The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML450. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, after a while, the driver's side seat belt started to retract and eventually became uncomfortably tight. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 150,000.
I have reached out to Mercedes-Benz to have the 2 recalls fixed. They tell me I will receive a letter with instructions. I have not received any letters and it's been more than 6 months.
On February 18, 2022 at approximately 2240 hours I was in a wreck which totalled my 2010 Mercedes ML-350. I was approaching a curb and tried to brake but they didn't work and my vehicle pulled to the right and I totaled it out on an electricity pole. I was not aware of the recall 16V081 until September 04, 2022. My mercedes is currently under a tarp under my shed, and has been for months. Please explain the steps and procedures I need to follow to get my vehicle replaced because the damages to my vehicle as well as the transformers that blew, shutting off power in a 2 miles radius could have been fatal and I have since been without a vehicle.
Before the incident my Mercedes started to pull away from me each time I attempted to press the brakes. At times the when I would press the brakes nothing would happen at all as if I wasn’t pressing them at all. Well on the night of February 18,2022 I was coming around a curb and when I went to press the brakes, my Mercedes began to sway slightly but the brakes never kicked in. The result of the incident totaled my vehicle, took out two transformers and a light pole, and costed me a careless operation ticket, the storage and towing of the vehicle from the incident, to the tow yard, then back home, as well as paying the ticket and having to pay the dmv. There is still an unknown amount due to demco (the energy company) for the light pole, two transformers, after hours workers and the actual worked and labor they performed. The recall flyers hadn’t been mailed out until a few months after the wreck so I had no knowledge of the issues happening nor the fact that driving the vehicle could be detrimental.
The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML350. The contact stated while driving at 45-50 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond. The contact depressed the brake pedal harder and the vehicle stopped abruptly. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that no issues were found. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The contact received recall notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V315000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). However, the parts to do the recall repair were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time to complete the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer failed to provide vehicle rental assistance as advised in the recall notice. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and followed up with the dealer, but the dealer failed to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
WITHOUT WARNING WHILE IN MOTION, ON A COUNTRY ROAD, AN ALARM WENT OFF STATING "RETURN TO WORKSHOP" TURN SIGNALS STOPPED WORKING, DASHBOARD WHEN BLANK (NO SPEEDOMETER WORKING), SRS ALARM AND COULD NOT PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK OR NEUTRAL. *TR
Vehicle will not crank/start intermittently key turns in the ignition but nothing happens. Front door on the right and left will not operate and have to push down locks in order for vehicle to lock and prevent vehicle/ property theft.
TAKATA RECALL - AIR BAG STILL NOT AVAILABLE TO BE FIXED. WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS FIXED!!
BRAKE LIGHTS & REAR TAIL GATE MALFUNCTION AFTER RUNNING CAR THROUGH CAR WASH. THE PROBLEMS SELF-CORRECT AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS. SUSPECT THAT WATER IS SOMEHOW GETTING IN VIA FAULTY SEALS. THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT SIMILAR ISSUES AND MBENZ HAS EVEN ISSUED RECALLS FOR OTHER MODELS. IN ONE RECALL, THE PROBLEM IS NOTED TO POTENTIALLY CAUSE A FIRE. ALTHOUGH DEALER IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM, THE BOERNE, TX SERVICE REP HAS NO INTEREST IN INVESTIGATING THE MATTER FURTHER UNLESS, KNOWING OTHERS HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES, UNLESS I PAY FOR THE SERVICE. HOPE WE DON'T EARN A TICKET OR CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
VEHICLE HAS A VERY UNSTABLE RIDE THAT CONTINUES TO WORSEN. THE PROBLEM AROSE ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO AND CONTINUES TO WORSEN -- MORE SO OVER THE LAST YEAR. I'VE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS AND TAKE METICULOUS CARE OF IT. I'VE KEPT UP WITH ALL MAINTENANCE AND ALWAYS PURCHASE THE BEST QUALITY REPLACEMENT TIRES. NOW THE VEHICLE IS SO UNSTABLE WITH ANY MINIMAL ROAD BUMPS OR EVEN SLIGHTLY UNEVEN SURFACES AT SPEEDS GREATER THAN 35 MPH. SUV LOSES IT'S "GRIP" WITH THE ROAD, ESPECIALLY CONCERNING IF MAKING A TURN AT THE SAME TIME. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN MAKING A SLIGHT CURVE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THAT WE HIT A TINY UNEVEN ROAD PATCH, WHERE THE VEHICLE SLIDES TO THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION WHERE WE'RE TRYING TO TURN. HAVE TAKE VEHICLE A COUPLE OF TIMES TO THE DEALER. EACH TIME THEY COME UP EMPTY -- THE LAST TIME THEY REPLACED THE BUSHINGS AT A HEFT COST, YET THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PROBLEM AND WILL ONLY BE A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE AN ACCIDENT OCCURS. DEALER IS NOT OFFERING MUCH HELP. TODAY'S SERVICE REP INDICATED HE FELT THE STEERING DID NOT "FEEL RIGHT."

TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL HAS LASTED OVER TWO YEARS WITH NO RESOLUTION. ALL DATE PREDICTIONS AND THERE WERE MANY, HAVE COME AND GONE. IS THIS A DEATH WISH!!!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO THEIR JOB! SAFETY COUNSUL?????

"TAKATA RECALL" MANUFACTURER HAS FAILED TO PROVIDE REPLACEMENT PARTS. DEALERSHIP UNWILLING TO PURSUE MANUFACTURER TO DELIVER THE PARTS. LEAVING ME AND MY FAMILY AT RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY AND DEATH. "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE"
TAKATA RECALL - MERCEDES BENZ COMMITTED TO A DATE AND THEN RENEGED. OUR VEHICLE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST VEHICLES AND IN THE HIGHEST PRIORITY ZONE FOR THE TAKATA RECALL AND AIRBAG REPLACEMENT. IT IS ALREADY TWO YEARS PAST THE DEADLINE FOR MERCEDES TO HAVE REPLACED THE AIRBAG. AFTER WEEKS OF EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS THIS PAST SPRING, MERCEDES PROMISED US THE PART WOULD BE READY ON JUNE 30. THEY REPEATEDLY CONFIRMED THIS DATE UNTIL THE DAY PASSED AND NO PART ARRIVED. NOW THEY SAY IT WILL BE DECEMBER AT THE EARLIEST, OR THAT IT COULD ACTUALLY BE YEARS UNTIL THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAG IS REPLACED. MEANWHILE, THIS VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE, BUT UNLIKE OTHER AUTOMAKERS, MERCEDES IS NOT OFFERING A LOANER VEHICLE TO USE SAFEL YIN THE MEANTIME.
TAKATA RECALL -- INACTION FROM MERCEDES BENZ WE FIRST REACHED OUT TO MERCEDES IN EARLY MAY OF THIS YEAR. WE CALLED SEVERAL LOCAL DEALERS TO ASK ABOUT WHEN THEY COULD HAVE THEIR AIRBAG REPLACED, BUT WE COULDN'T GET AN ANSWER. WE THEN CONTACTED MERCEDES CORPORATE. WE HAVE SINCE EXCHANGED MANY EMAILS AND MANY PHONE CALLS, BUT THE CAR REMAINS UNREPAIRED. AT FIRST, IT SEEMED LIKE WE WERE MAKING PROGRESS: WE WERE TOLD PARTS WOULD BE READY IN JUNE 2018. WE ASKED THAT MERCEDES CONFIRM THIS DATE, AND THEY DID, VIA EMAIL ON MAY 18. WE FOLLOWED UP IN JUNE TO ASK IF THE PARTS WERE STILL ON TRACK. WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL ON JUNE 12 FROM MERCEDES QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT SAYING "I HAVE CHECKED WITH OUR PRODUCT ADVISOR TODAY AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE JUNE 30 DATE FOR AIRBAG AVAILABILITY IS REALISTIC AND THEY HAVE NO REASON TO BELIEVE THEY WILL BE DELAYED." WE INQUIRED AGAIN AS THE END OF THE MONTH APPROACHED AND MERCEDES WROTE: "I HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THE TAKATA REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR FATHER'S VEHICLE WILL BE CARRIED OUT AS PREVIOUSLY ADVISED. THE CAMPAIGN WILL BE LAUNCHED TODAY AND CUSTOMER LETTERS WILL BE SENT OUT ON JUNE 29TH. THE DEALERS ARE BEING NOTIFIED TODAY." HOWEVER, THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY FOR THE PARTS CAME AND PASSED. WE CALLED THREE MERCEDES DEALERS IN ORANGE COUNTY, CA. NONE HAD THE PART AND NONE KNEW WHEN THE PART WOULD GET THERE. AGAIN, WE HAD TO BE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE LOCAL DEALERS AND MERCEDES CORPORATE. ONCE WE FINALLY REACHED MERCEDES, THEY CHANGED THE DATE OF DELIVERY OF THE TAKATA AIRBAG PARTS TO DECEMBER 2018. SCHEDULES SLIP, BUT NOT TO THIS DEGREE AND SO SUDDENLY WITHOUT ANY INSIGHT. LASTLY, WHEN WE PRESSED FOR SOME COMMITMENT THAT THE DECEMBER DATE WOULD BE MET, WE WERE TOLD THAT WE COULD BE YEARS AWAY FROM ADDRESSING THE DANGER. WE ARE DEEPLY CONCERNED FOR OURSELVES AND OTHERS DRIVING THESE DANGEROUS VEHICLES.

TAKATA RECALL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THIS RECALL DONE. WHEN CAN I EXPECT THIS TO BE COMPLETED.
PASSENGER SIDE REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR FAILED AND SEAT BELT IS IN FULLY EXTENDED POSITION AND WON'T RETRACT, MAKING IT UNUSABLE FOR PROTECTION OF A PASSENGER IN THAT SEAT. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT OR SUFFERED ANY IMPACT, ETC., AND WHEN A PASSENGER HAD USED THE BELT AND WENT TO TAKE IT OFF IT WOULDN'T RETRACT. THERE HAD BEEN NO PRIOR INDICATION OF A PROBLEM. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND MY VEHICLE HAS ONLY 24,280 MILES ON IT AND THE SEATBELT IN QUESTION HAS ONLY BEEN USED 10 OR 15 TIMES IN THE 8 YEAR LIFE OF THE VEHICLE AS MY WIFE AND I ARE THE ONLY USERS, OUR CHILDREN ALL GROWN AND LONG GONE. THE MERCEDES DEALER WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM SAYS THE RETRACTOR CANNOT BE REPAIRED AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST IN EXCESS OF $800. I CAN'T AFFORD THAT, SO IT WON'T BE REPAIRED.
WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE THE CAR DOES NOT START AND THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE. IT USUALLY TAKES MULTIPLE TRIES BEFORE IT USUALLY DOES START. HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS.

TAKATA RECALL: I RECEIVED A LETTER IN DECEMBER OF 2017 STATING THAT MY AIRBAG COULD KILL ME AND THAT REPLACEMENT PARTS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE BY MARCH 31, 2018 BUT TO THIS DAY THEY ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE.
JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A FAMILY MEMBER WHO TAKES GREAT CARE OF THEIR CARS. THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE PASSENGER SEATBELT DOES NOT WORK. I GENTLY PULLED OUT AND IT DOESN'T RETRACT NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED. NOW I CAN'T USE WITH MY 3 KIDS. THESE REAR SEAT BELTS WERE ONLY LIGHTLY USED FROM PREVIOUS OWNER AS THIS WAS HER COMMUTER CAR .SEEMS TO ME THIS HAS BEEN A COMMON COMPLAINT ONLINE YET NO RECALL. PLEASE INVESTIGATE RIGHT AWAY.
TAKATA RECALL. MERCEDES BENZ HAD ISSUED A RECALL FOR MY AIRBAGS AND HAD NOTIFIED ME IN FEBRUARY 2016. THE ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED AND I RECEIVED ANOTHER NOTICE IN THE MAIL FROM MERCEDES BENZ IN JANUARY OF 2017. THE ISSUE IS YET TO BE RESOLVED, EVEN THOUGH MERCEDES BENZ CLAIMS THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THEIR VEHICLES AND THAT THEY SENT THE LETTER AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE. IT IS NOW THE END OF NOVEMBER AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE REPAIR KIT WILL BE AVAILABLE. IT IS GOING ON ALMOST TWO YEARS AND I FEEL LIKE THIS ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I DRIVE IN FEAR EACH DAY SINCE THIS RECALL WAS ISSUED. I HAVE MADE NUMEROUS CALLS TO THE DEALER AND ALSO MERCEDES BENZ CORPORATE OFFICE TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY UPDATES ABOUT THIS RECALL AND HAVE GOT NOWHERE.
2010 ML350 STARTS RIGHT UP WHEN COLD IN THE MORNING. IF I GO TO A STORE AND RETURN TO THE CAR WHEN I INSERT AND TURN THE KEY NOTHING HAPPENS NO LIGHTS ON DASH. AFTER STRUGGLING FOR 5 MINUTES TRYING EVERYTHING FROM LOCKING/UNLOCKING OPENING DOORS TURNING KEY SLOWLY IT FINALLY STARTS. THIS PROBLEM STARTED A MONTH AGO AND IS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT NOW. AFTER READING NUMEROUS COMPLAINS ON FORUMS I ASSUME IT IS THE ESI (ELECTRONIC SYSTEM IGNITION) AND IT IS AN EXPENSIVE FIX SO I CALLED MERC BENZ AND COMPLAINED AND ASKED IF THERE IS A RECALL. THERE IS NO RECALL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME SHE IS NOT A MECHANIC AND WANTS ME TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. AS I AM AWARE THIS REPAIR COST CUSTOMERS FROM 1200-1800 DOLLARS.

AS PER NOTICE I GOT I CALL MERCEDEZ DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME THAT TAKATA HAS RULED OUT MERCEDEZ BENZ FROM AIR BAG RECALL AND I DON'T NEED TO WORRY UNLESS THEY HEAR ANYTHING ELSE FROM TAKATA. I CALLED ROSWELL DEALERSHIP IN ATLANTA GA. I WOULD LIKE CONFIRMATION THAT THE AIR BAGS OF MY VEHICLE ARE OK..
GOT RECALL NOTICE BUT DEALER SAYS THEY DO NOT HAVE PARTS TO REPLACE THE AIR BAGS.

TAKATA RECALL I GOT LETTERS FROM MERCEDES BENZ EVERY YEAR SINCE 2014. THEY INFORMED ME THAT MY VEHICLE HAS A DEFECTIVE AIRBAG INFLATOR AND THEY WILL COME BACK TO ME FOR A SERVICE APPOINTMENT. OCTOBER 2017 A GOT A LETTER FROM TK HOLDING INC. AND THEY RECOMMEND ME TO CONTACT MY NEAREST DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY TO SCHEDULE A FREE REPAIR. I CALLED MERCEDES BENZ PLANO 10/24/2017 IN ORDER TO SET UP A SERVICE APPOINTMENT AND TO MY SURPRISE THEY TOLD ME MY CAR HAS NO RECALL AND IT'S NO PROBLEM WITH MY CARS AIRBAG. I ASKED THEM TO EXPLAIN WHY I GOT LETTER FROM THEM DURING THE LAST 3 YEARS REGARDING RECALL OF MY VEHICLE. THEY SAID THEY MUST SEND OUT LETTERS TO ALL OWNERS ACCORDING TO THE LAW AND IT'S NO PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. ACCORDING TO YOUR WEBSITE: RECALL STATUS: RECALL INCOMPLETE REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE. APPARENTLY I GOT THE WRONG INFORMATION FROM MERCEDES BENZ PLANO AND I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IT CAN TAKE SEVERAL YEARS TO CHANGE MY CARS AIRBAG. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
TAKATA RECALL - I CONTACTED THE MERCEDES DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT PART YET.
TAKATA RECALL ATTEMPTS TO HAVE DEFECT REPLACED HAVE BEEN FUTILE. CONTINUE TO REFER ME TO MBUSA AND ONLY GETTING A RECORDED MESSAGE DESPITE MAILINGS SAYING TAKE CARE TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. I'M BEING TOLD THEY HAVE NO NOTICE OF RECALL WHEN THERE IS!
TWO ISSUES WITH MY ML350 2010 CAR - 1) ELECTRICAL - GAS GAUGE WENT TO ZERO WHILE DRIVING EVEN WHEN CAR WAS THREE QUARTERS FULL OF GAS. AFTER I STOPPED CAR AND RESTARTED ENGINE, GAS GAUGE WENT IMMEDIATELY BACK UP TO THREE QUARTERS FULL. 2) FAILED BRAKES - I WAS DRIVING INTO A PARKING SPOT SLOWLY USING BRAKES AND WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO COME TO A FULL STOP, THE BRAKES FAILED AND WOULDN'T STOP THE CAR COMPLETELY RESULTING IN ME DRIVING OVER A PARKING METER. IT FELT LIKE THE CAR ACCELERATED AS WELL AFTER HITTING PARKING METER BUT I WAS ABLE TO STOP CAR AFTER PRESSING ON THE BRAKES AGAIN. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS HURT GIVEN SLOW SPEED AND NO ONE BEING ON SIDEWALK AT THE TIME.
ON AUGUST 1ST 2017 BOUGHT BRAND NEW BATTERY FROM MERCEDES-BENZ OF EASTON. INSTALLED IN NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. ON SEPT 12TH 2017 AROUND 2.45PM STARTED THE CAR(IN THE DRIVEWAY) AND WENT INSIDE TO GET MY MOBILE. WHEN I CAME OUT TO TE CAR, SAW BIG SMOKE INSIDE AND IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED OFF THE ENGINE. SAW FLAMES COMING UNDERNEATH OF PASSENGER SEAT AND IMMEDIATELY POURED WATER. LATER OBSERVED BATTERY IGNITED THE FLAMES AND EVEN TOP OF THE BATTERY STARTED MELTING. CALLED MBUSA AND REPORTED THE INCIDENT, AND WAS PROMISED THAT A SUPERVISOR WILL CALL BACK. WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM MBUSA. IT WAS SO SCARY, AND I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED ON FREEWAY.
THERE HAS STILL BEEN NO REMEDY FROM MERCEDES FOR THE TAKATA BAG REPLACEMENT
TAKATA RECALL. I CONTACTED MY DEALER AS WELL AS THEIR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS BECAUSE I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR BUT AM NOT IN A FINANCIAL POSITION TO BUY NEW OR EXCHANGE IT. THEY INFORMED ME MERCEDES DOES NOT BELIEVE THIS TO BE OF CONCERN AND THEY ARE NOT ACTIVELY PURSUING THE MANUFACTURER FOR CORRECTIVE PARTS. I WANT THIS CORRECTED BEFORE I BECOME A STATISTIC. THIS IS CONCERNING AS IT SEEMS THERE IS NO TIMELINE FOR THIS PROBLEM TO BE CORRECTED AND MY SAFETY IS IN JEOPARDY.

MERCEDES-BENZ ANNAPOLIS (324 6TH ST, ANNAPOLIS, MD 21403, (888) 261-7620) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. *BF *TR
BACK SEAT L&R PASSENGER SEAT BELTS WILL NOT RETRACT. THEY STAY EXTENDED CREATING A SAFETY ISSUE FOR BACK SEAT PASSENGERS.
TAKATA RECALL - MERCEDES RECALLED MY VEHICLE FEBUARY 2016 AND STILL WITHOUT A REMEDY MAY 2017. TRIED TRADING IN THE CAR, BUT DEALER WON'T TAKE THE VEHICLE DUE TO RECALL ISSUE. FIFTEEN MONTHS SHOULD BE AMPLE TIME TO RESOLVE A MAJOR SAFETY RECALL ISSUE SUCH AS THIS.

IN ADDITION, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PARTS WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER OF 2018. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 91,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

WE RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM MERCEDES THAT OUR CAR WAS PART OF THE RECALL DUE TO FAULTY TAKATA AIRBAGS AND THAT WE WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN THE PART WAS AVAILABLE SO WE COULD GET THE NECESSARY REPAIR. ALMOST A YEAR LATER, THERE ARE STILL NO PARTS AVAILABLE, ACCORDING TO OUR LOCAL MERCEDES SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND IS PUTTING MY FAMILY AT RISK EVERY TIME WE DRIVE OUR CAR. THESE PARTS NEED TO BE AVAILABLE!!
:TAKATA RECALL" MY VEHICLE AIRBAG INFLATORS CONTAIN PHASE STABILIZED AMMONIUM NITRATE PROPELLANT WHICH COULD DEFECT OR RUPTURE IN A HEATED ENVIRONMENT. THE AIRBAG HASN'T RUPTURE OR THEY'S NO SCHEDULE DATE FOR A REPAIR BY TAKATA. NO ACCIDENT HAS OCCUR AS YET REATING TO THE AIRBAG
"TAKATA RECALL" HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY MERCEDES BENZ REGARDING RECALL. REQUESTING AN ESTIMATED TIME FOR REPLACEMENT OF DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG
"TAKATA RECALL" I AM CONCERNED THAT I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHEN TO EXPECT MY VEHICLE TO BE REPAIRED FOR THE RECALL. I HAVE REGISTERED WITH MERCEDES AND HAVE CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP. THEY TOO HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHEN TO EXPECT THE REPAIRS. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE USED FROM A NON-MERCEDES DEALERSHIP HOWEVER AGAIN, HAVE REGISTERED IT WITH MERCEDES BENZ OF ANNAPOLIS FOR THE REQUIRED RECALL. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE VEHICLE, I AM JUST INQUIRING REGARDING THE RECALL AND WHEN I CAN EXPECT SOME ACTION.
