THE DASHBOARD IS MELTING WHEN IT REACHES A CERTAIN HIGH TEMPERATURE. THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 80 DEGREES FARENHEIT.
MY SPRINGS ON BOTH REAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER BROKE INTO PIECES AND POPPED MY TIRES WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THERE WAS NO WARNING I JUST HAD BRAKES AND INSPECTION DONE A FEW MONTHS AGO, AND LAST WEEK WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY MY TIRE BASICALLY BLEW APART, WHEN EXAMINING WE NOTICED THE SPRINGS HAD BROKEN AND RUBBED AGAINST THE TIRES CAUSING THEM TO POP. IM LUCKY I SLOWED DOWN IN TIME WE COULD'VE HAD A REALLY BAD ACCIDENT AND IM SO UPSET ABOUT IT.
THE DASHBOARD IS STARTING TO MELT. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST DIRTY, BUT IN FACT, WHEN I TRIED CLEANING IT, A STICKY GLUE TYPE SUBSTANCE CAME UP. THIS HAS BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD AS THE SHINY GLARE SHINES ON THE WINDSHIELD MAKING IT HARD TO SEE. I DID A BASIC SEARCH ON THE INTERNET TO FIND OUT THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE.
MY 2008 NISSAN ALTIMA COUPE 2.5S' DASHBOARD IS MELTING GIVING OFF TOXIC FUMES AND MAKING MY VISIBILITY TERRIBLE WHILE DRIVING BECAUSE THE MELTING/STICKY DASHBOARD REFLECTS INTO THE WINDSHIELD AND NISSAN REFUSES TO FIX IT FOR FREE. THE REFLECTION IN THE WINDSHIELD IS PARTICULARLY WORSE WHEN DRIVING TOWARDS THE SUN TO THE POINT WHERE I CANNOT SEE ANYTHING WHILE DRIVING. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE WITH THE DASHBOARD LIKE THAT BECAUSE I FIGURED THAT GOOEY GONE COULD FIX IT BUT IT DIDN'T. AGAIN NISSAN REFUSES TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND IT IS VERY DANGEROUS WHILE DRIVING.
PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SUSPENSION THE ENGINE OF THE VEHICLE SLOWS/STALLS WHEN DRIVEN IN HIGH HEAT WEATHER DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLOW/STALL.
DASHBOARD IS MELTING GIVING OFF A DANGEROUS GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD. ALSO THE GAS GAUGE IS DEFECTIVE ... DOES NOT SHOW THE ACTUAL AMOUNT OF GAS TANK ... NEEDLE FLUCTUATES FROM F, 1/2, E.
NOT A SINGLE EVENT... DASHBOARD HAS PROGRESSIVELY GOTTEN SOFTER/STICKIER OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. IT IS NOW CRACKED AND IS MELTING NEXT TO THE WINDSHIELD. IT HAS OFF-GASSED AN UNREMOVABLE FILM ON THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE GLASS, AND THE CAR HAS SUCH A NOXIOUS SMELL FROM THE FUMES WE NO LONGER FEEL IT'S HEALTHY TO DRIVE WITHOUT THE WINDOWS DOWN. *TR
THE DASHBOARD OF VEHICLE HAS DEVELOPED A SHINE TO IT THAT REFLECTS ONTO THE WINDSHIELD WHEN DRIVING IN SUN LIGHT OBSTRUCTING VISION OF ROAD. THE DASH ALSO FEELS LIKE IT HAS BECOME STICKY AND SOFT LIKE IT IS MELTING.
MY HUSBAND WAS JUST IN HIS FIRST WRECK THIS PAST WEEK OR SO IN OUR NISSAN ALTIMA 2008 2.5 S, AND PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT WE HAD NOTICED OUR PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT HAD CAME ON OUT OF NO WHERE.*DT WELL, IT DIDN'T DEPLOY WHEN HE GOT INTO THE ACCIDENT. EVERY OTHER AIR BAG EXCEPT THE PASSENGER ONE DEPLOYED. EVEN THE ONES IN OUR SEATBELT AREA DIDN'T DEPLOY ALL THE WAY. THE WRECK HAPPENED ON A HIGHWAY. THE MAN MY HUSBAND REAR ENDED WAS YIELDING TO TURN LEFT. MY HUSBAND WAS GOING 35-40MPH.*JB
PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. CAR WILL BE IN MOTION ON HIGHWAY FLAT LAND/UPHILL/DOWNHILL ANY LAND AND MY CAR WILL INTERMITTENTLY LOOSE POWER ITS A 2008 ALTIMA 2.5S I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STOP MY CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY IN A DEADLY AND HEAVILY USED CANYON WITH NOT MANY PLACES AVAILABLE TO PULL YOUR CAR OVER. IF THERE IS IT'S VERY TIGHT. WHEN I PULL OVER I SHUT IT OFF FOR ABOUT A MINUTE OR TWO THEN I START IT BACK UP WHILE IN PARK I GENTLY PRESS THE GAS TO ACCELERATE IT A LITTLE AND NOTHING HAPPENS. THE RPM STICK WONT MOVE. I HAVE BEEN COMING DOWN AN OFF RAMP ONTO THE FREEWAY AND I WONT BE ABLE TO ACCELERATE IN ORDER GAIN A SAFE AND LEGAL SPEED TO ENTER ON A HEAVILY TRAFFICKED HIGHWAY WITH NO WHERE TO PULL OVER, ALMOST CAUSED A HUGE DEADLY ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS HOWEVER THE CAR RPM STICK WENT UP AND DOWN THE CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO ACCELERATE AFTER A FEW "ATTEMPTS" FROM THE ENGINE IT WENT FROM ME FEELING THE CAR ALMOST FORCEFUL ENGINE SHUT OFF WITH THE LOSE OF ACCELERATING AND UNABLE TO ACCELERATE AND HEARING THE CAR ALMOST DIE AND WENT FROM ME DECELERATING HARD AT 40 MPH ON A SLIGHT DOWNHILL OFF RAMP FREEWAY AT 40 MPH TO ALL OF A SUDDEN TAKING OFF AS IF THE CAR WAS A ROCKET AND DIDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MAINTAINING SPEED. THIS HAS HAPPENED 9 TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED AND HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY. THE CAR WILL NOT TYPICALLY HAVE THIS ISSUE IF I MAKE A SHORT IN TOWN TRIP OR A FEW ERRANDS IN TOWN NO FASTER THAN 30MPH SPEEDS AND NO HARD IT FAST ACCELERATION ON FLAT LAND. I LOST THE PAPERWORK FROM THE AUTOMOTIVE SHOP HOWEVER CAN EASILY OBTAIN IT SHOWING THAT THE CAR NEEDS A NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPAIR COSTING AROUND 1300. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINS ON EVEN AFTER BEING CLEARED WILL THROW THE SAME P024 ERROR CODE. I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR BOUGHT AND AM UNABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE IT WITHOUT A DEADLY OUTCOME.
TRANSMISSION REVS OUT AND SLOW TO ACCELERATE
REFLECTIVE DASHBOARD THAT IS MELTING FROM THE SUNLIGHT CAUSING IT TO BE VERY STICKY, GUMMY, & SHINY. CAUSING A BLINDING GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD & EFFECTING MY VISIBILITY TO SEE WHERE I'M DRIVING & I CAN NOT SEE OTHER PERSONS OR VEHICLES. IT A SAFETY HAZARD TO ME OTHER PEOPLE I MEET IN THE ROAD & ALSO A HEALTH HAZARD TO ME FROM HAVING TO BREATH, INHALE THE TOXIC CHEMICALS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF THE MATERIAL OF THE DASHBOARD. I bought this used from a private owner, on consignment at a used car lot Pinellas County FL May 2020. The previous owner installed a dashboard mat to cover up the melting, cracking dashboard, after 5 years of ownership, the dashboard is in serious degraded condition worse when I purchased it. I was unaware of the class action lawsuit 2017 over the safety concerns. Obvious resale value will be an issue as well. I continue to maintain this vehicle with 176,000 miles. I wanted to add my vehicle to the NHTSA complaint against Nissan for this issue and the loss of value upon resale. That would be great if NHTSA gets Nissan to issue nation wide recall, but given Nissan dire financial issues, it's unlikely they will recall for this issue

MY CAR HAS A SLOW TAKE OFF AND IT TAKES A WHILE TO DRIVE PROPERLY LIKE IT HAS TO WARM UP . DASHBOARD IS MELTING CAUSING A SAFETY ISSUE. GLARE MAKES IT HARD TO SEE WHEN DRIVING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Altima. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 08V521000 (Air Bags). The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer for maintenance and was informed that the Vin was not included in the recall. The contact then stated that the passenger air bag off warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
I OWN A 2008 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE DASHBOARD BEGAN MELTING ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO HOWEVER RECENTLY IT STARTED TO MELT MORE AND BECOME STICKY TO THE TOUCH. EVERY TIME I DRIVE MY VEHICLE, THE GLARE THAT SHINES ONTO MY WINDSHIELD FROM THE DASHBOARD IS TERRIBLE, SO BAD THAT IT IS HARD TO SEE AT TIMES. IT HAS CAUSED ME TO HAVE TROUBLE IDENTIFYING THINGS WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND THEY WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE AND WILL CHARGE $2500 FOR A NEW DASHBOARD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2008 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE AND WHILE ATTEMPTING TO EXIT THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO UNLOCK THE DOORS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE WAS INFORMED BY A SIBLING THAT THE DOOR ACTUATOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE FOR AN HOUR. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY THAT THERE WAS A GRAVE RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH THE CONTACT STATED THAT A FAMILY MEMBER WAS CALLED AND WAS ABLE TO COME OUT, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND THEN UNLOCK THE DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. A CASE WAS FILED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
WE WERE DRIVING ON I-695 IN BALTIMORE AREA WHEN I STARTED TO NOTICE THAT WHILE PRESSING ACCELERATION PADDLE, THE CAR WAS NOT MOVING FORWARD. IT STARTED TO STALL AND EVENTUALLY STOPPED COMPLETELY. LUCKILY, I WAS ABLE TO PULL IT TO THE CURBSIDE BEFORE A COLLISION MAY HAVE OCCURRED. BUT SOMEONE WITH LESS DRIVING CAPABILITIES MAY HAVE ENDED UP IN AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THE CAR STALLING WITHOUT ANY WARNING. LATER ON I FOUND OUT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NISSAN DIDN'T CARE AT ALL WHEN I CONTACTED THEM. I GOT TRANSMISSION REPLACED MYSELF. I THOUGHT I SHOULD SPEAK OUT ABOUT THIS BECAUSE A TRANSMISSION STALLING A VEHICLE AT NEARLY 65 MPH IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSES.

The dashboard of the car melted that causes a very bright glare.
MY CAR HAS A STICKY,CLEAR SUBSTANCE ALL OVER IT FROM WHERE THE VENTS ARE TO THE WINDSHIELD. IT IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE IT CAUSES A GLARE AND WHEN THE SUN IS OUT ESPECIALLY IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO SEE. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET IT OFF AND NOTHING IS WORKING. I DIDN'T SPILL ANYTHING ON IT EITHER FOR IT TO BE THIS WAY. IT JUST STARTED HAPPENING.
OUR 2008 NISSAN ALTIMA DASHBOARD HAS MELTED LEAVING IT STICKY AND SHINY CAUSING DISTRACTING AND GLARING REFLECTIONS OFF THEIR WINDSHIELDS. I'LL TAKING IT TO DEALERSHIP TWICE ABOUT DASHBOARD BUT THEY STATED THEY WAS UNAWARE OF ANY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE DASHBOARD. THE SECOND TIME I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE MULTIPLE LAWSUITS I FOUND ON-LINE AND THEY DIRECTED MY TO NISSAN CONSUME DEPARTMENT. NISSAN TOLD ME THE UNIT WAS OUT WARRANTY AND WILL NOT ASSIST.
WHILE DRIVING ON I95 THE CAR SHUT OFF AND WAS STEERED VERY DIFFICULTLY TO THE OFF RAMP AND THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. SMOKE STARTED TO COME OUT OF THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND I EXITED THE CAR AND THE CAR PROCEEDED TO BE ENGULFED IN FLAMES BURNING THE FRONT HALF OF THE CAR TO THE FRONT SEATS. FIRE RESCUE ARRIVED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE.1116

An incident has not occurred yet, thankfully. The dashboard in my 2008 Nissan Altima is melting and causes a glare on the dash and a horrible smell in my car. This is a safety concern not only for myself but for everyone. When the sun hits the dash and causes a glare, the glare can impair my vision on the road. I had a close call and do not want another close call.
PASSENGER AIRBAG SEAT SENSOR FREQUENTLY DOES NOT RECOGNIZE IF A PASSENGER IS IN THE FRONT SEAT. DOESN'T MATTER IF THE CAR IS MOVING OR NOT. WAS TOLD THIS WAS A RECALL AND THAT IT WAS REPAIRED ON MY VEHICLE, BUT IT CLEARLY HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. DASHBOARD IS STICKY AND MELTED TO THE POINT THAT WHEN IT'S BEING DRIVEN IT REFLECTS UP ONTO THE WINDSHIELD MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE.
VISIBILITY IS NOT CLEAR DUE TO THE "STICKY" DASH BEING REFLECTIVE ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. WHEN IT'S SUNNY OUTSIDE IT'S EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO SEE OUT OF THE WINDSHIELD. WIPING THE DASH WITH CLEANER ONLY MAKES IT WORSE. WEARING SUNGLASSES DOES NOT HELP EITHER.
THE VISIBILITY IS DIFFICULT BECAUSE OF THE MELTED -STICKY DASHBOARD. THE GLARE BLINDS YOU WHEN THE SUN HITS YOU. THERE IS NO REASON THE DASHBOARD SHOULD JUST "MELT"
THE DASHBOARD AREA ON THE CAR IS COMPLETELY BREAKING DOWN AND MELTING. THIS MELTING HAS CREATED A VERY DANGEROUS SHINE AND REFLECTION ON THE FRONT WINDSHIELD (ALONG WITH AN ODOR). ITS BECOME SO BAD THEN ON MANY DAYS ITS DIFFICULT TO SEE THE CAR OR OBJECTS IN FRONT OF YOU OR YOU SIMPLY CANNOT SEE ALMOST CAUSING ACCIDENTS. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND CLEARLY A MANUFACTURE DEFECT THAT HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED AND IN SOME STATES WAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. IT NEEDS TO BE A NATIONAL RECALL! SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT AND THE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE THAT PROVES THIS IS A BLATANT PROBLEM. IT IS THE VEHICLE SAFETY AUTHORITIES RESPONSIBILITY TO FORCE A REMEDY FOR THIS ISSUE BEFORE AN INNOCENT INDIVIDUAL IS KILLED. NISSANUSA HAS REFUSED TO REMEDY OR ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS EXPENSIVE ISSUE WHEN CONTACTED. LIVES ARE AT RISK! THE CONSUMER IS BEING IGNORED. MY CAR IS PREDOMINATE GARAGE KEPT WITH UNDER 100K ON IT, THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE IMMEDIATELY. CLEARLY BUSINESS INTERESTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN CONSUMER SAFETY.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN A DIRT ROAD AND MY CAR DIED I TRIED TO START IT BACK UP BUT IT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING I CAN'T TURN ON ANY LIGHTS UNLOCK OR LOCK THE CAR NOTHING. SHOWS A LIGHT ON THE DASH THAT LOOKS LIKE THE KEY FOB AND LOOKED IT UP AND IT SAYS THAT SOMETHING UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN CAN CAUSE THE ISSUES AND HAS A RECALL
WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEED, MY SUNROOF EXPLODED. IT WAS CLOSED AT THE TIME, AND FORTUNATELY SUN SHADE CLOSED SO GLASS DID NOT FALL IN ON ME. READING MANY OTHERS WITH NISSAN CARS DEALIGN WITH THIS. NO CARS IN FRONT OF ME, SO NOT DEBRIS HITTING COULD HAVE CAUSED.

THE CONTACT CALLED NISSAN SOUTH AT 678-619-3104 (LOCATED AT 6889 JONESBORO RD, MORROW, GA 30260) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THEY COULD NOT ASSIST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 114,000.
THE FRONT DASHBOARD IS MELTING AND VERY STICKY TO THE TOUCH. A GLARE RESULTS ON THE WINDSHIELD DURING SUNNY DAYS, WHICH IS AN EXTREME HAZARD. I CAN'T SEE LARGE PORTIONS OF WHAT'S IN FRONT OF ME DUE TO THE GLARE. THIS ISSUE IS WELL DOCUMENTED ON THE WEB AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY NISSAN.
THE DASHBOARD IN THE CAR IS MELTING
THE DASHBOARD IS LITERALLY MELTING AND IT STARTED JUST 6 YRS INTO OWNING THE CAR. WHEN I CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND SHOWED THEM WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND HOW IT CAN AFFECT MY VISIBILITY DUE TO REFLECTION THEY ADVISED THAT WHAT THEY WERE SEEING IN THE PICTURES WAS DUE TO "ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE" AND THAT REPAIR WOULD NEED TO BE COVERED BY ME. HONESTLY, I FOUND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE CONSIDERING THE COMPANY HAS TWO EXISTING CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS AGAINST THEM IN OTHER STATES FOR THE SAME ISSUE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE, AND HAVE HEARD OF COMPETITORS WITH THE SAME ISSUE ACTUALLY DOING A RECALL ON THEIR VEHICLES. THIS COMPANY HOWEVER, DOES NOT SEEM LIKE IT WANTS TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR THEIR OWN POOR MANUFACTURING. SO IN THE MEAN TIME I COVER IT WITH FABRIC IN ORDER TO DIFFUSE THE PROBLEM IN THE MEAN TIME.
DASHBOARD IS MELTING, PRODUCING A BLINDING GLARE ON THE WINDSHIELD.
I HAD PICKED UP A NAIL IN MY TIRE ON MY WAY HOME THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT WHICH CAME OUT WHILE I WAS ON HIGHWAY 94 (TRAVELING AT THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT OF 65MPH) WHICH CAUSE MY VEHICLE TO VEER TO ON COMING TRAFFIC SO. I TRY TO CORRECT IT AND THE MY VEHICLE WASN'T RESPONDING LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BECAUSE OF THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SLIPPING AND WOULDN'T POWER OUT OF THE PULL FROM THE DEFLATED TIRE SO I HAD TO OVER CORRECT WHICH CAUSED ME TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE SENDING MY INTO A REVEAN AND THEN OVER A 5 WIRE FENCE SUBSEQUENTLY DAMAGING MY VEHICLE MORE THAN I WOULD'VE HAD THE TRANSMISSION BEEN OPERATING PROPERLY I HAD LESS THAN 100,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE WELL UNDER THE RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVAL NOT TO MENTION THAT I RECEIVED A CITATION FOR CARELESS DRIVING BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL MY VEHICLE. *TR
ON SATURDAY MORNING ON THE 8TH OF JUNE 2019, I WENT TO START MY CAR. AFTER I DID SO BOTH OF MY AIRBAG LIGHTS STAYED ON. EVEN WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE LIGHTS STAY ON UNTIL THE CAR IS TURNED OFF. I CALLED THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP OF SOUTH STRAND NISSAN IN MYRTLE BEACH, SC ON JUNE 10, 2019 AND THEY SAID THERE COULD BE MULTIPLE REASONS FOR THE ISSUES, THAT I NEEDED TO GO AND HAVE THE CAR LOOKED AT. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE AGENTS NAKLME, AND I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO HAVE THEM FIX A PROBLEM THAT I HONESTLY BELIEVE SHOULD NEVER BE AN ISSUE IF TH3Y AND THE NHTSA DID THEIR JOB RIGHT WITH QUALITY/SAFETY CONTROL.
DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND MY SUNROOF JUST SEEMED TO HAVE EXPLODED. WE JUST HEAD A LOUD POP AND SHATTERED GLASS. WE DID NOT SEE ANYTHING HIT IT AND THERE'S NO ROCKS OR ANYTHING YO BE FOUND
MELTING DASHBOARD. SHINY AND STICKY. VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT AS IT REFLECTS AND CAN DRASTICALLY INCREASE CHANCES OF AN ACCIDENT.
MELTING DASHBOARD, VERY STICKY, EVERYTHING STICKS TO IT AND THE TOP LAYER (VINYL?) THAT IS MELTING COMES UP WHEN SOMETHING STICKS TO IT AND IS REMOVED. THE DASH IS VERY SHINY, CAUSING EXTREME GLARE ON WINDSHIELD. GLARE VERY BAD, LOWERS VISIBILITY, DANGEROUS. THE HOTTER THE DAYS, THE STICKIER, MORE SHINY THIS GETS. MY CAR IS MAKING A BANGING NOISE WHEN ITS STARTED. MY MECHANIC DIAGNOSED AS THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. OTHER ALTIMA VIN#S HAVE BEEN RECALLED, WHY HASNT MINE?
