ITS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE ITS A DISTRACTION WHILE DRIVING AND IT WOULD SET OFF THE AIRBAGS FOR THAT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE IF ANYTHING IS TO HAPPEN.
EIS MODULE AND KEY FAILED WHILE ON FREEWAY, CAUSING CAR TO LOSE ALL GAUGES RADIO AND ENDING WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO START VEHICLE ON SIDE OF FREEWAY. NOW THIS IS GOING TO COST ME 1300 DOLLARS.. CAR HAS BEEN GREATLY TAKEN CARE OF AND WELL MAINTAINED. NO REASON THAT THIS SHOULD HAPPEN. I COULD OF WRECKED BC THE TURN SIGNALS STOPPED WORKING AS WELL IN THE FAST LANE WITH NO LEFT SHOULDER TO PULL OVER TO. DEADLY
BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON SO IT WAS CHARGED THEN RECONNECTED, EVERYTHING GOOD, TURN KEY TO ON POSITION EVERYTHING GOOD, TURN KEY TO START AND BANG! LOUD BANG AND WHITE SMOKE EVERYWHERE, ENGINE CONTINUED TO SMOKE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES AFTER EXPLOSION, HOLE IN FRONT OF ENGINE
THERE IS A HIGH LEVEL OF RF BEING EMITTED INSIDE THE CABIN OF THE CAR. THE LEVEL IS SO HIGH IT PUSHES PULSED RF WAVES AGAINST AN ALUMINUM EMERGENCY BLANKET THAT WAS SET UP TO IDENTIFY WHICH DIRECTION IT WAS COMING FROM. THIS METHOD SHOWED IT IS COMING FROM MULTIPLE DIRECTION WITHIN THE CABIN. THIS IS WITH THE ENGINE OFF AND WINDOWS ROLLED UP. ALSO LF L LEAVE THE CAR AND COME BACK WITHIN LESS THAN A MINUTE THE CLIMATE INSIDE WILL KNOCK ME OUT, OR MAKE ME VERY SLEEPY. I HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY GET OUT OF THE CAR AND WALK 50 TO 70 FEET AWAY FROM IT TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING IF L CATCH IT IN TIME. MOST OF THE TIME L DO NOT AND SOMEONE IS USING THIS DEFECT TO STEAL ITEMS FROM THE CAR, DESTROY THE INTERIOR AD ALONG WITH A HOST OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY WHILE L AM PASSED OUT INSIDE.BECAUSE THIS DANGEROUS ACTIVITY HAPPENS 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME THE RF MAY BE REMOTELY CONTROLLED. ALSO L HAVE ALMOST BEEN KNOCKED OUT WHILE DRIVING ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THANKS TO JESUS CHRIST L WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR OVER AND RECOVER. IN ADDITION THE RF WILL ISOLATE AND FREEZE DIFFERENT BODY PARTS INDIVIDUALLY SIMILAR TO THE THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURE OF COOL SCULPTING. MULTIPLE POLICE REPORTS HAVE BEEN MADE AND THE DEALERSHIP NOTIFIED. THE CAR MARKER WAS NOTIFIED BY PHONE BUT REFUSE TO HELP.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 MERCEDES-BENZ E500W, WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, BUT THE BRAKES FAILED. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT DROVE THROUGH A STOP LIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EPC WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND WAS ABLE TO RESUME DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE EPC UNIT FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,000.
HEADLIGHT AND ENGINE WIRING DETERIORATING BEYOND REPAIR! DANGEROUS AND MAY CAUSE SUDDEN CRASH OR FIRE.,.
THE CAR IS BEING HACKED INTO BY MULTIPLE INDIVIDUALS ACROSS TRIPLE CITIES. THE HACKERS ARE ABLE TO LOCK AND UNLOCK THE DOORS, SHIFT GEARS, TURN ON THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, CONTROL THE RADIO AND CD PLAYER, OPEN THE HOOD TO STEAL OIL AND CONTROL THE COMPLETE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE CAR. INCLUDING TURNING ON THE CABIN LIGHTS, BLACKING OUT THE ODOMETER ALONG WITH THE FUEL GAUGE, AND SHUTTING THE CAR OFF WHEN DESIRED THIS INCLUDES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. BECAUSE THEY CAN UNLOCK THE DOORS AND ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS THEY HAVE ACCESS TO THE HOOD AND GAS DOOR. THIS ALLOWED THEM TO BREAK THE RADIATOR, DAMAGE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND STEAL GAS. ALSO SINCE THE HACKERS HAVE ACCESS THEY HAVE DESTROYED THE DRIVERS SEAT, CRACK THE WOOD ON THE STEERING WHEEL AND DOOR TRIM, REMOVED THE RIGHT AND LEFT FRONT DOORS, AND DESTROYED THE CENTER ARM REST. THE RF FIELD IS CONTROLLED BY THEM, AND LOUD CRACKING SOUNDS ARE REMOTELY INTRODUCED WHEN THE CAR IS STATIONARY AND KEY REMOVED. THE TELE- AID IS ALSO ACTIVITIES REMOTELY ON OCCASION AS WELL. THE FBI HAS BEEN NOTIFIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO NO AVAIL ALONG WITH THE CAR MAKER WHO TOLD ME NOT TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN. THREE DEALERSHIPS CHECKED OUT THE CAR AND NONE KNEW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE. MERCEDES BENZ IN GERMANY WAS NOTIFIED BY EMAI AND SAID MERCEDES USA HAS MY INFORMATION I'M THEIR LEGAL DEPARTMENT. THIS WAS OVER 2 YEARS AGO WITH NO CONTACT FROM THEM REGARDING THIS ISSUE. ALL ATTEMPTS TO REACH THEM BY PHONE VIA CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS FAILED. MULTIPLE POLICE REPORTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH SEVERAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS.

THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 05V133000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
JUST RECEIVED MY E500 FROM THE MERCEDES BENZ REPAIR SHOP 2.5 WEEKS AGO. THEY FIXED THE PREVIOUS INTERIOR OIL SMELL, HOWEVER I NOTICED MY ALARM GOING OFF WHEN I WAS DRIVING OR BY ITSELF SOMETIMES WHILE THE CAR SAT IN THE DRIVEWAY. THIS HAPPENED TWO DIFFERENT DAYS BUT THE CAR STILL DROVE. THEN I WENT TO OPEN MY CAR YESTERDAY MORNING ON MY WAY TO WORK AND THE CAR HAS NO POWER. I'M ASSUMING THE ALARM EVENTUALLY WORE ON THE BATTERY. NOW I HAVE NO CAR TO DRIVE. HELP!!!
BOUGHT USED ONE OWNER CAR W/88,500 MILES IN JULY 2015. AFTER DRIVING ONLY 200 MILES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, ENGINE WOULD TURN OVER BUT NOT START, IT WAS TOWED TO REPAIR SHOP. CODES READ CRANKSHAFT SENSOR, GENERATOR. MECHANIC REPLACED CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AND REPAIRED WIRE TO IT. DID NOT REPLACE ALTERNATOR. CALLED AND ADVISED CAR WAS READY FOR PICKUP. PICKED UP CAR AND DROVE LESS THAN 2 MILES AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. TOOK BACK TO MECHANIC WHO REMOVED CODES. DROVE ANOTHER 5 MILES AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. HE DIDN'T ANSWER PHONE, DROVE HOME IN LIMP MODE WHERE IT SAT FOR OVER A MONTH WHEN ANOTHER MECHANIC WAS WILLING TO TACKLE JOB. HE PUT ON NEW ALTERNATOR AND DRIVE BELT. CRANKSHAFT SENSOR WAS BAD AGAIN AND HE REPLACED IT. CAR WOULD NOT START. TOWED TO MB IN FRANKLIN, TN WHO SAID ECM/ ECU MODULE BAD. REPLACED IT AND THEN SAID BATTERIES BAD, AND ALTERNATOR BAD. THEY REPLACED BATTERIES BUT LOCAL MECHANIC TOLD THEM ALTERNATOR WAS WORKING FINE WHEN IT WAS PUT IN CAR. CAR TOWED BACK TO LOCAL MECHANIC WHO CHECKED AND SAID ALTERNATOR WAS INDEED BAD NOW AND HE REPLACED IT WITH ONE HE CHECKED OUT AGAIN BEFORE INSTALLING. NOW THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT BEING ALLOWED TO CHARGE THE SYSTEM AND IS BEING TOWED BACK TO MB IN FRANKLIN, TN. AFTER SEARCHING THE INTERNET I FOUND THAT MB HAS BEEN INSTALLING DEFECTIVE WIRING HARNESSES IN THEIR CARS SINCE THE 1990'S AND THEY KNOW IT BUT WILL ONLY REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE HARNESS TO THOSE TO YELL THE LOUDEST BECAUSE THERE ARE SUPPOSEDLY MILLIONS ON CARS ON THE ROAD JUST WAITING TO SHORT OUT EXPENSIVE PARTS AND CAUSE OWNERS COSTLY REPAIRS. I AM YELLING AT THE TOP OF MY VOICE FOR YOU TO GO AFTER THEM WITH A VENGEANCE AND MAKE THEM DO THE REPAIRS. I HAVE SPENT OVER $4000. ALREADY ON THIS CAR WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED BY THEM AT THEIR EXPENSE. THE COVERING ON THE WIRES GETS BRITTLE AND SHORTS OUT VARIOUS..
ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF AS THE VEHICLE WAS DECELERATING TO A STOP. TWICE IT OCCURRED AS THE VEHICLE WAS COMING TO A STOP AT A STOPLIGHT AND ONCE IT HAPPENED AS THE VEHICLE WAS ON AN OFF-RAMP, EXITING I-95. ON THE FIRST TWO OCCASIONS, AT THE STOPLIGHTS, THE VEHICLE RESTARTED IMMEDIATELY. ON THE THIRD OCCASION, ON THE OFF-RAMP, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART UNTIL IT WAS ALLOWED TO COOL FOR AT LEAST FIVE MINUTES. THIS WAS PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS ON THE OFF-RAMP. AFTER THE THIRD OCCASION, I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE "CRANK POSITION SENSOR" WAS FAILING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE ENGINE SHUTTING DOWN AT ANY TIME WHILE THE CAR IS IN MOTION IS A SAFETY HAZARD. OWNERS SHOULD BE NOTIFIED THAT IT CAN HAPPEN AND SHOULD BE URGED TO GET IT CHECKED.
I AM REFERENCING A MERCEDES BENZ SERVICE BULLETIN P-B-91.60/99E. THE CONTROL CLUSTER SHOWS SRS LIGHT BEING ILLUMINATED. I TOOK MY CAR INTO A MERCEDES DEALER AND PAID TO HAVE CARE ANALYZED. THE MECHANIC INDICATED MY CAR HAS THE FOLLOWING FAULT CODES: DTC 9103 (THE RESISTANCE VALUE IN THE IGNITION CIRCUIT CONTAINING COMPONENT R12/13 IS TOO HIGH) AND DTC 9123 (THE RESISTANCE VALUE IN THE IGNITION CIRCUIT CONTAINING COMPONENT R12/14 IS TOO HIGH). BOTH PERTAINING TO A FAULTY SCM HARNESS LOCATED ON THE STEERING COLUMN. I WAS TOLD THIS IS DANGEROUS AND THAT IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, MY AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY. I AM CONCERNED THAT IF MBUSA KNOWS THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE AND HAS EVEN GONE SO FAR AS TO MAKE A SERVICE KIT TO REPAIR HARNESS, WHY ARE THEY NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REPAIR THIS, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE EXTREME DANGER THIS IS POSING? I HAVE LOOKED INTO THE COST OF THE PARTS, RETAIL AND FOR AROUND $100 TO PURCHASE. THE DEALER WANTS OVER $700 FOR LABOR ALONE, PLUS ANOTHER $250 FOR PARTS. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAFEST CAR COMPANY IN THE WORLD AND I WOULD THINK THAT THIS WOULD BE SOMETHING THEY WOULD WANT TO ADDRESS QUICKLY. FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I PAID FOR THIS VEHICLE, I BELIEVE I SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRUST THAT IT WILL PROTECT ME IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. I AM VERY AFRAID TO EVEN DRIVE THIS VEHICLE.
I SMELLED A GAS ORDER THAT WAS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING WORSE. I DECIDED TO PULL THE PASSENGER SEAT TO FOLLOW THE SMELL AND NOTICED A PUDDLE OF GAS ON TOP OF MY FUEL PUMP SENDING UNIT. I DECIDED TO PULL OUT THE UNIT AND NOTICED THE UNIT WAS DISCOLORED AROUND THE CONNECTOR TERMINALS. I BELIEVE THE TERMINAL MELTED THE SENDING UNIT CAUSING THE SENDING UNIT TO LEAK FUEL. I HAVE THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS, PLEASE HELP. *TR

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER ONLY DRIVING ONE BLOCK THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD DISPLAY ONE MILE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
Several times if the vehicle is not driven in a day or two the battery would be dead.I had to replace the battery twice in 2 years. I now receive a message (check battery) every time I start the vehicle. I bought a battery charger that I keep with me all the time. Once a month I put the vehicle on a battery charger, and if I’m not going to use it for a week or more,I put it on a trickle charger. I own 2 other vehicle and none of them need this type of treatment.
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN AN ALERT THAT THE SRS SYSTEM HAD DETECTED A FAILURE AND LIT UP ON THE GAUGE CLUSTER. HAD A AN INDEPENDENT MERCEDES SHOP READ CODES WHICH WERE: FAILURE OF SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM ON A 2005 MERCEDES E500 WAGON. THE "SRS" LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO A MERCEDES DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE WIRING HARNESS IN THE STEERING COLUMN THAT SENDS AND RECEIVES DATA TO DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG 1 CAUSED A FAILURE IN WHAT IS KNOWN AS THE SQUIB FOR THE AFFECTED AIRBAG. THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THE AIRBAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY. THEY EVEN KNEW ABOUT IT AND HAD A BULLETIN BUT NO RECALL SO I WAS CHARGED ABOUT $735 FOR THE REPAIR. I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED THAT A BRAND THAT PRIDES ITSELF IN SAFETY TECHNOLOGY WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT AND FIX A KNOWN ISSUE ON A GOODWILL CAMPAIGN THAT COULD BE A POTENTIALLY FATAL PARTS FAILURE. THE PROBLEM IS SO COMMON THAT THEY EVEN HAVE A KIT FOR THE WIRING HARNESS FIX. AFTER DOING A LOT READING ON MANY MERCEDES INFO SITES I FOUND OUT IT IS AFFECTING A POTENTIAL OF OVER 100,000 E CLASS CARS AND THE CL CLASS CARS THAT SHARE THE CHASSIS AND MANY COMPONENTS. I AM GLAD I GOT IT FIXED BECAUSE I KNOW HOW MUCH SAFER THE CAR IS WITH A FUNCTIONAL AIRBAG. *TR

THE CONTACT REPORTED THE SAFETY CONCERN WITH THE AIR BAG SENSOR, WHICH WAS NOT INCLUDED IN PE: 10017 (AIR BAGS AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER MORE THAN TWICE, BUT THE FAILURES PERSIST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
