THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE ENGINE CRADLE, CROSS MEMBER, AND SUB FRAME SHOWED EXCESSIVE CORROSION. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE AND SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN. SUNNYSIDE MITSUBISHI (7630 PEARL RD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH 44130, (440) 243-7711) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000. *TT CONSUMER STATED LOSS OF STEERING HAD TO BE REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY.*JB

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000. *TT
TOOK CAR IN FOR SAFETY RECALL FOUND OUT THAT MY ENGINE CROSS MEMBER HAS BEEN RUSTING THERE IS A SAFETY RECALL ON THIS ISSUE BUT WAS NOT NOTIFIED DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE 970.00 TO REPLACE THIS IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY IT'S MITSUBISHI S SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED BEFORE THE RUST AND SEALED COATED PLEASE GET BACK ON THIS ISSUE COULD HAVE LEAD TO MY STEERING FAILURE AND POSSIBLY A FATALITY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY
