The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the occupant sensor module had cause the failure and recommended that the seat frame be replaced. The air bag light started blinking. We took the car to our local Nisan dealership. We had to pay $220.77 just to have them look at it. They said there was an occupant sensor unit malfunction and it needed the bottom seat pad replaced. We were then told “that it is discontinued “! We are left with an air bag that doesn’t work, and a blinking air bag warning sign that constantly reminds us of the danger we are in. I am frightened to death to drive the car and angry that it cost $220.77 for nothing. When I asked what I could do - they said “You can trade it in and buy a new Nisan”! We will never buy another Nisan!! Can you help?

MY PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT START BLINKING AND THE AIRBAG SYSTEM WAS OUT. MY CAR WAS IN MY GARAGE, WHEN ON A CERTAIN DAY I WAS GOING OUT AND AS I TURN ON MY CAR I SAW THE AIRBAG LIGHT BLINKING. THEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE NISSAN DEALER AND THEY SAID THE AIRBAG WAS NOT IN RECALL.
