Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I would have my cruise control set and it would detect I was too close to another vehicle (which there was no other vehicle anywhere). The cruise would shut off, and I would be unable to reset my cruise due to the radar sensor problems. This has not yet evolved a collision or other accidents. I know that this is dangerous to the point of relying on something and then it just stop whenever it wants. I do not wish any accidents, but it sounds as though if no one has been seriously injured or even death that this would be a continuing thing and somehow cost the owner money to fix a Nissan problem. I would also have my cruise set and it would detect a vehicle in front of me, and instead of adapting to the vehicle's speed it would beep then turn off. All while in morning traffic, and would have to manual accelerate since it no longer was working. I have taken my Maxima to the local Nissan Dealer ship with no positive out come.
