I purchased a car from Best Buy Motors in Spanaway, WA on [XXX]. Three days later I took the car in for an oil change and my mechanic cited safety issues and identified the rear brakes were faulty and deemed them a safety hazard. I repaired the brakes because I did not want to continue driving them under those conditions. My mechanic stated that the dealership was wrong for selling the car with the brake pads so thin and worn. My bill for the brakes and oil change was $778.28. I called the dealership and asked them to pay for the "parts" $388.08. They talked to the mechanic and came back with parts for $119. They could have fixed the brakes for that amount before they sold it to me. My issue is that they had the car on the lot for over 6 weeks and allowed people to test drive the car with faulty rear brakes. That is hazardous to me and to people who are on the road. I still have the rotors and pads that were taken off the car. I showed the old parts to another mechanic and he agreed that it was indeed a safety hazard to be driving with them in that condition. IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT BY THE SPEEDOMETER FLASHES TWICE, STOPS, FLASHES TWICE, THEN STOPS. THIS CONTINUES FOR ABOUT 20-30 SECONDS AFTER THE CAR IS STARTED AND IS RUNNING/IDLING. ONCE THE 20-30 SECONDS HAVE PASSED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT THEN REMAINS PERMANENTLY LIT. IT REMAINS LIT WHILE DRIVING. THE CYCLE STARTS AGAIN ONCE THE CAR IS RESTARTED.

THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND REMAINED DESPITE HAVING THE TIRES CHECKED FOR PROPER TIRE PRESSURE AND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED TO RESET THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT. ADDITIONALLY, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS RESET BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH THE VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 20 MPH AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR AND OXYGEN SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,800.
THE MAZDA HAS MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH TURBO BOOSTER FUNCTIONING AND MALFUNCTIONING CAUSING AIR POLLUTION ISSUES WITH BILLOWING WHITE SMOKE FR TAILPIPE, MAZDA DOES NOT WARRANTY THIS BY ONGOING ISSUES WITH SOME REPAIRS HAVING TO BE DONE AS EARLY AS 60000 MILES,. MY CAR IS LESS THAN 100000 MILES WITH EXTENSIVE REPAIR REQUIRED TO RESOLVE ISSUE, REPAIRS AS EXPENSIVE AS 3000 DOLLARS. THE SMOKE IS SO THICK IS IMPAIRS THE VISION OF CARS THAT MAYBE BEHIND VEHICLES WITH THIS PROBLEM. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED AND RESOLVED, CAR OWNERS SHOULD BE MADE AWARE WHEN PURCHASING THESE MAZDA OF THIS HEAVILY UNRELIABLE IMPORTANT PART OF THE VEHICLE TO MAKE THE DECISION BEFOREHAND IF THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE EXPENSIVE REPAIRS SHOULD THEY OCCUR.
TAKATA RECALL. THE HEADLIGHTS ARE A DANGER. MY 2009 MAZDA CX-7 IS VERY DANGEROUS. THE INSIDE OF THE LAMPS ARE ALL COATED. I NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT. THEY ARE JUST A DEATH TRAP. I CANNOT USE THEM. I USE MY BRIGHTS SO I DON'T GET IN AN ACCIDENT.

THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO GET THE REMEDY COMPLETED DUE TO LACK OF COMMUNICATION BY THE DEALER (DENNIS DILLON MAZDA, 9501 W FAIRVIEW AVE, BOISE, ID). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. ON THE 8TH OF AUGUST 2017 A FLASHING SIGNAL APPEARED AND I CHECKED MY MANUAL AND IT WAS AN ALERT ABOUT AIRBAG ALERT. I CALLED HILEY MAZDA IN GRAND PRAIRIE TEXAS AND MADE APPOINTMENT. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $99.99 AND I LEFT BECAUSE THE EVENING NEW SAID THEIR WAS A RECALL FOR AIR BAGS MY YEAR AND MODEL.
"TAKATA RECALL' MY VALVE STEM IS BROKEN ON MY TIRE. THE TIRE DEALER HAS A 3 LLB COFFEE CAN FULL OF THESE . NOBODY WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAULTY PRODUCTS. I ONLY HAVE 6 THOUSAND MILES ON A NEW SET OF TIRES. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO . THE REPLACEMENT VALVES COST HALF OF THE PRICE OF A TIRE AND I LIVE ON A FIXED INCOME. PLEASE HELP
WE RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE IN AUGUST 2016 AND NO REMEDY HAS BEEN MADE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. BALL JOINTS AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS ARE REPLACED EVERYDAY - WHAT'S THE DAM HOLD UP? I CALLED THE HOTLINE TWICE TODAY AND WAS DISCONNECTED AFTER BEING ON HOLD. I GUESS I HAVE TO GET MY ATTORNEY INVOLVED WITH MAZDA AND NGTSA.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM DIRECTED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,421.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE LOWER CONTROL ARM FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
TURBO LEAK CAUSING LACK OF POWER. THIS PROBLEM SAID TO COST 2300 DOLLARS AND STILL MAKING PAYMENTS. THE MECHANIC SAID IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE. IT IS ALL OVER INTERNET THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR MOST OWNERS. WHY. I RECALL?

I TOOK MY 2009 MAZDA CX-7 (108,000 MILES) IN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND TO SEE WHY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD COME ON. I WAS INFORMED THE TURBO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE CAR WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND THAT I NEEDED TO GET A NEW CAR IMMEDIATELY. THE DEALERSHIP WAS HESITANT TO LET ME LEAVE IN THE CAR AS IT COULD STOP WORKING AT ANY TIME AND BECAUSE I DO A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF HIGHWAY DRIVING THIS IS PARTICULARLY ALARMING. NO REMEDY WAS OFFERED AND I WAS TOLD IT WASN'T WORTH REPAIRING. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE CX-7 AND A DANGER TO THE DRIVER AND OTHER DRIVERS AROUND WHEN THE CARS STOP WORKING DUE TO THE ISSUES WITH THE TURBO. A RECALL NEEDS TO BE ISSUED IF SO MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE WITH SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS.

THE SECOND STATES ON THE FORM MAILED TO OUR HOME "UNTIL THIS REPAIR IS PERFORMED, DO NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS TO RIDE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT." HOW IS THAT ACCEPTABLE WHEN THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR LOOKING INTO THESE ISSUES. MY DESIRED RESOLUTION IS TO TAKE THE VEHICLE ASAP TO GET THEM CORRECTED.
TAKATA RECALL: RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE WAS ANNOUNCED BY MAZDA IN MAY 2016 AND AS OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 MAZDA STILL HAS NOT PROVIDED A RESOLUTION, OTHER THAN NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS TO RIDE IN THE FRONT SEAT, I GUESS SO ONLY THE DRIVER WOULD BE KILLED DURING AN ACCIDENT. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW IN 2009 AND IT HAS BEEN LOCATED IN FLORIDA THE ENTIRE TIME WHICH IS THE HIGH RISK AREA. IT WOULD SEEM THAT MAZDA SHOULD HAVE A SOLUTION AVAILABLE BY NOW TO REPLACE THESE AIRBAGS OR PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR REPLACING THE VEHICLE BEFORE MORE PEOPLE ARE INJURED.
BOTH REAR TAIL LIGHTS LOOKED CLOUDY AND THE RED COLOR OF THE REAR LIGHTS APPEARED WHITE. I REMOVED THE LIGHT BULBS, THINKING THAT MAYBE THEY HAD BURNED OUT. I NOTICED THE LIGHT BULBS HAD MELTED THROUGH THE INTERNAL RED PLASTIC LENS OF THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LEFT A HOLE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER THAT ALLOWS THE WHITE LIGHT FROM THE BULB TO SHINE THROUGH. THE MELTED PLASTIC WAS ALL OVER THE BULBS AND THERE WAS A BURNT PLASTIC ODOR. THE 7743 BULBS WERE BOTH ORIGINAL TO THE CAR FROM MAZDA WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR NEW IN JULY 2009. I NOTIFIED MAZDA CORPORATE AND THEY HAD ME TAKE IT TO MY DEALER. THEY INSPECTED THE LIGHTS AND SAID MAZDA WAS WILLING TO OFFER A $500 GOODWILL TO REPLACE THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY. THAT WILL NOT COVER THE COST OF $1226.77 WITHOUT LABOR TO HAVE THE DEALER REPLACE THE TAIL LIGHTS. THEY GAVE ME A CASE REF# 1-174187018. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE AND THE CONSUMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO GET THE LIGHTS REPLACED. THIS IS A PROBLEM WHEN THE LIGHT BULBS BURN THROUGH THE PLASTIC TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE, VEHICLE LOST MUCH OF IT'S ACCELERATION, AND BEGAN MAKING A LOUD WHINING NOISE. PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AND INVESTIGATED THE NOISE. IT WAS A LOUD WHINING THAT ONLY OCCURRED IN NEUTRAL AND PARK OVER 2500 RPM AND WITH ANY ACCELERATION WHILE IN GEAR. ALSO NOTED YELLOW FOAMY OIL ON THE DIPSTICK WHICH WAS 4.5 QUARTS LOW BEING VERY CLOSE TO TIME TO GET A CHANGE. TOWED TO THE SHOP TO DISCOVER THAT THE VEHICLE IS BURNING OIL AND THE TURBO HAD GONE BAD. MECHANIC SUSPECTS THAT THE TURBO GOING BAD IS WHAT WAS MOST LIKELY BURNING OIL AND RETAINING WATER IN THE CRANKCASE. *TR

I PURCHASED A MAZDA CX-7 2009 VEHICLE USED IN AUGUST 2014. WITHIN 2 MONTHS OF PURCHASE NOTICED A FUEL ODOR COMING THROUGH THE AIR VENTS. PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY. TOLD BUY DEALER IS WOULD COST $900 TO FIX AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS LEAKING GAS. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A SAFETY ISSUE AND THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN. I FEEL I SHOULD NOT PAY FOR THIS DEFECT. *TR
STARTING HEARING A NOISE INITIALLY--NOT SURE WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM BUT THOUGHT IT WAS INTERNAL TO THE ENGINE. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY VERIFIED THAT THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART. I CAN NOT REMEMBER THE PART NAME BUT IT WAS CLEAR FROM THE DEALER REP THAT MY CAR WAS ONE OF MANY THEY HAVE REPLACED. I SPENT $1244.00 IN REPAIRS ON MY VEHICLE THAT THE MAZDA DEALERSHIP ACKNOWLEDGED WAS A FACTORY DEFECT ON MY CAR AND MANY OTHERS. JUST NOT RIGHT *JS
THIS MAZDA CX-7 HAS BEEN DRIVEN BY MY DISABLED FINANCE AND USED FOR IN CITY DRIVING IT'S WHOLE LIFE AND ONE DAY A HIGH PITCHED WHINING SOUND DEVELOPED AND THE CAR WAS DELIVERED TO CAPITOL MAZDA FOR AN INSPECTION. UPON GETTING THE RESULTS WE WERE TOLD THAT THE CAR HAD NOT HAD REGULAR SERVICING AT THE DEALER. I AGREED AS I AM AN ENGINEER AND DO MOST SERVICING OF MY FAMILIES VEHICLES. THEY SAID I HAD NOT DONE THE OIL CHANGES, BUT I HAD DONE THEM EVERY 5,000 MILES. EVERY VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED HAD MORE THAN 200,000 MILE ON THEM WHEN I SOLD THEM. THE CURRENT TOYOTA TRUCK I AM DRIVING HAS 205,000 AND I HAVE DONE ALL OF THE SERVICING MYSELF. MAZDA WANTS OVER $8,000.00 TO REPAIR IT BACK TO DRIVING CONDITION. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM. SEVERAL FORUMS ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE ISSUE SHOW SOME OWNERS HAVE HAD MORE THAN ONE TURBO INSTALLED AND THEN THE ISSUE CAME BACK. ONLINE I HAVE FOUND LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF STORIES JUST LIKE MINE. THE TURBO IN THE CX FAMILY OF VEHICLES IS AN ISSUE. SINCE MAZDA DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, THE GOVERNMENT MAY HAVE TO LOOK INTO A FINE AND ALSO A RECALL OF ALL OF THESE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS VEHICLES ON OUR ROADS. *TR
MY 2009 CX-7 HAS A MAJOR OIL LEAK AT THE OIL COOLER. UPON LEARNING THIS I TURNED TO MY MECHANIC AND THE INTERNET ONLY TO FIND OUT THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON ISSUE. THIS DEFECT IS SOMETHING THAT IS ON EVERY MAZDA FORUM AND SHOULD BE MADE A RECALL AND FIXED. THIS IS A VERY WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLE THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS TYPE OF ISSUE AT THIS MILEAGE. *TR
WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN TOWN HWY THE A/C SYSTEM QUICK WORKING , SMOKING COMING FROM THE HOOD AND I TOTALLY LOST THE POWER STEERING ON THE CAR.. FINALLY AFTER PULLING OVER ON A SAFE PLACE ON THE SIDE OF THE HWY I REALIZED THE A/C COMPRESSOR LOCKED AND THE CLUTCH FELL OFF AND THE SERPENTINE BELT FOR THE STEERING WAS BROKEN AS WELL.. WHAT A MESS AND DANGEROUS SITUATION.. NOW DE DEALER SAYS MY CAR A/C COMPRESSOR REPAIR ISN'T COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY WITH ONLY 39000 MILES ON IT.. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND DANGEROUS FOR ALL THE MAZDA CX-7 OWNERS .. PLEASE TAKE AN ACTION AND RECALL THE A/C SYSTEM ON THOSE CAR BEFORE SOMEONE GET HURT OR DIE BUY.. *TR
I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY. I HEARD A HIGH PITCHED SQUEALING SOUND THEN SMOKE STARTED BLOWING OUT OF MY CAR. I COULD NOT SEE, AND THE OTHER DRIVERS BEHIND ME LOST VISABILITY TOO. IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS BLINDING SMOKE, SURROUNDED BY HUGE TRUCKS, I LOST ACELERATION. MY INSTRUMENTATION PANEL DID NOT HAVE ANY WARNING LIGHTS ON. I WAS DRIVING BLIND. I PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, AND HAD MY CAR TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP SAID MY TURBO BLEW OUT, (WHICH I GUESS SUCKED ALL THE OIL OUT OF THE CAR) I NEED A VVT VALVE AND THE TIMING CHAIN IS STRETCHED. ON A CAR WITH 57,000 MILES! IN CHECKING ON LINE, I FOUND THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THE CX-7 FOR 6 YEARS AND THEY ARE NO LONGER MAKING THIS MODEL. I SEE THAT MAZDA DEALS WITH THESE PROBLEMS BY STATING THE OWNER DID NOT MAINTAIN THE CAR PROPERLY, WHEN IN ACTUALITY, THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE TURBO SYSTEM AND HOW THE OIL COOLS IT. THERE IS ALSO A PROBLEM WITH "SLUDGE BUILDUP". I BELIEVE MAZDA HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY AVOIDING A RECALL. BUT THESE ISSUES ARE A REAL SAFETY CONCERN. I AM VERY LUCKY THAT THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT AS A RESULT OF THIS INCIDENT. THESE ISSUES CAN BE DANGEROUS. WHEN EVERYTHING BLEW ON MY CAR, NO ONE COULD SEE THE ROAD. *TR
APPARENTLY THE DESIGN OF THE TURBO AND THE ENGINE CREATES HOT SPOTS IN THE ENGINE, ESPECIALLY IN THE TURBO. THESE HOT SPOT CREATE SLUDGE BUILD UP WHICH EVENTUALLY EFFECTS THE PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY OF THE ENGINE. RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET SHOWS THIS TO BE A PROBLEM FOR A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE. MAZDA HAS REFUSED TO CORRECT THESE PROBLEMS UNDER THEIR WARRANTY. ALSO LACKING BY MAZDA, SINCE IT IS APPARENTLY A MAJOR CAUSE OF LARGE BUILD-UPS OF SLUDGE, IS THE NECESSITY TO IDLE THE ENGINE FOR THREE MINUTES PRIOR TO TURNING OFF. THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO US WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. *TR
AS I PULLED OUT OF MY PARKING LOT AT WORK I LOST POWER SO I DROVE THE CAR TO THE DEALER. THEY CALLED AND TOLD ME THE TURBO WAS BAD DUE TO BEING CLOGGED WITH SLUDGE. AND, THAT DUE TO THAT SLUDGE THE ENTIRE ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $8,900. I'VE ONLY OWNED THE CAR 9 MONTHS, HAVE RECEIPTS FOR MULTIPLE OIL CHANGES, AND HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY - HOWEVER, THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY (AMERIPLUS) STATES THAT BECAUSE THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY SLUDGE, I'M NOT COVERED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
THE AIR COMPRESSOR WENT ON MY VEHICLE AND NEEDED TO HAVE IT TOTALLY REPLACED. THE AIR CONDITIONING NVER REALLY WORKED ALL THAT WELL ANYWAYS WITH THE CAR NEVER GETTING VERY COOL. *TR
PLACED 12 CASES OF BOTTLE WATER IN REAR COMPARTMENT BEHIND REAR SEATS CAUSED THE REAR SEAT LATCHES TO BREAK. EACH CASE IS 35 PINTS (17L). NO ACCIDENT OR INJURY OCCURRED, BUT THE POTENTIAL FOR HARM IS LIKELY. WE HAD BEEN DRIVING AROUND WITH THE KIDS IN THE BACK SEAT FOR A FEW DAYS BEFORE WE NOTICED THAT THE SEATS WEREN'T LOCKED AND NOT WORKING. IF WEIGHT ALONE WAS ENOUGH TO MALFUNCTION THE LOCKS, WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF THERE ARE ITEMS IN THE BACK DURING A COLLISION? *TR
AROUND THE END OF APRIL 2012 I NOTICED THAT MY MAZDA STARTED MAKING A LOUD NOISE - COMPARABLE TO A SEMI OR DIESEL TRUCK. THE NOISE WAS CONSTANT, REGARDLESS OF SPEED, AND MAINTAINED AT THE SAME LEVEL AS LONG AS THE CAR WAS ON. I TOOK THE CAR TO MAZDA ON MAY 12TH TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE NOISE. WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF DROPPING THE CAR OFF, THE DEALERSHIP CALLED ME BACK AND ADVISED THAT IT WAS THE VVT SYSTEM THAT WAS CAUSING THE NOISE AND IT NEEDED TO BE FIXED. ALL THEY NEEDED WAS MY OIL CHANGE RECEIPTS TO COVER THIS REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. I ADVISED THEM THAT I DON'T KEEP ALL OF MY OIL CHANGE RECEIPTS; THAT I GO TO VARIOUS BUSINESSES EACH TIME I GET AN OIL CHANGE BASED ON WHO HAS A SPECIAL, COUPONS, NEAREST LOCATION ETC. I WAS THEN TOLD WITHOUT THE RECEIPTS I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $4000 FOR THE REPAIR. AFTER DOING A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET, I'VE DISCOVERED THAT THIS PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY FAULTY PARTS USED BY MAZDA - AND NOT BY POTENTIAL NEGLECT FROM THE CONSUMER. THERE'S CASE AFTER CASE OF PEOPLE REPORTING SIMILAR PROBLEMS IN THEIR CX7, MAZDA REQUIRING OIL CHANGE HISTORY, AND SERVICE BEING DENIED REGARDLESS IF APPROPRIATE HISTORY IS PROVIDED. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION THE TECHNICIANS FIND "OIL SLUDGE" IN THE VEHICLE AND QUICKLY DETERMINE THAT IT'S THE FAULT OF THE CONSUMER. I'VE NOW BEEN ASKED TO BRING MY CAR BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP FOR FUTHER DIAGNOSIS. I TOLD BOTH THE REPRESENTATIVE AT THE WARRANTY DESK AS WELL AS MY SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP THAT BASED ON MY RESEARCH ONLINE, I ALREADY CAN PREDICT WHAT WILL BE FOUND AND WHAT WILL BE SAID TO ME. I NOTED THAT MAZDA RECENTLY ISSUED A LETTER OF JANUARY OF THIS YEAR EXTENDING THE WARRANTY OF THIS VERY PART BECAUSE OF THE ON GOING ISSUES. SO THIS ISN'T SOMETHING THEY'RE UNAWARE OF - IT'S JUST SOMETHING THEY ARE (WRONGLY) REFUSING TO COVER ON THEIR WARRANTY. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT MAZDA'S NEGLECT!
