THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING AND SUSTAINED A CHEST INJURY AND A BRUISED RIGHT KNEE. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT REQUIRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 1-267758994. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO ASSIST WITH THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE CONTACT'S INSURANCE COMPANY LOOKING INTO THE MATTER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.
