I was driving along on the freeway after replacing the rear control arms as those were rusted out as well and the driver side wheel started wobbling so I pulled over with the family in it to look, and the bearing had come loose after fixing the bearing at a shop nearby driving down the road. It still felt like it was wobbling brought it into the shop looked underneath, and the subframe is actually cracked, though it states that this recall had been complete completed.
We just keep having endless safety issues. We would be on freeway and all of a sudden it would stop while driving on Freeway!and car going really fast,and almost hitting us my whole family terrified..once in a heavey under pass where supper busy of big rigs almost hitting us one of the most terrifying things you can feel of almost being hit,and this vehicle is super heavey,and cannot push by my self with back injury and my wife with really bad Heart condion , at times it would only go 25 to 35 miles per hour.. my widows keep falling my lightingi I have done everything possible and replaced almost everything, then another problem we depend on what we have and need for our doctors appointment and sometimes don’t start and when it is turn off it dose this noise.. etc can you help me, I don’t have money to keep spending on this car moo put something is very wrong
This issue had been going on for years with my 2004 Nissan Armada. Driving down the freeway at approximately 70mph and the brake light comes on out of no where. When this happens there us no way to safe stop the vehicle because the brakes will not engage. There is this rattling and grinding sound that happens each time. The only way to safely continue is turn the truck off and back on. This needs to be corrected immediately before there is a fatal because of brake failure. Nissan refuse to research all the complaints.
The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Armada. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 10E019000 (Suspension) and 10V517000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall repairs; however, the dealer only completed the recall repair for 10V517000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that the collar weld of the vehicle was separating. The contact also stated while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle inadvertently stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a second dealer - Jim Bone Nissan (1275 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95404) who advised the contact that she would be responsible for the cost of the repair because the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 205,000.
As I was driving through the canyon at 55 mph I pressed on my brakes to begin to slow down for the construction zone coming up and they felt like air no pressure then there was a grinding sound like something was breaking underneath my vehicle as I let off my brakes the brake light came on and it sounded like a spring releasing under my vehicle. I attempted to use my brakes almost a dozen times attempting to stop with the same grinding and spring sound happening. Once I was finally able to come to a safe stop I turned my vehicle off and once I turned it back on the brake light was off and the pressure was back in my brakes
WHILE DRIVING APPLYING BRAKES AND WITHOUT WARING EXCEPT WHEN IT ANITIALLY HAPPENS BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND BRAKE PEDAL KICKBACK AND CANNOT STOP CAR WITH IN A TIMELY MANNER ALMOST CAUSING A REAR END COLLISION.FINALLY GET CAR STOPPED AND SHUTTING OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN EVERY THING IS NORMAL WITH BRAKING .HAD A CODE PULLED FOR A C1179.I KNOW OF TSB NTB06-040 BUT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SAFTEY RECALL

THE KFRAME TO MY NISSAN ARMADA HAD RUSTED OUT AND BENT THE REAR TIRES IN
TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH NEAR MY OFFRAMP WHEN BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH AGAIN. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS AND IT DOESN'T GET DRIVEN ON A REGULAR BASIS AS IT IS OUR 3RD VEHICLE. AS I APPROACHED THE RAMP WITH BRAKES EVEN LIGHTLY DEPRESSED THE BRAKES CHATTERED AND FELT WEEK. HAD TO STOP ON THE RAMP, SHUT THE ENGINE OFF AND RESTART SO I COULD CONTINUE. AT LEAST THIS TIME I KNEW WHAT TO DO TO MAKE GO AWAY AT LEAST TEMPORARILY. WE HAVE TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE WE HAVE PLENTY OF EXTRA SPACE IN FRONT OF US SO WE TIME TO REACT IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. I JUST HOPE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. ALSO HAD AN INCIDENT WHILE TOWING A SMALL UTILITY TRAILER EARLY IN 2020 WHEN IT HAPPENED AND IT WAS MUCH MORE EXTREME AND I WAS AFRAID I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STOP IT AT THE UPCOMING STOP SIGN. NISSAN NEEDS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS AND FIX IT AT THEIR COST. IF IT CAN BE REST BY JUST TURNING THE KEY OFF SOMEONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE THIS OUT. MY UNDERSTANDING FROM THE FORUMS I HAVE RED THAT THE DEALERS JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY TO REPLACE PARTS THAT DON'T FIX THE PROBLEM. THERE WAS EVEN ON WHO SAID THEY REPLACED ALMOST ALL BRAKE RELATED PARTS AND IT STILL DID IT.
THIS PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AT VARIOUS SPEEDS FROM 10MPH TO 70MPH.WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS AND FREEWAYS AND NEED TO COME TO A STOP THE BRAKE LIGHT, VDC OFF LIGHT, AND SLIP LIGHT CAME ON. WHEN BRAKES APPLIED, VERY LOUD GRINDING/CLUNKING METAL NOISE HAPPENED AND BRAKES WOULD NOT ENGAGE ONLY AT ABOUT 10% OF BRAKES WORKING IT SEEMS. I STOP TURN OFF THE CAR AND START IT BACK UP AND IT SEEMS TO RESET. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN AS I ALMOST GOT INTO NUMEROUS COLLISIONS BECAUSE OF THIS ABS BRAKE MALFUNCTION !! DOING RESEARCH ON THIS PROBLEM FROM OTHER ARMADA OWNERS FORUMS THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS QUIET FREQUENTLY. SOME OWNERS CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT ITS A FAULTY DELTA SENSOR IN THE BRAKE BOOSTER. NISSAN MUST RECALL THIS PROBLEM ASAP!!
After making a left turn I heard a loud popping sound from the rear of the vehicle so I continued driving at about 20mph. for about another 350 yds. While making a right turn into my apartment. I heard a loud clanked sound. I looked and saw that the upper control arm on the rear drivers side had broke apart due to rust. Luckily I was only pulling into my apartment. I was quite disturbed by this incident because I had just gotten off the interstate with my family in the vehicle with me..
VEHICLE ORIGINALLY SOLD IN RHODE ISLAND, UNDERNEATH IS CORRODED AND WELDING THAT IS HOLDING SPRING AND OR SHOCK SEEMS WEAK AND STEERING WHEEL TURNS BY ITSELF WHEN HIT A GROOVE OR COMING TO STOP ON CITY STREET. BEING IN CONTACT WITH OTHER ARMADA OWNERS, THERE SEEMS TO BE COMMON TROUBLE WITH CATALYCT CONVERTERS WITH CLOGGED SCREENS AND CRACKED EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, AND MULTIPLE MISFIRE WITH APPROX 8 OF 10 ARMADA OWNERS
IN THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS ON TWO OCCASIONS SINCE BEING PURCHASED IN JAN OF THIS YEAR (2020) THE BRAKES ON MY 2004 NISSAN PATHFINDER/ARMADA OFF-ROAD RWD HAVE OUT OF THE BLUE, ONCE AT HIGHWAY SPEED CHATTERED WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE AND FELT LIKE THEY WERE NOT AT 100%. THE NEXT TIME IT WAS ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET, HAD JUST LEFT A RESIDENCE A HALF BLOCK AWAY DOING UNDER 20 MPH AND IT FELT LIKE THE WHOLE FRONT SUSPENSION WAS FALLING OFF BECAUSE IT WAS CHATTERING SO BAD. DIDN'T EVEN HIT THE BRAKES HARD AND WAS AFRAID IT WASN'T GOING TO STOP AT THE STOP SIGN. IT CONTINUED TO DO IT EVERY TIME I DEPRESSED THE PEDDLE EVEN VERY LIGHTLY. I HAD TO PULL AROUND THE CORNER AND STOP TO CHECK IT OUT BUT COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING LOOSE OR WRONG. I STARTED OFF AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE JUST PULLING OVER AND STOPPING TO CALL A TOW TRUCK. IT DID NOT FEEL SAFE TO MAKE THE 20 MINUTE DRIVE HOME. ONCE IT WAS HOME IT WAS LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED. I READ SOME BLOGS THAT SUGGEST THAT THIS IS A WIDESPREAD ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE AND THEY SHOULD BE RECALLED AND FIXED FREE OF CHARGE. THEY SAY THERE IS A FIX (REPROGRAMMING THE COMPUTER OR SOMETHING). THE BLOGS SAY THAT THE DEALERS ARE CHARGING BIG BUCKS TO DO THE WORK. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH IMMEDIATELY. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT NISSAN HASN'T BEEN FORCED TO RECALL THESE VEHICLES BEFORE THIS SINCE IT IS WAY TOO COMMON ACCORDING THE BLOGS. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE PRIMARILY TO TRANSPORT OUR GRANDCHILDREN AND ARE NOW VERY HESITANT AS WELL AS THERE PARENTS ARE TO HAVE THEM RIDE IN THIS VEHICLE. THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN FULLY INSPECTED BY A MECHANIC AND NO MECHANICAL ISSUES ARE PRESENT. WE ARE THE SECOND OWNER AND IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL MAINTAINED. CAUSE: UNKNOWN. I AM LOOKING FOR A DEALER NOW TO SEE WHAT THEY WILL DO FOR US. *TR
THE VEHICLE WILL START HAVING ERRATIC RPMS, HESITATION TO ACCELERATE, ENGINE RPMS WILL NOT GO ABOVE 2000-2500 OR BELOW 1000-300 WITHOUT SEVERE HESITATION, THEN SOMETIMES IT WILL JUST COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING NO MATTER IF STOPPED AT A LIGHT OR DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEEDS. TOTAL LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL HAPPENS... NO BRAKES, POWER STEERING, NO ACCELERATION. EVERY LIGHT TURNS ON ON DASH AND IF YOUR DRIVING AT THE TIME YOU BETTER HOPE THAT YOU CAN QUICKLY THROW IT IN NEUTRAL, CRANK THE ENGINE AT LEAST 2-4 TIMES BEFORE IT'LL START UP, THEN KICK IT BACK IN DRIVE TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AGAIN SO YOU CAN PULL OVER SOMEWHERE SAFE BEFORE YOU GET INTO A SERIOUS WRECK. TAKING IT TO NISSAN WAS POINTLESS SINCE AFTER YOU GET THE ARMADA RESTARTED, IT DOESN'T RETAIN ANY CODES THAT THE DEALERSHIP CAN USE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM NOR CAN THE MECHANIC REPLICATE THE ISSUE ON TEST DRIVES. AT WHICH POINT I LOOK LIKE I'M THE CRAZY ONE, THEN THEY SEND ME OFF ON MY WAY WITH NO ANSWERS. THE ONLY OTHER PROBLEM THAT THE ARMADA HAD LONG BEFORE THIS PROBLEM, DURING IT, AND CURRENTLY IS A CRACKED EXHAUST MANIFOLD WHICH, TOO, IS APPARENTLY A VERY COMMON ISSUE THAT PLAGUES OTHER ARMADAS WHICH NISSAN REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE AS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM AND ISSUE A RECALL. THIS ISSUE IS HARD TO SUPPORT WITH PICS OR DOCUMENTS SINCE IT ALMOST ALWAYS OCCURS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION SO YOU'RE TOO OCCUPIED TRYING NOT TO KILL YOURSELF OR OTHERS ON THE ROAD AND WHEN YOU DO GO TO NISSAN THERE NO CODES TO PULL SINCE I GUESS THE VEHICLE ERASES IT AFTER THE COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER. FEELS LIKE I'M CHASING MY TAIL...
AFTER PURCHASING A 2004 NISSAN ARMADA. TOOK TO GET A ALIGNMENT AND HE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THE REAR SUBFRAME/CRADLE WAS SEVERELY RUSTED NEARLY IN TWO SO MUCH SO THAT THE SWAY BAR HAD RUSTED THROUGH COMPLETELY AND WAS JUST HANGING LOOSELY. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH WE HAVE SEEN MULTIPLE REPORTS OF THIS RECURRING ISSUE. *TR
SEVERAL TIMES WHEN DRIVING MY BRAKE LIGHT WILL COME ON ALONG THE BRAKE DOES NOT ENGAGE. WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE PEDAL YOU HEAR A LOUD GRINDING SOUND SIMILAR TO SPRINGS BEING EJECTED FROM THE CAR. IT DOES NOT SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE AT ALL AND THE GRINDING IS LOUD AND SEEMS TO BE DAMAGING INTERNAL PARTS. WHEN YOU TURN THE ENGINE OFF, AND RESTART IT THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY. I TOOK IT TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN FREMONT CA. THEY ADVISED TO CHANGE THE BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. WHICH I ELECTED TO DO AND COST ME A LOT OF MONEY. IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I CALLED THE NEXT DAY FOR THEY WERE CLOSED. THEY SAID THAT THEY DIDN'T SEE ANY ERRORS ON THEIR READER AND CANNOT REPLACE PARTS WHEN THERE ARE NOTHING SHOWING. I INSISTED TO TAKE IT IN AND THE MECHANIC SUGGESTED I CLEAN THE BATTERY OR GET A NEW BATTERY WHICH I DID. THE PROBLEM STOPED FOR A MONTH UNTIL IT HAPPENED AGAIN WHILE DRIVING 50MPH DOWN A WINDY ROAD. JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS HUGE MONSTROSITY FOR MY 3 CHILDREN; TODAY AS WE WERE DRIVING THE BRAKES COMPLETELY WENT OUT! 10% BRAKING POWER. NOW IM READING A 2016 CLASS ACTION AND A LAWSUIT WHERE A PERON WAS KILLED. THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSTS REGARDING THIS ISSUE. NISSAN NEEDS TO RECALL THIS BEFORE MORE PEOPLE ARE KILLED!
NOTE THAT THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED USED ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO WITHOUT ANY SERVICE HISTORY FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER. HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO CONFIRM NO OUTSTANDING RECALLS OPEN ON THE VIN. WHILE TRAVELING HOME (45MPH) I OBSERVED THE BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATE ON THE DASHBOARD AND NOTICED THE BRAKES WERE MALFUNCTIONING. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL THE ABS/BRAKES APPEARED TO MAKE GRINDING/METALLIC NOISES AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD VIBRATE AND GO TO THE FLOOR. I THOUGHT THAT A BRAKE LINE OR FLUID ISSUE MAY HAVE OCCURRED, BUT WHEN I STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND TURNED OFF THE IGNITION I DID NOT SEE ANY VISUAL ISSUES. THEN UPON RESTARTING THE VEHICLE THE ISSUE WAS NO LONGER PRESENT. WHEN I RESEARCHED THIS ISSUE I FOUND HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT NISSAN BRAKES HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES AND FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN NTB06-040.PDF REGARDING THE ISSUE. UPON USING A SCANTOOL TO READ THE VEHICLE CODES I WAS ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT DTC C1179 WAS PRESENT AND THAT THIS ISSUE WAS RELATED TO THE SERVICE BULLETIN. THE SERVICE BULLETIN INDICATES A SOFTWARE UPDATE ADDRESSES THE ISSUE. I CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THEY INDICATED NISSAN WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS I AM SEEING ONLINE (CLUBARMADA, NISSANHELP, ETC) REGAING THIS ISSUE AND FEEL THAT IF A SOFTWARE UPDATE IS NEEDED TO RESOLVE THAN THERE IS EITHER 1) A SOFTWARE BUG (WHICH NEEDS A RECALL) OR 2) A DEFECTIVE SENSOR (DELTA SENSOR) THAT THE SOFTWARE UPDATE CHOOSES TO IGNORE OR DIMINISH. EITHER WAY A RANDOM BRAKE MALFUNCTION THAT CAN "FIX" ITSELF UPON REBOOT (RESTARTING THE VEHICLE) SEEMS SUSPICIOUS AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.
MY CATS ARE GOING BAD AFTER I JUST SPENT $600 TO GET A WHOLE NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM! THE CAR CHOKES UP WHEN I ACCELERATE AND ALMOST FEELS LIKE IT WILL LOSE POWER. I ALSO HAVE A CODE COMING UP FOR P0430
DRIVING ON A VERY BUSY HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS OF 60 MPH WITH GAUGE READING HALF TANK OF FUEL. CAR SUDDENLY STARTED LOOSING ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. I PULLED OVER AS QUICKLY AND SAFELY AND SHUT OFF CAR. CAR WOULD NO LONGER START. MY CHILDREN WERE PANICKING AS THIS IS OUR MAIN SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION AND WE COULD BARELY GET OFF THE ROAD SINCE WE HAD ZERO NOTICE OR WARNING OF ANYTHING HAPPENING AND ACCORDING TO THE GAUGE, I HAD PLENTY OF FUEL. WE HAD TO BE TOWED HOME AFTER WAITING FOR 3 HOURS FOR A TOW TRUCK. AFTER MANY SEARCHES OF WHAT COULD BE, I SAW FAULTY GAS GAUGES ARE A COMMON ISSUE. SO I ADDED A COUPLE GALLONS OF GAS AND MY CAR FIRED RIGHT UP.
PRESS BRAKES AND THEY START JUMPING AND MAKE A WEIRD SOUND, DON'T WORK CORRECTLY AS IF YOU LOOSE YOUR BREAKS FOR SOMETIME, PULL OVER SHUT CAR OFF WAIT AND THEN RESTART AND EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL - SCARY AT HIGH SPEEDS ON THE HIGHWAY, THIS HAS BEEN A CONTINOUS PROBLEM AND EVEN MY WORK AROUND IS NO LONGER WORKING. THIS HAPPENS ATLEAST ONCE A MONTH WITH CONTINUED DRIVING SO I USE MY OTHER CAR MORE OFTEN THAN NOT.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AROUND 45 TO 50 MPH. I LOOKED DOWN AND WHEN I LOOKED BACK UP A CAR WAS STOPPED IN THE ROAD. WHEN I PRESSED THE BRAKE IT MADE A WEIRD NOISE ALMOST LIKE A SPRING GOING BOING AND AIR RUSHING. THE NOISE IS VERY HARD TO DESCRIBE. THE PEDAL WENT ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. THE BRAKES HAD A WEIRD GRINDING SOUND AND A LOT OF VIBRATION IN THE PEDAL. I HAD THE BRAKES DOWN AS HARD AS I COULD. THE BRAKES DID WORK A LITTLE BUT NOTHING LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE. THERE WAS ONLY A VERY SMALL LIGHT IN COLOR SKID MARK. I LET THE OFFICER KNOW AFTER THE CRASH. AFTER LOOKING INTO IT I DISCOVERED THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. I WAS NOT INJURED BUT PEOPLE IN THE OTHER CAR WERE.

HI.WELL ON 051219 I MY NISSAN WAS PARKED OUTSIDE FROM MY WORK PLACE I WAS MAKING A LEFT TURN TO GET THE ROAD TO MY HOUSE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE INSIDE AIRBAGS TURN ON THEY POPPED .I GOT SO SCARRY COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING THERE WERE CARS COMING IN BOTH SIDES I FELT MY LIFE IN TREAT THERE WAS FIRE AND SMOKE RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD .I DRIVE TO THE SIDE AND TURN MY TRUCK OFF IT WAS TOWED BY A FRIEND OF MINE NOW MI NISSAN IS PARKED ON MY GARAGE CANNOT TAKE TO WORK I AM HAVING TROUBLE TO GET A RIDE TO MY JOB IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET HELP
WHILE DRIVING THE ARMADA, THE BRAKE LIGHT SUDDENLY TURNS ON. AND I'M UNABLE TO BRAKE IMMEDIATELY. I WOULD HAVE TO STOP THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY AND TURN IT OFF WAIT ABOUT TWO MINUTES, THEN TURN THE ENGINE BACK ON.. SOMETIMES IT STOPS, BUT MOST TIMES IT DOESN'T..

THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND WHEN THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS PLACED IN DRIVE, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 134,000.
BRAKE LIGHT ON DASH GOES ON AND THE BRAKES GRAB, MAKE IT HARD TO STOP WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED. HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES, HAD BRAKES REPLACED, AND CONTINUES TO HAPPEN WITH NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS. PROBLEM CLEARS TEMPORARY AFTER STOPPING VEHICLE AND TURNINH IGNITION OFF THEN BACK ON. LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED WAS 2-16-2019.
I WAS ON THE FREEWAY GOING 60 MPH WHEN THIS HAPPENED .HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKE BOOSTER BRAKE PEDAL GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AND DOESN'T WANNA BREAK ON TIME ALSO MAKES A WEIRD NOISES THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ON I HAVE TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE AND START AGAIN AND THEN IT WON'T DO IT FOR A WHILE AND THEN AFTER A WHILE IT HAPPEN AGAIN SO SCARY
ALL DASH BOARD LIGHTS SUDDENLY TURN ON WHEN DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND BREAKS DISENGAGE. PRESSING THE BREAK PEDAL RESULTS IN A LOUD GRINDING NOISE AND SOUNDS LIKE SPRINGS TEARING. THIS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES. DEALER CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM AND I HAVE CHANGED BREAK PADS AND ROTORS BUT STILL CONTINUES. THE ONLY SOLVE IS TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND TURN IT BACK ON.
I APPLIED MY BRAKES AND STOPPED 10 FEET BEHIND A PICK-UP AT TRAFFIC LIGHT. THE CAR SURGED FORWARD. I PUSHED ON THE BRAKES HARDER, STOPPED THEN THE CAR SURGED AGAIN HITTING THE PICK-UP TWICE EACH TIME AFTER STOPPING WHEN PUSHING HARDER ON THE BRAKES. IT IS ONLY AFTER PUTTING IN NEUTRAL THAT IT ALLOWED ME TO CONTROL IT AND PULL OVER TO EXCHANGE DRIVER INFORMATION. THE SAME HAPPENED WHILE WAITING TO FILL-UP WITH GAS IN MARCH 2018. I ALMOST HIT A SMALL CAR. I PUT IT INTO PARK AT WHICH TIME THE SHIFTER CABLE BROKE.
THE POWER SEAT POSITIONING OF THE DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER SEAT CHANGES POSITION ON ITS OWN RANDOMLY (WHILE DRIVING, WHILE PARKED WITH&WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING), AND GIVES LITTLE POSITIONING "CLICK" SOUNDS AS IT DOES IT. THIS OCCURS MORE ON SOME DAYS THAN OTHERS, USUALLY ONLY WITH PEOPLE SITTING ON THE SEAT AND ONLY IN SMALL INCREMENTS, BUT WHEN I GO MANUALLY CHANGE IT BACK WITH THE CONTROLLERS ON THE SIDE OF THE SEAT, IT WON'T ADJUST UNTIL THE PERSON IS OUT OF THE SEAT. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE AND HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY. THIS HAS ALSO BEEN NOTICED BY TWO PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT.

BREAK LIGHT COMES ON WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN I GO TO STOP IT MAKES A GOD AWFUL SOUND. HAVE TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE JUNE 1ST 2018. TURNING IF OFF SEEMS TO CLEAR THE ISSUE BUT TODAY 3 LIGHTS CAME ON BRAKE, SLIP AND VDS. TURNING IT OFF AND BACK ON DID NOT SEEM TO FIX IT. ALSO, THE TRUNK ON THE VEHICLE DOESNT UNLOCK WHEN YOU HIT THE BUTTON NEITHER DOES THE GLASS LIFT DOOR I HAVE TO CLIMB IN THRU THE VEHICLE GET INSIDE THE TRUNK AND TAKE COVER OFF OF THE EMERGENCY RELEASE AND HOLD DOWN LEVER WHILE SOMEONE FROM THE OUTSIDE OPENS THE DOOR FOR ME WHILE IM INSIDE HOLDING THE LEVER DOWN. THE LOSS OF POWER IS THE MAIN ISSUE HERE WHAT IF I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE OR SOMETHING AND THAT HAPPENED.
THE RADIATOR RELEASED TRANSMISSION FLUID ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY, IT WAS MIXED WITH THE COOLANT AND NOW MY GEARS ARE STRIPPED. ONCE THEY DID THOSE SERVICES AFTER COUPLE OF MONTHS SAME PROBLEM OCCURRING AGAIN. NOW FIRESTONE SAID IT'S ABS PROBABLY. I LOOKED ONLINE LOTS OF HAD SAME THIS UNKNOWN PROBLEM N IT'S DANGEROUS.. TRUCK SPUN INTO THE MEDIAN GUARD RAIL AND I HAD TO STRUGGLE TO GET IT STOPPED. INSPECTION OF THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL WELL REVEALED THAT THE TIE ROAD TO THAT WHEEL ASSEMBLY HAD COMPLETELY SEVERED ITSELF--AS IF YOU WERE SLICING INTO A CAKE WITH A KNIFE. . THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS SUDDENLY STOP WORKING. THEY WERE WORKING TODAY DURING THE DAYTIME AND I HAD THEM ON. AS IT GOT DARK THE LIGHTS WOULD NOT COME ON. I TURNED THE LIGHT SWITCH ON AND OFF TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE ON. I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR ON AND OFF AGAIN BUT DID NOT FIX PROBLEM. THE HIGH BEAMS WORKED SO I HAD TO DRIVE WITH THOSE ON (EXCEPT EVERYONE KEPT FLASHING ME ON THE WAY HOME). I STOPPED AT AUTOZONE TO GET A NEW FUSE AND RELAY FUSE. THAT DID NOT WORK. WHEN I GOT HOME I PULLED ALL THE FUSES AND THEN PUT THEM BACK IN. CAR SAID NO KEY FOB BUT I DID HAVE IT. I LOCKED AND UNLOCKED THE CAR WITH THE KEY FOB THEN TURNED ON THE CAR AND THE LIGHTS STARTED WORKING AGAIN. DROVE IT THE NEXT DAY DURING THE DAYLIGHT (WHICH WAS TODAY) WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ON TO MAKE SURE THEY WORK. ONCE IT GOT DARK THE LIGHTS WERE NOT ON AND I WENT THROUGH THE ABOVE PROCEDURE AT HOME TO GET THE LIGHTS WORKING AGAIN (E.G., PULL ALL THE FUSES AT ONCE THEN PUT BACK IN THEN GO THROUGH THE KEY FOB ISSUES AGAIN THEN THE LIGHTS WORK AGAIN).

IN 20017 I WAS REAR ENDED ON I95 BY ANOTHER DRIVER AT NO FAULT ON MY PART. I REQUESTED THE VEHICLE BE FIXED BUT A CHECK OF ONLY $384.80 WAS MAILED TO ME 2 YEARS LATER. NOW THE VEHICLES STEERING WABLES, ALONG WITH THE BRAKES AND WHEELS.
THE BRAKES SUDDENLY QUIT WORKING PROPERLY, VIBRATION, GRINDING, ETC. THE SUV WILL STOP IF YOU BABY THE BRAKE PEDAL. IF I TURN IGN. OFF, THEN BACK ON, THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY.
THE SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT ANY INCIDENT OF AN ACCIDENT OR CRASH. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT-NOTHING WAS BUT OR BUMPED JUST DRIVING 35 MPH AND THE SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED FULLY AND THE SEAT BELTS ON THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIGHTENED TO THE POINT OF RESTRICTED BREATHING. THE SEATBELTS NO LOMGER CAN BE USED AS THEY SHOULD. THEY DO NOT EXTEND OUT FULLY. AND THE AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY. BEFORE THE DEPLOYMENT OF THE SIDE AIRBAGS THE BRAKES WOULD GRIND TO THE POINT OF NEEDING TO PULL OVER TO PUMP THE BRAKES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO FUNCTION AGAIN PROPERLY. THIS WOULD HAPPEN EVERY 100 MILES OR SO.
