It will reboot after 2-5 minutes with no lost data. Dealer in Cherry Hill, NJ did major software update not completed at time of purchase. But incident happened after two weeks. Others with this make, year and model have same situations with dealerships not knowing anything. Supposedly, Mercedes knows but a solution may be three months or more. This is a safety issue as if happens at night, you lose all connections even to the cell phone and no speed sign indicator on. You cannot see anything but the driver screen with just the speed you are doing. Cruise control disengages which is using all security systems and navigation map.
