIZER. ONCE WE TOOK THE VEHICLE HOME, WE IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TO HAVE FURTHER PROBLEMS. NOW, THE VEHICLE OFTEN STICKS IN GEAR AND WE OFTEN CAN'T GET IT INTO THE NEXT HIGHEST GEAR OR DOWNSHIFT. FOR EXAMPLE, I PULLED OUT OF A PARKING LOT (WITH MY 6 YEAR OLD SON AS A PASSENGER AS WELL), AND I GOTTHE VEHICLE SHIFTED (HAD TO JAM IT) INTO FIRST, BUT COULDN'T GET IT INTO 2ND. WE WERE STUCK IN ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND I WAS DESPERATELY TRYING TO GET IT INTO A GEAR TO GO. I ENDED UP GETTING IT INTO THIRD AND PUTTED SLOWLY IN MY LANE. ALSO, I WAS ON MY WAY TO A MEETING, WITH A CO-WORKER, AND I WAS ATTEMPTING TO PUT THE VEHICLE INTO 5TH AND IT WOULDN'T GO INTO 5TH GEAR, I HAD TO SLOW DOWN IN A HIGHER MILEAGE AREA TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO KEEP IT IN 4TH. THOSE ARE TWO OF SEVERAL EXAMPLES OF INCIDENCES THAT TOOK PLACE OVER A PERIOD OF 5 DAYS. WE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. AT THIS POINT, THERE HAS BEEN NO DECISION ON WHAT REPAIR WILL TAKE PLACE. THE TECHNICIAN IS ATTENDING A TRANSMISSION TRAINING TODAY AND STATED HE WOULD CONSULT OTHERS THERE. HOWEVER, A SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT THIS IS THE THIRD JEEP WRANGLER THAT THEY HAD TRANSMISSION ISSUES WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND THAT CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THESE PROBLEMS. I HAVE GROWN VERY FRUSTRATED AND CONCERNED WITH THIS VEHICLE. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT IS MY PRIMARY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION WITH MY CHILD AND BEING STUCK IN ONCOMING TRAFFIC IS NOT AN IDEAL SITUATION. HAVE FOUND WEBSITES DEVOTED TO THESE ISSUES/COMPLAINTS. *TR
WHEN FUELING UP MY 2005 JEEP WRANGLER THE PUMP STOPS, BUT SEEMS TO HAVE PRESSURE BUILT UP IN THE TANK BECAUSE FUEL SPILLS OUT ALL OVER. USUALLY AVERAGES ABOUT 4-8 INCH IN DIAMETER PUDDLE ON THE GROUND. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I FILL UP AND HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST 9 MONTHS. *TR
2010 JEEP WRANGLER JK WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSMISSION WILL POP OUT OF FIRST GEAR WHEN STARTING FROM A STOP. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ANYWHERE FROM 4-10 TIMES A DAY. THERE ARE 610 MILES ON THE TRUCK. *TR
WHILE DRIVING MY 2007 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 62 MILES PER HOUR, I DROVE OVER THE VERY SMALL BUMP THAT IS CREATED BETWEEN THE ROAD AND A SMALL BRIDGE. MY JEEP (WITH 37,000 MILES ON IT) STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS ALMOST UNCONTROLLABLE AND THE TIRES WERE LOSING CONTACT WITH THE ROAD. I HAD TO PULL OVER AND STOP ON THE HIGHWAY TO REGAIN CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE. THIS IS WHAT I NOW HAVE COME TO KNOW AS THE JEEP "DEATH WOBBLE" . I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO WORK WITH MY DEALER, BUT APPARENTLY EVERYONE WHO OWNS A JEEP KNOWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM - EXCEPT JEEP. THIS DEATH WOBBLE HAS HAPPENED ABOUT SIX TIMES IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS. *TR
MY VEHICLE POPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR INTERMITTENTLY. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER TWICE FOR REPAIR AND HAVE REPLICATED THE ISSUE WITH A SERVICE TECHNICIAN IN THE VEHICLE BUT HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY TOLD THAT "PARTS ARE ON ORDER". AFTER FURTHER INQUIRIES NO PARTS HAVE BEEN PRODUCED NOR REPAIR HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND CAN RESULT IN BEING REAR ENDED BY AND UNSUSPECTING DRIVER OR BEING STRANDED IN A LANE CROSSING TRAFFIC WITHOUT THE VEHICLE IN GEAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT WAS ACCELERATING FROM A STOP WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. UPON RESTART, THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS NORMAL. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY ONLY WHEN THE CONTACT WAS ACCELERATING FROM A COMPLETE STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. WHILE FILLING UP, THE GAS RECEPTACLE ALLOWS FUELS PUMPS TO KEEP FILLING PAST THE POINT OF USUAL CUT-OFF. RESULTING IN GAS SPRAYING ALL OVER MYSELF AND THE VEHICLE. *TR
BRAND NEW JEEP WRANGLER. FIRST FUEL UP (AND SUBSEQUENT) FILL UPS RESULT IN MASSIVE GUSH OF FUEL OUT THE FILLER NECK WHEN PUMP STOPS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE SWITCHING TO HIS WINTER TIRES, THERE WAS SOME SORT OF CHEMICAL REACTION THAT CAUSED THE VALVE STEM TO BREAK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE FOUR VALVES WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE VALVE STEM ON THE SPARE TIRE WAS NOT. THEREFORE, WHEN THE CONTACT WAS SWITCHING THE SPARE TIRE WITH A FLAT ONE, HE EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT WITH THE SPARE WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER IN REFERENCE TO THE FAILURE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 4,853.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STAND STILL AND TAKING THE VEHICLE FROM NEUTRAL TO FIRST GEAR, THE SHIFTER POPS OF OUT FIRST AND BACK INTO NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND THE CONTACT HAS TO HOLD THE SHIFTER IN FIRST GEAR TO PREVENT IT FROM POPPING BACK INTO NEUTRAL. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE SLOWS AND JERKS WITH TRAFFIC COMING FROM BEHIND. TWO SEPARATE DEALERS STATED THAT THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15000.
JEEPS KEEP JUMPING OUT OF FIRST GEAR.... *TR
GAS OVERFLOWS AND DOES NOT STOP... UNTIL I MANUALLY TURN IT OFF. *TR
I PURCHASED A 2010 JEEP RUBICON IN NOV 2009, RETURNED TO THE DEALER WITHIN 60 DAYS AND STATED TO THE DEALER THAT FIRST AND SECOND GEARS HAD CONTINUALLY "POPPED OUT" WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MOVE FROM A STAND STILL. I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE REPRODUCED AND THAT I "NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL IN MY SHIFTING". I HAVE HAD MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS IN ALL MY CARS SINCE I WAS 16. I KNOW HOW TO DRIVE THEM, I HAVE ALSO HAD TWO PREVIOUS JEEP WRANGLERS AND BOTH WERE MANUALS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO "POPPING" ISSUES. I HAVE TAKEN THIS ISSUE UP WITH THE DEALERSHIP FOR A SECOND TIME AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING AGAIN. TOMORROW IT IS GOING IN FOR THE THIRD TIME FOR THIS ISSUE. THIS "POPPING" OCCURS ON AVERAGE OF ABOUT 4/5 TIMES A WEEK. I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN INTERSECTIONS, ON RAMPS, UP HILLS, (VERY SCARY IF SOMEONE IS BEHIND YOU) AND NUMEROUS OTHER SITUATIONS WHERE SAFETY HAS BEEN JEOPARDIZED AND A SERIOUS ACCIDENT NARROWLY AVOIDED. GAS OVER FLOWS OUT FROM FILLER AND DOES NOT STOP. HAPPENS AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS WITH RATCHET ON AND SELF FILLING. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 20-25 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE VEHICLE DRIFTED OFF OF ROADWAY. CONSEQUENTLY HE CRASHED INTO A MAILBOX. UPON VEHICLE INSPECTION HE NOTICED THAT THE TOWING ARM DISENGAGED FROM THE STEERING MECHANISM; WHICH COULD HAVE POSSIBLY CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LOOSE CONTROL. THE FRONT PASSENGER BUMPER AND DOOR WAS DENTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE INSURANCE COMPANY WAS INVESTIGATING THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 123.
EVERY TIME I FILL MY JEEP UP, FUEL SPILLS OUT ALL OVER THE GROUND, THE SIDE OF THE CAR, AND ON MY PERSON WHICH I FIND VERY HAZARDOUS. THIS IS A RECURRING ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN ADDRESSED BY JEEP IN EARLIER MODELS, BUT THEY ARE NOT ADDRESSING IT WITH MY MODEL. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DANGEROUS. *TR
