Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Sentury Touring (Discount Tire) 205/55/R16. Both front tires have inner wear to the point of shredding in the same location on *both* front tires. Both tires went out at the same time and could have caused a serious accident. Discount tire stated it was an alignment issue. The alignment shop (30 minutes after new tires were installed after dual blowout) stated that my alignment was perfectly within spec and also stated there was no indication of tire rub on any portion of the vehicle.
THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW IN 2012 AND HAD 20715 MILES ON THE ORIGINAL TIRES, WHICH NEED REPLACEMENT AND ARE UNEVENLY WORN AT THE INNER SIDE DESPITE REGULAR TIRE ROTATION. A YEAR AGO, AN ALIGNMENT SERVICE WAS PERFORMED BUT THE RIGHT REAR CAMBER IS -2.6, OUT OF MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATION. A SECOND ALIGNMENT SERVICE WAS PERFORMED RECENTLY AND DEALER COULDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM, BECAUSE THE REAR CAMBER IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. THIS MUST BE A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND I SEEK PLACE TO COMPLAIN THIS ISSUE.
