Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)VEHICLE WAS AT DEALER SHIP FOR RECALLS. REAR CALIPERS STILL LOCK UP SLIGHTLY FROM EMERGENCY BRAKE ACTUATOR ISSUE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ACTUATOR LEVER BUT NEVER REMOVED THE CALIPER TO DISASSEMBLE AND CLEAN OUT CORROSION BEHIND PISTON. STUART SAID THE SPRINGS WERE REPLACED. I LOOKED AND CAN SEE THE ORIGONAL RUSTY SPRINGS. THE BRAKES STILL SLIGHTLY LOCK UP ON THE REARS.
RIGHT REAR CALIPER RUBS AND STICKS FOR A FEW DAYS THEN STOPS AFTER A FEW MILES. IT DOES NOT DO IT EVERY DAY OR EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. DOES IT MORE WHEN IT IS BELOW 40. CONTINUES TO BE AN ISSUE, CANNOT GET PARTS TO FIX IT ANYWHERE INCLUDING MITSUBISHI. CALLED A DEALER 2 WEEKS AGO TO ORDER AND STILL WAITING FOR THE PART TO COME IN.
WHILE DRIVING IN A SLOW MOVING CONSTRUCTION ZONE, APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP, CONTINUING TO MOVE FORWARD. NOTICED ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE THAT AT TIMES ANTI LOCK BRAKES COME ON AND MAKES THE VEHICLE MORE DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. SPECIFICALLY UNDER WET ROAD CONDITION ON ASPHALT, BUT DOES HAPPEN OCCASIONALLY ELSEWHERE.
AFTER A FULL STOP BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO CAR FLOOR AND CAR MOVE FORWARD EVEN PEDAL IS TO THE FLOOR I BILEVE IS THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER I HAVE TAKE THE CAR TO DEALER AND RESPONSE IS WE CAN NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM IN LESS THAN A MONTH HAS HAPPEN 6 TIMES
