PURCHASED 2008 MAXIMA AS 2ND OWNER WHEN CAR WAS 6 MONTHS OLD WITH APPROX. 20K MILES. RECENTLY WHILE HAVING TIRED CHANGED, NOTICED EXTREME RUST ON UNDERSIDE OF THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT. IN RESEARCHING THE INTERNET, THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH MAXIMAS. THIS CAR HAS BEEN BABIED SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT, DRIVING MINIMUM MILES. WHAT IS NISSAN DOING TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM? *TR
PURCHASE A 2008 NISSAN MAXIMA WITH 48871 MILES FROM GLENDORA TOYOTA IN CALIFORNIA AND FULL CARFAX REPORT WAS NOT PROVIDED TO ME AT TIME OF PURCHASE. AFTER DOING RESEARCH AND PRINTING MY OWN CARFAX REPORT I COME TO FINE OUT CAR HAS BEEN TO SEVERAL BIG NAME DEALERSHIPS HERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR INSPECTION AND REPAIRS FOR ALIGNMENT AND CHASSIS REPAIR OR LUBRICATION AS MENTION ON REPORT. I WAS NOT TOLD THIS A DEALER WHEN I HAD ASK CAR SALE MAN " HIS WORDS WERE CAR IS FIND AND NO PROBLEMS". I FEEL VERY UNSAFE DRIVING THIS CAR BUT I HAVE NO OTHER MEANS OF GETTING TO WORK. *TR
