I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND THE ENGINE ACTED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO STALL AND WOULDN'T RESPOND BY GIVING IT GAS. THEN IT JUST LURCHED FORWARD ABRUBTLY AND BEGAN TO RUN NORMALLY. THEN AFTER ABOUT 2 MORE BLOCKS WHILE WE'RE GOING 45 MPH IT COMPLETELY STALLED OUT IN THE MIDDLE LANE OF A 3 LANE ROAD. THIS CAUSED THE CAR BEHIND ME TO ALMOST REAREND US BUT THE CARS BEHIND THEM ACTUALLY DID GET INTO A CRASH TRYING TO STOP FROM HITTING THEM. THANKFULLY A POLICE CAR WAS A FEW CARS BACK AND WAS ABLE TO PUT THEIR LIGHTS ON AND PUSH MY CAR OUT OF TRAFFIC BECAUSE WE COULDN'T EVEN GET OUT OF THE CAR WITH CARS WHIZZING PAST US ON BOTH SIDES. THANK GOD OR WE COULD'VE BEEN INVOLVED IN A MULTIPLE CAR CRASH AND ONE OF US COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT. THIS HAPPENED ON 07/13/18. I PAID ABOUT $600 TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AND FIX SOMETHING IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. NOW IT IS ONLY A MONTH LATER, 08/15/18, AND IT'S DONE IT AGAIN. IT STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONSTRUCTION ZONE DRIVING 35MPH WHILE TAKING MY CHILD TO SCHOOL CAUSING TRAFFIC TO BACK UP. THE CARS WERE DRIVING THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION CONES/SIGNS TO OUR RIGHT ILLEGALLY OR THEY WERE DRIVING DOWN THE SHARED TURN LANE ON OUR LEFT TO GET AROUND ME. ABOUT 200 CARS DROVE PAST US WITHOUT BOTHERING TO OFFER HELP AND EVEN AFTER CALLING 911 FOR HELP, IT TOOK THEM ALMOST AN HOUR TO SHOW UP AND ONCE AGAIN HAD TO PUSH US OFF THE ROAD TO SAFETY. THIS IS CREATING A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. I SAW RECALL 09V169000 FOR SIMILAR OR SAME ISSUE FOR MY MODEL/YEAR BUT WHEN I LOOK UP MY VIN IT SAYS I HAVE NO RECALLS. I HAD SPENT ALMOST $1300 ABOUT 3-4 YRS AGO TO FIX THIS VERY SAME "STALLING WHILE DRIVING" ISSUE AND THOUGHT I WAS PAST ALL THIS. NOW I'M BACK TO SQUARE 1 AND ISSUE STILL EXISTS! WHY IS THIS NISSAN MURANO FLAW NOT COVERED FOR ALL MURANO'S WITH THIS PROBLEM? PEASE RESEARCH MY VIN# AND SEE IF IT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL BEFORE ONE OF US GETS SERIOUSLY HURT?
GOOD AFTERNOON, THE AIRBAG SENSOR WAS ON, AND I WAS AFFECTED BY THE HORN, AND THE FUNCTIONS THAT ARE USED IN THE STEERING WHEEL
TAKATA RECALL..I DROVE MY 2005 NISSAN MURANO AND I PARKED THE NISSAN. 20 MINUTES LATER STARTED TO BACK THE CAR AND AS SOON AS I PUT IT ON DR IT WENT BY 2 MILES AN HOUR SO THEN I PRESSED ON THE GAS ALL THE WAY DOWN AND IT STILL WENT TO MILES AN HOUR IT'S STILL DROVE BUT IT WAS GOING AROUND 5 MILES AN HOUR. THEN I PARKED THE NISSAN AND LET IT COOL OFF AND SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. I COULD NOT FIND NOTHING, I CALLED MY HUSBAND HE COULD NOT FIND NOTHING EITHER, HE DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK AND IT STILL WENT 5 MILES AN HOUR SO THEN HE CHECKED THE ENGINE NOTHING WAS WRONG BUT IT DID SAY ABS AND THEN AROUND 20 MINUTES LATER THE NISSAN TURN ON AND IT WENT NORMAL AND NOTHING HAPPENED UNTIL 2 MONTHS LATER. THE NEXT TIME I WAS AT A DRIVE-THRU AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ABS TURN ON AND IT DID NOT WANT TO GO FAST IT WENT AGAIN FIVE MILES AN HOUR. THEN I TURN AROUND THE CORNER AND THEN IT WENT FAST BUT THEN IT WENT SLOW AGAIN SO I PARK THE NISSAN, AND BEGIN TO START IT AND THEN IT WOULDN'T START THE ABS WENT ON AGAIN, THEN THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. I FINALLY GOT A JUMP AND IT TURNED BACK ON LIKE NORMAL AND IT WENT NORMAL UNTIL I GOT TO THE STORE AND I LEFT THE NISSAN ON WITH THE AIR CONDITION AND HAD MY SON IN THE CAR. MY SON SAID THAT AIR CONDITIONER KEEP GOING ON AND OFF ON AND OFF THE WINDOWS WERE NOT WORKING TRY TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS IT WASN'T WORKING SO THEN I GOT IN THE CAR AND AS SOON AS I PUT IT IN DRY IT DIDN'T WANT TO GO IT WENT 5 MILES AN HOUR THEN THE ABS TURNED BACK ON AND THEN IT WENT BACK TO NORMAL I WAS DRIVING I MADE IT ALL THE WAY HOME AND THAT IS WHAT'S GOING ON WITH A NISSAN MURANO.
VEHICLE SHUT-OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING ON THE ROADS AND FREEWAY. HAD TO IMMEDIATELY PUT NEUTRAL RESTART ENGINE SEVERAL TIMES. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP IN BELLEVUE NE AND THEY ONLY REPLACED THE DUCT VENT TUBE FROM THE AIR FILTER. I HAD MENTIONED THAT IT HAS A CODE ON ODB2 SCANNER CAM SENSOR AND THEY DON'T HAVE A RECALL FOR IT. PLEASE NEED A SAFE CAR FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE SEAT BELT WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED EVEN WHEN THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT WAS LATCHED. THE DEALER (LAWLEY NISSAN, 2960 E FRY BLVD, SIERRA VISTA, AZ 85635, (520) 459-2000) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 05V319000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 156,000.
CAR LOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING. CODES P1700 AND C1210 POP UP IN COMPUTER. NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG. AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON. NO ONE CAN TURN IT OFF OR TELL ME IF IT WILL WORK.
CAR STALLS WHEN DRIVING
THE NISSAN MURANO DRIVER SEAT BRACKET HAS CRACKED LIKE EVERY OTHER PERSON ON THIS LIST HAS STATED WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING TO AND FROM WORK WHICH SHE DRIVES DAILY ONLY 14 MILES ROUND TRIP. SHE GOES BETWEEN 30-45 MILES PER HOUR AND WHILE THIS CRACK OCCURRED SHE WAS GOING ABOUT 35ON A CITY STREET, SHE DIDN'T LOOSE CONTROL BUT THE CAR DID VEER OFF TO THE SIDE AS WHO WOULD EXPECT YOUR SEAT TO PARTIALLY COLLAPSE. THANK GOODNESS THE ROAD WAS EMPTY AND SHE HAS NO TRAFFIC TO COMBAT WITH. THE NHTSA SHOULD CARE OF THE CHANCE OF DEATH OR ACCIDENT FROM OCCURRING NOT JUST WHAT HAS HAPPENED, THE COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN STATED AS BEING HIGH BY THE NHTSA. CLEARLY NISSAN USA SHOULD BE LIABLE IF THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS THAT IT IS CLEAR THEY HAVE USED A FAULTY PART. A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED AND PROTECTION FOR THE CONSUMERS WHO HAVE INVESTED OR CHOSEN THESE CAR SHOULD BE A PRIORITY NOT PROTECTION OF BIG BUSINESS. THIS IS A COMPONENT THAT SHOULDN'T BREAK IF A PROPERLY CONSTRUCTED BRACKET WAS USED. HAVING HAD 7 CARS OVER MY LIFE FROM RANGING IN AGE FROM 20 YEARS OLD TO BRAND NEW NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER HAD THIS ISSUE AND I AM APPALLED THAT NO ONE, NOT NISSAN OR THE NHTSA CARES ABOUT A POORLY CONSTRUCTED PRODUCT THAT IS NOT WHAT THE CONSUMER PAID FOR AND COULD LEAD TO POTENTIAL INJURY. I GUESS SOME MORE PEOPLE HAVE TO GET HURT OR DIE FOR THE NHTSA TO CARE, QUITE SAD WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT THIS WAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO EQUIPPED WITH ANTARES COMFORT A5 TIRES, SIZE: 235/65/R18 (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT AND REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRES CONSTANTLY BECAME FLAT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED. THE TIRES WERE TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE VALVE STEMS WERE REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRES WERE INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17T018000 (TIRES). THE APPROXIMATE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 159,821. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,780. *DT UPDATED 11/30/18*JB
SUN VISOR ON DRIVER SIDE CONTINUOUSLY FALLS DOWN WHILE DRIVING.
CAR HAS A BROKEN SUSPENSION AND STABILIZATION BAR, CAR IN PREVIOUS ACCIDENT NOT DISCLOSED TO BUYER. CAR SHOULD NOT BE ON ROAD AS IT IS VERY UNSAFE TIRES ARE SPREADING IN A TRIANGULAR DIMENSION DUE TO PREVIOUS DAMAGE.
AIR INTAKE HOSE BECOMES LOSE CAUSING CAR TO STALL IN TRAFFIC AND STOP. FREQUENT JUMPSTARTS NECESSARY WHEN IT BECOMES LOOSE.
DRIVERS SIDE SEAT IS LOOSE AND STARTED TO DIP TOWARDS THE LEFT. THE SEAT IS BROKEN. I LOOKED ONLINE AND CAN SEE THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM. ALSO THE PANEL WHERE YOU CAN PUSH TO LOCK AWD OR PUT ON THE SEAT WARMERS HAS SUNK INTO THE PANEL.
REAR DOORS AND REAR HATCH WILL NOT OPEN WHEN USING REMOTE KEY FOB. NISSAN SAY YOU HAVE TO REPLACE RIGHT FRONT, LEFT AND RIGHT REAR DOOR ACTUATORS FOR ABOUT $1500.
TAKATA RECALL- ONE MORNING GOT INTO MY CAR AND WHEN I STARTED THE ENGINE I NOTICE THAT THE AIRBAG RED LIGHT STARTED FLASHING ON THE PANEL AND SINCE THEN IT KEEPS ME WORRY THAT THIS AIRBAG MAY COME OUT BY ACCIDENT WHILE I AM DRIVING. I AM VERY NERVOUS TO DRIVE MY CAR DUE TO THIS WARNING
AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO FLASH, AND HORN STOPPED WORKING.
THE BATTERY AND BRAKE WARNING LIGHT COME ON. THE VEHICLE GOES INTO LIMP MODE AND DOESN'T DRIVE. THIS HAPPEN WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON CITY STREET AT 45 MILES PER HOUR I HAD TO PULL OVER AND GET IT TOWED HOME,
RECALL ON ENGINE RESONATOR ISS AND AIRDUCT INTAKE. ENGINE STALLING ON HIGHWAY. ENGINE SHAKES SOMETIMES
THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE 2013. POWER STEERING LEAKAGE. 3 MECHANICS CHECKED CAR COULDN'T FIND LEAK. I ENDED UP CARRYING FLUID WITH ME CAUSE I NEVER KNEW WHEN IT WOULD GO OUT. THE 4TH MECHANIC CHANGED THE POWER STEERING PRESSURE SWITCH THAT WASN'T THE PROBLEM. HE HAS NOW FOUND THAT THE CARE LEAKS WHEN NOT IN MOTION. A POWER STEERING RACK HAS BEEN ORDERED
VEHICLE TAKES MINUTES TO PICK UP SPEED ESPECIALLY TRUE WHEN IT IS ON A STOP POSITION EITHER IN AN INTERSECTION OR TRAFFIC LIGHT INTERSECTION. I PUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS AND PRESS ALL THE WAY DOWN WHERE IT SLOWLY MOVES, PICK UP A SPEED AND DO THE SAME THING FOR EACH STOP SIGN OR TRAFFIC STOP LIGHT. WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, IT MAKES A SCREECHING SOUND. IF ABLE TO DRIVE, STEERING WHEEL SOMETIMES HAVE THAT SLIGHT SHAKING. WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THESE ISSUES FOR MORE THAN A YEAR NOW. TIRES WERE CHANGED AND BRAKES CHANGED BUT ISSUES STILL A BIG CONCERN.
FUEL SENSOR SAYS CAR IS ON EMPTY BUT WILL NEVER FILL UP PAST 1/2 TANK. ALTERNATOR IS OUT NOW & BAD VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING BETWEEN 60-70MPH SO COULD POSSIBLY BE U JOINT CONSIDERING EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN DONE THAT WOULD CORRECT A VIBRATION
COMPLAINT: DRIVERS SEAT REAR BRACKET SNAPPED OFF MAKING THE SEAT SWAY FROM SIDE TO SIDE, UNABLE TO DRIVE WHEN CORNERING, WAS DRIVING ON RT 81 AT 70MPH HAD TO FIND THE NEAREST EXIT TO STOP, NOW DRIVING WITH 3 2X4S UNDER THE REAR SEAT TO STOP THE SWAY.
GOT SERVICE ENGINE SOON ERROR CODE ON MONITOR WITH TEMPORARY LOSS OF POWER ON THE ROAD ON 2005 NISSAN MURANO (54000 MILES). LOOKING AT INTERNET I FOUND THAT THIS IS CONSISTENT PROBLEM FOR THIS CAR JUST LIKE OTHER NISSAN CARS OF THIS PERIOD (XTERRA, PATHFINDER). THIS IS RELATED TO FUEL SENSOR ERROR WITH P0463 CODE WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR ANY CARS. ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIR IS ABOUT $600 TO $ 800. I THINK NISSAN SHOULD RECALL OR AT LEAST PARTIALLY COMPENSATE OWNERS. I WAS ALSO ASKED TO REPLACE POWER STEERING HIGH PRESSURE HOSE A FEW YEARS AGO THAT COSTS ABOUT $ 1000/=. ALL THESE ARE SAFETY ISSUES AS IT CAN STOP CAR ON ROAD AT ANY TIME. I REQUEST AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO INFORM NHTSA AND NISSAN IF SUCH PROBLEM ARISES.
MY SEAT IS LOOSE DUE TO FAILURE OF THE 8 WAY ADJUSTABLE CONTROL THAT IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AND THAT WAS REPAIRED BY NISSAN 2 TIME ONES WHEN THE CAR WAS 2 YEARS OLD AND RECENTLY I PAID TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. NOW I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AND THE DEALER INDICATED THAT THEY NOW HAVE A BETTER CONTROL AT 2 TIMES THE COST.
SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS THE CAR WOULD SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY, WITH NO WARNING HAD TO GET TOWED. WHILE IN DRIVE-THROUGH CAR SHUT DOWN BUT A DELAY THEN RESTARTED. BOUGHT NEW BATTERY, ALTERNATOR AND GOT A TUNE-UP. CURRENTLY THE CAR WILL NOT GO IN BACKWARDS.
TRANSMISSION FAILURE
I BOUGHT MY 05 MURANO FROM THE DEALERSHIP FOR $6000 AND I ONLY DROVE IT FOR 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE ALTERNATOR AND THE TRANSMISSION WENT. I PAID $600 FOR THE ALTERNATOR TO BE REPAIRED AND 2 WEEKS LATER THE TRANSMISSION WENT. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT IT WOULD COST ME $4200 TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY SORT OF DISCOUNT. I GOT 3 MONTHS OUT OF A $6000+ DOLLAR CAR. I AM SO UPSET THIS HAS CAUSED SO MANY PROBLEMS IN MY LIFE IN SO MANY WAYS. I CAN'T BELIEVE NISSAN IS MORALLY OK WITH RIPPING ME OFF LIKE THIS.
THE LIFTGATE WON'T LATCH WHEN CLOSED, THEREFORE THE TAILGATE IS NOT PROPERLY SECURED WHEN SHUT. I HAVE HAD THIS REPAIRED ONCE BEFORE AND IT WORKED FOR A TIME, BUT HAS NOW REOCCURED.
DRIVER'S SEAT BRACKET IS BROKEN SO THE SEAT IS SLANTED AND WOBBLES.
I'M UNABLE TO LOCK/UNLOCK ANY DOORS USING THE LOCK/UNLOCK BUTTONS IN THE CAR. THEY ONLY LOCK/UNLOCK MANUALLY. THE KEY MANUALLY LOCKS/UNLOCKS THE DRIVER DOOR ONLY. FOB DOESN'T WORK FOR ANY LOCKS, AND IT'S A NEW ONE.
THE DRIVER'S SIDE SUN VISOR FALLS DOWN AND WILL NOT STAY UP. THIS DISTRACTS THE DRIVERS ABILITY TO SEE AND IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN THAT WILL DIRECTLY RESULT IN ACCIDENTS. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THIS VEHICLE AND AN ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED BY MANY MURANO OWNERS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 8 MPH, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A SIMILAR FAILURE IN THE PAST YEAR AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. I WAS DRIVING MY 2005 NISSAN MURANO ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE BATTERY LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. FEW MINUTES LATER IT WOULDN'T ACCELERATE THEN STALLED OUT AND WOULDN'T START. AFTER GETTING A JUMP IT STARTED UP BUT WOULDN'T MOVE. I CAN GET THE ALTERNATOR BUT I'M STILL HAVING THE PROBLEM. DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR THE REAR PASSENGER SUBFRAME BUSTED, CAUSED MY CAR TO PULL LEFT AND RIGHT UNTIL I COULD GET OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAFELY. UPON EVALUATION THE TOTAL COST OF HAVING MY REAR SUBFRAME REPAIRED IS $5,022.37 INVOICE NUMBER ON THIS QUOTE IS Q7812. NISSAN HAS A WARRANTY EXTENSION ON THE 2002-2005 ALTIMA SUBFRAME, FOR 13 YEARS AND UNLIMITED MILES. CAMPAIGN P5216 AND SERVICE BULLETIN NTB05-114B. WHERE MY CONCERN IS, THAT MY MURANO HAS THE SAME SUBFRAME AS THE ALTIMA BUT NISSAN REFUSES TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. MY VEHICLE HAD THE EXACT SAME ISSUE AS THE ALTIMA AND COULD HAVE KILLED OR SEVERELY INJURED ME WHILE I WAS ON THAT HIGHWAY. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO POCATELLO NISSAN (1900 FLANDRO DR, POCATELLO, ID) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG CONTROL SENSOR WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ALSO, WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BACK MOVED BECAUSE THE SEAT FRAME WAS FRACTURED. THE SEAT WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.

I BOUGHT MY SON AN 2005 NISSAN MURANO LAST YEAR. JUST RECENTLY HIS DRIVERS SEAT TRACK HAS BROKEN IN THE FARTHEST BACK POSITION IT CAN GO. IT IS NOW A SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME TO DRIVE. I CAN NOT REACH THE GAS PEDAL AND BRAKE SAFELY. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND THAT NISSAN WOULD NOT FIX IT BECAUSE THEIR WERE NO INJURIES AS OF YET.... INJURIES OR NOT THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND THEY SHOULD MAKE IT RIGHT !! I CONTACTED NISSAN DIRECTLY AND JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I AM A SINGLE MOM STILL PAYING ON THIS CAR I CAN'T AFFORD $1,000.00 TO REPLACE THE SEAT. WHY CAN'T SOMEONE MAKE THIS COMPANY DO THE ETHICAL THING AND REPLACE THE BROKEN PART????? "TAKATA RECALL" NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 05V319000 I EXPERIENCED THE EXACT SAME ISSUE DESCRIBED IN THE CAMPAIGN NUMBER ABOVE. I CALLED THE PISCHKE MOTORS NISSAN IN LACROSSE WISCONSIN ABOUT THE PROBLEM. THEY SIMPLY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL REGARDING THAT ISSUE. THEY SAID THAT MY MURANO WAS MADE AFTER THAT RECALL WAS ADDRESSED HOWEVER, AS MENTIONED, I'AM SEEING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS IN A PARKING LOT IN MOTION WHEN IT FAILED.
ON MY 2005 NISSAN MURANO ALL DOORS, INCLUDING GAS DOOR, EXCEPT DRIVERS DOOR WILL PERIODICALLY FAIL TO LOCK OR UNLOCK USING THE DOOR LOCK BUTTON ON DRIVERS DOOR OR KEY FOB. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE LINKED TO THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE, MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR ON HOT DAYS. THE SOUNDS YOU HEAR ARE THE SAME JUST SOMETIMES THE LOCK BUTTON JUST WIGGLES SLIGHTLY, RATHER THAN MOVING ENOUGH TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS. THIS PROBLEM OCCURS AT ANY TIME, REGARDLESS OF VEHICLE MOVEMENT. I FIND IT ODD FOR ALL LOCK ACTUATORS TOO FAIL AT THE SAME TIME, THEN START WORKING AGAIN AT THE SAME TIME. THE DEALER WANTS 1600-2000 DOLLARS TO REPLACE ALL LOCK ACTUATORS.
DRIVER SEAT IS BROKEN IT IS BEING SUPPORTED NOW WITH 3 BRICKS. IT BROKE AS I WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN AND I TEMPORARY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

JUST BOUGHT THE VEHICLE IN JANUARY OF 2016 THINKING IT WOULD BE A GOOD USED CAR. I WAS WRONG IT HAS 155,000 MILES ON IT. TODAY I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WAS STOP AT STOPLIGHT WENT TO TAKE OFF AND IT STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY MOVE IT FORM THE ROAD AND IT WOULDN'T GO ABOVE 5 MPH, SO I TURNED IT OFF THEN BACK ON IT STARTED TO DRIVE FINE I DIDN'T TAKE ANY CHANCES HAD IT TOWED TO A FRIENDS REPAIR SHOP WERE CHECKED THE CODES AND IT WAS ALL FOR THE TRANSMISSION. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A HUGE WRECK AS THE ROAD I WAS ON IS EXTREMELY BUSY. THIS VERY UNSAFE FOR NISSAN NOT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT.

MY BACK DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT UNLOCK OR LOCK THIS MORNING. IT WAS WORKING FINE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. I TRIED TO UNLOCK FROM THE INSIDE AND APPEARS THAT THE LOCK BUTTON IS NOT WORKING AS IT SHOULD. I CANNOT OPEN THE DOOR AT ALL FROM OUTSIDE OR INSIDE. I ONLY USE THE KEY ITSELF AND UNLOCK OR LOCK DOORS WITH THE PANEL BUTTONS.
