I HAVE A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE PASSENGER SEAT AIR BAG OCCUPANT SENSOR COMES ON SHOWING THAT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS TURNED OFF WHEN AN ADULT IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. THE ADULT IS 200 LBS. THE LIGHT WILL STAY ON WHILE DRIVING. MY CAR WAS RECALLED FOR THE OCCUPANT SENSOR CLASSIFICATION RESET. IT DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING. I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT NUMEROUS TIMES TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER SAYS THERE IS NO FIX FOR THIS AND NO CODES IN THE COMPUTER. IT SEEMS THAT IF THE PASSENGER SITS IN THE CAR, BUCKLES THE SEAT BELT BEFORE THE CAR IS STARTED THEN THE ISSUE HAPPENS LESS OFTEN, AS IF THE CAR ONLY CHECKS IF THE SEAT IS OCCUPIED ON STARTUP.
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG DISABLED LIGHT HAS COME ON TWICE IN TWO MONTHS WHILE MY WIFE (110 LBS.)WAS SEATED SQUARELY IN THE CENTER OF THE PASSENGER SEAT.. I NOTICE THIS RIGHT AFTER STARTING ON A DRIVE. MY WIFE MOVED AROUND IN THE SEAT TRYING TO GET IT TO RECOGNIZE HER PRESENCE WITH NO LUCK. IT RESET-TED BOTH TIMES AFTER STOPPING THE CAR AND HAVING HER EXIT AND REENTER. THIS VEHICLE HAD ALREADY HAD THIS ISSUE SERVICED UNDER THE PREVIOUS RECALL. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER LAST WEEK. THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM SO THEY SENT ME HOME WITHOUT MAKING ANY REPAIR. I HAVE VIDEO EVIDENCE PUT FORGOT TO GET IT OUT OF MY WIFES PHONE BEFORE SHE LEFT FOR JAPAN FOR AQ THREE WEEK TRIP. I WILL UPLOAD IT WHEN SHE RETURNS. THIS IS MY WIFES CAR SO I WILL PUT HER NAME ON THE CONTACT FORM.
MY PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY COMES ON WHEN AN ADULT IS SEATED IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. SOMETIMES IT COMES ON WHEN NO ONE IS SEATED. SOON AFTER THIS FIRST HAPPENED, I RECEIVED A RECALL, AND ON MAY 9, 2014, TOOK MY CAR TO THE NISSAN DEALER. IT WAS "REPROGRAMED" AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I TOOK IT BACK ON JUNE 6, 2014, AND THE REPORT SAYS "GENERAL MAINTENANCE". THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. I TOOK IT AGAIN ON NOV 14, 2014, AND THE "STRAIN GAUGE" WAS RESET . I WAS TOLD TO RETURN IF PROBLEM PERSISTED, WHICH IT DID (AND CONTINUES TO DO). VERY FRUSTRATED, I RETURNED JUNE 25, 2015. THE PROBLEM "CANNOT BE VERIFIED", SO NOTHING WAS DONE. I RETURNED AGAIN SEPT 8, 2015 AND WAS REALLY TRULY UPSET THAT THIS SERIOUS POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING PROBLEM IS STILL UNABLE TO BE ELIMINATED. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS A "DESIGN" PROBLEM AND CANNOT BE FIXED BY MECHANICS. I WAS TOLD ENGINEERS HAVE BEEN CALLED TO THE DEALERSHIP TO ADDRESS THIS SAME PROBLEM AND THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIX IT. I FIND IT HARD TO IMAGINE THAT NISSAN WANTS TO DUST THIS OFF. IT CANNOT BE FIXED? I IMAGINE THE NEXT TIME I GO IN THEY WILL POKE OUT THE LIGHT BULB, OR PERHAPS PUT BLACK TAPE OVER THE LIGHT SO IT WON'T "DISTURB" ME. SHOULD I JUST "NOT WORRY"? WHAT IS THE REMEDY, AND HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO DRIVE THE CARE WITH THE WORRY THAT THE AIR BAG WILL NOT OPERATE IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH? I FIND THIS INTOLERABLE.
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE SEPTEMBER 2015. I HAVE VISITED THE DEALER THREE TIMES (UNTIL END-JAN 2015) AND THERE IS NO RESOLUTION. I HAVE A METRO MILE TAG THAT TRANSMITS ME ERROR CODES AND AS PER THAT THE PROBLEM IS P0037 - HO2S HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW BANK 1 SENSOR 2 THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE IT AND IT IS A ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME GETTING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SO MANY TIMES.
Headlights are extremely Dull, making night time driving dangerous. Headlight projector reflector is defective in all 2013 Hologen Bulb headlight assembly's. Driving at night or on wet roads, vision is extremely impaired, a danger to driver and pedestrians. I have contacted the Dealership, and they have no knowledge of any recalls in progress.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 20 MPH AND COMING TO A STOP, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND THEN STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS REPROGRAMMED AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,800.
WHEN I WAS DRIVING MY 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA ON AUGUST 26, 2015 MY CAR LOST PRESSURE AND STARTED TO JERK, AFTER ALMOST BEING HIT BY OTHER DRIVERS, I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER AND CALL FOR HELP. I TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR AND IT STARTED UP AGAIN AND WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE IT SHUT OFF. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL REPORTS TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP AND NO HELP. FINALLY, AFTER EXPERIENCING THE HORRIBLE DEAL ON YESTERDAY, THE TECH CALL TO REPORT THAT HE TRIED TO CHECK THE CAR ON THE MACHINE AND ITS WASN'T GIVEN HIM A INDICATION OF ANYTHING BEING WRONG WITH THE CAR. HE FINALLY DROVE THE CAR AND IT STARTED ACTING UP ON HIM AND STOP AND HE SAW THAT IS WAS INDEED THE TRANSMISSION GONE BAD. WHAT IS SO SAD ABOUT THE SITUATION IS THAT I HAD BE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CAR A WEEK AFTER I BOUGHT IN. YOU COULD PARK ON A HILL AND THE CAR WILL VIBRATE REALLY HARD AND I WAS TOLD THIS WAS NORMAL. COMPLAINT AFTER COMPLAINT AFTER COMPLAINT. I AM REALLY TERRIFIED OUT MY HEAD TO DRIVE THIS CAR. I FEAR FOR MY LIFE AND MY CHILDREN. ALL I CAN THINK OF IS THE WHAT IF!
I HAD A BLOWOUT AND THIS WAS THE CLOSEST TIRE SHOP TO ME AT THE TIME. I ASKED AND WAS TOLD THAT THEIR USED TIRES ARE $30. OKAY, THAT'S FINE. THAT'S THE STANDARD RATE FOR USED TIRES. THE FIRST TIRE THEY TRIED TO SELL ME HAD TWO NAILS IN IT. THE GUY SHOWED ME THE TIRE BUT DIDN'T SHOW ME THE WHOLE TIRE UNTIL I ASKED TO SEE IT MYSELF. I POINTED OUT THE TWO NAILS THAT WERE OBVIOUS AND HE ACTED AS IF HE DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE ALREADY THERE. THE SECOND TIRE HAD LITTLE TO NO MEAT ON IT. I REFUSED THAT TIRE AND THEY TRIED TO OFFER THE TIRE FOR $28 INSTEAD OF $30. NO SALE. I WAS THEN TOLD THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYMORE TIRES MY SIZE. MIRACULOUSLY, THE OWNER/MANAGER FOUND ANOTHER TIRE WITH SUFFICIENT TREAD AND NO HOLES. HOWEVER, THE OWNER/MANAGER SAID THAT THIS TIRE WOULD COST $35 INSTEAD OF $30 BECAUSE "IT'S A GOOD TIRE." I TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS NEITHER SAFE OR RIGHT TO TRY TO CHARGE ME $30 FOR TWO BAD TIRES AND $35 FOR A GOOD TIRE. I SHOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT THE $35 TIRE, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO GO ELSEWHERE.
MY NISSAN ALTIMA 2013 HEADLIGHTS ARE SO POOR THAT I CANNOT DRIVE IT AT NIGHT. WHEN I HAVE TO DRIVE, I WILL EITHER FOLLOW A CAR IN FRONT OF ME CLOSELY AT NIGHT OR USE HIGH BEAMS. DEGRADATION STARTED TO GET WORSE BY 3 YEAR, I REPLACED WITH BETTER BULBS AND THEN WITH HIDS BUT STILL LIGHTING IS SO POOR THAT I ONLY USE THIS VEHICLE DURING DAY TIME.
LOST POWER TO THE DRIVETRAIN - CAR COASTED TO A STOP THIS HAPPENED JUST AS I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING LOT SO IT WAS FAR LESS DANGEROUS THAN IT COULD HAVE BEEN - NISSAN IS REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION
2013 NISSAN ALTIMA RECALL NOTICE MALFUNCTION HOOD RELEASE WHICH COULD CAUSE A COLLISION. WELL HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER ON AUGUST 9TH, WHO HAD MY PERMISSION TO DRIVE MY CAR SHE BY THE WAY IS 28. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THIS RECALL, HOWEVER MY FRIEND THAT LEASED THE SAME VEHICLE TWO MONTHS PRIOR AT THE SAME DEALERSHIP, WAS NOTIFIED. MY DAUGHTER WAS JUST GETTING ONTO THE EXPRESSWAY DOING APPROX. 20 MPH IF THAT WHEN THE HOOD OF MY VEHICLE "RELEASED" AND BLEW UP AGAINST THE WINDSHIELD TO WHERE SHE COULD NOT SEE AT ALL. LUCKILY GOD WAS WITH HER AND SHE WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SAFELY. MY VEHICLE IS STILL AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP AS OF TODAY, AUGUST 26TH, COLLISION SHOP STILL SITTING IN THE SAME SPOT THAT IT WAS TOWED TO. OVER 6,000.00 IN DAMAGES FOR A RECALL THAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND NISSAN SHOULD BE PRAYING AND FEELING BLESSED THAT THIS HORRIFIC ACCIDENT AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS HORRIFYING TO SEE THAT PEOPLE WERE NOT KILLED, SHAME ON NISSAN CORPORATION FOR ME NOT RECEIVING THE RECALL NOTICE, SHAME ON NISSAN FOR NOT FIGURING OUT WHEN MY CAR WAS IN FOR SERVICE THAT MY VIN NUMBER SHOWED NOTHING OR IT WAS IGNORED, RECALL NOTICES ARE CONNECTED AUTOMATICALLY TO ANY NUMBERS WHETHER CAR, APPLIANCE, CAR SEATS, ETC., COME ON WE ARE LIVING IN 2015. SHAME ON NISSAN THAT THIS IS NOT IMPORTANT TO THEM TO HELP ME. ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN AFTER SERVICE, WARRANTEE EXPIRES AND SAME CONDITION REQUIRES $400 SERVICE TO REPLACE AIR/FUEL SENSOR. DURING WARRANTEE IT ONLY REQUIRED REPROGRAMMING THE ECM
WHEN CROSSING AN INTERSECTION MY CAR STOPPED AND WOULD NOT GO FOR A FEW SECONDS. I WAS JUST FORTUNATE THERE WERE NO CARS COMING. IT'S HAS STOPPED LIKE THIS MANY TIMES I JUST HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. MY PREGNANT DAUGHTER WAS VERY UPSET WHEN IT HAPPENED TO HER ON AN OCCASION SHE WAS DRIVING IT. I'M ALSO EXTREMELY UNHAPPY ABOUT THE RUST IN MY WHEELS. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT A 2013 CAR HAS THIS HAPPENING. I HAD A 2007 MONTARO THAT HAD LESS RUST AROUND ITS TIRES BEFORE I TRADED IT FOR THIS CAR. I'M EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON INDICATING THAT THE AIRBAG IS DISABLED WHEN A PASSENGER IS IN THE FRONT SEAT.
DIM LOW BEAM (PROJECTOR LENS) BOUGHT THE VEHICLE NEW IN JULY OF 2013. THE LOW BEAMS FUNCTIONED NORMAL FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS THEN BECAME MORE AND MORE DIM. REPLACED THE LOW BEAM BULBS WITH BRIGHTER AFTERMARKET BULBS WHICH SEEMED TO ONLY MARGINALLY HELP. AS TIME WENT BY THE BRIGHTNESS STILL CONTINUED TO DIMINISH TO THE POINT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE AT NIGHT OR IN THE RAIN UNLESS KEPT ON HIGH BEAM. INTERNET RESEARCH REVEALED LITTLE UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN THE TOPIC ON A CAR FORUM REVEALED THAT THE PROJECTOR LENS COATING WAS DEFECTIVE AND IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY NISSAN WHICH THEY DENY. REPLACED BOTH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES MYSELF WITH AN AFTERMARKET BRAND AND LOW BEAM BRIGHTNESS HAS RETURNED. THE LOW BEAM ISSUE IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY NISSAN AND ADDRESSED ACCORDINGLY.
IF I'M DRIVING, WHEN I TRY TO STOP THE CAR, I PRESS THE BRAKES THE BRAKES DO NOT ACTIVATE. THE CAR DOES NOT STOP IT KEEP ROLLING ON. I HAVE TO PAT THE BRAKES TO STOP THE CAR OR PRESS THE BRAKE A SECOND TIME FOR THE BRAKES TO CATCH. IT FEELS AS THOUGH IT SLIPS PASS THE BRAKES! I ALSO TOOK MY CAR TO NISSAN FOR THE LATCH RECALL EVERY SINCE I GOT THE RECALL "FIXED" THE PASS AIR BAG LIGHT POPS ON WHEN NO IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND MY CAR WILL STATE THAT I HAVE 100 MILES (MORE OR LESS) OF FUEL BUT MY FUEL GAGE WILL READ EMPTY AND I WILL NEED GAS AS THE GAUGE STATES!
2 YEARS INTO OWNING A NISSAN ALTIMA SV THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS SUDDENLY WENT DIM. THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO THE NISSAN DEALER, NO LESS THAN 5 TIMES, WITH NO SOLUTIONS. MY HUSBAND HAS CHANGED THE BULBS MULTIPLE TIMES, WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. WE ARE FORCED TO DRIVE THE CAR WITH HIGHBEAMS ON FOR VISIBILITY. VISIBILITY IS LESS THAN 20 FT AT NIGHT, WORSE WITH RAIN OR FOG. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH 2013-2015. NISSAN NEEDS TO CORRECT HIS PROBLEM
WHEN SLOWING DOWN FOR TRAFFIC LIGHT, CAR STALLED. WOULD START BUT WOULD NOT MOVE. TRANSMISSION STALLED AND IT ROLLED BACKWARD ALTHOUGH I WAS IN DRIVE AND PUSHING ON GAS. TRANSMISSION FINALLY ENGAGED ONCE UP TO 4000 RPM AND CAR BEGAN TO MOVE, SLOWLY. VARIOUS CARS ALMOST REAR-ENDED ME AT DIFFERENT TIMES WHEN LIGHT WAS GREEN, I HAD FOOT OFF BRAKE, AND WAS TRYING TO MOVE FORWARD. THIS HAPPENED VARIOUS TIMES BEFORE THE TRANSMISSION ACTUALLY WENT OUT AT 62,500 MILES. HAD IT HOOKED UP TO COMPUTER AT NISSAN DEALER AND SHOWED NO DEFECT.
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AT APPROXIMATELY 5:30 AM AND TOOK EXIT 10B OFF OF I85 NORTH. WENT TO REACH DOWN TO GET MY COFFEE AND HIT THE GRASS WHICH IN TURN SLUNG ME INTO THE GUARD RAIL. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. THIS WRECK DONE 10,000 DOLLARS OF DAMAGE TO MY CAR. THE STEERING IS VERY TOUCHY. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. MY AIR BAG LIGHT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOES NOT WORK EITHER. I HAVE TAKEN THIS CAR IN BECAUSE IT DOES ACT RIGHT WHEN YOU ACCELERATE BUT I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. I HAVE ALSO TOOK IT IN FOR A LEAK AND THEY TOLD MY IT WASN'T LEAKING IT WAS A 2013 AND IT WAS TO NEW. BUT THERE IS A SPOT IN MY DRIVEWAY AND I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT PARKS THERE.
THE RED AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT GO OFF ON MY VEHICLE - THE EXACT SYMPTOM LISTED IN RECALL CAMPAIGN ID PC214. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT EVEN THOUGH MY CAR IS A 2013 AS INDICATED IN THE RECALL NOTICE THAT THE RECALL DOES NOT APPLY TO MY CAR BECAUSE THE VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED. MY CAR IS THE SAME YEAR, WITH THE SAME PROBLEM INDICATED IN THE RECALL AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY TO HAVE IT FIXED. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO NISSAN AND I AM WAITING TO HEAR BACK.
PLEASE LOOK INTO THE ISSUE OF 2013 ALTIMAS AND DIM HEADLIGHTS. NUMEROUS REPORTS ON THE INTERNET WITH PROOF OF THE ISSUE WHICH IS THE HOUSING REFLECTOR MATERIAL IS DEGRADING OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, RESULTING IN EXTREMELY DIM HEADLIGHTS TO THE POINT THAT THEY ARE UNSAFE.
I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE COMPLAINT OF THE CAR CONSTANTLY DRIFTING LEFT AND RIGHT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL THE HANDLING OF THE VEHICLE. IT OFTEN FEELS LIKE YOU ARE DRIVING ON THREE WHEELS AND THE STABILITY SHIFTS. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE CAR AS I DON'T HAVE FULL CONTROL ,NOR DO I LIKE HAVING MY SON IN THE VEHICLE AND TRY TO AVOID FREEWAYS BUT IT PRETTY MUCH DRIFTS AT ALL SPEEDS. I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE SERVICE MANAGER, SERVICE DIRECTOR, AND REGIONAL MANAGER AT NISSAN NORTH AMERICA BUT THEY CLAIM TO NOT BE ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE. HOWEVER, EVERY TIME I GET IN IT I FEEL VIBRATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WEIRD WHINING NOISES AS WELL AS THE DRIFTING AND BOUNCING ALL OVER THE ROADS. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED WHERE I'M TRYING TO SLOW DOWN AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE CAR SPEEDS UP AND WHEN TRYING TO SPEED UP THE CAR IS SLUGGISH. NISSAN REALLY NEEDS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP TO FIX THE ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE LOSES THEIR LIFE!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR A NEWER CAR THAT PEOPLE ARE STILL PAYING FOR!!
THE SECONDARY LATCH ON THE HOOD OF MY CAR FAILED - CAUSING MY HOOD TO FLY UP WHILE I WAS DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED RANDOMLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 18,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS WERE INADEQUATE FOR SAFE DRIVING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HI BEAM HEADLAMP WAS USED FOR NIGHTTIME DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PINE BELT NISSAN OF KEYPORT DEALER, (111 NJ-36, KEYPORT, NJ 07735) AND WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLAMP HOUSING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 53,839.
PURCHASED A 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA,07/2013 ON FEBRUARY 2014. THE FORUM'S L VIEWED, STATED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH 2013-2018. VISIT THE DEALER TODAY FOR RECALLS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT ISSUE IS NOT COVER BY WARRANTY.
1) THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE ENTIRELY INADEQUATE TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT LIGHTING INTENSITY AND DISTANCE. THE LIGHTS BARELY ILLUMINATE ABOUT 2 CAR LENGTHS AHEAD, WHICH IS TOO SHORT A DISTANCE AT SPEEDS ABOVE 25-30MPH, MAKING HIGHWAY TRAVEL AT NIGHT VERY DANGEROUS. OBJECTS IN THE PATH OF TRAVEL AND ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ARE NOT VISIBLE IN TIME TO SAFELY RESPOND. STREET SIGNS AND TURNS ARE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY. NISSAN DEALER SAYS MY PROJECTOR LENS HAVE ON THEM WHICH CANNOT BE CLEANED. QUOTED $1000 TO REPLACE BOTH HEADLIGHTS. I DO NOT AGREE, UNITS ARE SEALED FROM FACTORY.

DIDN'T NOTE ANYTHING MAJOR WHILE DRIVING BUT WAS JUST AWFUL HAVING TO TAKE BACK THE VEHICLE WHEN I HAD JUST PICKED IT UP LITERALLY 2-3 DAYS BEFORE. THE DEALER KEPT MY VEHICLE THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS AND IT TOOK THEM 3 DAYS TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. I WAS FINALLY TOLD THAT I NEEDED A THROTTLE CHAMBER REPLACED. WAS NEVER TOLD WHAT THE PART WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR DOING AND WHY IT WASN'T FOUND WHEN THEY HAD IT PREVIOUSLY. STILL NOT 2 YEARS OF OWNING THE VEHICLE. PERSONALLY, TOO MANY ISSUES WITH MY 2013 ALTIMA VEHICLE IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS AND NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS KEEPS WASHING THEIR HANDS OF ANY DEFECT OR LEMON LAW. THESE THINGS WHICH I HAVE EXPERIENCED ARE NOT LITTLE OR MINOR BY NO MEANS AND HAVE ENDANGERED MYSELF AND MY FAMILY, ESPECIALLY THE INCIDENTS WITH THE ALTERNATOR AND THE MAS SENSOR. THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT DAY I RETRIEVED MY CAR FROM THE DEALER UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THE AIR FLOW SENSOR WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND IT WAS REPLACED. THE SYMPTOMS I WAS EXPERIENCING WAS A SHUTTERING OF THE CAR WHILE ACCELERATING. THE CAR WOULD JUST CUT OFF WHILE IN DRIVE OR WHEN THE GEAR CHANGED TO REVERSE. IT WOULD CUT ON, BUT AS SOON AS A GEAR CHANGED, IT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF. THE DEALER SAID IT WAS AN AIR FLOW SENSOR PROBLEM AND TWO OTHER CARS CAME IN THE SAME WEEK WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THAT WAS THE 1ST INCIDENT THREE WEEKS AGO. AS OF TODAY, MY CAR IS IN THE DEALER YET AGAIN ALTHOUGH IT ENCOUNTERED THE SAME SYMPTOMS MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY.
