THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WOULD NOT DISENGAGE, CAUSING THE DRIVER TO CRASH INTO A PARKED VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BACK PAIN AFTER THE CRASH. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
