WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE CAR STARTED TO SPUTTER AND WOULD NOT PICK UP SPEED. I TOOK THE CAR TO A MECHANIC WHO RAN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND GAVE ME THE CODES TO TAKE TO A FORD DEALERSHIP. THE SENSOR SWITCH FOR BOTH REAR BREAKS WHERE REPLACED. A WEEK LATER SAME THING HAPPENED. IT IS CURRENTLY DOING THE SAME THING. THE BREAK SYSTEM LIGHT IS COMING ON AND THE CONTROL SYSTEM LIGHT. NOBODY SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO FIX IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, ON PRIVATE STREETS WHEN THE CAR STARTS TO SPUTTER AND I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF AND ON AT LEAST 3 TIMES BEFORE IT WILL PICK UP SPEED AND GO.
INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH SOFT BRAKE PEDAL THAT WENT TO FLOOR NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. MY MECHANIC CHECKED THE MASTER CYLINDER AND COULD NOT PINPOINT THE PROBLEM. TOOK VEHICLE TODAY (07-11-2018) TO WAYNE LINCOLN MERCURY TO DETERMINE WHAT IS CAUSING MY CAR TO KEEP HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE LOST ALMOST ONE WEEK OF WORK AND THE MECHANIC STILL HAS NOT FIGURED OUT WHAT IS CAUSING MY BRAKES TO FAIL. UNABLE TO BLEED THE BRAKES, ACCORDING TO MY MECHANIC. NOW WAITING ON WAYNE LINCOLN TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. ALREADY REPORTED THE CONDITION TO FORD AND LEARNED THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT YOU AND FORD ARE ALREADY AWARE OF.
TAKATA RECALL I NOT RECEIVED A NEW AIRBAG AS OF TODAY 11/7/2018. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION ON WHEN I WILL GET A REPLACEMENT AIRBAG.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V904000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 87,163.
SURGING WHILE DRIVING ON URBAN STREET, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, MECHANIC SAID CODE 2111 SHOWS. CODE INDICATES MALFUNCTIONING THROTTLE BODY.
I WAS IN A PARKING LOT AND WHEN I TURNED ON IGNITION AND POWER ASSIST FAULT LIGHT LIT UP ON PANEL AND WHEN TRIED TO BACK UP HAD NO POWER STEERING. TURNED CAR OFF AND BACK ON NUMEROUS TIMES BUT SAME LIGHTS AND LOUD WARNING SOUND. TRIED TO DRIVE OUT OF PARKING LOT BUT SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC LIGHT CAME ON AND COULDN'T TURN STEERING WHEEL TO DRIVE CAR. HAD TO LEAVE MY CAR AT RESTAURANT AND CALL FOR A RIDE BACK TO WORK. THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2011 MERCURY MILAN BUT NOT 2010. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET INJURED OR EVEN DIE IF NOT RECALLED FOR REPAIRS. I JUST GOT THIS CAR PAID FOR AND NOW HAVING PROBLEMS.
POWER STEERING FAILED WHILE DRIVING IN NEIGHBORHOOD AT 30 MPH. THE POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY AND TIE RODS WERE REPLACED 3 MONTHS/3,000 AGO FOR THE SAME EXACT FAILURE. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL FOR THE MILAN 2010 FOR THIS ISSUE JUST LIKE THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE MILAN 2011 AND FUSION 2011/2012. SEE INITIAL COMPLAINT # 11081366.

THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH AN UNKNOWN DEALER SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO CHECK BACK REGARDING PART AVAILABILITY. TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A NOTICE DATED JUNE 2018 ADVISING OF A RECALL DUE TO THE PASSENGER AIRBAG. THE NOTICE PROVIDED AN ETA FOR THE PARTS TO BECOME AVAILABLE DURING THE 2ND OR 3RD QUARTER OF 2018. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL TO HAVE THIS ISSUE RESOLVED AND WE ARE NOW IN THE 4TH QUARTER OF 2018. I WAS ADVISED BY PHONE FROM THE FORD DEALER I COULD DRIVE THE CAR HOWEVER I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HAVE ANYONE SIT IN THE FRONT SEAT. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS ISSUE RESOLVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I RECEIVED A NOTICE EARLIER THIS MONTH ADVISING OF THE AIRBAG SETTLEMENT WITH A HEARING DATE SET FOR DECEMBER 11, 2018. I DO NOT WANT TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THIS CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT AND WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE MORE INFORMATION IN REFERENCE TO THIS MATTER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.
WELL FOR STARTERS ITS THROWING A CODE SAYING THAT I HAVE A SMALL FUEL LEAK SOME WHERE AND THE 2 IS ONE DAY I HAD A FLAT AND AFTER I CHANGED THE TIRE THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE CAR HAS A HEAVY VIBRATION IN IT AND WHILE DRIVING IT WANT TO TAKE OFF EITHER LEFT OR RIGHT WHICH ENDED UP WITH ME RUNNING OFF THE ROAD TWICE ALREADY

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. NEITHER AN AUTHORIZED DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 214,145.

THE CONTACT HAD BEEN UNABLE TO GET THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER TO COMPLY DUE TO A DELAY WITH PART DISTRIBUTION FOR THEIR PRIORITY GROUP AND ZONE DESIGNATIONS. THE CONTACT WAS OFFERED TO TRADE IN THE VEHICLE FOR A 2015 TOYOTA RAV4, BUT DECLINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED FOR MONTHS AND FAILED TO REMEDY THE DEFECT. MY STEERING WHEEL COMPLETELY WENT OFF IN THE FREEWAY I GOT A SIGN ON THE DASHBOARD TO SERVICE STEERING WHEEL NOW AND THEN MY STEERING WHEEL STOPPED WORKING AS I WAS DRIVING IN THE FREEWAY. AFTER GETTING THIS FIXED LESS THEN A YEAR LATER THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AS I WAS DRIVING MY STEERING WHEEL JUST LOCKED AND IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO STEER MY CAR TO A SAFE PLACE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME BEING ON THE FREEWAY AND THIS SECOND TIME DRIVING IN THE STREETS BOTH TIMES IT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS DRIVING FROM ONE SECOND TO THE NEXT I GOT A MESSAGE TO SERVICE STEERING WHEEL NOW AND THEN MY STEERING WHEEL AUTOMATICLY LOCKED AND IT MADE IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO MANUEVER THE CAR TO A SAFE PLACE. BOTH TIMES MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE CAR AND IT WAS A VERY SCARY THING TO GO THROUGH.

THE LETTER FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY, IN MAY 2018, STATED THAT PARTS WERE ANTICIPATED TO BE AVAILABLE DURING THE SECOND AND THIRD QUARTERS OF 2018. WITH THE FOURTH QUARTER COMING TO A CLOSE, I HAVE BECOME INPATIENT. IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT TO BE UNABLE TO TRANSPORT PASSENGERS SAFELY IN MY VEHICLE.

THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING DID NOT REVEAL A CODE REGARDING A VAPOR LOCK FAILURE THAT MAY HAVE DAMAGED THE FUEL TANK. THE CONTACT BEGAN TO SMELL A FUEL ODOR ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 AND SHE NOTICED A HUGE PUDDLE OF FUEL ON THE DRIVEWAY. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND WAS SHOWN THE STRESS CRACK ON THE FUEL TANK. THE DEALER ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE FAILURE WAS FROM THE RECALL REPAIR A YEAR EARLIER; HOWEVER, THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE THE CONTACT FOR THE REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT THE DEALER AND CONTACT HAD NOT HEARD BACK. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
BRAKES FAILING! VEHICLE WILL STOP ON INITIAL DEPRESSION OF BRAKE PEDAL. CONDITION ARISES WHEN ONCE AT A COMPLETE STOP AFTER INITIATING A BRAKING EVENT, IF PEDAL IS RELEASED AND THEN RE-DEPRESSED, THE PEDAL WILL GO TO THE FLOOR AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT STOP. CONDITION IS INTERMITTENT, BUT GUARANTEED TO HAPPEN.

MY WIFE HAD A TOTAL BRAKE FAILURE (PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR, NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ANY PRIOR PROBLEMS) AS A RESULT OF WHICH SHE WENT THROUGH A RED LIGHT. SHE ROLLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE SHE SHUT EVERYTHING OFF. WHEN SHE RESTARTED THE BRAKES WORKED FINE. FORD DELER SAYS A $1454 NEW HCU UNIT MAY FIX THE PROBLEM. NO OTHER DIAGNOSIS EVEN THOUGH BRAKE SYSTEM WAS THOROUGHLY EXAMINED.
WHILE IN MOTION THE STEERING OF MY VEHICLE BECAME VERY HARD ON A CITY STREET AS I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK .IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN EVEN ON THE BUSY THOROUGHFARES.
DRIVING UP ICY CURVE UP HILL, SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW CAME ON. VEHICLE LOST ALL STEERING LOCKED AND RAN OFF ROAD. NOW IT'S IN A SUPER HUMAN STEERING MODE IN MY DRIVEWAY WHERE ITS BEEN SINCE THE INCIDENT. WAS BEING DRIVEN BY MY DAUGHTER WITH MY OTHER 4 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ON ICY ROADS IN ALASKA. FORD IS WILLING TO KILL FAMILIES I SEE. 72,000 MILES. CALLED DEALER AND SAID SEND ME ALL INFORMATION FROM MY SCAN. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM KENDALL FORD IN ANCHORAGE.

MY WIFE WAS DRIVING THE CAR IN THE PARKING OF A BUSY SHOPPING CENTER WHEN UNEXPECTEDLY SHE WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE CAR AS THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP ON HER. SHE ALMOST CRASHED BUT LUCKILY WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE CAR AS SHE WAS ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A TURN. RECEIVED TWO ERRORS (1) SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW AND (2) SERVICE ADVANCEDTRAC. FROM WHAT I'M RESEARCHING IT SEEMS THAT THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE 2011 MODEL BUT THE 2010 EVEN THOUGH THESE ARE THE SAME COMPONENTS...? CAR HAS 76K MILES.

I RECEIVED MY RECALL NOTICE IN FEBRUARY 2018, IT IS NOW OCTOBER 2018. IS THIS A JOKE? THE NOTICE STATES THAT THIS PROBLEM CAN CAUSE "DEATH". THESES REPLACEMENT PARTS NEED TO BE INSTALLED IN THE RECALL VEHICLES BEFORE FORD INSTALLS THEM IN NEW VEHICLES.

7/2016 I RECEIVED MY FIRST RECALL NOTICE FROM FORD STATING MY PASSENGER TAKATA AIRBAG WAS RECALLED. AT THAT TIME MY LOCAL FORD DEALER SAID THE PARTS WERE BEING RELEASED BY "ZONE IN THE U S". 12/2017 I RECEIVED MY SECOND LETTER FROM FORD NOW TELLING ME THAT THIS COULD NOT BE REMEDIED UNTIL "SPRING 2018" AND IN THE MEANTIME "NO ONE SHOULD RIDE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT". DUH, JUST HOW IN THE HECK IS A HOUSEHOLD SUPPOSE TO FUNCTION IN THIS MANNER? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS ON FORD'S PART.
TAKARA RECALL - I AM TOLD THAT THE PARTS TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE HAVE NOT YET BEEN PRODUCED AND WON'T BE AVAILABLE FOR SOME TIME YET. I AM CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE! WHY CAN'T PRESSURE BE APPLIED TO THE MANUFACTURER TO MAKE THIS A PRIORITY?
