ONE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. A SECOND MECHANIC ALSO INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TO BE TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
MY VEHICLE WAS MAKING A NOISE LIKE IT HAD A HOLE IN THE EXHAUST. COME TO FIND OUT, BOTH OF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS ARE CRACKED. 3000 PAST THE 80000 MILE WARRANTY AND NISSAN WILL NOT COVER IT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I SURE WISH THERE COULD BE AN EXTENSION TO THIS WARRANTY AS THERE WAS WITH ANOTHER MANUFACTURER THAT EXTENDED IT TO 100000 MILES. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
