Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)TL* THE CONTACT LEASED A 2015 MASERATI GHIBLI. HOURS AFTER THE DEALER (RUSNAK MASERATI OF PASADENA, 297 W COLORADO BLVD, PASADENA, CA 91105) PERFORMED AN OIL CHANGE ON THE VEHICLE, THE REAR WHEELS SEIZED, THE BRAKES SEIZED, AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE AT A RED LIGHT. THE CONTACT HAD TO COAST THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE MODULE NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE PART. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,100.
REAR BREAKS PADS AT MINIMAL UNDER 13,300 MILES ON THE CAR. MASERATI REFUSE TO REPLACE THEM UNDER WARRANTY. I UNDERSTAND ITS WEAR AND TEAR BUT NOT WHEN THE CAR HAS 13,300 MILES. NO CAR WILL PUT YOU TO REPLACE BREAK PADS AT LOW LOW MILES. I AM SURE THIS COULD BE MANUFACTURING MALFUNCTION FAULTY AND IT I'M SURE THERE IS OTHER MASERATI OWNERS HAS THE SAME PROBLEM.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
