I hit a deer head on going 70 miles per hour and the air bags never deployed
My soda bottle engaged the electronic emergency park brake while driving. The emergency brake will not release causing me not to be able to drive the vehicle.
The contact's son owned a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel seized and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact's son was able to restart the vehicle, drove to a local convenience store, and parked the vehicle. The contact was exiting the convenience store and noticed a fire exiting from the front hood of the vehicle. The store employee gave the contact's son a fire extinguisher, however the flames were too intense. The fire department and the police were called. The fire department extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported. A fire and police report was filed. The convenience store's concrete and trash can were damaged. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
The contact owns a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle hesitated, stalled, and failed to respond as needed. The contact stated that the engine was making an abnormal thumping sound. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was inspected by the dealer after the first failure, and the contact was informed that the failure might be caused by bad gasoline. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer was contacted, and an appointment was scheduled for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 34,000.
THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF WILL NOT OPEN. I CAN HEAR THE MOTOR HOWEVER THE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR SUNROOF WILL NOT OPEN AND THE SHIFTER DOES NOT STAY IN DRIVE. MY SISTER AND I WERE ON THE INTERSTATE AND SHE HANDED ME A DRINK AND HIT THE SHIFTER AND IT SLID INTO NEUTRAL WITHOUT PUSHING THE BUTTON.THE HEATED SEATS DO NOT HEAT PROPERLY.
