LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2014 ALTIMA HAVE BECOME REALLY DIM TO SEE AT NIGHT. THE MECHANIC CHANGED THE LIGHT BULBS BUT THIS DID FIX THE PROBLEM. HE SAID THE PROJECTOR (LENS) MATERIAL INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY IS CORRODED AND THAT THE WHOLE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM SINCE IT AFFECTS VISIBILITY AT NIGHT, AND NISSAN SHOULD PROVIDE A REMEDY FOR THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AND THEN TURNED ON AGAIN, BUT WERE VERY DIM. THE FAILURE WAS A HAZARD BECAUSE THE CONTACT COULD NOT SEE THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT BULBS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
WHEN COMING TO A STOP SIGN OR A RED LIGHT THE CAR SHUTS DOW. AND THE CAR BUCKS WHEN YOU TRY TO START IT AGAIN. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS IT MAY OT MAY NOT START AGAIN. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS APPLIED, BUT THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN AND STOPPED. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SAN LEANDRO NISSAN (1152 MARINA BLVD, SAN LEANDRO, CA 94577, (510) 826-1462) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 37771869. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
THE LOW-BEAM HEAD LIGHTS ARE EXTREMELY DIM. I HAD THE BULBS REPLACED AND CLEANED THE FOG FROM THE CLEAR COVER, BUT THE LIGHTS ARE STILL DANGEROUSLY DIM. THIS APPARENTLY IS BECAUSE THE REFLECTIVE MATERIAL IN THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY HAS DETERIORATED.
ALTIMA AIRBAG RECALL MY ALTIMA IS UNDER THE YEAR THAT THE AIRBAGS WERE RECALLED, BUT MY SPECIFIC ALTIMA IS NOT RECALLED BUT IS SHOWING ALL THE SIGNS THAT THE RECALL STATES.
JERKS WHEN TURNING ON WON'T TURN ON INCONSISTENT BATTERY AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL FEEL JERKY AND HAS JERKED FORWARD AT STOP LIGHT WHEN MY FOOT WAS ON BRAKE PEDAL HAS JERKED IN REVERSE WHILE IN DRIVE AND VICE VERSA AMONGST OTHER CONCERNS. VERY INCONSISTENT WITH THIS VERY UNPREDICTABLE HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN SERVICED 2 TIMES UNDER WARRANTY AND PURCHASED FROM CERTIFIED PREOWNED NISSAN DEALERSHIP ETC DOCS CAN BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST
THE HEADLIGHTS ON BOTH SIDE BECOMES EXTREMELY DIM TO SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT, WHICH BECOMES HAZARDOUS. WENT TO NISSAN DEALER WHO TOLD THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM IN ALTIMA AND NO RECALL HAS BEEN ORDERED. THEY WERE NOT SURE OF SOLUTION BUT TOLD THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY WOULD NEED TO BE CHANGED. SEVERAL TIMES GOT BEEPED FROM INCOMING CARS AS THE HEADLIGHTS WERE SO DIM AS IF HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT TURNED ON. I FIRST NOTICED THIS ISSUE IN JULY OF 2019 AND THIS ISSUE HAS BECOME MORE EVIDENT ONCE MY DAUGHTER STARTED TO PRACTICE DRIVING USING THIS CAR.
HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OF THE VEHICLE IS EXTREMELY DIM. HIGH BEAM WORKS EXCEPTIONALLY BUT LOW BEAM SEEMS TO BE BURNED OUT. LIGHT BULBS HAVE BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES BUT THERE IS NO CHANGE IS VISIBILITY. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO AUTONATION NISSAN WHERE THEY CONCLUDED NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE HEADLAMPS. HEADLAMPS HAVE EVEN BEEN ADJUSTED IN THE DIRECTION THAT PROJECT, BUT STILL NO CHANGE IN VISIBILITY. HEADLAMP VISIBILITY BECAME DRASTICALLY DECREASED WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY
TRANSMISSION WILL GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN DYING AND REVIVING UP. SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM, BUT NO RECALLS. PER NISSAN NOW, THE TRANSMISSION IS DEAD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
AFTER DRIVING FOR A LITTLE WHILE THERE WOULD BE NO WARNING NO LIGHTS COME ON AND I WOULD COME TO A STOP AT A LIGHT, STOP SIGHT, OR TRAFFIC AND THEN WHEN I GO TO ACCELERATE AGAIN IT WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING FOR ABOUT 5-10SECONDS THEN WOULD EVENTUALLY TAKE OFF AT A HIGH RATE THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND THERE IS NO STOPPING IT IF A CAR IS COMING FROM ANOTHER DIRECTION IT COULD EASILY END UP IN A VERY BAD ACCIDENT AND THERE IS NO STOPPING IT
AIR BAG LIGT CAME ON DEALER SAY.S 2,000 TO FIX AND NOT COVERED
CAN NOT SEE AT NIGHT DUE TO VERY DIM HEADLIGHTS, HIGH BEAMS WORK FINE JUST NOT THE LOW BEAMS. HAVE REPLACED BULBS AND EVEN THE LOCAL DEALER CAN NOT FIGURE IT OUT. I CAN ONLY SEE WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT ABOUT 20 FEET IN FRONT OF ME WHICH IS DANGEROUS ON DARK RURAL AND INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS.
RIGHT REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM SNAPPED/FRACTURED CAUSING VEHICLE TO VEER OFF ROAD . COMPONENT REPLACED 6/2019.... CURRENTLY INSPECTING LEFT REAR LOWER CONTROL I FOUND IT HAS FRACTURED AS WELL. IT IS FRACTURED IN AN AREA WHERE THERE IS NO APPARENT DEGRADATION FROM RUST .... THE METAL IS ALL INTACT AND BRITTLE.
CAR SHUDDERS, IDLES UP AND DOWN, LOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING. WHEN ACCELERATING, THE TACHOMETER WILL RAISE TO 4500-5000 RPMS WITH NO REAL POWER SUPPLIED TO THE CAR, AND WILL ONLY SLOWLY ACCELERATE(SLIPPING?) TACHOMETER BOUNCES UP AND DOWN WITHIN 100RPM RANGE WHILE COASTING. MY CVT IS ABOUT TO FAIL.
MY HEADLIGHTS ON MY '14 NISSAN ALTIMA ARE VERY DIM, TO THE POINT THAT I AVOID DRIVING AT NIGHT OR IN THE RAIN BECAUSE I CANNOT SEE MORE THAN 5-10 FEET IN FRONT OF ME. I LIVE OFF OF A DARK ROAD WITH LIMITED LIGHTING, AND IS ALWAYS FEARFUL OF HITTING SOMETHING/ SOMEONE OR RUNNING OFF THE ROAD SO I'M FREQUENTLY DRIVING WITH MY BRIGHT LIGHTS ON JUST TO MAKE IT HOME SAFELY. THIS PROGRESSING DIMMING WORRIES ME BECAUSE I DRIVE OFTEN FOR WORK IN OCCASIONAL HIGH CONSTRUCTION AND NEWLY DEVELOPED AREAS WHERE EQUIPMENT MAY BE LEFT OUT IN POORLY LIT AREAS, LIKE CONES OR MACHINERY, THAT ARE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO SPOT FROM A SAFE DISTANCE. IF REFLECTORS ARE NOT PRESENT IN THE ROAD OR HIGHWAY, I HAVE DIFFICULTIES STAYING WITHIN MY LANE BECAUSE OF THE DIMMING HEADLIGHTS, RESULTING IN PLACING OTHER DRIVERS AND MYSELF IN DANGER. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP, WHICH I WAS EXPLAINED THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LIGHT BULB ITSELF, BUT A DEFECTIVE OR WORN PROJECTOR LENS WHICH WILL COST APPROXIMATELY $1000 TO REPLACE.
ACCELERATION ISSUES. SPORADICALLY THE CAR WILL DO NOTHING WHEN WE STEP ON THE ACCELERATOR. IT IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY AND WE ESSENTIALLY HAVE ZERO POWER TO MOVE. AFTER HOLDING THE ACCELERATOR DOWN FOR A NUMBER OF SECONDS THE CAR WILL THEN ABNORMALLY START TO ACCELERATE AND REV UP ON RPMS BUT WILL NOT ACCELERATE AS NORMAL. IT'S AS IF THE TRANSMISSION IS THOROUGHLY CONFUSED. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE CAR AND IT COULD NEVER GET OVER 60 MPH REGARDLESS OF HOW FAR I STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR. I HAVE VIDEO OF THE BEHAVIOR. THE ISSUE CONTINUES AT RANDOM TIMES AND WE FEEL INCREDIBLY UNSAFE WHEN WE ARE IN TRAFFIC BECAUSE THE CAR WILL IDLE FORWARD BUT DO NOTHING EVEN WHEN ACCERATOR IS DEPRESSED. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WITH VIDEO OF THE VEHICLES CRAZY BEHAVIOR; THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE COMPUTER SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. THEY TELL ME TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE UNTIL IT GETS WORSE. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE WE ARE AT RISK OF AN ACCIDENT WHEN YOU TRY TO ACCELERATE BUT THE CAR DOES NOTHING BUT IDLE FORWARD; IT CATCHES US OFF GUARD AND WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT IDLING INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC WHEN MAKING TURNS. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN WHO SAID THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN WATCHING THE VIDEO AND THAT THE COMPUTER INDICATES NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR. WE ARE INCREDIBLY WORRIED ABOUT DRIVING THIS CAR AND FEEL NISSAN IS COVERING UP AN ISSUE. IT WAS ADMITTED TO ME BY THE DEALER THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH MANY OF THEIR CVTS; IT IS EVIDENT IN CONSUMER INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET AS WELL. I GET THE IMPRESSION NISSAN HAS NO INTEREST IN THE SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY; STARTING WITH THE FACT THAT NEITHER THE DEALER NOR CONSUMER AFFAIRS HAS INTEREST IN WATCHING THE VIDEOS SHOWING THE VERY SERIOUS ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN THE RPM DIAL STARTED TO MOVE UP AND DOWN AND THE CAR STARTED TO SLIP GEARS. THE CAR WAS UNABLE TO GO INTO TOP GEAR, STRUGGLED TO GO UP HILLS, BEGAN SHIFTING GEARS ERRATICALLY, AND COULD NOT ACELERATE PAST 40 MILES PER HOUR. THE CAR FELT VERY HURKY JERKY AND THE RIDE WAS THE OPPPOSITE OF SMOOTH. THIS PERSISTED FOR OVER SEVERAL MILES. I GOT THE CAR TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP THE NEXT DAY. ACCORDING TO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT I AM INVOLVED IN THAT NISSAN LOST, ON JUNE 9, 2019, NISSAN WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX THIS ISSUE, BUT THEY ARE REFUSING TO MAKE AMENDS FOR THE ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION ON MY CAR. THE CASE IS CHRISTOPHER GANN ET AL. V. NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, CASE NUMBER 3:18-CV-00966, IN THE U.S. DISTRICT COURT FOR THE MIDDLE DISTRICT OF TENNESSEE. MY CAR IS AT THE ROCKLAND NISSAN DEALERSHIP RIGHT NOW AT 845 -358-6700 AND THEY WANT US TO PAY FOR THEM TO DIAGNOSE THE CAR BECAUSE THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY EVEN THOUGH ACCORDING TO THE LEGAL DEAL THEY MADE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO EXTEND OUR WARRANTY 24 MONTHS OR 24,000 MILES AND PAY FOR ANY SERVICING OF OUR TRANSMISSION. I HAVE A 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA THAT HAS 72,000 MILES ON IT. THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM I CAN BARELY SEE A FOOT IN FRONT OF ME. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS WITH LED AND IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. TRAVELING ON ANY ROAD I HAVE TO PUT MY BRIGHT LIGHTS ON JUST TO SEE. IT'S NOT SAFE TO DRIVE IT AT NIGHT AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PUT MY SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS IN JEOPARDY JUST BECAUSE NISSAN HAS A FLAWED SYSTEM THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE. IT'S SURELY SOMEONE'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE NISSAN PUT OUT A RECALL ON THESE HEADLIGHTS SO WE AS THE CAR OWNERS DON'T HAVE TO PAY $1,000 FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NISSAN'S FAULT. AS OF DECEMBER 2018, THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM RANKS 10TH IN THE CARCOMPLAINTS.COM RECENT PROBLEM TREND LIST. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. NISSAN NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. I AM BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE MAKE NISSAN ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS PROBLEM. THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF CONSUMERS COMPLAINS ALL OVER THE INTERNET AND THERE ARE OVER 96 COMPLAINTS ALONE ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT PERTAIN TO THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE FOR 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA'S FROM. CAR IN MOTION AT THE TIME WHEN IT STARTED JERKING, CAR WAS IN REVERSE TO GET OUT OF PARKING SPOT. STEPPED ON GAS PETAL CONTINUED ON THE ROAD, STARTED JERKING WORSE AS THE CAR TURNED ONTO EXIT. CAR PULLED OVER AND STOPPED.
MY AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON IN MY DASH. WENT TO MY LOCAL DEALER TO FIND OUT AN OLD CODE B0020-13 WAS DETECTED. THEY FOUND EVERYTHING TO BE FINE, SO THEY RESET THE CODE. THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME BACK ON TWO DAYS LATER, AND THE SAME CODE CAME ON AGAIN. THEY RECOMMENDED A REPLACEMENT OF THE SIDE AIR BAG MODULE UNDER THE DRIVER SEAT TO REPAIR THE CONCERN. THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $1600 FOR PARTS AND LABOR, AND WHAT'S WORSE, THE SOP PART IS ON BACK ORDER WITH NO ETA. SO I ASKED THE DEALER WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO, AND IF THE CAR IS SAFE TO DRIVE? HE SUGGESTED THAT I SHOULDN'T DRIVE THE CAR, BUT THE PART IS NOT READILY AVAILABLE ANY WHERE IN THE UNITED STATES? WHAT KIND OF GARBAGE IS THAT? THEY OFFERED ME NO SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM, AND I DON'T HAVE ANOTHER CAR TO DRIVE, AND THEY CAN'T EVEN TELL ME WHEN THE PART WILL BECOME AVAILABLE???? DOES THIS MEAN THAT THIS PROBLEM IS A PROBLEM ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY, BECAUSE WHY DON'T THEY HAVE THE PART AVAILABLE? THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE!!!! IF I WERE TO GET IN A ACCIDENT, THEN THE SIDE AIR BAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY!!
AIRBAG LIGHT FOR PASSAGES SEAT BELT IS ON. I HAD ONE OF THEM REPAIRED BEFORE. WHAT DO I DO NOW?
DESPITE REPLACING THE BULBS AND EVEN TRYING HID LIGHT BULBS FOR THE CAR, IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT DUE TO THE HEADLIGHTS BEING SO DIM. YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO DRIVE WITH YOUR BRIGHT LIGHTS (HIGH BEAMS) ON IN ORDER TO SEE MORE THAN A FEW FEET AHEAD OF YOU AS YOU DRIVE. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND POSES RISK NOT ONLY TO THE DRIVER BECAUSE THEY CAN'T SEE WITHOUT DRIVING WITH HIGH BEAMS ON, BUT ALSO TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC BEING SUBJECTED TO BLINDING LIGHTS IN THEIR EYES.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE TOO DIM. ITS A SAFETY ISSUE AT NIGHT.
TAKARA RECALL - THE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS IN MY ALTIMA ARE DANGEROUSLY DIM, AND I WAS TOLD IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY BULBS. I WAS TOLD BY NISSAN IT'S A WIRING ISSUE BUT ONLINE IT STATES "THE MATERIAL INSIDE THE PROJECTOR BOWL WEAR DOWN, BURN OFF, OR SCUFF UP, THE PROJECTOR LENS DOESN'T RECEIVE AS MUCH LIGHT TO, WELL PROJECT".
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS HAVE DETERIORATED TO THE POINT THE CAR CANNOT E DRIVEN AT NIGHT. THE BULBS WERE REPLACED TWICE WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. ADJUSTING THE BULBS ALSO DID NOT IMPROVE THE ILLUMINATION. THE CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT AND THE CAR HAS BEEN PARKED FOR THE LAST FOUR WEEKS. IT'S OBVIOUSLY AN ENGINEERING FLAW THE CONSUMER SHOULD NOT PAY FOR. YOU CAN'T VALUE ENGINEER SAFETY. I CONTACTED NISSAN TO SEE IF THEY WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES. IN CLOSING THE TURN SIGNAL BULBS PRODUCE MORE LIGHT THAN THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE LEARNED OF A FILM LIKE SUBSTANCE CLOUDING THE HEADLIGHTS OF SIMILAR VEHICLES CAUSING THE LUMINESCENCE OF THE HEADLIGHTS TO BE SEVERELY DIMINISHED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CENTRAL NISSAN (2907 E PARKER RD, JONESBORO, AR 72404, (870) 268-5454) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000. *BF *AS
WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAG LIGHTS CAME ON. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT MOVING. WE TURNED IT ON IN THE MORNING AND IT CAME UP. WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS AT FIRST UNTIL MY HUSBAND FRIEND INFORMED IT THAT IT WAS THE AIR BAG ABOUT 2 DAYS LATER WHEN HE SENT HIM A PICTURE.
JUNE 2019, VEHICLE STARTED TO JUDDER, SHAKE AND STALLED OUT AT RED LIGHT. PUT THE CAR IN PARK, RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, PUT IT INTO DRIVE AND IT STALLED AGAIN. THIS HAPPENED 3 MORE TIMES UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE. APPROACHING ANOTHER SET OF LIGHTS, VEHICLE SLOWING DOWN AND THE JUDDER AND SHAKING BEGAN, I DID NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP SO THE CAR DID NOT STALL. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE HOME. I THEN LET THE CAR SIT FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE I DROVE IT AGAIN AND WHEN I TEST DROVE IT AFTER THOSE 2 DAYS, THE CAR SEEMED TO BE BETTER, IT DID NOT STALL OUT. IT DID SHAKE A LITTLE AND JUDDER. NO PROBLEMS LIKE THAT OCCURRED UNTIL 3/9/2020. APPROACHING A RED LIGHT, CAR JUDDERS, STARTED SHAKING AND STALLED OUT. I THEN PUT THE CAR INTO PARK, RESTARTED, FROM PARK TO DRIVE, IT STALLED. I REPEATED THIS PROCESS FOR 5 MINUTES. I HAD TO GET OUT OF THE CAR AND PHYSICALLY PUSH THE CAR OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. 3/10/2020 DROVE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. SAME THING HAPPENED IN THE VEHICLE ON MY WAY THERE. JUDDERING, SHAKING AND STALLING. I WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN AND MAKE SURE I DID NOT LET THE VEHICLE COME TO A COMPLETE STOP BECAUSE IT WOULD STALL OUT. I WENT ON THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE THAT WAS THE EASIEST ROUTE. THE ENTIRE TIME THE CAR WAS SHAKING AND I WAS GOING 60MPH, WHICH WAS 5MPH UNDER SPEED LIMIT. PARKED THE CAR AT THE DEALERSHIP. EXPLAINED TO THE TECHNICIANS WHAT WAS WRONG, ONE OF THE TECHNICIANS TOOK MY VEHICLE FROM WHERE I PARKED AND BROUGHT IT INTO THE GARAGE. HE CONFIRMED MY CAR WAS JUDDERING, SHAKING AND STALLED. THEY NOTIFIED ME THE CAR WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE LOOKED AT POSSIBLY UNTIL 3/16. MY CAR SAT THERE FOR A FEW DAYS, LIKE IT DID BACK IN 2019 WHEN THIS FIRST OCCURRED. UPON FURTHER REVIEW OF THE DIAGNOSTICS TEST, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE STALLING, JUDDERING AND SHAKING. SO THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE CVT TRANSMISSION INSTEAD THEY REPLACED THE VALVE PIPE

STEERING WHEEL VIBRATION IT'S GETTING WORSE EVERY DAY PLUS WHEN I TURN THE WHEEL TO THE LEFT IT DOES MAKE A GRINDING SOUND
THE HEADLIGHTS OF THE NISSAN ALTIMA 2014 ARE TOO DIM FOR SAFE DRIVING AFTER DARK. THE LOW BEAMS, ON REGULAR SETTING, BARELY SHINE IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND PROVIDE LITTLE TO NO LIGHTING FOR THE SURROUNDING ROADWAYS. THE PERIPHERAL VIEW OF THE ROAD AND/OR MEDIANS, WHILE DRIVING, IS OBSOLETE. WHILE DRIVING THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT, I AM FORCED TO TURN ON THE HIGH BEAMS IN ORDER TO SEE A FEW FEET IN FRONT OF ME. ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION, I HAVE COMPLETELY MISSED A CAR DRIVING ON EITHER SIDE OF ME, BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. EVEN AFTER REPLACING BOTH BULBS, THE LACK OF LIGHTING IS EVIDENT. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AT NIGHT, WHEN I DO NOT HAVE THE HELP OF THE CITY STREET LIGHTS. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS PROBLEM WITH NISSAN ALTIMAS AND IT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE FOR 2013-2015 ALTIMAS. AFTER SPEAKING WITH A MECHANIC, IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THIS ISSUE IS RAMPANT AMONG ALTIMA OWNERS. REPLACING THE BULBS FOR THE HEADLIGHTS DOES LITTLE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE, AND THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS $1,000 WORTH OF WORK TO IMPROVE THE PROBLEM. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS WHO OWN THIS CAR. INADEQUATE LIGHTING, WHICH IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT IN THIS CASE, IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD FOR THE DRIVERS OF THESE VEHICLES NOT TO MENTION EVERYONE WHO SHARES THE ROAD WITH THEM.
The lights are horrible on a Nissan Altima 2014. I have changed the bulbs 3 different times and it does not help. I am forced to drive with my bright lights on just to be able to see. This is a huge safety hazard because I am not able to drive without them on bright so it blinds the other drivers but I have no choice.

VEHICLE SHUDDERS WHEN COMING TO A STOP, THEN SHUTS DOWN. ON OCCASION WILL NOT RE ENGAGE INTO GEAR WITHOUT SHUTTING DOWN AND THEN MUST BE TOWED( TWICE HAS DIED IN THE MIDDLE LANE OF A ROAD, NEEDING TO BE TOWED). GENERALLY OCCURS WHEN SLOWING DOWN BUT HAS ALSO HAPPENED WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. NISSAN DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THERE ARE NO KNOWN ISSUES WITH THESE TRANSMISSIONS AND ARE UNABLE TO REPLICATE ISSUE.
SUDDENLY 3 OF THE 4 DOORS WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE, CAUSING AN UNSAFE SITUATION THAT 3 PEOPLE CAN NOT EXIT THE VEHICLE IN THE CASE OF A COLLISION OR VEHICLE FIRE!
THE CAR STALLED AND SHUT ITSELF DOWN WHEN STOPPED AT RED SIGNAL LIGHT. CAR WAS ABLE TO START BUT KEPT STALLING AND SHUTTING ITSELF DOWN AS SOON AS THE CAR WAS PUT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE OR DRIVE SPORT.
AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON WHEN CAR IS TURNED ON. MY DAUGHTER SAYS THE HOOD OF THE CAR IS VIBRATING WHEN DRIVING!

MY 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM AND I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH BRIGHTS ON JUST TO SEE AT NIGHT. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY CONCERN. I HAVE REPLACED THE BULBS TWICE WITH LED AND HID AND THEY HAVE NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM.

The airbag light is always on. When the car is taken to a dealer for inspection, they said that the sensor under the seat is not working properly. We worry that the airbag may not deploy during an accident because the seat cannot sense the people sitting on it. It is definitely dangerous The problem has been identified by a Nissan dealer. The vehicle was inspected by the manufacturer. The airbag light stays on, even after the dealer clearing the code. It seems a lot of Nissan Altima have a similar problem.
